Chapter 30

Weeks later, Benson Field...

And here they were. Standing and wait for the arrival of their opponents. The Guardians were armored up ready to go. There was a intense feeling in the air, and it certainly matched the weather. It was cloudy, a storm brewing for both reasons.

Ash: This is getting nerve wreaking.

Jack: Your telling me, what's taking them so long

Ish: Patients guys...be on your guard-

Troy: Hey! Look!

The watched as the three individuals walked forward. They saw Jack's Step Father, Bruno and a women walk forwards, behind them the Guardians twisted versions of themselves.

Dean: There they are...

Marty: Jess, is that her?

Jessica flinched a bit when she saw the women, but took a deep breathe as she took a step forward.

Jessica: Well, it's been awhile...Ms. Cinzana.

The Guardians looked at the women that Jessica just addressed.

Cinzana: Well, if it isn't the one who threw me in jail.

Jessica: Your the one who tired and kill me.

Cinzana: However, i did not come here to talk...no, someone else did.

Both Bruno and Jack's Step father looked confused as did the Guardians. Cinzana lifted her hand as a ring she was wearing glowed, dark armor forming around her but her face. Her eyes went dark as she laughed evily.

Hunter: What the hey...

Troy: What did she just do?

Cinzana: Well...what do you all think. This is so much more fitting, speaking of which.

She waved her hand and armor of the same darkness was formed on them.

Bruno: I have no idea what you just did, but i like this.

Ricky: WHAT DID YOU JUST DO!?

Cinzana: Simple, I made things more interesting. Did you really think Endgame came up with most of these ideas.

Joseph: What the hey are you talking a-

Jessica: You...You were the one who was sending those twisted Rusherz! You are the one who's been tormenting them for months!

Cinzana: Clever girl...Yes, that was me. Of course, to make sure we had your versions help, we needed a certain gauntlet to keep them from glitching.

Kristie: The one Toro ripped off of Warren.

Bruno: Bingo!

Step Father: Are we just going to talk or can i finally kill those two.

Cinzana: Of course, Twisted Guardians...

They turned to her as they armored up, their armor being spiked, corrupted and broken.

Cinzana: A group for each of us...now then.

Cinzana gave a word, and Jack's step father lungded at Jack before Juniper pushed herself and Jack out of the way. Bruno smirked as he charged at Joseph, Krisite, Troy, Joseph and Tua. Dean, Layla, Ricky and Amara turned on defense blocking the charging Bruno and their twisted version. Ish, Ash, Jessica, Marty and Arron were left to face their versions and Cinzana.

Cinzana: Well Guardians, let the fun begin!

There versions charged at them, as they started to battle

Ish: Jess! Game plan!

Jessica: Right! Jack and Juniper should be able to dodge their versions long enough to do the tackle form the Patriots/Bangels game back in the 2001 season.

Ash flinched.

Ash: You mean-that's going to hurt.

Marty dodge a fist from his version.

Marty: Better than letting him win!

Jessica: As for going against Bruno, it believe the gameplays from the Ice bowl would be a huge help there.

Arron ducked as he kicked his twisted version back a bit.

Arron: How did find out what plays were use in-

Ash: As much as i want to know too, we don't have time right now.

Marty: And us?

Jessica: Let's give our version our take of the Hit Heard Round the World.

Marty: Have i told you that you are amazing.

Jessica pushed back her version with her sword. She closed her eyes sending the plays to the others. Jack and Juniper were dodging their version when they got the message.

Jack: You got that Jun?

Juniper: Yep...better get fired up babe.

Jack did as his suit was in flames. Juniper created two doppelgangers of herself as they now battle the two twisted versions. Jack and Juniper snuck around the sides before slamming themselves into Jack's Step father. He fell back as he wiped his mouth of blood.

Step Father: Son of a-

Jack: That's for making my life a nightmare.

Jack's step father was soon met with Juniper's foot as he fell to the ground.

Juniper: And that is for messing with my Boyfriend.

As their twisted versions found them and they returned to battle, the group battling Bruno soon got the play.

Tua: Whoa...that's an old play there.

Troy speed back over.

Troy: Well, it's the best one there so...

Troy formed his sax and blew hard, stunning the twisted versions. Ricky armor formed Ice around it as he froze the part of the field they were on, Amara and Layla blending into the environment and Layla quickly went to Bruno and roundhouse him. Layla then upper cut him. Joseph sent a whirlwind with Kristie hitting some explosion balls inside, before Joseph sent it flying to Bruno hitting him as bursts hit him in various places. Bruno yelled as he was about to send blasts to the other guardians before Dean roared at his direction, stunning him in place before Tua after charging through the sound wave and ice grabbed Bruno, not letting go.

