A/N: Here comes the next! Some wacky fun with the cast of Haikyu!
We don't own Naruto/Boruto/Haikyu.
Boruto stayed in bed longer than he normally would, but he didn't mind it. Sarada's breath fanned on his chest, her arm flung across his middle and her legs tangled up in his. Knowing her ankle was still painful, Boruto did his best not to move too much.
Reaching over his phone, Boruto went through his notifications. Some were from Kakashi and Sasuke, blowing up his email, but he didn't want to see them fight right now. Instead, he opened up messages from Mitsuki, that had links to KNH and other articles. There was barely a mention of Sasuke and Kakashi, so Boruto knew he made the right choice to look at the articles first.
Blue eyes rolled as he read what KNH wrote about Hōki's behavior, blowing it out of proportion. There was no mention or photo of Sarada for that night, but they did have a photo of Sasuke and Mitsuki. Boruto was barely seen in one, just the back of his head.
The article went on about the building security and police handling a complaint they received, and Kakashi refused to give a statement for now. The photos of Sarada that were posted were from old Ninstagram photos, simply explaining that the two were dating but due to this complaint, it looked like that was no longer the case.
It had been quiet on Sarada's profile, Mitsuki texted he preferred to keep it that way, to reiterate she was still recovering.
There were other messages in his inbox, mostly from friends and her colleagues, Gai sent a text, asking if she was alright. One message got his attention, it was from Kiyoko.
Kiyoko: Hi Boruto. The boys and I heard about last night. Are you and Sarada alright? The boys are worried and want to come over.
Boruto read that text again. And again. Kiyoko was already such a sensitive topic with Sarada, but the text seemed harmless enough. Boruto knew that the boys really did care for Sarada and She was so fond of all of them. Having them over would cheer her up, for sure, and help her recover from the stress last night. Absentmindedly, he stroked her hair and weighed the options.
He could have the place ready for a movie night and have food delivered. That way, Sarada could still have cuddles but also see the boys. They both had nothing planned for the day, other than some work for Boruto and more resting for Sarada.
Boruto's thumbs hovered over the keyboard, not entirely sure what to say.
Boruto: Hi Kiyoko. We're fine, Sarada still can't walk too much. I'm sure she would love to see them. Let me ask her when she wakes up.
Almost instantly, three dots started jumping around and Boruto anticipated her response.
Kiyoko: Great! We can come after we finish filming. Don't worry about the food, we will bring something for everyone. Please do tell Sarada to get well soon. We miss her on set.
Boruto didn't reply to that, only closed his phone and played with Sarada's hair some more. She didn't even stir, which Boruto liked. She needed to sleep some more and get back to shape. But she looked so cute, and with her bare body pressed against his, he couldn't help but let his hands roam a little on her body.
He started with her shoulder, caressing down her arm and then to the curve of her waist, slowly moving lower to her hip and then to her perfectly rounded ass. Boruto got a handful and squeezed lightly, snickering when that made Sarada stir and groan, lightly hitting his chest. He stilled and Sarada settled down again, rubbing her cheek on his chest and clinging on a little more.
"That's good." She yawned, words were spoken softly. "Touch me more."
"I thought you wanted to sleep, princess." Boruto kissed the top of her head as he let his hand wander around again, stroking and kneading her ass before sliding up her waist to her chest. "Can't have both, ya know?" He kissed her hair again, ghosting his fingertips on her nipple.
Sarada took his lower lip between her teeth, moaning in her throat. When she released it, she rolled herself halfway on top of him and straddled his leg. She was mindful of her ankle but more interested in Boruto. "We can have sex… and then I can sleep again."
"So eager," Boruto's eyes darkened, voice husky. He placed his hands on her hips, pulling her up a little higher. "That sounds like a plan."
"Yes, I'm a good planner." Sarada smiled lazily and grinded down on his thigh. "Oh. Well… maybe you should get on top."
Boruto smirked and gently pushed her down on the bed, switching their positions. Morning sex with Sarada usually started a lot rougher, but he didn't want to accidentally hurt her ankle.
"Anything you want, princess." As soon as he was over her, Boruto kissed her lips, lightly at first before pressing down harder and letting his body press against hers. It wasn't long until his tongue came to play, licking her lower lip and coming into her mouth to play with her tongue.
.
.
.
Still reeling from their high, Boruto rolled over to his side and then tucked his arm under his head, looking at her flushed face. He stroked her cheek, tracing his finger down her face. "So beautiful." Sometimes Boruto just couldn't believe his luck, the love of his life loves him back. "I love you."
