Kagome always wondered at the lack of youkai in her era. Now she knew, and it horrified her. She’d made the wrong wish, and they all vanished. Finding that Sesshomaru may hold the answer, she held on to hope. If she could bring him back from the underworld, would he help her find a way to undo her wish? Little did she know, the daiyoukai would do anything for her.

For one frightening moment, Kagome thought she'd be blind forever. Then light filtered through the haze of her vision and she could've cried.

Crawling away from the man, lying motionless on the ground, she blinked up at Rin still trapped in the grip of one of the men.

"You bitch," came the low, angry voice of the leader as he pulled a blade from the pocket of his wrinkled hakama. "Look what you did!"

"He deserved it!" She rasped out, her throat tight.

"You will pay for that," he seethed, the knife pointed at Rin. "An eye for an eye."
