Match 5 David "King vs Agatsuma Takeo

Master vs King

It was a sunny day and an image of a grassy meadow could be seen. Butterflies were flying and birds were chirping peacefully within their forestry trees. Beyond the meadow was a large kingdom. Though the sight was beautiful, another eventful thing was yet to be seen.

Standing in the tall grass was a young boy. He wore a loose-fitting tunic that was obviously too large for the boy. It was colored with a grayish blue texture. The back of the shirt revealed white markings of what looked to be a symbol of a lion. The boy was moving steadily, as if he was preparing himself for something to strike him.

Suddenly the grass started to move behind him. The boy spun around quickly and formed a fighting stance. He saw nothing. "My mind must be playing tricks on me." thought the boy. For a split second, the boy dropped his guard and quickly regretted that moment. Something faster than his eyes could react struck him on the left side of his cheek. He fell to the ground but quickly got up. "Where are you?!" he shouted, but the only response he got was the winds. The boy was tensing up. He felt another attack was coming but he didn't know where exactly. A sweat drop coming from him fell on a piece of grass.

He was then violently tackled from behind and his face landed onto the ground. A dark figure was holding him to the ground. "David you have to-" the individual couldn't finish his sentence because the boy soon reacted by delivering a strike by using the back of his head. The individual let go and David got up. "Here take this!" shouted the boy as he threw many punches. However, none of the punches seemed to land. "Stupid child" was the last thing the young boy heard as the shadowy figure delivered a downward punch to the boy's head. This punch was brutal as it violently slammed the young boy's body to the ground.

There was darkness; everything seemed quiet. The sounds and feelings of being licked woke up the child. The child awoke with a lion licking the spot where the boy was injured. "Kimba STOP," said the boy. "How many times do I have to tell you? Your licks feel like sandpaper." The lion paid no heed. It continued to lick his young master. The boy, annoyed now, got up and rubbed the mane of the lion. "I'll make sure Carmilla takes away your extra meat if you don't listen to me next time."

The boy's eyes drifted to his father, the king. He was sitting on the edge of the cliff admiring the view. "David you really have to pay more attention," he began. "I won't be around forever, and someday you'll have to be king when I'm gone. How can you develop your King of Fists style if you make these mistakes."

The young David couldn't hear anything anymore. Things started to blur out and all that was left was darkness.

"Davey! Davey! Wake up you stupid brat!" shouted Warden Armstrong. The man was trying to wake up his prisoner. David was sleeping on a metallic chair. He had a habit of sleeping a lot. David slowly lifted up his eyes and saw Armstrong and his employer staring at him. "It's your turn to fight now David, make the company proud." said Mr. Fujiwara as he stepped aside. The warden pulled out a key from his pocket. Thereafter, he went to unlock David's handcuffs. However, the young prisoner got up and pulled the metal handcuffs, breaking it in the process.

"Let's get this over with," said David as he walked towards the arena.

Hallway that leads to a separate section of the arena

Agatsuma Takeo was standing against the concrete walls while talking with his boss. "So in essence, we couldn't find much information on the guy nor his fighting style." Erick explained. He was rubbing the back of his head nervously, though Erick and Takeo were friends, the younger fellow was still intimidated by the older gentleman.

"It's fine Erick. I don't really need to figure out the fighter's information beforehand." said Takeo. He was rubbing the back of his head as well. The man didn't have nervousness in his eyes, but his boss did. "Listen, I know you're super strong and I have no doubt you'll win this tournament. But please don't do anything too reckless out there." said the worried boss. The wise master laid his hands onto the younger man's shoulders. "I need to find someone to pass down my art, Erick. Don't worry about me." Takeo finished as he began walking away.

The fight that transpired in round 4 was brutal. Every fight up to now seemed to have been an exciting one, but why are these fighters risking their lives? For glory, fame, money, maybe a challenge? Whatever the case, the people watching the fight don't really care. They only want to see the fighters' blood be spilled. But round 5 is different, these aren't fighters. Warrior blood will be spilled in the arena, however, the difference between this fight and the past ones are the motivations. There are men who fight for something, other men just fight for themselves. These two men who are about to do battle have a purpose for fighting.

"Hey River, that David guy is about to have his match soon, who do you think is going to win?" asked Sakura Ibuki to his friend. They were standing up on the upper balcony leaning on the railings. "Quite honestly, I'm not sure. Both of those two are a mystery to me." answered Sigfried "Blood" River. River was a calculating individual but he couldn't come up with a solution to this given situation. "But if I have to choose one, my money would be on-" the ex-special forces soldier stopped short from answering as the lights began to dim.