Sarada let out a content and soft sigh, smiling tiredly. "I love you more. More than anything." She whispered. "You're sweet. Let's sleep."
"Alright," Boruto brushed the hair out of her face, voice equally as soft and quiet. "But before that, do you want to have visitors over later? The boys want to see you."
"Mmhmm. It's good." She mumbled, already drifting.
Boruto smiled and let her fall asleep. Once he was sure she was asleep, Boruto pushed himself out of bed and put on some clothes and picked up his phone, wanting to clean up the place before Sarada could wake up again. As he walked into the living room, he texted Kiyoko, telling her Sarada was alright with it and that he could take care of the food instead.
Kiyoko: It's no problem, Boruto. Don't worry about dinner. I will take care of it. See you later.
Boruto read the message through his locked screen and put it on the counter, getting brunch going before cleaning up Sarada's condo.
After an hour, Boruto cooked up eggs and bacon for Sarada and made a fresh pot of coffee. He placed it all on a tray and brought it over to her room, grinning to see her on her phone, the device impossibly close to her face since she wasn't wearing her glasses.
"Ready to eat?" He walked in, placing the tray down on the bed. Boruto picked up her glasses on the side table and then placed it on her face.
"I'm hungry." She smiled wide and looked from him to the food. "You're really spoiling me." Sarada was already reaching for the food. "You're so perfect."
"Anything for my princess." Boruto grinned and leaned in to kiss her cheek. "Call me when you finish eating. I'll help you take a shower."
"Where are you going?" Sarada pouted, quickly reaching out to grab at his shirt. "Don't tell me you're working."
"I'm not!" He laughed and kissed the tip of her nose. "I'm just cleaning up outside. I want to finish before I take you to shower. Or you know," he leaned in and licked her ear. "We can shower together."
Sarada shivered and a smirk tugged at her lips. "You're so smart. Okay, I'll be good and eat while you finish up."
"Okay, princess." Boruto kissed her cheek and then left her to eat her meal.
Knowing that his princess was awake only made Boruto work at cleaning double time. He had already finished dusting and all he needed to do was to vacuum and make sure everything was in place. The condo was fairly big, but Boruto did finish right as Sarada was finishing up her coffee. He took her plates and put them in the dishwasher, taking his phone from the counter and tossing it on the bed before scooping Sarada up in his arms and bringing her over to the bathroom.
Their shower lasted longer than usual, but both of them didn't mind it, enjoying each other's company.
Boruto took a towel and dried her hair, and then her torso, middle, and then her legs. "I'll never get enough of your legs." He smirked, and kissed her thigh as he wiped her calves.
"You're making me think you want to go for round three." She giggled.
"I'm glad I got the message across," he smirked and stood up to kiss her lips. "Let's get you into bed first."
Giving him an excited nod, Sarada maneuvered herself into bed to wait for him to dry himself off.
The day was starting out so great, already having sex with her twice and knowing she wanted to go again made him even more excited. The boys should arrive in a little over an hour, they had plenty of time. Boruto hurried with drying himself up, eager to please his princess again.
Suddenly, Sarada let out a shrill cry and his phone went flying across the bedroom, hitting the wall hard.
Boruto jumped and winced when he saw his phone land on the floor. "What was that for?!"
"You—" She turned her head towards him, looking distraught and furious at the same time. "Y-you liar." The last word escaped her almost silently as she choked on it, her bottom lip beginning to tremble.
Blue eyes went wide. "Wh—Sarada." He approached her carefully and sat on the edge of the bed. He knew that look but wanted to make sure. "What happened?
"Don't do that. Don't—don't you play innocent with me." She sniffled and moved to slide off of the bed. "You're going behind my back… and cheating with that whore." Sarada settled herself on her feet, keeping her weight on her good one. "Right, of course. Because she's just so perfect!"
Boruto looked and felt like she had struck him. "Cheating?!" He repeated and jumped up on his feet. "Sarada, I have never, and will never cheat on you." His chest tightened, the accusation hurt. He had been doing so much all day—all for her.
"I don't want to hear anymore." Sarada shook her head and started hobbling to the dresser where she grabbed herself a pair of panties and sobbed as she tried to get them on without putting too much pressure on her injured ankle. After struggling for a few seconds she hopped back to the bed on her good foot and leaned against it to get them on properly. Huge streams of tears fell down her cheeks that she wiped at furiously with the back of her hand.
Boruto picked up his phone. Surprisingly, it was still alive. There was a crack on the screen but it still worked. There were a lot of new messages, but one in all caps took his attention.
