Chapter twenty-four: Yusei and friends do Seaside Island
It was a fairy busy yet lovely morning at the New Domino International Airport. Yusei Fudo, one of the residents of the Atlas Penthouse, along with his roommates Jack Atlas, Crow Hogan and Kalin Kessler, were clearly waiting in line to purchase plane tickets, if the travel cases each of them carried was any indication.
The guys were not alone, either. With Yusei and the guys were their respective significant others; that meant Yusei's girlfriend-turned wife Akiza Fudo (nee Izinski), Jack's girlfriend Carly Carmine, Crow's girlfriend Brianna Stone, and Kalin's girlfriend Bonnie Rockwaller, the newest resident of the Atlas Penthouse, who had just recently moved in.
"I…wasn't aware that your dog could talk, Kalin," Bonnie said as she waited in line, gripping the handle of her luggage.
"Dukey's previous family had twin super geniuses that experimented on him, giving him the ability to walk and talk like any given human," (1) Kalin explained casually as he looked at a pamphlet that he was holding. Looking up from the pamphlet to Yusei who stood in front of him, Kalin said, "So Yusei, why are all eight of us going on this couple's retreat?"
"Akiza and Carly found out about this couple's retreat that's happening and figured that it'd be great to go on," Yusei explained, "And the only reason why Brianna agreed to go is because Carly told her about the quote unquote 'fruity alcoholic drinks' that we'd get to enjoy while we're on the retreat."
"I heard alcohol and that's good enough for me," Brianna pipped up.
"I second that," Crow added, raising a hand. (2)
"What I'm wondering is why Lori couldn't come along," Bonnie remarked as she put her hands on her hips. Bonnie is speaking of Lori Loud, who moved into the penthouse sometime before herself (Bonnie) as she needed a place to stay while she was attending classes at the university that Crow owns, called Hogan University. While living at the penthouse, Lori works as a nanny, helping to look after Yusei and Akiza's infant son Alphonse, along with Leo Wundertwin and his younger twin sister Luna, twins who the guys are responsible for.
"I mean, seriously," Bonnie continued, "Lori's dating that Bobby fellow, right? We could have brought them along so that they could have fun as well."
"If we brought Lori and Boo-Boo Bear along, then who would watch Alphonse and the twins?" Crow pointed out, "Besides, something tells me that those two are going to be spending some time together anyway…"

Over at the Atlas Penthouse, Lori was standing in the living room with her boyfriend Bobby Santiago, who is currently living with relatives of his in New Domino while he's attending classes at Hogan University; after Bobby's first choice of college didn't pan out for various reasons, his family decided that Hogan University was the next best bet.
The two college students stood in the living room as they watched Luna, who was holding a broom, thrust the end of the broom handle at a Mismagius that was in the living room. The Mismagius seemed to be under the impression that it was playing a game with the female Wundertwin, as it was dodging every broom handle thrust with a playful giggle. Standing nearby was Leo, who was watching his younger twin sister panic, a look of amusement on his face.
"Why does Ailor let her Pokémon wander into the penthouse as they please?!" Luna exclaimed as she continued to try to get the Mismagius to go away.
"Zack owns the Mismagius, not Ailor," Leo pointed out as he mentioned Ailor and Zack Fisher, the twin fourteen-year-olds who lived next door to the Atlas Penthouse. Both of them are Pokémon trainers, they and their mother having moved here to New Domino from the Sinnoh region, and their respective Pokémon have a tendency to wander over to play.
Hands on his hips, Leo said, "Why are you even trying to hit Zack's Mismagius with the broom handle? She only wants to play with you, sis."
"Well suddenly appearing behind me and startling me is not the way to go about asking me for anything!" Luna exclaimed.
"Tell me about it," Lori remarked, a knowing look on her face. (3)
After seeing the display of Zack's Mismagius trying to play a game with the female Wundertwin, Bobby turned to face his girlfriend. "Lori, babe, does the neighbor boy really own a ghost as a pet?" Bobby asked with a confused and very mildly freaked look on his face.

