Grande St. Leger- District One male (18)

Bacchus wanted us to run. I could make some guesses at his plan, but that wasn't important. The question was whether we would follow it. Really, it all came down to Elissa. She was the point woman in our original plan. She was the one who was supposed to run into the Cornucopia and start securing weapons.

The gong sounded. Elissa jumped off the platform. She bolted for the westward door leading into the coliseum structure.

Funny thing about psychology. It's not the first person to follow a leader that spurs the group to follow. It's the second. People see two people follow a leader and herd mentality takes over. I ran after Elissa. In a normal situation it might not have worked. Everyone knew Elissa and I were a team. But in the chaos it was enough. The rest of the allies followed and Bacchus became our leader.

Mary Sue Brooklyn- District Twelve female (18)

Luck was with me. Vibrant was two platforms over. I saw a shiny bow and arrow peeking out of the Cornucopia and ran in. Of course I wanted a long-range weapon. I could pick off my enemies before they even saw me!

Another girl darted in and grabbed the bow. She shot me before I hardly saw her.

Beth O'Darielle- District Twelve female (16)

I had the best of both worlds. I wanted to kill people and at the same time was weak enough compared to the Careers that they'd leave me alone. As long as I didn't get in anyone's way they wouldn't come after me. I could nip in, grab just one little knife, and leave. One of them might kill me just because they happened to lock eyes with me, but that was a chance I'd take. You have to live a little.

I nipped in and snatched up a little hunting knife. As I wrapped my fingers around it a foot slammed down on my hand. I looked up and saw some girl I didn't even recognize. She held a mace.

Essie Cipher- District One female (18)

Note to self: don't go up to the high rows. I'd feel like an idiot falling off something twice. But first things first, I needed stuff from the Bloodbath. I'd even throw Lulu a bone and try to take anything dissection-related I found.

The big alliances were already moving in. It was hard to tell everyone apart, but I definitely saw Arielle and her gang spreading throughout the Cornucopia. I cut my losses and went for a spear off to one side.

Chantal and I bounced off each other as we collided. I sat up to jump at her and saw she'd brought a friend. Karyssa and Chantal pinned me between them and Karyssa held my arms as Chantal picked up the spear. I spat at her as she did it. She couldn't even make her own kill.

Daffodil Starshine- District Eleven female (16)

"Daffodil!"

Myrian came rocketing toward me as I ran for cover. I grabbed his hand and we more or less each pulled the other forward until we got to the door.

Emorte appeared through the doorway running after us. Myrian and I shared a glance and came to an agreement. I shut the door while Emorte ran to find something to block it. We'd made it through the Bloodbath. We'd try to find Koa, but Emorte was on his own.

Axe Cornel- District Four male (18)

They couldn't get all of us. I'd just get a sword and get out of there. Maybe kill a few people on the way out, but we'd see what happened. I aimed for the one lying by Victory, who was busy firing arrows.

As I got near Victory I heard someone running up alongside me. Jynx knocked into my side and stomped my stomach when I fell. I was big enough it only made me angrier, but it did keep me down long enough for him to stomp again, this time on my head. As my ears were still ringing he slashed his sword across my throat. Ninety Tributes and I didn't get to kill a single one.

Steven Kraft- District Four male (18)

The girls were taking over the Cornucopia. Let them have their little victory. They'd fall apart in two days. People like me would be there to mop up their mess.

I did want a weapon, though. I ran in diagonally towards the Cornucopia to snipe a sword laying near the edge. As I ran off something bounced off the back of my head and knocked me down. I rolled over and saw Margo and Valerie standing over me. And what had they thrown? A frying pan. Just like a girl.

Arielle Ermin- District Four female (18)

I reached the Cornucopia unharmed and my allies started taking their places, fanning out in pairs behind any cover we could find. I looked back and forth for Grande's alliance and didn't see a single one. Then I looked farther and saw a dozen figures fleeing into the distance.

What? How did we win? There wasn't even a fight. It came to me like lightning.