Bruno: SON OF A-LET ME GO YOU GORILLA!

Amara: Hush you!

Amara kicked her version away as the group returned to battle. Cinzana snarled.

Cinzana: You little brats.

She watched as Ish, Ash, Arron, Marty and Jessica attacked their counter parts. Marty sent a sound wave from his fist stunning his and Arron's versions before Ish's and Ash's versions sent blasts to them. Arron formed a bubble around them as he kicked the two versions away. Ash formed a ball in her hands as she threw it in the air and kicks it, hitting the groans as it exploded and knocked the twisted versions back. Ish screamed a battle cry as he tackled the twisted group, shocking them to submission. As they groups merged into one to Cinzana, they were stopped when they saw something...dark.

Layla: What is she-

Cinzana laughed manically...the negative energy surrounding her. It soon covered her as when it cleared-

Jack: WHAT THE HEY IS THAT THING!?

Cinzana was now a beastly armored being, distorted glicthy and now feral. The Guardians were left speechless and horrified at the same time.

Tua: Uhhh...that is new.

Arron: Did-did the others say that this would happen?

Kristie: No...I-I don't they mentioned that doing something like this to a human.

Ish: Guys...I don't think she is human anymore.

Cinzana screeched as roar before sending the others flying to the side hitting the wall and de-morphing.

Troy: *Grunts* Nope...not human.

Marty: Does anyone have any ideas on how to defeat that thing?!

Cinzana growled and looked at Jack's Step father, chuckling before sending him flying out of the field. Bruno watched in horror as he ran out of the stadium, dropping the gauntlet. Cinzana picked it up and placed it one herself.

Jack: ARE YOU KIDDING ME!

The Guardians tried to get up, but Cinzana turned to them and they froze. She opened her mawed mouth as a fire ball formed.

Ash: I-Ish-

Kristie: Oh no...

Ish and the others looked on in horror as the fireball was sent their way. They closed their eyes bracing for what could be their final moments...but nothing came. Ish slowly blinked his eyes opened and was speechless.

Marty: Is it over?

Ish: Not yet!

The others opened their eyes and their mouths dropped at the shield surrounding them. Cinzana stopped and looked up and did the Guardians. Standing on top of the stadium, were thirty one Rusherz, anger and determination in their eyes.

Liberty: Our turn..

With a battle cry, they lept onto the ground attacking the monstrous being with their attacks. Cinzana was both surprised and shock at this and she was not the only one.

Cinzana *Endgame's Voice*: WHAT ARE YOU DOING-STOP IT YOU IDIOTS!

Stampede: NEVER!

Stampede, Toro and Rampage rammed the beast back a few feet back. The air Rusherz sent screeches that caused Cinzana to scream in anger and hurt. Soar sent his own raining down on her.

Cinzana *Endgame's Voice*: DANG IT!

A few Rusherz ran over to the Guardians.

Lasso: Thank goodness you kids are alright.

Hunter: How did you-when did you-

Beast: Liberty kept an eye on you guys when you started training for the final battle. When we all saw what happened we had to take action.

Dean: You guys were right on time!

Alto: We need to take that thing down before it gets loss in Canton.

Troy: I have an idea, but we'll going to need our teams Rusherz for the Job.

Ish nodded. But he then remembered what happened to Bolt.

Bolt: I-I'm not standing here watching that things hurt my friends.

They turned to see Bolt wheel his way in.

Peck: BOLT!?

Bolt: I-I done some pretty bad things this season, but-

Ish placed a hand on his shoulder.

Ish: We'll do it together.

Bolt nodded as Ish and the others armored up. The each went to their favorite team Rusher, holding hands. Sparks of energy were forming around them. The Rusherz closed their eyes.

K-9 thoughts: I AM NOT A FAILURE.

Beast thoughts: I CAN PROTECT THE ONES I LOVE.

Freedom thoughts: I'M A WINNER IN MY OWN WAY, NOT ANOTHER.

Blow-Torch's thoughts: I CAN CONTORL THE ANGER, I CAN HELP.

Lasso's thoughts: OUR HARD WORK IS NOTICED.

Grizzly's thoughts: I CAN STOP THE ANGER AND PAIN.

Peck's thoughts: I WILL NEVER FORGET THEIR SACRIFICES ON AND OFF THE FIELD.

