Kagome nodded and gave her book to Miroku. "Can you find out what purple symbolizes for me please? I'm sure I wrote it somewhere."
The monk quickly found the page he needed and read the meaning out loud.
"Purple: royalty and dignity. A symbol for perfection. Can also mean grace."
"So it is someone who can offer everlasting commitment," started Sango.
"Or is committed," added Kagome.
"And is of high status. Or at least graceful in one way or another," Miroku finished. Nobody spoke. "Well, that's a step in the right direction."
"A tiny step," groaned Kagome.
