"She's pregnant." The words flew out of Carlisle's mouth and hit me like a ton of bricks.
"I-I'm what?"
"I think you're pregnant, all the symptoms line up to a pregnancy." He explained it more clearly.
"That doesn't make sense though...I thought you only get morning sickness, not afternoon sickness..."
Jasper's POV:
Pregnant? The word bounced around in my head. Tammy is pregnant?! How? When? And then suddenly, it hit me. The night before we were separated for the wedding. That's how, and when. I was in complete and utter shock. I had...I couldn't even think about it. Tammy is still human! Alarm portrayed on my face but I hid it before Tammy could see it.
I remember seeing the bruises that marked where my hands had held onto Tammy during our...time. I remember the bed literally breaking in half. All of this because of my enhanced strength I had gotten after turning into a vampire. I knew it was a bad idea to do, but I couldn't help myself. Tammy was so...determined when we had our...time. That means that...that...I couldn't think this either. Suddenly, I got brought back into reality by Carlisle's professional voice vocalizing something.
Carlisle's name was shouted by Esme, by this time they had started packing up the reception...Carlisle went to see what Esme wanted. As soon as he was out of earshot Tam finally confronted me.
"Alright, what's wrong?"
"N-" She cut me off.
"And don't say nothing, I can tell something is wrong."
"Fine. It's just...if you are pregnant, you could die giving birth to this child because it could be half-human and half-vampire. And the baby might not be compatible with your body, due to its possible peculiar nature of it." Shock covered her face.
Tammy's POV:
"I could d-die?" I asked in utter disbelief. How could a little baby kill me? I wondered.
"Yes, you could."
"I-Change me then." I had always wanted to become a vampiress, but Tula hated the idea, which is one of the reasons why she decided to suck the venom out of my wrist when James bit me.
"Change you? Why?"
"Change me at the last minute. Then I'd survive giving birth to our child."
"I wouldn't be able to stop."
"Then get Carlisle to do it."
"Are you sure this is what you want?"
"Yes."
"Okay, we'll ask Carlisle when he doesn't have time on his hands."
"Okay, that's agreeable." After our conversation, Jas and I decided to go home (The Cullens House.) To my content, Jas drove the speed limit, he could probably tell I was afraid of the speed.
Eventually, we got home, I got to Jasper's bed in his room and basically collapsed on it. It had been such an exhausting day. I finally let sleep control me and I fell asleep for what felt like days.
