Chapter 24: Shimazu Returns: Part 1
Previously:
Opening the box, Tori pulled out a silver necklace with a surfboard locket on it. "Awe. Thanks Zoey."
Before she could respond, Zoey got dizzy and stumbled into the Water Ninja. "Zoey, are you ok?"
Tori's voice sounded like echoes in a wind tunnel. Before she knew it, her vision went black and she was caught before she hit the ground.
1-2-3-4-5
Darkness. All she saw was the Darkness. Zoey stumbled around, almost blind, trying to find some light. Any light. Her powers weren't working, and she felt like she was suffocating.
"The Light!"
She looked around, trying to find the voice who just called out to her. "Hello?" Zoey felt like hyperventilating. "Who's there?"
"You have to find the Light!"
"What Light? I don't see any Light."
Suddenly, the Darkness started to fade. She looked around and saw a ring of fire surrounding a pillar of ice. "What in the world?" Looking closer, she saw some sort of staff frozen in the ice. Hearing a growl, she looked around and saw large red wolf coming at her.
"You must find the Light!"
Still not sure where the voice was coming from, Zoey started backing away from the wolf as he started to leap at her.
The scream got stuck in her throat as the darkness overcame her again.
1-2-3-4-5
Waking up with a scream, Zoey panicked when she couldn't see anything. Trying to focus, her door opened with a crash.
"Zoey!" Feeling hands on her shoulders, she back up again her headboard trying to feel her way to her lamp. "Zoey, what wrong?" Hearing Jenna's voice calm her down. Slowing her breathing slowed and her eyesight returned.
"Jenna?" Looking up in confusion, Zoey shook her head trying to clear it. "How did I get in my room? The last thing I remember was Tori opening her presents."
"Honey, you passed out. You must've had another dream because you've been asleep for three days."
"Three days?" Zoey asked in shock. She stared off for a moment before she remembered. "The Light."
"What Light?" Jenna looked down, "The light in your hands?"
"No. I don't think so." She looked up at her best friend, "I remember being in this Darkness. I couldn't see. Anything. And I kept hearing this voice telling me to find the Light. I didn't know what it was talking about." Taking a deep breath, she reached over for the bottle of water on her night stand. "Next thing I know, I'm seeing this large column of ice surrounded by fire. The ice looked like it could be a statue. It held some sort of wand or staff inside it. It was almost like the fire was guarding it. Protecting it. Then the wolf came."
"A wolf?" Jenna asked with interest. "What kind of wolf?"
"I don't know. It was large. And red. I don't know if I'm explaining this right. It was almost like a brindle wolf. Red with purple highlights. And it's eyes were black." She stopped for a moment to gather her thoughts. "Just as it jumped up toward me, I woke up."
"What do you think this means?"
"I don't know." Looking determined, Zoey stood up. "I do know that it's important. And somehow, some way, I will figure out what the Light is. I will find it. Because if this has anything to do with finding my mom's mirror and releasing her, I will do any and everything in my power to do so. Including facing that wolf. And I'll be damned if I let that pathetic excuse for fire intimidate me."
1-2-3-4-5
Zoey was working on her laptop, trying to research the Light, while the Wind and Lightning Rangers were watching television.
"Quiet! Here it comes!" Shane said from behind her. She looked back just as Totally Talented popped up on the screen. Rolling her eyes, because the show was Totally Stupid, Zoey turned back to work. She figured that with all of her research that she was doing, she could turn it into another project for school. She could probably get it in by finals.
After hearing the show get cut off, Zoey turned around just in time to hear the others protesting to Kelly. Power Rangers Pouting like Children. That's a show she'd enjoy. Grinning, she leaned back to watch.
"What was that for?" Dustin asked.
"You have got to be kidding me." Kelly said incredulously, "You don't watch this, do you?" She asked, shaking her head. "This is an action sports shop. There will be no trash T.V. viewing here. Sorry." After apologizing, she walked back to the shop floor.