Shoyo: WE'RE AT THE LOBBY BUT THEY WON'T LET US UP!
"Oh shit." Boruto groaned and hurriedly put on his boxers. "Princess, they're here." After slipping on a pair of jeans, he replied to Shoyo and threw his phone on the bed. When Sarada didn't respond to him, he quickly walked over to her and kneeled in front of her, wiping the tears away. "Sarada, I mean it. Is this about Kiyoko's text? She meant she was bringing the boys over. They're already in the lobby." He kept wiping her tears away. "Please stop crying."
"You were texting her. A-about dinner. I saw it. You do want her." Sarada tried to stop crying while weakly pushing at his chest. "I can't believe it."
"I don't believe it either," Boruto rolled his eyes. Even if she was pushing him away, he only leaned in closer. "Sarada, I love you. No one else." He reached for his phone, denying the incoming call from Shoyo. "Look here." He opened the whole conversation, reading the texts out loud. "The boys miss you and brought dinner. That's why I was cleaning earlier." Boruto wiped her tears away with his thumb. "Don't you trust me?" It hurt to know that she would ever doubt him. But Boruto knew well that jealousy was a bitch that was hard to shake off.
Her head shook from side to side before she nodded slowly. "It's her fault. She's a slut and wants you to fuck her." Her red-rimmed eyes stared at him, lips forming a pout.
He winced at her choice of words. Defending Kiyoko would not do him any well, so he just sighed and cradled her face in his hands, looking up at her and smiling. "Even if all the girls in the world wanted to, I would never let them because I'm only yours."
His phone stopped ringing, this time, Sarada's did.
Boruto rolled his eyes and got off his knees. "Shoyo can be such a brat," he muttered and picked up his phone to call the front desk to let them up. When he ended the call, he buttoned up his jeans and threw on a white shirt. Boruto pulled out a sweater dress for Sarada, one that she liked to wear when she was at home.
He walked over to her, still sitting on the edge of the bed in nothing but her panties. Boruto dressed her up and fetched her a glass of water, handing it to her right before the bell rang.
"Do you want to come and see them? I can make them leave." It would have been rude but he didn't care. It would only make the boys feel awkward and Boruto didn't want Sarada to be uncomfortable either.
Sarada sniffled and nodded her head again before whispering bashfully, "carry me."
"Of course, princess." Boruto handed her a pair of pink fuzzy socks and some bandages to hold before he scooped her off the bed and carried her into the living room bridal style.
The doorbell kept ringing like crazy, only to abruptly stop and shouting in the hallway replaced it. Boruto shook his head, guessing who was scolding Shoyo.
"Just a sec!" Boruto called out and carefully put Sarada down on the couch. "Do you want to have your foot up?"
"It's okay for now," She said, glancing up to his face only to turn beet red and look away.
Boruto grinned at her before kissing her forehead. "I'll just get the door and I'll put on your bandages, okay?"
With that, he padded over to the door, opening it and finding Sawamura pushing Shoyo's head down. Kageyama, Tanaka, Asahi, Sugawara, Nishinoya, and Kiyoko were there, too. All holding on to bags of food.
"Hey, come on in. Sorry for the wait."
"Finally!" Shoyo shook free from Sawamura, kicking his shoes off and running right into the condo. "Sarada-chaaaaan!" God. He was so fast. He was on the couch with her in less than a second.
"I see who his favorite is," Boruto muttered and the boys laughed. He let them in, all of them removing their shoes. They were in casual clothes but wearing the Karasuno High Volleyball Team's varsity jacket. "It's like being on set." Boruto laughed.
"Tanaka forgot his jacket and didn't want to look stupid," Nishinoya smirked.
Tanaka slapped his forehead. "I said you didn't have to. I was just kidding!"
"It makes all of us look younger, so why not?" Sugawara laughed and patted Boruto's shoulder as he entered. "Nice place."
"Make yourself at home," Boruto smiled, easily forgetting it wasn't even his house, to begin with. "Uh, I mean, this is Sarada's condo but I'm sure she would say the same thing. She's in the living room."
They all entered, Kiyoko being the last. She handed him a paper bag, and Boruto looked inside. It was also a Karasuno jacket. One that Sarada hasn't put on yet.
"Thanks, Kiyoko. I'm sure she'll love it."
The manager smiled and entered the condo, looking around as well.
Boruto closed the door and rushed over to Sarada, telling Asahi he can put the food on the counter and he'll be there in a second.
Shoyo was glaring at Boruto when he was back, eyes trained on him. "Why did you make Sarada-chan cry?"