Swoop's thoughts: I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU GUYS, NEVER.

Spot's thoughts: I AM NOT WEAK, AND NEITHER IS MY FAMILY.

Claw's thoughts: I'LL KEEP FIGHTING, MY HEART WILL KEEP BEATING

Peg-Leg's thoughts: LASS, YOU GAVE ME THE STRENGTH TO KEEP GOING. I'LL ALWAYS BE HERE.

The Rusherz smiled as both Guardians and Rusherz were lifted to the air.

Guardians thought (minus Ish): WE WILL NEVER GIVE UP, WE WILL ALWAYS PROTECT OUR FRIENDS.

Ish held Bolt's hand, Bolt looking at Ish.

Bolt: Ish, I'm so sorry for not protecting you those three times.

Ish: Bolt, it's not your fault...i know you were doing you hardest to protect us, but now...let us help you.

Bolt eyes filled with tears as a aura formed around the Guardians and Rusherz. Cinzana stopped fighting the others Rusherz and turned in shock. The other Rusherz looked up to see them glowing and in the air.

The Guardians Parents and RZ watched form the screen in awe. RZ was to as he never seen such power like this before. A power that was equal to the core, a power that balances both negative and positive energies...a power of both Guardian and Rusher.

Cinzana *Endgame's Voice*: N-No-NONONONO NO NO!

The Guardians looked straight at Endgame.

Guardians: ENDGAME, THIS IS YOU FINAL SECONDS OF THE GAME. IT'S TIME TO TAKE A KNEE!

The Guardians and Rusherz lunged forward into a tackle position, straight into Cinzana chest as explosion of energy sparked around her.

Cinzana *Endgame's Voice*: NO! NO! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The field turned into a blinding light...and the beast was no more..

Joseph! Joseph! Joseph wake up please!

Joseph groaned as he opened his eyes to see Swoop over him, tears in his eyes.

Joseph: S-Swoop?

Swoop tackled him into a hug sobbing in relief. Joseph soon hugged him back. He saw Kristie get up as Lasso helped her.

Lasso: Kristie, are you alright?

Kristie: Y-Yes, i am. You.

Lasso: I'm fine too.

Peck was sobbing in relief as well into Ricky who was calming the Cardinal down.

Ricky: I'm fine Peck, we're all fine.

Grizzly looked around to find Tua shaking his head a bot dazed, Grizzly running over checking to see if he was alright.

Tua: Well, that was a light show there.

Alto: Are you sure you are alright?

The two turned to see Alto doing checks all over Troy, who was chuckling.

Troy: I'm fine Alto I really am, just got some dust on me.

Alto sighed before Troy pulled him over making him laugh too. Juniper, Arron and Ash were talking to eachother when Ash was tackled into a hug by Freedom, who also brought Juniper and Arron into it as they laughed.

Freedom: That was an experience!

Juniper: I know! I had no idea we could do that!

Arron: We have to make sure we keep that in mind the next time we faced an unholy abomination like that again.

Ash: We did great!

Claw, Beast and Spot ran over to Fang as they hugged eachother in relief along with Amara, Dean and Layla.

Fang: Thank goodness you guys are alright.

Layla: It's going to take a lot more than that to stop us.

Claw: Of course! You guys were great out their against you versions.

Amara: We learn from the best.

Spot: Of course!

Beast ruffled Spot's head.

Dean: Well, i must say that was mission accomplished.

Beast: Indeed it is.

K-9 and Marty went over to Jessica and Peg-Leg, the former staring at the sky.

Marty: Jess, are you alright?

Jessica started to chuckle, then bursted into laughs and tears as she smiled. Peg-Leg, K-9 and Marty brought her into a warm hug.

K-9: Shhh, it's alright.

Peg-leg: You done a marvelous job Jessi

Jessica nodded as she wiped her tears. Blow-Torch looked around until he saw Jack getting up, before jumping on him in a hug.

Blow-Torch: Thank goodness your alright!

Jack: It's going to take a lot more that a freak like that to stop me..hey, where are Ish and Bolt?

The groups looked around before spotting Ish, holding Bolt in his arms and he breathed in exhaustion. They quickly ran over, worry on their faces.

Pillage: I-Is he...

Ish: He's alright, just-tired.

Bolt moaned as he slowly opened his eyes to see everyone surrounding him.

Bolt: Did-did we win..

Ish felt tears in his eyes as he smiled, holding Bolt-his first ever friend, in his arms.

Ish: Yes, we sis Bolt. We won.