Blake and Hunter entered right after Kelly left. "Sup, guys?" Blake asked, before frowning and pointing to the T.V. "Where's Stu?"
Shane shook his head, "Denied!"
"You guys should have known better." Zoey pointed out, still smiling.
"Don't need to be so happy about it." Andy complained.
"Why not. I happen to agree with her. It's trash." She stretched, ignoring the shocked looks she was receiving.
Hunter just grinned, "Well, Zoey's opinion aside," She stuck her tongue out at him, "I was kinda sick of watching it anyways."
Almost as if they rehearsed it, Dustin and Raina looked up and spoke in unison, "You did not just bag on Stu." They look at each and grinned.
"Do you two need a room?" Jenna said walking in, "I'm pretty sure we can find you one."
Raina blushed while Dustin just scratched his head.
Hunter put his arm around Jenna's shoulder and smirked. "I said I was sick of watching it, but not being on it." He high fived his brother.
"What's the deal?" Andy asked.
"They're looking for future stars," Blake said, holding up a flier, "We try out next week."
"What do you guys do?" Raina asked, still avoiding Dustin
"Hey!" Blake said defensively, "We do plenty."
"Yeah, but who would want to see it?" Zoey asked sarcastically, making Shane laugh.
"You are so lucky Jenna is standing here." Hunter threatened.
"Don't let that stop you, Hunter," She said, standing up, "We all know you still haven't beaten me in a sparring match."
"And that you are dying to do so, man." Andy high fived Zoey, who was now standing next to him. "I would pay money to watch you take on the big, bad Thunder Ranger."
"Hey, Shane," Tori, ignoring their antics, leaned over to get her friend's attention, "you have a great voice. You should try out."
"What about you?" He pointed to her, "You're a fierce dancer!"
"Hey, what about the sax master extraordinaire!" Dustin smiled, gesturing to himself.
"Hey, yo!" Blake interrupted, "You're cutting into our action here."
"Well, maybe you shouldn't have opened your mouths about it." Zoey said, going back to her research.
The Wind and Lightning Rangers get up to head out for practicing, with Dustin asking Kelly if he could use the back room, leaving the Thunders with Zoey and Jenna.
"I told you we should have kept it on the DL," Blake muttered.
"You still looking for the Light?" Jenna asked walking over.
"Yeah, I figured I'd kill two birds with one stone. Get this research in and include it in another Project Paper."
Hunter looked over, "Are you two entering?"
"Not no, but hell no!" Jenna shook her head, "We'll come support you, but we won't enter."
"Why not?"
"The show is so stupid. People, very untalented people who think they have talent, go on national television and make fools of themselves." Zoey said, not looking up. "My brother's friend Tanya is a professional singer and co-runs AG Media Studios. Unfortunately, her company runs the show. She hates every minute of it. Her partner, Zack, absolutely loves it. So he's in charge of the show."
"I can't stand the show or Stu. Stu is a total Jerk. He thinks because he's a classically trained actor, he should be in charge and given more respect." Jenna rolled her eyes, "Pathetic."
Laughing, Hunter walked over and gave her a hug. "At least we don't have to worry about you two competing against us."
"Since you'd lose if I did," Zoey smiled over her shoulder, "you're welcome."
"What makes you think that?" Blake asked.
"Zoey's won every talent show she's ever entered, that's why."
The Pink Ranger just grinned before turning back to her work. Hearing her communicator go off, the others leaned over to block her answering. "Go for Zoey."
"Hey, Zoey. Since you're such a history buff, would you come with me to the Museum of Asian History? I need to pick up something for dad."
"Hey, I like museums too." Jenna pipped up, "Can I come with?"
"Why not. I don't know how big this thing is, so that would be good."
"Alright Cam," Zoey said standing up, "We'll meet you there."
"Thanks."
