Back in Acme Acres Ash, Cody, and Michael flew towards where their fellow Lanterns were fighting.
"there they are." Ash said spotting the other Lanterns.
"Thank goodness looks like they're alright." Michael said with a relieved smile.
Cody looked towards the two.
"come on let's land." he said.
after they landed Ash called out.
"hey guys." He said.
the other Lanterns turned to where the shout came from and smiled when they saw their three comrades and ran towards them.
"hey you three glad to see you guys are alright." Danny said.
"yeah we're glad to see that you guys are okay too." Cody said.
before anyone could say anything else Ash was suddenly tackled to the ground by pink, purple, and white blurs.
he sits up to see Babs Bunny, Fifi La Fume, and Shirley the Loon holding him close.
"hey Babs, Shirley it's good to see you two again." Ash said with a smile.
they said nothing as they held Ash close.
Cody smiled in amusement at the scene in front of him before clearing his throat.
"so was anyone hurt?" He asked.
Colleen answered.
"no worries gov'ner a few scrapes and bruises but other than that we're all okay." she said.
"and none of the citizens we're seriously hurt either we managed to get them to safety." Judy added.
Cody smiled in relief.
"that's good to hear." he said.
Danny turned to Cody.
"what happened to Daffy? it's pretty obvious from the disappearance of the constructs that you beat him." he questioned.
"yes we managed to beat him however he threw a flash bang construct at us and used the distraction to get away." Cody explained.
"i see so we we may encounter him again one of these days." Princess Celestia said.
Cody nodded.
"yes we will however he used to much power during his rampage and will need time to recover especially after sustaining so much damage from our battle so while we will see him again it won't be for a while." Cody said.
"so what should we do now?" Sonic asked.
Cody turned to him.
"the first thing we should do is tend to the injured as well as make sure no civilians were unaccounted for we should also contact some of the other heroes to see if they can help with rebuilding Acme Acres." Cody explained.
"sounds like a plan." Kitty said.
Cody nodded.
"alright follow me the sooner we get started the sooner we can stop the Black Lanterns." He said as he took off with the others following him.
unknown to our heroes their troubles are just beginning.