"I-what?" Boruto pouted and looked at Sarada, who wasn't looking at him. "I didn't do anything, okay?" He pushed Shoyo off the couch to stretch Sarada's leg on it. When he was happy with the position of her foot, he reached for the bandage and proceeded to wrap her ankle with it.
"Too tight?" He peeked at her face, not wanting to hurt her. Shoyo was still pouting but didn't say a word.
Tanaka came to the living room, a lollipop in his mouth, and leaned on the back of the couch. "How have you been, Sarada?"
Sarada turned her head to smile at him. "I've been okay. Sad that I can't work, but Boruto is taking good care of me."
Shoyo squinted at Boruto, lower lip jutting out a little more. "So it's all Boruto now that Hōki's gone?"
Tanaka picked up the throw pillow on Sarada's lap and threw it at Shoyo, making the poor boy stumble back. "Idiot we said don't bring it up!"
"Hmph." Sarada turned her nose up, face scrunched in annoyance. "I don't want to hear that name."
"Ouch," Nishinoya came strolling in, holding on to a bottle of beer. "That bad, huh?"
Boruto pouted and finished up bandaging her foot and picked up the pink sock, putting it over Sarada's other foot. "You don't know the half of it." He stood up and handed Sarada the paper bag. "Here you go."
Sarada accepted it, looking slightly surprised but mostly curious. "What is this?" Though she asked, she didn't hesitate to open the bag and toss it aside when she pulled out the jacket. She was perfectly still for all of three seconds before her cheeks puffed out and tears began brimming in her eyes anew. She hugged the jacket to her chest and started crying as badly as she had in the bedroom.
The boys all froze, not knowing what to do.
"T-Tanaka you made her cry!" Shoyo shouted.
"Me? What the fuck it wasn't my idea to bring her the jacket!" Tanaka defended.
"I think it was Sugawara. Or was it Kiyoko?" Nishinoya mused.
Boruto pulled out a few tissues and handed it to her, a small smile on his face. "See? They all miss you and want you to get better." He wiped the tears away with his thumb, tuning the boys out. Kageyama had joined in, too. Quick to blame Shoyo for Sarada's tears.
"Sorry—I'm sorry… I'm… I just love it and I'm so sad." She whined. "I don't want to miss you guys or make you miss me… I want to be on set too."
All the boys stopped fussing and turned to face her, eyes softening.
"Hey, it's no problem. We just want you to get better." Tanaka scratched the back of his head.
"We'll be waiting for you, Sarada-chan!"
"What's all this shouting about?" Sawamura entered the living room, hands on his hips. The team captain really did act the role even outside of the set. "We're almost done unpacking dinner. I hope you don't mind, Sarada. We opened up your kitchen drawers."
Sarada nodded. "Help yourselves. I should be helping." She looked back at Boruto with a pout. "You're not going to let me, are you?"
"Not a chance." He scoffed. "I'll carry you over to the dining table, though."
"Okay." She sighed, finally calming down and wrapping her arms around his neck when he lifted her up.
Boruto carried her effortlessly to the dining table, trying his best to ignore all the eyes on them. The tips of his ears turned red, not used to all the attention. They passed by the kitchen, the older actors giving them the same look the younger ones did. Boruto was ready to combust when he put Sarada down on a chair, noticing Shoyo's phone camera was pointed at them.
"Look at that. He even carries her!" He exclaimed.
"Sh-Shoyo! Put your phone away! Don't post that!" Boruto exclaimed.
"Oh." He blinked. "But it's live."
Tanaka and Kageyama tackled the boy to the ground, Nishinoya scrambling to pick up the phone and end it. It was utter chaos in the dining room, Asahi and Sawamura having to break the boys brawling on the ground apart.
"Fuck. Mitsuki's gonna kill me," Boruto muttered.
"It's my fault because of my ankle. Don't worry about it." Sarada frowned, grabbing and tugging on his sleeve. "Don't be upset, we're having a good time."
"I'm-I'm not. I just have to call Mitsuki." Boruto was already reaching for his phone. This was not supposed to happen.
"What's going on in here?" Kiyoko asked, holding up a stack of plates, Sugawara right behind her holding on to glasses. Her eyes scanned the room and frowned when she saw the boys on the floor and Hinata in a chokehold.
"Sorry, Kiyoko." Sawamura glared at Shoyo but released his hold on him. The boy was gasping for air. "Shoyo put Boruto and Sarada on live."
She blinked. "Oh my." Her hand reached out to him. "How many saw?" She turned her gaze towards Sarada and Boruto. "I'm so sorry. Don't worry about it. I will take care of it."