"Have fun practicing boys." Zoey said to the brothers as Jenna kissed Hunter bye.
1-2-3-4-5
"Usually my papers are on Natural History, Egyptology or Ancient and Galactic Mythos," Zoey said, looking around, "maybe I should change that up a little."
"It'd be an interesting change for you." Jenna commented, "I think Big Bro would like to see you expand your horizons as well." Cam smiled as the curator came over.
When they got to the storage room, Zoey and Jenna walked around as Cam followed the curator to look for the box.
"I know it's here...somewhere..." he commented, looking around at the shelves. "Let me see. Ah, here it is," he stopped in front of a long wooden crate.
"Do you know what's in it?" Cam asked.
"I was hoping you would tell me," the curator admitted as he looked at the him with a frown. As he walked off, leaving them alone with the box, Zoey turned to a freaky clown statue with a grimace. "I hate clowns." Jenna nodded in agreement.
"Ok. Creepy clown aside, let's see what's in this," Cam determined, lifting the box and setting it on the table. As he leaned to look for a latch, they heard something crash to the ground behind them and shatter. They turned around, and frowned as they found Marah and Kapri wearing identical uniforms, with pink berets. "Let me guess, field trip?" he asked sarcastically.
"No! Show off!" Kapri yelled at him.
"Yeah, that was so last week," Marah nodded.
"Don't you two usually have a platoon of Kelzacks and a big hulking general keeping watch over you?" Zoey asked.
"Hey! We're not children." Marah complained.
"Yeah, we don't need a baby-sitter." Kapri crossed her arms.
Looking at their outfits, Jenna smirked, "Could have fooled us."
The sisters glared at them as a familiar face stepped out in front of her, causing her to take a step back.
"Wait...is that...?" Zoey frowned in disbelief.
"No way. Perry?" Jenna questioned as they stared at the mutant Motodrone.
"I have no use for Perry," he growled at them. "I am my own being, brought to life by the great and powerful Lothor," he told them.
"Well, that's really nice for you," Cam nodded, "but I have to go."
Zoey and Jenna flanked him as he turned to life the crate.
"Not before you hand that over," Motodrone made him pause.
"If you want it, come and get it," Cam challenged as he turned around with the girls. Motodrone yanked off his cloak, and the Rangers switched from their civilian clothing, to their Ninja Gear. They ran at Motodrone, fighting him off as he shattered several artifacts.
"Will you stop?! Do you have any idea valuable these things are?" Zoey ranted as he tossed Cam over the table. Motodrone swung a punch at her, and Jenna kick him back. Zoey raised her hand and sent an energy wave out, sending Motodrone back. However, he recovered enough launched himself at Cam.
Jenna sent her own furry of ice at the creature, causing him to momentary stop in his tracks. Leaning down, they help Cam up, grabbed the crate and left.
"I am really glad you two have those powers." He said with a grin as the girls high fived.
1-2-3-4-5
They returned to Ninja Ops, and coming down the stairs, they heard a saxophone playing, and someone singing. Exchanging confused looks, they walked down and see Tori dancing, Dustin played the saxophone, and Shane singing.
"Hey guys," Tori greeted as they walked in.
"Hey, it's the kids from Fame," Cam commented as he set the crate down on the table.
"The fact that you grew up in a secret Ninja Academy and know what Fame is, astounds me." Zoey grinned at him.
"Please tell me this isn't part of their Ninja training, dad," he rolled his eyes as he looked over to where his father was sitting, with earphones blocking out the noise. "Dad? Hello? Dad!" Cam's louder shout surprised the guinea pig, who fell from his seat with a startled cry, making the girls giggle. "What is going on around here?" The Samurai couldn't help but laugh.
"It's probably for Totally Talented." Jenna said, shaking her head at them.
"That talent show?" he frowned.
"Yeah! They're holding try-outs here in town man!" Dustin explained excitedly.