"Long-range! Put everything on the runners! Short-range, give them cover!" I screamed.

All around me my allies flew into motion. Victory and Tuesday started rapid-firing arrows while their short-range battle partners rallied to their sides to defend them. Bacchus wanted us to get decimated taking the Cornucopia. Smart, but it involved a huge risk. He and his allies had to cross nearly two acres of open land to reach cover. Two could play at this game.

Lucretius Marlo- District Four male (18)

I was being strangled by a nearly naked woman. The back of my head was almost nestled between her breasts. I may have been thrashing and terrified, and also gay, but it still crossed my mind that some people paid extra for this.

Bilial Diriye- District Two male (18)

It was humiliating to run away. All my allies started doing it so I followed, but it was really embarrassing. Then I took an arrow through the shoulder and started running faster.

I should have run faster earlier. Another arrow followed, this one through my chest. I went to inhale and felt my lung sort of shudder around the arrow. I toppled to the ground and blood oozed up into my mouth. This wasn't even something to really be ashamed about. Dozens of people were running across an open stretch of land. It was just a roll of the dice.

Ruby Lalonde- District One female (18)

I just wanted to get out. There were eighty Careers and I was the only one with no combat experience. Even the outliers had more than I did.

My allies were divided. Some of us were darting into the edges of the Cornucopia to get supplies while others had cut and run. I saw Siren and Seychelle running for the southern door and ran after them.

I was halfway there when I saw Emorte going for the same door. He saw me and turned to head me off. He saw that I didn't have a weapon and I saw the decision flash in his head. I turned and started running for a different door, but the distance was too short between us for me to get momentum. He caught me by the shirt and stuck his knife between my ribs. He stabbed me again, dropped me, and ran for the door. I never really had a chance in this. I spent ten years training for this and never once did they give me a normal chance.

Miall Piscot- District One male (18)

Priscilla and I ran across the open dirt to the westward door. She was right behind me and Jess and Diamonique were ahead of us, while some of us had already made it to safety.

It was such a small exhalation of breath. I looked behind me and saw Priscilla crawling after me with an arrow through her back. I turned around and ran to her. I started to pick her up and the first arrow hit my more followed, hitting me in the chest. Priscilla slid to the ground and I fell partly covering her. She took my hand.

Priscilla Piscot- District One female (18)

I tried to be quiet so Miall wouldn't hear. It was the smallest exhalation of breath. He came back as I tried to wave him off. He picked me up so easily. He could have run with me if they hadn't gotten to him. We would both die now, just like Miall always knew. But I knew just as well that I wouldn't stop trying. They say where there's life there's hope. For a Resurrection Tribute, even death doesn't stop hope.

Shogo Hara- District Four male (18)

I didn't even see the man who stabbed me. I was running away and we must have been too close together, because he slashed me open and kept running. It didn't matter, of course. I was dying and placing blame didn't make a difference. Someone said once that you haven't lived until you've fought a bull, written a novel, and had a son. I never fought a bull but being a Career certainly had to count. I wasn't much of a writer, but none of that compared to having a son. I fathered a son and lived to see him become a man. I wasn't always there for him but I was blessed to see he was loved in my absence. He would have a better life than me and I was glad.

Mahi Katao- District Four male (18)

None of that stuff was for me. I was more of a hands-on fighter. Except right now I was a feet-on runner hoping that no one aimed for a very large target. All the way to the door I didn't see a single arrow come in my direction. Maybe my fat butt just looked so funny running no one wanted to ruin it.

I flew through a door set into an unassuming section of the wall and barreled into a girl, knocking her flat while I continued and smacked into the wall. Another girl came into view and helped her up. We looked at each other and I saw it was the pretty girl from One and her Four ally. None of us wanted to move, each afraid of setting off a fight. But the Arena makes strange bedfellows.

"Hey," I said. "I'm Mahi. Sorry I knocked you over."

Cormac Abrams- District Two male (18)

No one could prepare us for how eighty people looked when they flew en masse toward or away from a Cornucopia that could fit maybe ten people side-by-side. Bodies were everywhere- running, tripping, fighting, dying, bleeding. Arrows flecked the sky. The sound of metal slicing through the air droned in my ears.

