Chapter 29: Love in the Air

One week after the last chapter.

Raditz was currently outside of a fancy restaurant, dressed in a nice suit and tie.

After his time on Namek, even if they had only been together for a a few months, Raditz felt nothing but true love for Maron.

And so, he was going to propose.

It may have seemed sudden, but nearly dying on Namek had sparked the thought in Raditz. He didn't wanna spend another minute of his life without her. He wanted what Goku and Bulma had. What Tien and Launch had. What Chi Chi and Yamcha had. And even the young love Gohan had with Videl and Erasa, and what Chi Cha had with Dende.

And so, tonight was the night.

Raditz approached the front desk.

The man, "ah, yes. Your date showed up a few minutes ago."

Dende, "red and white robes?"

Dende, "you had dreams about me? About us?"

One had short black hair, a black undershirt and white overshirt, with blacks shorts. The other had short blonde hair, and was in a green shoulderless top, and skinny blue jeans.

Gohan himself was dressed in a dark blue jacket with an orange shirt and black pants. His hair was a little shorter, but still kept a similar appearance to his old haircut.

He felt happy with these two women.

No, it was more than that.

He felt…. Love.

He knew it seemed strange, being in love with two women. But, it just felt right between the three of them.

Before the dream ended, Gohan saw the faces of the two woman.

And it shocked him a bit.

As Gohan some up from his dream for a moment, he said two names to himself.

"Videl? Erasa?"

When Goku first landed on Yardrat;

Goku sat there, dumbfounded at the man before him. His father, Bardock.

Bardock, "K-Kakkorot? I-is it really you?"

Goku, "are you…. B-Bardock? My father?"

Bardock quickly asked, "your brother's name?"

Goku understood why he asked this. He wanted to test this to see if it were true.

In unison they said, "Raditz."

Both looked dumbstruck before Bardock asked, "your mother's name?"

"Gine."

Bardock couldn't believe it. His youngest son was alive! He quickly helped the Saiyan up, looking him up and down.

Bardock, "I can't believe it. You survived the destruction of Planet Vegeta!"

Goku, "so did you! But, how?"

Bardock, "somehow, I survived that blast of energy Frieza sent, and ended up hurtling towards this planet. Yadrat. Over time, I became their protector."

Goku, "uh…. Why don't we sit and catch up?"

Bardock, "good idea. I wanna hear about what my son has been doing for the past twenty seven years."

A few minutes later, the two were sat on a lot together, in front of a fire that was cooking some form of alien boar.

Bardock, "so, what happened to you after you landed on that planet, Earth?"

Goku, "well…. I was found by a kind old man. My Grandpa Gohan. When he first found me, I was a very violent child."

Bardock, "like most Saiyan infants."

Goku, "right. But, one day, I received a head injury. It changes me into a happy and friendly little boy."

Bardock, "you never destroyed the planet?"

Goku, "no. For years, I went on many adventures. I made many friends. And the first person I met after Grandpa Gohan died, was the woman I married."

Bardock, "you have a mate?"

Goku nodded, "my wife. Bulma. She means the world to me. She and our son, who I named after Gohan."

Bardock, "well I'll be. I'm a grandpa?"

Goku, "yeah. I saved the world many times. For a few years, peace came. But then, I finally met Raditz."

Bardock, "your brother? He's alive!?"

Goku, "yeah. At first, we fought, but after Gohan and our enemy turned friend Piccolo helped us win, we joined us to defend the Earth from two other Saiayns."

Bardock, "who?"

Goku, "Nappa, who with the help of some, uh, Saiba-"

Bardock, "Saibamen?"

Goku, "yeah. They caused the deaths of four of my friends. I was able to defeat Nappa. And the other, Vegeta."

Bardock, "you mean the Prince?"

Goku, "yeah. He killed Nappa for failing him. W fought, and it was thanks to my friends, Krillin, Yajirobe, Gohan, Raditz and Chi Cha, that we won. He got away, and a month later, Bulma and a few others went to Planet Namek."

Bardock, "I've heard of that place. The Namekians, the creators of something called the Dragon Balls?"

Goku, "yeah. They went there to use the Dragon Balls to wish our friends back. Eventually, me and Raditz got there, and helped our friends to survive. Even Vegeta became our ally. And…. We found mom."

Bardock, "... Gine?"

Goku, "yeah. She's been in suspended animation ever since Planet Vegeta blew up. Me and Raditz met her."

Bardock, "my Gine. My beautiful Gine is alive!"

Goku, "yeah. It was amazing to meet her."

Bardock, "well, what happened next?"

Goku, "We defeated men known as Zarbon, Dedoria, and the Ginyu Force."

Bardock, "no way! You all managed to kill men that would've pummeled me into dust when I was under Frieza's boot?"

Goku, "yeah. And, believe it or not, I was the one who took down Frieza."

Bardock was left speechless for a moment, "it was true!"

Goku, "what?"

Bardock, "when I was nearly killed by the explosion that destroyed Planet Vegeta, I had a vision. That you, my son, would defeat Frieza. Ever since then, I've had dreams of you, with golden hair, taking on that monster."

Goku, "golden hair?"

Bardock, "you looked just like the legend of the Super Saiyan."

Goku, "I, I did become one."

Bardock, "what?!"

Goku, "Frieza killed my best friend. He nearly killed Raditz and Piccolo. And he threatened to kill Gohan. It made me snap. Triggered the transformation."

Bardock, "my son…. Is the Legendary Super Saiyan?"

Goku, "apparently."

Bardock, "do…. Do you think you could train me to become one?"

Present day

Ever since then, Goku and his father had been training to get stronger. Goku felt like his father was on the brink of unlocking the transformation, but it would take time. But, it would have to happen soon. Since, in roughly eight months, they would head to Earth, and reunite with Goku's friends and family….

Jxcamacho04: glad you liked that cliffhanger. My plan is for it to be after Cell, where Paragus has found a way to take over Frieza's empire. When he sets his sights on Earth to get revenge on Vegeta for when his father tried to kill him and Broly, Broly doesn't want to hurt anybody. After he's able to break out of his father's control, he, along with Cheelai and Leemo, travel to Earth to find Goku and the others for help. Broly would have a Hulk x Black Widow type situation with Cheelai. The two are lovers, and she's the only one who can usually calm him down if he loses control.

PokemonFreak90: once I'm done with Cooler, we'll have some more chapters focusing on the characters spending time with one another for the remaining four months until Goku and Bardock head to Earth, and we begin the Android saga.

The next chapter will be about Cooler! At first, this chapter was gonna be Cooler, but I wanted to add a chapter in-between this with Raditz proposing, Maron revealing her pregnancy, finally giving a lemon to Tien and Launch, some more of Chi Cha and Dende, Gohan having a dream about Videl and Erasa, and a little peek on what's going on with Goku and Bardock, and what happened after they met.

Cooler will be set eight months after Namek, where Maron will be five months pregnant, so she will have her baby a little before Goku returns.