"Don't you have to have-" Cam stopped abruptly, smirking himself. "Forget it," he told them, looking away as Zoey covered her mouth to keep from laughing.
"Oh, is somebody Green with envy?" Shane mocked, and Cam rolled his eyes, trying to hide his smile.
"No, just green," he straightened back up. "Look, you guys aren't the only ones with hidden talent," he stated.
"Cool, so what do you do?" Tori asked curiously.
"If I showed you, it wouldn't be hidden," Cam told her innocently, and they laughed.
"Dad, I got it," he said, turning to his father, diverting attention away from the talent show, and to the crate on the table.
"Got what?" Shane asked.
"I don't know," Cam responded as he studied it curiously. "Can we open it?" he asked his father eagerly.
"Only in case of an emergency," Sensei replied, much to their disappointment. "What is inside that container is far too powerful to be used otherwise," he told them as Cam released the crate, looking just as disappointed as the others.
1-2-3-4-5
Jenna and Zoey were hunched over her laptop doing more research on the Light while Cam worked on the Mainframe. "You two still trying to figure out what the Light is?"
"Yeah. I don't know why this is so important, but whoever or whatever it is needs to be found." Zoey looked over at him, "All this training with my mom in the Dreamscape, and not once has she mentioned the Light. I still don't even know where the entrance to the Magical Dimension is, and I believe that's where all my answers will be."
"Do you practice your magic outside of the Dreamscape?" He asked.
"No. I can't." Zoey held up her necklace, "This pendant was charmed. It's the one my parents gave me at birth. When my lessons started, she re-activated the protection on it to keep me from accessing my powers. This way, I can focus on the task of defeating Lothor and not worry about the magic becoming erratic and stray out of me without my control."
The computer beeped before anyone could reply. "What in the world are those?" Cam asked pulling up an image of three wolf-like monsters running around.
"Ok. I'm officially disgusted." Jenna wrinkles her nose as she walked over to the computer to see. "Is this how you felt when we went up against Nogitsune?" she asked.
"Righteous indignation that some evil space freak resembles your spirit animal and you want nothing more than to beat your frustrations out on its face?"
"Yep. That about sums it up," Jenna looked over at Cam, "Wanna call the others? Because I really need to punch something."
1-2-3-4-5
Everyone, minus the Thunders, headed out in the mobile Ninja Ops to search the forest for them.
"Any sign of them from the surveillance drone, Cam?" Andy asked as Cam scanned the forest.
"Well, I don't see anything, but that doesn't mean there's nothing out there," he replied.
"Well, I vote we do a little patrolling," Jenna said, ready to neuter those canine freaks.
"I second that," Dustin agreed.
"Where are the Thunders?" Cam asked.
"Totally secret talent show practice," Tori grumbled, still annoyed that they wouldn't tell them anything. Everyone laughed as Cam sighed, shaking his head.
"Not them too," his words made them laugh even more.
"How do you think we found out about it?" Raina grinned, and Cam rolled his eyes.
"Wait!" Cam focused on the screens, "I'm picking something up," he zoomed in on the forest. "There!" A brown wolf appeared on the screen behind a tree.
The Mobile Command came to a stop in the woods and the rangers took off on foot.
1-2-3-4-5
"Ok, they're right behind us," after a moment, Shane spoke up in a low voice. Without looking around, everyone stopped.
"You sure about that?" Dustin whispered back, and Shane glanced over his shoulder, and spotted one of the Wolves.
"There!" Shane called as he switched sides with Cam. He glanced around again, and found the three wolf monsters now standing together, snarling at them. "I guess it's time for some obedience training," he commented as they all turned to face them.
"Lead the way!" Tori nodded.
"Ready?"
"Ready!"
"NINJA STORM!"
"FIRE STORM!"
"ICE STORM!"
"LIGHTNING STORM!"
"SAMURAI STORM!"
"RANGER FORM, HA!"
