Dear diary week 30 July 1st through July 10th

July 1st dear diary we left ocean chores early this morning heading to a town near San Francisco. It took us almost 6 hours to get there when we arrived we met a lot of people including his granny and poppy. Mom and I helped his aunt Jean start setting things up for the huge sale tomorrow. The little girls where playing with his nieces Hope and Grace while Elsie and his niece Joy were talking like old friends. His niece Faith was also helping mom and I with yard sale stuff. The girls and I are staying in a guest house with is nieces while he and mom are in the main house. We are going to bed as we need to be up early tomorrow to set the stuff up for the sale.

July 2nd dear diary we had the biggest yard sale I have ever seen or been to. It started at 7 in the morning there were 3 buildings full of stuff one for women one for men and one for kids. We were running between buildings helping and helping customers. Faith and I were also selling treats and drinks on a moving cart. Joy and Elsie were helping at the cashiers table The 4 younger girls were running errands and doing odd jobs for every one. We worked all day the sale didn't end till 5 for today we will be back at it tomorrow. I am signing off for dinner showers and bed time.

July 3rd dear diary happy 8th birthday Elsie we spent the whole day working the sale again. We worked 7 to 5 again. After the sale ended we took Elsie out for a lobster dinner at a very very fancy restaurant. From there we headed out to Disney land with his nieces aunt and uncle who are raising the girls. We got there late tonight we are staying at the Disney land hotel. It is amazing tomorrow night we are going to a special 4th of July celebration. Which should be amazing and a very beautiful fire works display I am glad we brought my headphones so I can enjoy it. I am going to sign off so we can have birthday cupcakes for Elsie and go to bed.

July 4th dear diary we spent the morning swimming and relaxing so we could be rested since it was going to be a long night. We took time to eat at the golden horseshoe it was amazing we had chicken strips and fries and fish and chips. We also had ice cream sundaes for dessert before heading to do some shopping. Our first stop was the mad hater for new mickey ears I picked classic Minnie ears in the old style blue hat with flower. Clara got A really cute Pluto ears set while Elsie went with Mickey pants ears. Emily found a set of angle ears she is in love with Lilo and stitch right now.

The others chose various character ears and we then headed to the emporium for plushies shirts and a few other items. We also went to the old fashioned candy store an art shop and other places. When we were done we went to the hotel for a rest and to get ready for the special 4th of July festivities. We headed back in around 6 and headed to special meet and greets. After those were over we rode rides in the dark and did a few other activities before finding a space for the parade and fireworks. When they started we made sure I had my headphones so I could really enjoy the show. We got back to the room shortly before 11 so I am signing off to go to bed and get some sleep.

July 5th dear diary after sleeping in we went to a character meal and then rode so many rides it wasn't even funny we stopped at sally's cozy cone motel for snacks for lunch we had pretzels and churros along with mac and cheese and popcorn in a special bucket. We also each got a souvenir sipper. When we got back to hotel we went swimming and just relaxed we have had a very crazy few days. We are going to dinner with some friends who moved down here a few months ago so I will talk to you tomorrow.

July 6th dear diary we spent the whole day exploring again we had a lot of of fun including rides shopping and more. We were so busy that it wasn't even funny so we were exhausted by break time. We went to the hotel for several hours of rest as we were so sleepy we all ended up falling asleep. When we got up we spent a few more hours in the parks before meeting several friends of my soon to be stepdads for dinner at a huge buffet restaurant mom and I talked to the chef about safe foods for me. He decided to make me a fresh salad since there were nuts in the salad bar and he also offered to get my fresh fruit and vanilla ice cream for dessert so I could enjoy dessert as well. I could have the meat from the carving station and he brought me mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. When dinner was over we went and hung out around the pool and are now just relaxing. We are flying out tomorrow morning for Texas to visit my aunt and uncle as my uncles been diagnosed with a very nasty disease called Parkinson's disease. I better sign off and go pack my stuff up.

July 7th dear diary we flew to Texas this morning arriving about 3 hours later and being met by my cousin. When we got to the ranch we had dinner and I got to hold my new baby girl cousin who was born 1 month ago today. We are spending 3 days here before flying to Louisiana for an overnight before our flight to Vermont. After I held Baby Lily I helped Clara get settled on the sofa with pillows under her elbow so she could hold her. This was her first time ever holding a baby she was in love. Elsie and Emily each took turns holding her as well we also went on a trail ride which ended early as Horses apparently make Clara get the sneezes. When we got in mom gave Clara a dose of allergy medicine and had her rest on the sofa with baby Lily.

When we looked over a few minutes later they were both asleep with Clara's arm around Lily. When they were up we all went to a BBQ restaurant and had dinner again mom and I talked to the chef and he said there really wasn't much I couldn't have except he would make a fresh macaroni and cheese in a clean pan so no trace of almonds were present since they use the same pans for green beans with bacon and almonds. We decided not to risk it and I would just grab food on our way home since we need to be very safe. When everyone else finished eating mom and I stopped and grabbed me a sonic chicken tenders meal and a kids corn dog meal for the other 3 the BBQ was way to spicy for them. When we got home Clara who seems to be a baby whisperer once again got baby Lily to sleep. Well better sign off mom wants me to take a shower and wash my hair before bed.

July 8th we spent a hole day doing activities including a museum on the Alamo and a few other history museums. We also got Clara her first true cowgirl boots as she is finally in a big enough shoe size. When that was done we went an allergy friendly BBQ place mom had found online and ate lunch it was yummy. We then did a bit more shopping before going back to the ranch and hanging with family. We all had fun and Clara loves or as she says Yuvs baby Lily they are cute together I think Lily loves Clara as well. I spent time with a cousin I only see once every 3 years as she lives overseas with her family. We worked on moms wedding quilt with Elsie she showed us lots of very very cool stuff. Well mom just called down she needs help as both little girls are having nightmares.

July 10th dear diary we spent today getting ready to leave tomorrow. We shopped for a few items went and had my soon to be stepdads dress clothes laundered and did things like that. We had a meal at a local creole place where we asked the chef who is a distant cousin about safe food she said every thing but the pecan pie and brownie sundae were ok but she would bring me a dish of plain ice cream with hot fudge. We asked that she use a clean ice cream scoop just to be extra safe and she was fine with that. We then ran to look for a few more items to add to a wedding hamper we are making. We fly out early tomorrow so I am signing of to get some rest before leaving here.