The only light that was visible was on Katahara Sayaka, the ring announcer. She smiled at the crowd and gave some friendly waves. She cleared her throat because she was about to begin the introductions.

"This will be the fifth match of the Kengan Annihilation Tournament!" she announced. "Representing parts from the unknown, he is the master of the dark arts. A historical figure in the underground world of combat. Standing at a height of 177cm and weighing 89 kg. Representing the popular social media platform Ourtube. It's The Rising Dragon, give it up for Agatsuma Takeo!" Fireworks erupted as the name was mentioned. The roaring crowd were cheering and clapping as the old warrior walked towards the center of the arena.

Takeo paid little attention to the crowd. His mind was focused on one thing: win the fight and possibly find himself a disciple to pass down his fighting style, The Shapeless Dance.

"Wow, that old man can be old enough to be my grandfather" commented Kaiya Nariko. He was now sitting amongst the audience members. "That old man is a master, did you know? He is considered by many the world's first 'Actor'. He was feared by many during his time." interjected the 7 foot Italian man. This man's name was Raphael Empio, he had a creepy smile on his face and said "I wanted him first." This 'Archangel' was indeed sadistic, he was known for wanting to have great battles.

Miss Katahara drifted her hand towards the other entrance to the arena. "We have a bit of royalty in the house!" as she said that, the crowds were getting excited. "This competitor stands at a height of 170cm and with a weight of 79 kg. Representing Japan's third largest financial group, Fujiwara Financial. Hailing from the land of Asura, it's their fallen prince...DAVID KINNGGG!" More fireworks began to erupt. Coming out of the smoke came in a man wearing a red prison outfit. The back of the shirt read Fujiwara Financial.

It was David King making his grand debut. He motioned to the ring confidently. His eyes were concentrated on his opponent. He was staring down the master like a lion would stare down their prey. His fists were ready for some action, they were the key to his freedom. Additionally it was quickly noted by many that David was still wearing those

broken handcuffs on each wrist.

"Wait that David weirdo wasn't kidding?!" River's boss almost fell off the railings. Ibuki thought the whole king shtick was just a bloated ego. He didn't think David was actually telling the truth. His fighter River was pondering the country just mentioned.

"Didn't Asura once have a king that was overthrown?" "What happened exactly?" he thought to himself. As his mind pondered the thought, his eyes shifted to a young woman. She was standing by the entrance of where David came from. She had pale skin with white hair. She must be a worker considering the maid outfit. Was she a fangirl or something?

As both warriors were now sharing the same space together, the referee Yamamoto Koishi started to give out the instructions to both participants. After that both fighters separated and were now ready to begin the match. Tensions ran high, as though whatever happens in this battle will determine fates.

"Begin!" shouted the referee as he slammed his hand to ground signaling the commencement of the battle.

David witnessing the signal, sprang into action. He lowered his body slightly to the ground and he clenched his fists. Noticing David was ready to go on the offensive, Takeo executed a flat stance. He performed a hybrid of a Low Dragon Stance, but what was different was one arm was pulled back.

David at first didn't take heed to the stance. He felt like he could have ended this battle just like the countless battles he went through. He was able to cover ground quickly as he was half way of reaching the dark arts master. But around the halfway point within striking distance he stopped in the middle of his tracks. He froze there and stood there in silence.

The announcer girl confused began to question the sudden change of operations. "Why did David suddenly stop?!" "Could David be wary of his fellow competitor?!"

"Oh I see, that David guy must be some sort of scaredy cat!" screamed one of the men in the stadium. "Why is he even here if he isn't going to fight!?" shouted another. It would seem like some of the people in attendance were disappointed by the lack of action.

The young king paid no heed to these imbeciles words. His body was running on pure instinct, something inside of him was warning of him of danger. If he had charged fully whatever may have happened could have cost him dearly. For now, he must analyze the situation and form a strategy.

"So this young man isn't just a battle hungry buffoon...interesting." thought Takeo. He slowly started shifting towards another fighting stance. "Thinking through a problem to find a solution would probably be the best thing to do." "However, what makes you think I'll allow you to formulate a plan."

The dark master smiled, he shifted his gaze towards David. If this prisoner wasn't going in for the attack, Takeo will bring the attack to him. Though he was an old man, his speed shouldn't be taken lightly. He swiftly moved his legs and was heading to the convict's direction.

Still weary of the Actor's abilities, David tried out maneuvering the individual. "Damn this oldman is quick!" the king thought out loud. David thought he had Takeo beat in speed however, the dark master was matching him.