"Ninja Ranger Power!" Drawing their weapons, the rangers ran at the monsters and started fighting them, but the wolves were not only fast, but powerful too.
"Alright, I'm taking suggestions," Shane groaned as they were attacked over and over again and forced to back up.
"Rolled up newspaper?" Dustin offered, holding his sword up.
"How about one of those electric collars?" Tori spoke up.
"How about I go Artic on their sorry asses?" Jenna asked, shooting a wave of ice at the mutant wolves, sending them back. Before they could attack again, a crimson blast hit the ground in front of them, barely missing the middle wolf as they yelped and backed away quickly.
"Down boy!" Hunter called; his blaster aimed at the three.
"Bad dog!"
As they went to join the fight, the wolves ran off with loud howls.
"Maybe they were afraid of Thunder," Cam commented with a slight laugh as they caught their breaths, looking to each other.
1-2-3-4-5
"Take a look at this," the Rangers gathered around as Cam set the book he had been reading down and turned it so they could all see.
"We saw a statue of him at the museum." Zoey shuddered at the memory, "I hate clowns."
"He's freaky looking." Raina said, disgusted, "Who is he?"
"Shimazu," Sensei spoke up before Cam could. "An ancient warlord. What you saw was his spirit, preserved for centuries in an ancient mask, carved in his likeness." He explained as they all looked up at him curiously.
"So what does this guy have to do with those rabid rejects?" Blake asked.
"Imposters." Jenna said shortly, earning a few looks.
"Shimazu was known for terrorizing people of the local villages, with creatures called 'Wolfblades'," Cam explained.
Laughing, Jenna looked him incredulously, "Wolfblades? That's the best name they could come up with?" She shook her head, "What a joke."
"So this guy and his wolves are roaming around Blue Bay Harbor now?" Hunter asked ignoring his girlfriend's rant. "How is that possible?" he questioned.
"I bet that whatever energy source was used to bring back Motodrone, rubbed off on Shimazu." Cam frowned, as everyone else looked up in alarm.
"Sorry. Kinda got stuck on the whole 'wolf thing'," Zoey said, looking apologetic. "Supposedly, when we separated Perry from Motodrone, Lothor was able to activate Motodrone without Perry. Or any host for that matter." Hunter glowered.
Jenna hugged her boyfriend from the side, "His disposition hasn't changed one bit."
"Great," Shane sighed. "Now we've got a 2,000-year-old Kabuki dude with an attitude, and his three pet wolves running loose in the city," he complained.
"Those are not wolves. Those are a joke. An abomination. Mutants masquerading as noble creatures that have been around since the Ice Age." Jenna spewed, causing everyone look at her while Shane backed away in alarm.
Zoey just smiled, used to her friend, "I'm just surprised Shane even knows the word Kabuki. Do you even know what it means?"
"Can we get back on topic here?" Shane asked, frowning at the Pink Ranger.
"Well, let's not forget about Lothor," Dustin spoke up with a weak smile
"Trying to look on the bright side?" Tori frowned at the Yellow Ranger.
"There's a bright side?" Andy asked sarcastically, "Because I'm missing it."
"He's right." Raina joined in, "Add it all together. You've got Lothor, Zurgane, Vexacus, Motodrone, and now Shimazu." She held up a hand. "Choobo doesn't count." She added, making them laugh.
"They bring up a good point," Sensei told them seriously. "If Shimazu has been brought to life by Motodrone, there is a good chance he has already aligned himself with Lothor," he pointed out.
"See! Not so dumb after all," Dustin's words made Shane laugh and the others grin.
1-2-3-4-5
Cam groaned as the computer alarm beeped again, picking up another problem in the city.
"What is it Cam?" Shane asked. The others got up, walking over to the computer to see what the problem was.
"There's no sign of Shimazu, but I've got Motodrone on the scanner," the Samurai reported, and they all sighed.
