As Izuku approached Hawks' hero agency, with his new costume in hand and Tokoyami walking with him, the first thing he did not expect was to be greeted by Hawks himself the second he was through the door.

"The changing room is right over there, get suited up so I can get a baseline on you two, yeah?" Hawks spoke with an easy tone, belying his confidence, although he still remained friendly towards the two boys.

Izuku noted the small amount of changes to his costume. His gloves and long socks were gone, replaced no show socks to fit underneath the simple shoes his costume came with. He really didn't even require shoes, since his feet were mostly metal anyways, but it was more the principle of the matter anyways.

The larger change would be to the back of the black and white shirts, where a small harness had been attached to the inside, with apertures leading to openings that had been made in the fabric to allow his wings and tail to extend out without tearing it. He could also tell the fabric was entirely replaced with a heat and fire resistant material, which would certainly be necessary now.

Looking over, he noted that the inside of Tokoyami's cloak was now white instead of black, and, while it wouldn't do so in the daytime, if Tokoyami had followed Izuku's advice, would softly glow in the dark, which he had thought might help with Tokoyami's struggles managing his quirk as it grew stronger and more wild in the dark.

As the two exited the room, Hawks lead them over to a training room before turning around to address the two of them.

"Now, Tokoyami, I sent you an offer because, us birds gotta stick together, ya know? We don't have exactly similar quirks, but I still feel like I should be able to show you decently what actual pro work is like, and train the quirk you do have reasonably well." Turning to Izuku he continued.

"Now, you, Midoriya, those wings were inspired by mine, weren't they?" Izuku nodded, since truthfully he was the entire reason he had fashioned the wings in the way he did. "Well? Let those babies out, I can't train you with them if I can't see them!"

Feeling around with the crystals on his back, he found the releases and pushed on them, feeling the apertures on the back of the costume open. His crystals whisked out of their container positions, interlocking into the familiar wings and tail with a series of soft clicks. Hawks paced around him, inspecting them from all angles.

"Man, I wish mine were as retractable as yours," Hawks stated, lightly flapping his wings a couple of times to accentuate his point, "these do make it difficult to get through doors sometimes. The crystal feathers detach, right?"

The hexagonal crystals forming the meat of the wings popped off of the framework above, and almost immediately seemingly vanished from sight.

"Cloaking too? Is there anything those crystals can't do?"

"Well, grow back, for one, and they're not as durable as your feathers or as strong, although they are quite sharp."

"So what you got is all you got? That's fair enough, we can work with that. I saw one of them got cut in half during the festival, I assume they can repair, if not regrow?" At Izuku's affirmative, Hawks settled into a fighting stance. "That's all I need to know. Both of you, show me what kind of control you have on those powers of yours."

Momo was not prepared for the first thing she saw as she walked into the hero agency she'd be interning at to be a paperback book sailing towards her face. She panicked and froze, leaving the hilt of Kuromu to extend up and block the book before it hit her. As it retracted into its sheathe, she ran her thumb down the hilt, in her small way of thanking the blade for its help.

"That was a good block, although I feel like it wasn't you who initiated it, was it?" a voice asked from within the room. Momo and Iida, who had accepted the same offer she had, stepped into the room towards the hero before him.

Turning his wheelchair slightly more towards the two students, the former-Pro Hero Ingenium, now simply Tensei Iida, regarded them.

After a few seconds, his face broke out into a kind smile, and he wheeled forwards towards Iida, who leaned down to give his brother the best hug he could, given the situation.

"I'm glad you trust me to train you to become the next Ingenium, Tenya. I won't let you down." Turning once more, he faced Momo. "As for you, Yaoyorozu, I assume you accepted my offer to help hone your speed, both physically and in your critical thinking under pressure?"

"Yes sir, that is exactly what I came to learn." The older Tensei gave her another of his kind smiles.

"You've come to exactly the right place, young lady. Go get suited up you two, and we can begin."