Then, through it all, I saw Siobhan, her dark skin shining in the sun. She saw me and her eyes lit up. What a thing to think about at that moment, but I remembered why I'd fallen in love with her.

Siobhan Harrigan- District Two female (18)

In all the chaos I finally saw Cormac. I'd run in to grab a backpack even though I knew he would have said not to. I just couldn't bear to be a Career with no supplies at all. Not with so many others coming for us. I saw Cormac and started running toward him. There was a door behind him. We could hide out and make a plan.

It was too late when I saw it. I kept running but it was too late. Cormac was looking at me. Then a spear bloomed in his eye. Everyone I ever had was gone.

Sagar Dewpont- District Two male (18)

Maybe the interior of the Cornucopia wasn't a good idea. But there were a few weapons scattered nearer the platforms. I set my sights on a sword lying halfway in.

Jessie and Fable met me as I picked it up. Two on one didn't scare me. I slashed out as soon as I saw them and Fable yelped at the cut on her arm. I slashed again and Fable stepped inside the blow to block it and grab my arm. Jessie circled around me and pulled me down from behind. She pinned me with her knees on my shoulders as Fable snaked her grip around one of my fingers and snapped it. At the flash of pain she wrested the sword from my grip and leaned down into the blow to nearly sever my head. After my first time in the Arena, it was something of a letdown.

Fable Anders- District One female (18)

As my sword met Sagar's throat Jessie toppled forward. I felt a flash of panic, convinced for an instant that I'd had a psychotic break and stabbed her instead. But it was a spear that was lodged in her side. I looked around and saw Atalanta looking at her handiwork.

I just needed to defend Jessie for the length of the Bloodbath. Then we could use our medical supplies to save her. I stood over her and took on a defensive stance. Atalanta made no move to attack, instead running toward another spear in the other direction. As I was fighting the urge to give chase a sharp pain bloomed in my side. I fell to one knee and felt behind me, yanking out the shallowly-buried throwing knife. I turned to see my attacker and took Caio's second knife in the side of my throat.

Jessie Cabello- District Two female (18)

Fable was lying side-by-side with me, her neck slicked with blood. She took my hand as she laboriously drew in a breath

"You deserved better," she said.

"But I'm never going to get it, am I?" I asked. Nothing in my life had convinced me that things could ever be better.

Fable started to cry and I softened. "I'm glad you were my friend," I said. Her hand grew cold in mine, and mine in hers.

Stormy Gilmore- District Four female (18)

Our little Career pack was not in the big leagues. Matrix and I watched each other's backs as we darted around the interior rim of the platforms picking up the small-potatoes items. I shoved random things into the fanny pack I'd gotten. A sewing kit. A can of peas. A multitool. A weird canteen made of sheepskin or something that I slung over my shoulder.

There was a lull in the noise and Matrix and I saw the writing on the wall. A break in deaths meant a lot of people had died. That meant the survivors were more likely to notice us. We took what we had and fled.

Chantal Ivingin- District One female (18)

As a spear user I could also be a javelin user. That made me one of the long-range partners in our battle pairings. Alex watched my back as I rained metal on our fleeing enemies. I watched with satisfaction as my latest missile took down a girl halfway to safety.

Pain knifed through me as a speartip jutted from my chest. I looked behind me to see Alex pulling a throwing knife out of her calf and Atalanta running in to retrieve her weapon. She stepped on my back to give her leverage and yanked it out. We held the Cornucopia, but the Games weren't over yet. Our enemies had a few tricks of their own.

Troy Cahill- District Two male (18)

"Just go!" I screamed as Patrick tried to help me hobble toward the door. Eren had gotten me good as we tussled over an axe. Even if I got to safety there was no guarantee I'd live. And if Patrick didn't get moving he might die to.

"No!" Patrick said, still pulling me along.