"David is making us look like fools! Damn that coward!" screamed Armstrong as he threw a bottle of scotch to the glass window. Mr. Fujiwara tried calming down the warden. He knew it was a good idea to have them spectate the fight someplace more private. But still though, he had to agree with the warden. Why was his fighter being so cautious?

Takeo was able to corner the young king. David felt like an animal backed against a wall. He showed his fangs, it was a sign of him being ready of whatever may come his way. The Rising Dragon decides to take up the young man in his offer. He promptly altered his stance and changed back to his hybrid dragon stance.

"I'm within range," thought Takeo. He thrusted forward with incredible speed and power. The arm he held back was extended forward, a punch was to be delivered.

"Dragon Cannon!" the old man shouted his ultimate move. Either by instinct or sheer luck David was able to evade the devastating attack. He jumped out of the way as a cloud of smoke came blasting behind him.

"WHAT POWER!" shouted Sayaka. She and the rest of the crowd were in awe, the old man's punch was able to destroy part of the concrete wall. A cold sweat dripped down on the young king's neck. If the attack would have landed he would be seriously injured.

"That's one crazy tough grandpa!" commented Sayaka.

True Takeo's ultimate attack was powerful, no one could really withstand a full on attack from it without some sort of injury. However, David was able to analyze the technique. His high perception allowed him to recognize the flaws. Dragon Cannon seems to work at maximum effect in a linear path. This is because if the dark master wanted to, he could have tried chasing after him. But he didn't, he has the speed to catch up with him so why didn't he? It wasn't because he didn't want to, it was because he couldn't.

"It would seem like from the look in your eyes you figured out my trick pretty quickly." The older man was impressed. This convict was impressing him every second this battle went on. But let's see if this king can handle the master properly with most of his tricks.

Takeo switched to a boxing stance. He was ready to do battle once more. "Wait ladies and gentlemen, it looks like Takeo is mimicking the champion boxer Gaolang Wongsawat!" the announcer girl was observant as well. She figured the stance and how Takeo was moving was very similar to Gaolang.

David gritted his teeth, "Shit, hopefully my bare knuckle boxing can be enough." He went head to head fighting the Actor. Each combatant was able to land a strike on each other. The crowd was treated to a small boxing match it seemed like. David was surprisingly acting defensively while Takeo offensively. Though David's bare knuckle and jailhouse style were good enough defensively, he was still struggling. Takeo's copy ability proved beneficial. Takeo's years of studying the combat arts helped him realize what worked and didn't work. The style of boxing David was using was considered outdated compared to the newer and better developed style Takeo was using.

It wasn't till David started to incorporate kicks, that the battle became more even. The other's boxing skill was still far above him, he had to surpass him somehow. Muay thai may be the key to make this battle of strikes equal.

"I need to win!" that thought kept replaying over David's head. But it seemed like so far the fight was about equal.

David saw the first strike coming, it was coming at high speed. He slipped through the punch, but another punch was incoming. Takeo swung quickly with his other hand, but the younger man was able to evade the punch by ducking. David then went in and tried throwing a muay thai kick, he was aiming for the old man's ribs.

"Spear and shield" said Takeo simply as he seemingly copied Akayama Yuuta's move. "Hey that's my move!" shouted Yuuta from the stands. He was annoyed that someone would steal his move.

Takeo was able to counter the muay thai kick to the rib by using his left arm as a shield. His right hand was able to directly hit David in the jaw as well. This led to the king to drop to the ground. Takeo took haste and didn't miss the opportunity to get on top of him. He started to strike down the younger fighter and all the young king could do is block.

David's arms and hands started to feel the pressure, the punches were excruciating. This man though older had punches that can break down a cement wall. David felt like he couldn't hold out much longer.

"DAVID IS IN SERIOUS TROUBLE!" "WILL THE DARK MARTIAL ARTIST WIN?!" the announcer girl said this as she stood up from her table.

"It's over now!" shouted Takeo. As he was about to deliver a massive blow to David's face, but the young king caught the punch just in time. He began squeezing the hand which caused a lot of discomfort for the master. David then threw a powerful punch with his free hand, it was enough to get the man off from him.

"That punch felt different, a lot harder but how-" Takeo was in shock and so were the audience. From the arena screen, it zoomed into the king's face. His eyes changed, they were a different color! No longer were they a soft brown, it was now a glowing gold. David's presence and look resembled a lion. He was strong, adaptive, resilient, fierce and dominant. It was like Takeo was a random animal entering into the king of the jungle's territory.