"Yep," Crow said to Bonnie over at the New Domino International Airport, "I'm pretty sure that Lori and Boo-Boo Bear will be spending a lot of time together, what with Boo-Boo Bear helping Lori look after the twins and Alphonse while we're all gone for three to four days."
"I still feel kind of guilty leaving Lori behind," Bonnie remarked, "I mean, we've really gotten to know each other over the three days I've been living at the penthouse so far, and I think we're getting to be real close friends."
"Well that's nice to hear," Akiza remarked, "Given that Lori is currently living on the far side of the country away from all of her friends and family, it's nice to hear that the two of you are getting along so well."
"That's all well and good, but keep an eye on the line we're in," Carly said, "We're almost at the counter to pay for our plane tickets."
"Isn't Birdbrain on the no-fly list?" Jack asked rhetorically.
"Actually, they took me off the no-fly list recently," Crow replied, "So I'm allowed to travel by plane again."
"Of course you are," Jack said as he turned back around, silently wishing that Crow was still barred from flying.
Later, Yusei, the guys, and their respective female companions were all flying on a passenger plane, on their way to the couple's retreat. "Ooh, this is interesting," Akiza said as she was reading a magazine. Turning to face Yusei, who sat next to her, Akiza said, "Hey Yusei, there's this article in this magazine I'm reading about a woman living in Sakura New Town over in Japan, who somehow managed to lose roughly two-hundred and fifty pounds without surgery."
"I wasn't aware that the Japanese allowed their citizens to get that big, sumo wrestlers notwithstanding," Yusei replied dryly.
"Here's the thing though," Akiza went on as she turned her eyes back to the magazine article she was reading, "The woman in question lost all of that weight in approximately a week."
A confused look on his face, Yusei turned to face his wife. "…Excuse me?" Yusei asked, "How is it possible to lose that much weight in that short amount of time? I mean, even with surgery, I don't think that the process would be that instant, especially given that-" Yusei was cut off when a gunshot could be heard on the plane, making everyone panic.
"Bloody hell!" Jack swore from where he and Carly sat behind Yusei and Akiza, "Birdbrain is hijacking the fucking plane!"
"Actually, Crow and Brianna are still sitting in front of Akiza and I," Yusei replied as he leaned to his side and turned to face Jack, "So Crow's innocent this time." (4)
"Everyone stay still! We're taking over this plane!" a man holding a gun shouted as he and a few fellows of his came into the aisle of the plane.
Seeing the hijacking that was going on, Crow turned to regard Brianna. "…Ready to become American heroes, babe?" Crow whispered. Brianna only nodded once in the affirmative, giving Crow the confirmation he needed. "Alright, we're going to be using hijacking surviving plan number two B," Crow replied quietly. After Brianna nodded in understanding, Crow turned his head to face into the aisle and got the attention of one of the hijackers.
"Excuse me, sir," Crow began in a calm tone, "But I need your help with something."
"Who the hell are you?!" the hijacker half snapped half asked.
"My name is Alexander Anderson," Crow said. Gesturing to Brianna, Crow continued, "And this is my cousin Seras Victoria. The two of us are traveling by plane to go live with our Granduncle Alucard for the summer, you see."
"So?" the hijacker replied.
"Here's the thing though," Crow continued, "My cousin isn't…properly developed. It's up to me to keep an eye on her while we travel, and just as you and your fellows started hijacking this plane, Seras told me that she needed to use the bathroom."
"Seras need potty," Brianna said in as innocent and childlike of a tone she could manage while sounding like she really needed to use the bathroom.
Scoffing in an annoyed tone, the hijacker said, "Feh, fine." Jerking a thumb over his shoulder, the hijacker said, "Take your retarded cousin to the bathroom."
