Konstantin was packing up his duffel bag and he was so angry with himself over the fight that he had with his mom, Carmilla. It wasn't something he ever imagined he'd ever had the guts to say to her face. Sadly, the damage was done and he was pretty sure that he wouldn't be able to ever forgive himself. Could his Mom forgive him?
Emma walked into Konstantin's room and plopped down on his bed.
"Where do you think you're going, Kid?"
"I'm getting out of here, Emma."
'Why?"
"I said something so...so unforgivable to my Mama C."
"What was it?"
"I told her that I didn't want her to be my Mom anymore."
"She's going to always be your Mom no matter what you say. You're not alone, you know that."
"Why is she going to let Mama L and I die off while she'll live forever?"
"You know that she doesn't want that."
"But she won't turn us, so what other choice does she have?"
"Maybe they'll be another solution in the future. What I do know is that running away never solves anything. You'll worry your parents."
"How would you know whether they'll be worried?"
"It's because I'm a parent too."