"He's mine," Hunter spoke up, frowning. "You guys look for the three Wolfblades."
"You're not going alone." Jenna poked him in the side.
"Raina and I will help him." Andy said.
"All right. The rest of us will take the forest," Shane nodded.
"And I'll track what's going on from the Samurai Star Chopper," Cam spoke up. Shane clapped his shoulder as he got up, and they all lined up.
"Ready?"
"Ready!"
"NINJA STORM!"
"FIRE STORM!"
"ICE STORM!"
"LIGHTNING STORM!"
"SAMURAI STORM!"
"RANGER FORM, HA!"
"Ninja Ranger Power!" They all raced out of Ninja Ops, with Hunter and the Lightning Rangers took off to fight Motodrone, Cam calling on his Zord, Blake and the Wind Ninjas looked through town on their bike and Zoey and Jenna streaked through town looking for the Wolf Imposters.
"Zoey! Jenna! Tori and Dustin need help in the square! I just sent Shane and Blake!"
"We're on our way!" Jenna called back, and they headed towards the square, where the others were being thrown about by the three wolves.
"Here Wolfie, Wolfie!" Zoey yelled as she called on her Bow and shot an arrow at one of the wolves, and Jenna shot a wave of ice with her Fan at another.
"Time for you to get housebroken!" Blake leapt off his bike and slashed one with his staff. Shane joined the fight, fighting off the other two.
"Careful Shane, they might have rabies!" Tori called to the Red Ranger as he fought off the other two.
"Their bark is worse than their bite," Shane commented as one grabbed him from behind. Zoey fended off the other as Shane struggled to get free, and the black wolf knocked Blake to the ground.
"Anyone got a silver bullet?" Dustin gulped.
"Enough with bad puns!" Zoey exclaimed, exasperated, "Seriously. Haven't we been over this before?"
"Huh? Hey, look!" Everyone turned to where Dustin pointed to see Shimazu materialize.
"Come, come, Power Rangers," he spoke. "Don't you know wolves can smell fear? You've obviously sent them into a feeding frenzy!" he laughed.
"The only one who should be afraid around here is you!" Dustin yelled.
"And whoever designed that ridiculous outfit," Tori added with a scoff. The warlord got to his feet, not seeming fazed by their words.
"Why would I be afraid of children?" he asked mockingly.
"Please tell me he did not just call us children," Shane growled.
"Let's work this loser!" Blake yelled, and they ran at him, only for the Wolfblades to intercept. Shane able to get through and take on Shimazu. He easily blocked the Red Ranger's attack and he ended up on the ground.
"Shane!" Zoey yelled, breaking away from the Wolfblades ran towards her friends. She shot a blast of light out of her hand and sent Shimazu flying back. He caught himself before falling, and sent his own attack back at her, sending her into Jenna and Dustin.
"You have a lot to learn, warrior!" Shimazu told Shane. "You can start with respecting your elders!" He forced he Red Ranger into an arm lock as the rest of the Rangers came to a halt in front of them, "That goes for your little playmates too!"
"Let him go!" Zoey demanded, holding up her Fire Bow and surrounded by pink energy. She was more than ready to put an end to this.
"As you wish!" Shimazu laughed and threw Shane to the ground, where he rolled to a halt in front of the others.
"Shane!" Tori cried and every stood in front of him, aiming their weapons at the warlord.
"Allow me to help!" Shimazu laughed once more and sent a blast at them. Before it could hit them, the pink energy surrounding Zoey out and formed a shield around the group. When the smoke and energy disappeared, all that was left of the Rangers were their suits. "A childish ploy! Unfit for a warrior! No matter, I will find you." Laughing, he looked at his Wolfblades as they howled, "And that very interesting Pink Ranger."
1-2-3-4-5
The Rangers stood silently, taking refuge under a flight of stairs, as the Wolfblades searched all around town for them. "Anybody know how Zoey just did that?" Dustin questioned.