"But wait, I don't understand what the hell is going-" Ibuki was deeply confused how this is even possible. Stepping out of the shadows was Vlad "His Bloody Highness" Voiculescu, he came to explain the situation. "You see all kings or generally rulers are born with some type of gift. For some, it's the power of charisma others like David is power." "If I had to guess, his royal bloodline grants him the ability to secrete a higher level of adrenaline and considering his bloodline is very old. a part of his brain may have unlocked a primal code in his DNA." "That last part might explain the eyes, though it would seem like the young King isn't accustomed to the transformation." "Perhaps a lack of training?" Vlad's analytic skills were pretty close, accurate even. "Sorry if this is a random thing to ask Vlad but... why is your scepter all crocked?" That was a pretty random question, but the young CEO couldn't help to question that thing either. "I had a small confrontation with Viktor Miller, a fight didn't break out, but let's just say him and I if we ever meet again I'll break him like he did my scepter.

As the battle continued between David and Takeo, it was clear that the prisoner was outclassing the master now. The Rising Dragon knew he had to change things quickly, if not defeat would become absolute. The dark arts master knew he had to use his ultimate technique, 'The Dragon Dance'. He hasn't used the move in decades, the last time was against a very tough opponent. Takeo was able to get enough distance between him and the roaring lion. He quickly relaxes his body and his muscles. Memories of his past adventures came rushing into him. This technique was mostly of the mind. He is able to gather all the fighting styles he ever came across and bring them into one art. As the memories start to flood his mind, an image of the previous fighter he fought against using this specific technique came back.

"I see...so you must be the previous king's son." Yes it makes sense. The posture, the fighting style, the looks. This young warrior is the son of the combatant Takeo fought in his prime. Takeo had a duel with the previous king of a nation, though the fight had no conclusion it was one of his greatest fights he ever had.

"Come now young David. Show me what the King of Fists style can really do." Takeo said out loud. Takeo started to change. He changed his fighting stance to mirror David's, his mannerism also changed as well. Not only that but including his body started to transform. The muscular structure and a bit of the face resembled that of the late King. "A bit of psychological warfare can help a long way as well." he thought to himself.

"YOU SEE IT HERE FOLKS, TAKEO HAS COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED TO A DIFFERENT FIGHTER!" the ring announcer girl was stunned and so were many of the audience members. But the question on everyone's minds is will this have any effect in the fight?

Like everyone else David was too stunned. He was speechless, the young king looked like he saw a ghost. "Let's go." the Actor whispered. The man lunged at David and began incorporating move sets that he previously gathered from fighting the father.

"These moves there-" the king's chain of thought was broken as one of Takeo's strikes landed. Momentarily stunned David was then quickly bombarded with powerful strikes to the face and body.

The arena screen displayed David's now tattered prison uniform. Half the shirt was already torn and the pants seemed like it had seen better days. His arms were full of scratches and some blood was leaking down the side of his face. Still conscious, David then tried counterattacking by grabbing hold of the Actor.

"Let's see if you know any grappling!" shouted Takeo. His left arm was placed on David's left shoulder while the right was able to grab hold of the younger man's wrist. Takeo's right arm windmilled David's arm, next by using his left arm he came over under hook and grabbed his own wrist. He successfully performed an inside arm bar. It's a variation of the standing arm bar. However, in this case David was faced behind the master as he began to apply pressure.

The audience's faces were in disgust. The older man is about to break David's arm, how can David get out of this situation?

David could feel his arm being bent, he gritted his teeth from the pain. He couldn't allow the older man to break his arm. He couldn't allow that to happen, he must find a way to get out of this hold. His first reaction was to hit the back with his free arm. However, Takeo countered by shoulder shrugging himself and David to the ground. The Actor was still not letting go of the hold.

"David is in a seriously bad position. Takeo has him pinned down and still has a near unbreakable hold on him. William Brando commented as he was with the other wrestlers. Everyone can see on the big screen that Takeo had taken control of the situation. However, the unexpected happened. David had enough space to move his neck. The next thing was beastly in nature. Like a lion sinking its Fangs into it's prey, David bit down hard into the other man's bicep.

The arena screen zoomed into Takeo's face. It was obvious that the man was in serious pain. The howling pains he produced were disturbing. After that, screams could be heard from the audience members. Never would they have thought someone of royalty to do such a thing.

His teeth were able to reach the bone. Takeo had to let go quickly before the man decided to tear off the flesh and risk him bleeding to death. As expected they were both able to let go. Takeo's arm was still bleeding, and David still had some traces of blood.

"I hate using this move, a king shouldn't resort to these types of tactics." "However, when a king is pushed he must do whatever it takes in order to survive." David thought to himself. Other than that he was furious against the master Takeo.

