I know I'm gonna get hate and death threats shoved up the ass for this, but I don't hate the new trilogy. But if I were rewriting it, is it any indication that I think it's perfect? Of course not! But what I'm doing here is reintroducing familiar elements but putting new spins on them. So try to keep an open mind here, okay?

31. Ch 28 Da Coda

Leia turns her attention to Rey. "And as for you, one of my scout squadrons found my brother's X-wing on a planet called Ach-To during the battle. I want you to go there." Rey has a look of surprise on her face. "I'm. I'm honored, General, but why me?" "Not only did I feel you battle Kylo Ren, but I still have a Resistance to lead."

Chewbacca then grumbles to Leia. "He's what?" Rey looks at Chewie then back to Leia. "Did he just tell you that Kylo's your son, Ben? Because it's true." "Yes… He did. I can't imagine he'd be the one responsible… I just hope you and Luke can find a way to defeat him."

"But… What about my parents? And the symbol they gave me?" "I'm sure one of the professors will figure it out by the time you get back."

She then pulls out her commlink. "Jaina? Prep the Falcon for flight. I need you and Chewie to deliver Rey to the coordinates I'm transmitting you. And send Threepio to me." Rey walks out of the room. "I'll leave for Ach-To at once."

Finn then points to himself. "What about me, ma'am?" "We can use your expertise on New Order tactics and doctrine." "Thank you, general." The Millennium Falcon then takes off into space, and engages its hyperdrive.
