Louis' Ending

Coming home from the graduation ceremony, Ema was totally done for. She had spend the entire day hugging her teachers goodbye, crying with her friends and simply having a blast with her fellow high schoolers. Yuusuke told her he'd be spending the evening with some of his friends, so she went home alone. She drops her bag next to the couch. So... tired... Ema collapses face first onto the couch, instantly falling asleep.

A few hours later, she awoke, but not on the couch, as she remembered falling asleep on, but in Louis' arms... Louis-san?, she though, startled. She looks around the room, her vision was blurry from sleepiness, but she could tell she wasn't in her room. The walls were painted light blue, and they were covered in posters of celebrities. The room smelled like baked bread, lavender and hot chocolate, unsurprisingly since there was a lavender candle lit on the night stand, next to two cups of hot chocolate. Ema glances over at the sleeping boy besides her. A white fluffly blanket covered the two, Louis was still in his work clothes, as though he'd just gotten home from work as well. She brings her hand to his face, gently caressing his soft cheek. She smiles softly, admiring his handsome features. As she brushes his bangs out of his face, his eyes flutter open.

"Hello Chi-chan," Louis purrs, smiling at the girl.

"L-Louis-san! I'm sorry for waking you up... D-did you move me?"

"I did, I didn't want you to sleep on the couch and catch a cold, so I brought you to my room, I hope you don't mind," Louis says softly.

Louis' voice felt like fur, it was so soft and warm, it was so soothing to hear, it made Ema's heart race. "T-thank you, Louis-san...," she says, blushing. She kisses his jaw. "I really appreciate it."

Louis smiles softly and kisses Ema's forehead. "Anything for you, Chi-chan. Remember, I'm always there if you need me."

Ema giggles. "Everyone needs a Louis-san in their lives," she says, nuzzling her face into his chest.

"Why don't you date me then?," Louis blurts out.

Ema's eyes widen. Did he just say what I think he just said? "W-what?"

"Why don't you just date me then?," Louis repeats, tucking a strand of hair behind Ema's ear.

Ema blushes intensely: "Y-you like me?"

Louis nods: "How couldn't I? Have you seen yourself?" Ema buries her face into Louis' chest, embarrassed by his sudden confession. He chuckles. "I'm sorry, Chi, I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

"I though you just saw me as your Imouto," Ema says, her voice muffled by his shirt.

Louis nods: "I did... But as I spent more and more time with you... I realized that you're all I need. I like you a lot, Chi-chan. It's okay if you don't feel the same way about me, we can stay-"

"I like you too, Louis-san."

"Pardon?"

Ema looks him in the eye: "I like you too, Louis-san. I like you a lot."

Louis blushes at her words and places a loving kiss on her forehead. "Out of thirteen brothers, you pick me?" Ema nods happily. Louis chuckles: "Thank you, Chi-chan, I'm flattered."

Louis leans down and delicately places his lips onto Ema's, kissing her softly. The kiss was as gentle as Louis, it was slow and passionate, it made Ema crave for more.

"I love you, Louis-san."

"I love you too, Chi-chan."

Flashforward (One year later)

Ema and Louis were spending the day together, shopping for their new apartment, when Ema noticed a cute pet store.

"Kitties!," Ema exclaims, dashing towards the store window.

"They're cute, aren't they?," Louis says, carrying bags upon bags of household supplies.

"Can we go see them? Pleeeease!," Ema begs adorably.

Louis chuckles: "Of course, my love."

Ema cheers happily and runs into the store, Louis laughs and follows her behind. The store was adorable, filled with cats, dogs, parrots, bunnies and fishies! Ema took the time to visit each and every one of them. She really wanted a pet, but sadly their apartment didn't allow pets. "You know we can't get them, Chi-chan," Louis reminds her. She pouts. But suddenly, something catches her attention: in one of the bunny pens, there was... a squirrel? Ema gasps softly.

"Lou-kun, look! It's a squirrel!," she exclaims, pointing at the scared little grey squirrel.

Louis peers into the pen: "That's odd, what's a squirrel doing here?"

"The store owner rescued that baby squirrel from a tree," an employee says, "It was alone and scared, and she couldn't find his mother so she took him in. She's not sure what to do with him, so she's been looking for someone who could take care of him."

Ema and Louis look at each other. They then turned their attention onto the adorable squirrel: it was so cute and innocent, he was so tiny, helpless, he almost looked malnourished. They knew they'd regret it if they didn't get him, they didn't have the heart to leave him behind.

"We'll take him," they say in unison.

The squirrel slept in Ema's lap as Louis drove them to the new apartment.

"We need to make sure our landlords don't find out about him," Louis says.

"I know, Lou-kun..," Ema says, gently petting the sleeping creature.

"What should we name him? We haven't found a name for him yet," Louis remarks.

Ema thought for a moment. "Oh yeah, you're right, we haven't!"

"Do you have any name ideas for him?," Louis asks.

"No, not really...," Ema thinks, "Hey, Lou-kun?"

"Yes?"

"R-remember last week when you told me one of your regulars passed away?"

"Yeah?"

"W-what was her name? If you don't mind me asking.."

"Julianna, why?"

Ema peers down at the squirrel and smiles softly. "Juli...," she mumbles.

Louis smiles: "Juli, it's beautiful."

Ema grins at her dashing boyfriend: "Then Juli it is, Asahina Juli."