"You can't save everyone!" I pleaded. Patrick looked like I'd slapped him. I saw the indecision on his face and sealed the deal. I went limp and shut my eyes. Patrick shook me a few times and then I felt his hands leave me. I opened my eye a crack and saw him running for the door. It didn't take long before faking death became actual death.

Hadrian Cato- District Two male (18)

I didn't need a weapon to kill people. There wasn't much at the edge of the platforms, but there was a heavy metal first aid kit. I threw it like a discus at a boy from Four as he tried to flee. It bounced off his head and knocked him flat. Before he could get up I was stomping him.

As I felt his skull crack under me, someone hit me from behind. A mace smashed into my ribs and I toppled onto the fallen boy, gasping for breath and with throbbing ribs. I turned over and saw Polaris coming in for the death blow. I didn't know he cared that much. Must be nice to have a friend like that.

Swift Flasher- District Four male (18)

Audrey probably wouldn't want me the way I looked. My head was all in pieces. I was dimly aware of Polaris running off and hoped he made it. Maybe I'd get another chance, even though I died in the Bloodbath. There was always hope.

Ice Wakai- District Four female (14)

I had to go in. The bag of throwing stars was right there. It was so close. I ran for it, winding around another Tribute as he ran for whatever he was running for. I snatched it up and grabbed the things lying near it: a penknife and a roll of tape.

Kim was running toward me. She ran across the stream of thronging Tributes like a shark moved through a school of fish. I smiled and waved.

Rex cut her down like grass.

My grip went slack as I stared at Kim's body. It was like a wave on a sandcastle. She hadn't even been able to fight. I saw then in an instant that I was totally, utterly outmatched. I stood up and fled.

Kim McAuckswatch- District Four female (16)

Ice was running. I was glad for that. She had never admitted how far over our heads we were. It took seeing me die to see it. I wasn't happy I was dying but at least something good came out of it. I always wanted to inspire people. I just might have inspired Ice to live. And I certainly inspired people not to volunteer.

Roderick Caspitian- District One male (18)

Eliora never even saw me in the Bloodbath. It was Ember who killed me. She probably didn't even know my name. She didn't kill me out of any vengeance. She just got to the knife before I did. There was something comforting in the knowledge that she had treated me the same way she would have treated anyone else. And dying in the Bloodbath had to pay for my first Games. If I came back I'd have a clean slate. I looked forward to it.

Jayden Chadsey- District One female (18)

There was no time to put my bra back on in the heat of battle. I defended my assigned partner- Valerian- as she fired throwing knives at Bacchus' fleeing alliance and I did it shirtless. Everyone looked so vulnerable in their outfits it almost made me feel protective. Dead bodies of boys and girls were strewn about with their soft stomachs and unprotected limbs lying sticky with blood. I had nothing to be ashamed of, because in all of that, no one was looking at me.

Jynx Susurrus- District One male (18)

Victory and the other long-range fighters were the keystone of our alliance. The more enemies they could kill before they reached safety, the stronger our position. We controlled the weapons and we would control the Games.

Of course it would happen. As I shoved my knife into Elver, who was trying to attack Victory, someone attacked me. Siren's spear slid into my leg and it gave out under me. Victory heard the noise and turned to aim a shot at Siren, who ducked as she stabbed me again just above the hip. She fled as Victory ran to put pressure on it.

Too late, I thought as blood fountained from two wounds. Three destinies I'd walked and they all had the same end.

Victory Amarinthine- District One female (18)

Of course it would happen. While I was trying to staunch the blood from Jynx's wounds, the throwing knife hit me in the back.

"They got you, didn't they?" Jynx asked, smiling painfully as blood flecked his lips.

"Every time," I said. It was just in our stars. We were destined to be together. But to be dead together. Once I was second place. How the mighty have fallen.

Nimini Dolores- District One female (18)

If I panicked I would die. That cold truth kept me grounded as the gong sounded. I ran from behind the Cornucopia toward the stone wall. Instead of going into the door I ran up into the aisles. No one was going that way because it was exposed and open. But if I made it up while everyone was busy and I was blocked from sight by the Cornucopia I'd be safe and have high ground. Either I'd find weapons up there or I'd die. That was life in the Games.