"I prefer the term 'differently abled', sir," Crow replied as he and Brianna got up and made their way to the bathroom on the plane. Crow and Brianna were able to make their way to the bathroom on the plane without issue, thanks to their acting. As Crow and Brianna made their way past everyone, Yusei and Jack, both of which were seated next to the aisle, looked on.
"…The hell are they planning?" Jack whispered to Yusei.
"Beats me," Yusei replied quietly, "I just hope that they don't try anything-" Yusei was cut off then two gunshots could be heard, followed by two of the hijackers running past Yusei and Jack to see what was going on, followed by a few more gun shots being heard, followed by the sound of someone swinging a lightsaber. A few seconds later, Crow and Brianna came walking past Yusei and Jack; Crow had his Sig Sauer 9MM in one hand and a red lightsaber in the other. Brianna was holding a few guns that were clearly salvaged from slain hijackers.
"Birdbrain, how the bloody fuck did you get your gun onto the plane?!" Jack snapped.
"Dude, why are you complaining?" Crow retorted, "I just took out, like, four of the hijackers."
"That still doesn't excuse the fact that you brought a bloody fucking gun onto the plane!" Jack exclaimed, "Do you WANT to get back onto the no-fly list?!"
Sighing in an exasperated tone, Crow said, "Fine, I hid my gun securely in my anus before we left the penthouse."
"I'm surprised the metal detector didn't catch it," Akiza remarked casually, "And while we're on the subject, how did you sneak one of your lightsabers onto the plane?"
"Crow's lightsaber was securely hidden in my anus," Brianna replied, "And all of the extra guns were looted from the hijackers that Crow killed."
"Anywho, we're going to clear the rest of the hijackers now, excuse us," Crow said as he and Brianna made their way up to the front of the plane. After Crow and Brianna disappeared, Yusei and Jack leaned to the side so they could turn their heads to face each other.
"…We ought to check this out, Jack," Yusei said as he got up, with Jack getting up as well. Seeing his roommates walk to the front of the plane, Kalin got up and went after them, with Akiza, Carly and Bonnie staying in their seats, partly out of fear.
In the cockpit of the plane, two dead airline pilots were laying against the one side of the cockpit while two hijackers piloted the plane. As they piloted the plane, the door burst open as Crow and Brianna came in. Crow impaled the one hijacker through the back with his lightsaber while said hijacker was seated, and Brianna shot the other in the back of the head. With all of the hijackers now dead, Crow and Brianna quickly removed them from the seats, threw them to the floor, and sat in the pilot and co-pilot seats.
As Crow and Brianna started to pilot the plane, Yusei, Jack and Kalin came into the cockpit. "What the hell are you two doing?" Yusei asked.
"We're trying to get this plane back to the New Domino International Airport," Crow explained, "There was an attempted hijacking just now, and even though all of the hijackers are dead, we still need to-" Crow was cut off when the plane started shaking violently, complete with random beeping and other noises that sound when something is wrong.
"Holy shit, we're going down!" Brianna shouted in a panic, "Did one of the gunshots destroy something that's vital to keep the plane working?"
"No babe," Crow said as he pointed to something on the console of the plane, "The plane's tank is empty! We're out of gas!"
"The people at the airport forgot to make sure the plane was fueled properly before takeoff?!" Jack exclaimed in a clearly pissed tone as the plane started going down.

On a sandy beach on the side of an island, a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog wearing a bandana around his neck, a pink anthropomorphic hedgehog wielding a rather large hammer, a red anthropomorphic echidna, a yellow anthropomorphic fox with two tails who wore a pair of goggles on his head, and a brown anthropomorphic badger wearing a tribal-like outfit were facing off against a large group of robots that ranged in size from being the size of a Border Collie to the size of an Irish Wolfhound. Some of the robots could also fly, and those were the size of slightly larger-than-normal bald eagles.
Floating in some sort of half-pod flying vehicle was a notably well-fed human with an impeccable moustache. (5) Pointing at the humanoid animal people, the human said, "It's time for you and your friends to go down once and for all, Sonic!"
