THE HER AGENCY

Disclaimer: The Cullen's, the Swans, and most of the characters mentioned in the story that are known from Stephanie Meyer's beloved Twilight Saga, are all hers and hers alone. I neither have nor wish to pass them off as mine. I do appreciate the fact that she did bring them to life and allows us to play with them in our imaginations. The only thing I will claim is the current storyline.

The awesome and talented dowlingnana searched out my errors and corrected them.

Once they were on the way to the hospital the pains increased in intensity, but as they arrived at the hospital a nurse with a wheelchair was waiting to take Bella inside. Carlisle had called ahead, and everyone had been alerted to be on standby.

Six hours late Bella and Edward welcome their newborn into the world.

CHAPTER 42: EPILOGUE

SEVEN YEARS LATER

Edward is sitting quietly watching Stephan and Stephanie playing with their cousin, Kayla, Alice's and Jasper's daughter. All three children were busy racing around in the backyard away from the pool which they knew was off-limits unless an adult was out by the pool to keep an eye on them. But as he watches them, he shakes his head as he remembers the night his children were born.

Damn, Stephanie was the surprise baby. No one had any idea that Stephan had a twin, the boy had done a good job of keeping his sister hidden behind him at all times. Everyone had questioned the reason of an echo heartbeat and were keeping a close eye on the fetus without trying to alarm Edward and Bella unduly as it was suspected that the baby might have a bit of a heart problem. But always his sister had shadowed him and was completely hidden from everyone during each scan the whole time.

Everyone was surprised when Bella continued to have hard contractions and yelled that she needed to push after Stephan had been born. And, because of that she popped out a baby girl also. The doctor had called her a shadow baby. Then explained the situation to him and Bella once the babies had been taken care of. She told Edward and Bella that what had just happened was a rare situation, but not one that was unheard of. And, once she did explain how it occurs she laughed as she said, "Well, you don't need to worry about your young man having a heart problem, it was all just his sister's heart being in almost sync with her brother's which made it very hard to distinguish as a separate heartbeat."

Auctioning off the furnishings from the Herndon House did manage to bring in quite a nice amount to begin the foundation that would support the objective of what Herndon House was going to represent. And, it had taken almost six months after Bella had moved in with Edward for all of the renovations to be completed for Herndon House to be ready to begin receiving its first guests. And that is what Bella insisted the residents were to be called, "guests". She refused to allow any other term to be applied to them. "Our guests are there to get their lives back on track and to learn that although the world doesn't owe them anything, neither is the world against them having a normal, happy, productive life." Bella had told everyone.

Esme was asked and then appointed by Bella to oversee the hiring of the necessary personnel that would be needed to run the foundation and the house, itself. Bella asked Esme to be the head of the foundation and to take charge of the overall project.

It was during the time of the renovations that Alice discovered that she was pregnant with a little girl, but she continued with all of her projects without a break. Then six months after the twins were born, she and Jasper welcomed their baby girl into the world.

And, it was at each birth that it was hard to tell who was the prouder, the parent or the grandparent. Edward or Charlie and then Jasper or Charlie. All three children had their fathers and grandfather wrapped around their little fingers. Whatever the kids wanted the men would go out of their way to make sure they had it. That is unless the mother put a stop to it.

Stephan and Stephanie will be celebrating their seventh birthday in just three days and Edward was determined that his babies would have the best day, but that was what he tried to make happen each year for them. He was always trying to outdo himself year after year.

Charlie was flying in from Washington State to help celebrate the twins' birthday. And, he started to compete with Carlisle over who was the best grandparent. The women continued to scold and then laugh about the crazy-ass thing the men tried doing for the kids. Although it wasn't mentioned everyone knew that a certain jealousy existed between the grandfathers. Carlisle was able to see the children whenever he chose, and Charlie lived several hours away, so he had less time with the children.

Rosalie and Emmett are still going strong in their relationship even though they haven't gotten married. Rosalie made the choice to stop being in front of the camera all the time and after some discussion with Bella, she became a partner in The Her Agency and The Male Agency. Shortly after that happened, the two women decided to open a branch of both The Her and The Male Agencies on the east coast and the two were doing quite well there as well as on the west coast.

Rosalie would make a trip to New York ever so often to check on things, and Emmett would travel with her since he had business interest all up and down the east coast. Emmett had many gyms opened in several of the large cities from New York to Miami. So, he would go with Rosalie and check up on how things were going in all of these areas while Rosalie was checking on things with the two agencies.

But it had come to the attention of everyone that Rosalie's traveling time was about to be cut short because she's now pregnant with hers and Emmett's first child. Emmett was pushing Rosalie to find out the sex of the baby, but she's refusing as she's wanting it to be a surprise. He was also pushing for Rosalie to marry him, but she hasn't given him an answer to that question yet. The only thing she tells him is, "We've waited this long so what's the hurry?"

During the seven years watching his babies grow, Edward had made two more movies, been nominated for an Oscar, then won an Oscar, won a Golden Globe, along with various other awards for the last two movies he had made. Of course, over the course of his career, Edward had been nominated numerous times for his different roles and won an Oscar earlier in his career as well, but all of that was only the stairway to what Edward was really wanting to do. He was now directing. He had taken his place behind the scenes and was loving it. It also gave him more time at home with his family.

Of course, the day that Bella had walked out onto the patio and across the yard towards him shortly after the twins were born was the moment that Edward acknowledged that he had finally arrived home. His life was complete. That day family and close friends celebrated their marriage and his parents had taken care of the twins during the two weeks that Edward and Bella had gone to Europe for their honeymoon. Of course, Charlie wasn't going to let Carlisle outdo him, so he had taken leave and stayed to help take care of his grandbabies during that short period of time. He wanted to make sure that they didn't forget him before he could get back down to visit them again.

Hearing a slight noise behind him, Edward turned to see who was coming near. He saw it was Alice coming to remind him that it was time to go to the airport to meet Bella's plane. And, as he rises to and turns to face his sister-in-law, he notices that she's looking out at the kids playing.

"We've come a long way, haven't we, Edward?" She comments and asks. "They're beautiful; all three of them. And, now Rosalie and Emmett are about to add to their number. That chance meeting between you and Bella at the airport was the movement needed to bring us all to where we are now." Alice finished her line of thinking.

"You're right, Alice. We have definitely come a long ways, but I have to say that despite of all the bumps along the way, it was well worth it. Now, I need to go get my wife." And, with that Edward leaves to go pick Bella up at LAX.

Upon his arrival, the paparazzi swarmed around Edward trying to get some kind of information out of him. One or two of the more determined, unsavory characters used insults tossed out against first Edward, then Bella, to try to get a reaction but Edward refused to give any of them the attention they were hoping for. Instead he continued to push through to meet Bella as soon as she came through to the baggage claim area.

However, one man that was determined for a story made a move toward Edward which he noticed out of the corner of his eye. Edward reacted to the move as the man went to give Edward a push and as Edward stepped to one side to avoid the man's movement, he felt himself bumping into something.

That was when the flashes from the cameras began. Swiftly turning around a look of shock quickly appeared on Edward's face. Then a slow smile begins to form as he reached down to assist the person that he had accidentally knocked down, to rise.

"Well, hello, strange meeting you like this." He said.

A light laugh was heard as the reply was very simple, "Just like old times."