Mahi Arapaima- District Four male (18)

I fought for my life as Elver stood over me stabbing downward with his sword. All I had to defend myself was a hunting knife. I stabbed it into his foot and wound myself around his legs to make sure he fell. He'd already gotten a good blow on my hip and I didn't know if I could run anyway. I rolled over onto him and grabbed his sword by the blade as he tried to stab it into my face. He yanked it sideways and opened a deep trench down my forearm and wrist. I brought my knee up into his chest and stabbed down at his heart. He blocked me with his forearm and we strained against each other. I cranked my neck and bit his arm. In the instant he was startled I put all my weight down on the knife and it shot down into his throat.

I tried to stand and realized it was too late. My blood was puddling all over Elver and I didn't have the strength to get to my feet. It was like my brain was slowly losing connection to my body. I lay beside him and we regarded each other as we lay dying.

Elver Darlin- District Four male (18)

Mahi was a boy from Four just like me. We might have been friends. Instead we both chose this and we both lay dying. I'd never thought about how young I was until I saw a boy not even done growing dying by my side. I wasn't even a man either. We were kids, all of us. They said we were warriors but we were only children.

Diamonique Gemmin- District One female (17)

Jess and I ran through the door and found Elissa, Grande and Kodiak waiting for us. Kodiak yelled in happiness and ran to hug Jess.

"Where's everyone else?" I asked.

Coco ran through the door, followed by Yuuto. Elissa peeked out.

"There's Maris," she said. Then she gasped.

Maris Calder- District Four female (18)

I could still make it. The arrow only hit my shoulder. I kept running, wincing at the jarring pain with every step.

The next one hit my leg. It buckled under me and I forced myself back up. I was sixty feet from safety. I wouldn't give up.

Another arrow hit the same leg. When I tried to stand I couldn't. I started crawling toward the door. I could see Elissa in it, pulling for me but unable to risk helping. Careers may be allies but we don't risk our lives.

If it had been a matter of endurance I would have made it. But the next arrow was fatal.

Warf Pollman- District Four male (18)

The two-pronged spear was placed there just for me. No one else I knew used a spear like that. And in an Arena like this? It was fate. I would be just like the real gladiators.

Rex picked up his sword just as I picked up my spear. There was an instant of tension like the smell of lightning before it strikes. Neither of us could risk turning our backs. We went in.

Hoping to do something unexpected, I swung the spear like a bat. It cracked off Rex's hand audibly and he winced. All the same, he had the fortitude to slash at my face. When I arched my back away from the strike he turned it downward and scored a shallow cut down my front. He charged in, taking my spear to his arm in order to get close. He knocked me backwards and as I fell he stuck his sword through my chest. He stabbed again to make sure, then fled. I wasn't used to people being better than me. I had to hand it to him.

Eren Lindell- District Four female (18)

I had to get to cover. I was a lone Tribute in a sea of massive alliances. I'd already seen teams fleeing into each of the doors. Wherever I went I risked meeting a blade as soon as I passed the threshold. The only way to go was up.

Sounds of fighting and dying surrounded me as I neared the ring of platforms on my way out. A hand shot out and grabbed my axe. I held on and was lifted off the ground, which told me immediately who had grabbed me and how much trouble I was in. Floki threw the spear with me still attached and I landed hard across a platform, bruising my neck and ribs. He cocked a knee and threw all his weight down onto it. My back, bent against the platform, snapped like eggshells. He stomped again, more out of mercy than anything else, and I felt my insides rupture, though I didn't really feel any pain. In the moments it took to die, I felt the dirt on my cheek as I slid off the platform. It felt like the sands of home.

Desiree Redwood- District Seven female (18)

"How we looking?"

The Bloodbath was over. Bodies lay strewn from one side of the ring of platforms to the other. Some of our own were patching wounds, like Jayden and Tuesday.