"You bastard! How dare you use the royal family's art!" shouted David. What Takeo was doing was crossing the line, this art only belonged to his kin. How can an outsider learn such a thing? This dark martial artist will lose, the true king of fists will be the victor.

"Yes just as I predicted, like father, like son. The Kings have a habit of letting their emotions get the better of them." thought Takeo. When he fought the former king, he remembered how inflated the ego was. He was setting up a guard stance for what will happen next. "The young king will get angry and will make many mistakes." "Those mistakes I'll exploit." he had a smirk on his face now. He thought he had it in the bag.

But in the blink of an eye, a ferocious lion of a man attacked Takeo relentlessly. His strikes were so many and done so quickly it was hard for the dark master to keep up. When one hit made contact to the body two more hits would be inflicted someplace else. The old warrior could feel his ribs getting bruised. It felt like David's punches were trying to grind his bones to dust. Takeo face was a different story indeed, cuts and swellings were starting to develop. All of these strikes were happening so fast it was like Takeo was fighting against multiple attackers.

"Takeo is done, he shouldn't have challenged the king's fists," Armstrong said as he finished his 9th bottle of scotch. Him and were watching the fight through a glass window in a private room above. In the lower section of the stadium, Takeo's boss was deeply troubled. His dear friend was getting pummeled, never in his life he would imagine his friend could possibly lose now.

Around the 100th strike, Takeo's eyes locked onto the young prisoner's eyes. The golden irises, though alluring showed the will of imposing dominance. These eyes frighten their enemies, very few were able to escape their grasp. Like a starving lion who finally caught its prey there was no escape.

The strikes were now beginning to take their toll on Takeo. Pain was just an illusory sensation that his mind could shut down if it needed to, he told himself. The master was able to absorb the trauma, swallow in the pain, but even he had his limits. His legs began to collapse now. He fell backward as the final blow was delivered onto his face by David.

"Fists of Kings!" shouted the young king David. His favorite move was a success, he may have finally beaten 'The Rising Dragon'. His pulsating body and his rapid heart rate were the signs of his body telling me he was reaching exhaustion. He tried controlling his breathing, but it was very hard. The audience began to cheer, the fight may have finally reached its conclusion.

The arena screen zoomed closer to the king's face. His eyes were starting to change back to its original color. For a moment, those brown eyes seemed to relax. However, those relaxed eyes changed to shocking ones. The screen panned out and revealed Takeo picking himself off the floor. His bloody and bruised body was still alive. This left the audience and the announcer woman at a loss of words.

"I see you're harder to put down than I thought." said David. He started to hop back and forth on his feet. His eyes still showed determination, he was going to win his freedom. Nothing was going to stop him.

The old man stared down the younger man. He opened his lips and spoke, "I'm finished. I'm done fighting...I can see the depths of your power. If this fight continues I can wind up dead and you seriously too injured to keep on fighting. So I give this bout to you."

Hearing this the referee Yamamoto nodded his head in agreement. He walked over to David and grabbed his arm. "The winner of round 5 is David!" he declared.

Cheers began to erupt, the battle has finally reached its conclusion with David coming out on top. "You heard it here folks! David will continue to advance in the tournament!" Sayaka explained.

"You remind me of your father, boy," Takeo said as he walked away. Though a little dazed David was able to hear that. "Wait you know my father!?" "Who are-" David was cut off. "It doesn't really matter right now, celebrate your victory. I think I found who I was looking for. I'll see you around David." With those final words coming out Takeo's mouth he waved goodbye as he walked through the tunnel.

Inside the other tunnel

David had managed to come out on top, however, his injuries from his battle still lingered. The pain was excruciating, it would take at least a full day in order to recover. He held onto the cement walls as he continued to walk forward. He felt like his legs were starting to give. "The King of the Fist will never kneel to the ground!" David struggled to move.

"Here let me help you." said the soft voice of a woman. A white haired woman wrapped her arm around David. She began to help him walk to his room. David didn't want the help, it was embarrassing for him, but he didn't have the strength to argue. They arrived in room 302. The woman somehow had the key to open David's bedroom door.

The woman helped him get inside and sat him on the bed.

"You showed a pleasant display of fighting talent David..." her voice sounded a bit distressed. Her hands were shaking and her eyes were watery. She bit down on her lip and couldn't stop staring at him. As the prisoner stared back at the maid looking woman he felt a bit nolgastic feeling for some reason. He felt like he met this young woman a long time ago.

The woman's eyes shifted to the door and locked it. "Who are you?" asked David, wanting an answer. "It's been so long my prince...it's me your old servant Carmilla."