Sarada grabbed Boruto's wrist and tugged until he sat down next to her. "It's fine. Boruto is my manager and he takes care of me. It's nobody's business except ours."
Boruto's cheeks flushed. It wasn't like Sarada to be so pushy. But she did have a point. "She's right, ya know? People have seen worse." But deep inside, he was itching to text Mitsuki to handle it.
She leaned over to him, lips coming just a breath away from his ear and whispered, "if you get on your phone, I'll make sure I murder it."
Boruto felt the blood drain down his face. Sarada meant business. "Y-yeah. No phones here." He lifted his hands in surrender.
"I know," Kiyoko nodded. "I just want to make sure people don't take it the wrong way." She placed the plates down and walked away from the dining room, pulling her phone out as she did.
The boys took turns scolding Shoyo, but the boy was unapologetic. "I didn't do anything wrong!"
"Take it the wrong way…" Sarada murmured under her breath so quietly Boruto was the only one able to hear her. Her eyebrows narrowed and she chewed on her lip before looking at him with flames of fury in her eyes. "It's a good thing I'm a lady. But I have words… I've got a lot of words to say once we're alone again."
Boruto cringed and reached for her hand under the table and gave it a squeeze. "Just calm down, princess," he whispered. "We're supposed to be having a good time, right?" He smiled at her.
"Right," she smiled back, but it was tight and fake. "I am… I'm having a good time."
Sugawara started setting the table, Asahi and Nishinoya helping out. The rest of the boys transferred the food on the table and started to take their places. Boruto was relieved when Tanaka took the seat next to him, knowing Sarada would have thrown a fit if Kiyoko did instead.
The rest of dinner went by without another hiccup, filled with lively conversation and stories that Sarada missed on set. Kiyoko made it back halfway after they started, eating quietly as the rest talked all over each other.
When it was time for clean up, The older actors made the younger ones finish it off. Shoyo and Kageyama were complaining but Tanaka and Nishinoya put them in line, wanting to hurry so they could all watch a movie.
Boruto carried Sarada back into the living room, no phones this time. Which Boruto was happy for. His phone was buzzing in his pocket but he had to ignore it and just hope Mitsuki was on top of it. He didn't know what Kiyoko meant by taking care of it, and he wasn't so sure if he even wanted her help with this. Sarada was already so touchy with anything related to her, and Sarada had been wanting to be more open about she and Boruto's relationship.
Once settled on the couch, Boruto sat next to her and leaned on her shoulder. "Are you still mad at me?" He pouted, peeking at her through his lashes. Although she was laughing and smiling throughout dinner, Boruto didn't forget that Sarada is, in fact, a spectacular actress.
"No." She smiled at him and he could tell that it was genuine in the way her eyes looked at him so warmly. "I'm not mad at you."
"Oh god," Boruto sighed. It was worse when she was mad at other people. "Princess…" he sat up right and looked at her, a pained smile on his face. "What can I do to make you feel better?"
"Nothing." Her smile faded though she tried to give him a reassuring look. "Not now."
His brows furrowed. "Okay." Boruto switched the television on and flipped on to Ninflix before looking at her once more. "What do you want to watch?"
"Something funny." She said, relaxing and smiling once more.
"Okay, sure." Boruto flipped around the comedies, just in time for Sawamura and Asahi to take their place on the couch, suggesting movies. When they finally settled on one, they waited for the others to come. Boruto stretched his arm to rest at the back rest behind Sarada, feeling much better since her attention was turned to Asahi, who sat next to her.
Shoyo came running in, whining that he couldn't sit next to Sarada. He settled for sitting by her feet instead, stealing the blanket from the other couch to wrap around himself and begrudgingly shared with Kageyama when he sat next to him.
Sugawara dimmed the lights and passed around three bags of chips, which circulated. Boruto wrapped his arm around Sarada, and smiled when she leaned into him. The movie was light and made everyone laugh, including Boruto and Sarada.
The day had been long and tiring, but Boruto was just happy to have Sarada in his arms again. She had another jealous bout, and although he understood it, Boruto still felt a little hurt. Sarada loves him, he knew that. But it was her insecurity caused by the obscurity of their relationship that caused her jealousy. He sighed and leaned on her a little more, knowing full well how to fix it and make her happy.
Once Sarada was feeling better, Boruto promised he would visit her parents and ask them if he could make their daughter officially his.
A/N: We love the boys of Haikyu. Please do give it a watch if you have some time! :)
Stay safe and wash your hands, fam.
Cheers,
Kairi and Tyy