"We lost Chantal, Jynx, Mahi, and Victory," Arielle said.

"Fable and Jessie too," Valerian said as she walked up. She pointed. "They're over there."

"We took down at least a few of them, too," Arielle said. "And the Cornucopia is ours."

Amphilia looked at the supplies and said what we were all thinking. "Hope it was worth it."

90th place (I just counted again) Mary Sue Brooklyn- Shot by Tuesday

Wow, first blood from Tuesday. Mostly because only a few people use bows. Anyway, I have to respect tradition. BTW if Mary Sue and Miller were in a Games together the top spot goes to Miller because he is even worse than Mary Sue. I assume whoever nominated Mary Sue wanted to see her die in the Bloodbath again. Here you go.

89th place: Beth O'Darielle- Maced by Undine

Yup, Undine got her. No one wanted Beth to win so she was an obvious Bloodbath pick and I gave Undine the honor since she never got to in her original Games. She shall be missed... not.

88th place: Essie Cipher- stabbed by Chantal

There are so many people that anyone I don't think has a solid chance of winning got killed here, Essie being one of the first. I didn't need a hardcore killer in an Arena full of them. So I killed her and I don't think anyone will miss her.

87th place: Ax Cornel- Throat slashed by Jynx

Another one who wasn't going to win. Bullies can be useful but I didn't need one here and had to trim the fat.

86th place: Steven Kraft- For you statistics-keepers, Valerie struck the killing blow

Another one with little room for character development so I showed him the door.

85th place: Lucretius Marlo- strangled by Jayden.

The Braston Strangler strikes again. Lucretius and Kieron were both gentler Careers. I picked one to keep and since Kieron's story never got to the Arena I decided to give it to him.

84th place: Bilial Diriye- shot by Victory

I am totally open to review submissions but there were just so many people I had to kill a lot and he fell in there. Sorry Bilial never really got a Games.

83rd place: Ruby Lalonde- Stabbed by Emorte

Ruby got screwed by the Gamemakers. She never got the battle experience everyone else did and was targeted from the beginning. I didn't see much of a following specifically for her so I killed her.

82nd place: Miall Piscot- Shot by Victory and Tuesday

The Piscots are so old they don't have much following. Usually I'd write them because there's always a chance but this time I have to conserve creativity a little and I killed anyone I didn't think had a real shot. I like Miall even though he never had a big form. He became a person anyway and I'll miss him.

81st place: Priscilla Piscot- Shot by Victory and Tuesday

Priscilla is one of my more favored Tributes. I think she has a lot more in her and I'd like to see her again. I just decided it wasn't happening this time. Next time is another story.

80th place: Shogo Hara- stabbed by Alsace

Shogo is one of the OGs. He was in my second story, making him the oldest submission in this Games. He's stayed so popular so long because he's such a good character. Personally I think his chance passed him by, but I'll always be ready to try again. Kanu is another fan favorite and it's been emotional to see them grow and both come to terms with what life dealt them.

79th place: Cormac Abrams- Speared by Stormy

Last time Siobhan died first so this time I decided to see what would happen if Cormac died. Now that Sean is safe and loved there's not as much at stake for them. All the same we'll see how Siobhan does and I'll be happy if she wins.

78th place: Sagar Dewpont-stabbed by Fable

Sagar wasn't going to be the fan pick to win so I killed him. Since he made it so far last time I felt okay killing him in the Bloodbath. He was a strong Career but he was just plain in a really strong group.

77th place: Jessie Cabello- Speared by Atalanta

Jessie and Fable both died for the same reason: they're the only Tributes I nominated. Since they weren't reader picks I would have felt bad killing them unless they were super duper popular. They were just average so I killed them both. I'm sorry they didn't get more support since I wasn't planning to have so much between them about Jessie's past trauma. Oh well, maybe next time.

76th place: Fable Anders- Throwing star thrown by Caio

Same reason as Jessie. It's a pity because Fable has gotten to second place before, but there's just so many people. Not everyone is going to get a complete story. We'll see if they get nominated next time.