"How about we deal with my freaky, albeit interesting, power developments after we take care of business. Please." Zoey said patiently before Shane's morpher beeped.
"Shane, I've got Motodrone at the beach, but the Wolfblades are right around the corner from you," Cam warned them.
"Alright. We'll take care of the flea-bags," Blake suggested, and the Red Ranger nodded.
"Ok, I'm on my way Cam!" Shane called, running as they called out good luck. The rest of the Rangers emerged from their hiding place and found the Wolfblades waiting for them at the top of the stairs.
"Man! Don't these dogs ever lie down?" Blake complained as the wolves noticed their presence and turned around with loud snarls.
"I'd be happy to put them down!" Jenna said, lifting her glaive.
The three wolves rush at them, slashing rapidly, knocking the Rangers back. Then one tackled Jenna and pulled her through the air, before dropping her to the ground. As she landed on her back with a groan, the black Wolfblade landed on top of him and slashed across his chest before the other two joined in.
"Dudes! I'm getting thrashed over here!" the Ice Ninja yelled, "I will not be taken out by these mangy, flea-bitten, mongrels."
"Time to send you to the pound!" Tori and Zoey fired their weapons and forced the Wolfblades away from Jenna. They then ran over to help her stand to face the three monsters together.
"You mutts need flea collars!" Tori yelled as they backed away from them.
"And muzzles!" Dustin nodded.
"Why don't we just call the pound and be done with this?" Jenna groaned.
"What did I say about the damn puns?" Zoey demanded, holding up her bow.
"You again?" Shimazu's yell made them look up behind them. "I'd be impressed if I weren't so annoyed!" He groaned before blowing into his whistle.
The Wolfblades reacted immediately, launching themselves at the Rangers. Splitting up, Tori, Blake and Dustin took one wolf, while Zoey and Jenna took the third.
1-2-3-4-5
"Ok guys, we need a new plan," the Navy Ranger surmised as the others helped him back to his feet.
"You think?" Zoey grumbled.
"Yeah," Tori agreed, "The Cujo's aren't co-operating."
"Any ideas?" Dustin asked.
Blake nodded, "Follow my lead!" he called to them. "This way!" They ran off, with the Wolfblades following them. "Split up!" Blake called, turning in a different to the others. "Here doggie, doggie!" Blake called tauntingly, and the three tackled him to the ground, snarling loudly. "Now! Go for it!" he yelled to the others.
"Fire!" They others fired their weapons, hitting the Wolves and knocking them off Blake. They cheered, but the Wolfblades recovered and tackled Tori to the ground before she could escape.
"Let her go!" Blake ordered, as they shot at the Wolfblades again. Tori ran over to them, and a loud whistle echoed through the air. However, instead of going after the Rangers again, the three began to attack each other. Taking advantage of their distraction, the Rangers leapt into the air.
"Ninja power!" they slashed down and destroyed the three monsters. As they disappeared, lights flying off, they cheered.
"Let's bail on this doghouse!" Dustin cheered, and they ran off, back to Ninja Ops to rest.
1-2-3-4-5
"You have all done well," Sensei told the Rangers, as they all slumped around the table resting up from the battle.
"No kidding. Those wolves were dogging us big time," Dustin groaned, rubbing his shoulder. "Ouch!" He cried out in pain when Zoey punched said shoulder, "What was that for?"
"I was being nice and ignoring the "doghouse" comment." She crossed her arms, "Quit with those stupid puns. It's getting on my nerves."
"Unfortunately," Cam said, ignoring the Yellow and Pink Ranger, "they're not done." He brought footage up on his screen to reveal the Wolfblades returning, only this time in one giant of Form
"Jenna." Zoey said calmly, unnerving the rest of the team, "I think it's about time you finally show those canine imposters what a real wolf can do." Crossing her arms, she smirked at her friend, "I think it's time to go full Pai Zhuq Master on their sorry asses."