75th place: Chantal Ivingin- Speared by Atalanta

Chantal always puts up a good show. I killed her just because she's so old she doesn't have much fanbase and it's unlikely she'd be the final fan pick. It's nothing to do with her abilities and everything to due with pragmatism and my desire to drastically lower the numbers so the survivors get more focus.

74th place: Troy Cahill- Blood loss from Eren's axe

Jayman has been here a long time and knows the ropes. I always go through his submissions and earmark the ones I know he favors (that's not just for him, btw. I do that for any submitter who indicates a favorite and there are other submitters in this story). Patrick has a much better chance so I killed Troy. I might still kill Patrick but I can at least boost his odds by killing Troy first.

73rd place: Hadrian Cato- Maced by Polaris

Polaris does NOT in fact care that much. He just saw a chance to eliminate a competitor. Hadrian was a bully ergo he wouldn't win ergo I killed him. I can't waste writing space on non-winners this time.

72nd place: Swift Flasher- Stomped to death by Hadrian

I had a few funny Careers. I had to be ruthless and pick a few. I picked Swift to die not really for any reason. I just needed more deaths. For what it's worth, I did check over my list to make sure I killed roughly the same amount of canon foreigners and regulars. This is the first time I think a foreigner could win. Not Swift though he dead.

71st place: Kim McAuckswatch- Stabbed by Rex

Kim was outmatched and didn't have the power to battle her way to the top of 90 Careers. Since she was going to die anyway I did it in the Bloodbath to spur a sobering realization in Ice, who will change her whole strategy based on what she saw.

70th place: Roderick Caspitian- Stabbed by Ember

This is actually the one I feel bad about. Roderick became a villain of memetic proportions for doing what any Career would do. I totally didn't kill him because of that and am sorry he never got a real story. I just killed him because he wasn't going to win and this time I actually cut everyone and didn't make a ton of exceptions because I felt bad.

69th place: Jynx Susurrus- stabbed by Siren

Same story. Jynx and Victory were so old they had few followers. I like them both and will be glad to write them again but this time I had to make the cut.

68th place: Victory Amarinthine- Throwing star fired by Eliora

I feel even worse about this one than about Jynx. Victory got second place and died epically in her first story. There just wasn't enough space here and Victory didn't get what she deserved. I prioritized current submitters who could celebrate their victories and Victory kind of got shafted.

67th place: Mahi Arapaima- Stabbed by Elver

Mahi was my sister's Tribue and I knew she wouldn't mind. Thanks Silver.

66th place: Elver Darlin- Stabbed by Mahi

Elver honestly just isn't really strong enough to win. In a weaker than normal group he might but that's what it would take. With so many epic Careers he was just outmatched. There's a Victor in everyone but it will be harder to find if I ever pick Elver.

65th place: Maris Calder- shot by Victory and Tuesday

Maris was one of the ones that blurred into the past. There wasn't anything that stood out about Maris as a Victor so I made the cut early. I could have developed her just like I could have developed any of the ones I killed and I'm sorry I don't have room to do that for all of them. I did give some weight to who died early or never got written so they get a chance. I'd be happy to get Maris again and give her a more complete story.

64th place: Warf Pollman- stabbed by Rex

I looked over all the canon foreigner forms and wrote down mini-forms to tell them apart and get to know them. Cuts were made not randomly but according to personality needs and winning likelihood and all that stuff. I picked Warf to die because he obviously wasn't designed as a Victor unless he got massive development, which I always love but this time I didn't pick him for it.

63rd place: Eren Lindell- Rekt by Floki

Eren is probably the most surprising choice. I had a few similar Four females and had to pick one to die. They all had their own personalities- Eren wasn't a clone or flat- but it would have been a similar journey to victory and it would be very hard for me to write them all without repeating myself. It's nothing to do with Eren or her abilities. She just got the short end of the straw.

If anyone's curious, I did the math, because I was also curious. 28 out of 90 is 31%, or roughly 8 in a normal Bloodbath, making this in comparison my largest Bloodbath.