"Fat chance, Eggface," the blue hedgehog person said, "This is going to end as it always does and you know it!"
"Sonic, Eggman's brought a lot more robots than usual," the pink hedgehog remarked in a mildly worried tone.
"Relax, Amy," the blue hedgehog, apparently named Sonic, replied in a confident tone to his pink companion, "We got this in the bag."
"Hey dude, wanna bet I can take out more robots than you?" the red echidna said to Sonic.
"Let me at 'em, let me at 'em!" the badger said, clearly hungry for a fight.
"Guys, I think Amy might have a point here," the yellow fox with two tails said, "I mean, look at how many robots we're facing this time. Nothing short of a miracle will-" The yellow fox with two tails was cut off when a passenger plane crash-landed on the beach, crushing all of the robots that the talking humanoid animals were facing.
"My robots! No!" the man in the floating vehicle said. Turning around, the man said as he flew away, "I'll get you next time, Sonic and friends! I'll get you next time!" After the man was gone, Sonic, the pink hedgehog apparently named Amy, and the other three humanoid talking animals all turned to regard the crashed plane. Suddenly, a door on the side of the plane popped off, and Yusei, Jack, Crow and Kalin jumped out and landed on the beach.
"Great, we crash landed on an island somewhere," Jack remarked in a clearly annoyed tone, "This is just like that popular show about people getting stranded on an island!"
"The one with the fat guy that had really long hair?" Crow asked.
Pointing to Crow, Jack said, "That's the one."
"Umm, excuse me," Sonic said, getting the guys to turn and face him. Upon seeing Sonic and his group, the guys were surprisingly calm about seeing anthropomorphic animals that can talk. (6) "You guys kind of look like Eggman," Sonic began, "Are you working with him?"
"Who the fuck is Eggman?" Yusei asked.
Shaking his head, Sonic replied, "Never mind. You clearly don't know him, and you did destroy a bunch of his robots just now, even though it was by accident."
"I…take it that this Eggman fellow isn't all that nice?" Kalin asked.
"You got it right on the money," Sonic said as he walked up to the guys. Gesturing to himself, Sonic said, "The name's Sonic. Nice to meetcha." Gesturing to the Amy, the fox, the echidna and the badger in that order, Sonic said, "These are my friends Amy, Tails, Knuckles and Sticks. We all live here on Seaside Island."
"Is there at least some manner of civilization on this island?" Jack asked.
"Well, there's the town," Tails remarked.
"Oh, thank goodness!" Jack exclaimed as he fell to his knees and raised his hands into the air as if he were praying.
"Let's just get the girls and all of the other people out of the plane first," Yusei remarked as he gestured to the plane, "Then we can head into town and try and contact the mainland so we can get back home."
"Sounds like a plan," Sonic replied as he and the rest of his friends proceeded to help Yusei and the guys get the girls and everyone else out of the crashed plane. Once the last of the people were out of the plane, and once everyone got over the shock of seeing anthropomorphic talking animals, Sonic and his friends led the humans into town.
As Amy was looking after the bulk of the human passengers from the crashed plane over in town, and while Sticks was helping Akiza and the girls with looking around the market, Sonic, Knuckles and Tails were talking with Yusei and the guys over at Tails' home-slash workshop. "…Thus, Brianna and I killed all of the hijackers, saving the day as a result," Crow said as he was wrapping up the story of how the plane crashed on Seaside Island, "We ended up crashing on the beach a few minutes later because, as it turned out, the people at the airport forgot to check to see if the plane had enough fuel."
"Umm, I have a question," Tails said as he raised a hand, "How did you say you and your girlfriend managed to sneak weapons onto an airplane?"
"We hid them up our butts," Crow replied casually, drawing some snickering out of Sonic and Knuckles. Crow proceeded to snicker a bit himself.
Sighing in a resigned tone, Tails said, "Just be sure to wash your hands, alright?"
"So, what are you guys going to do now?" Sonic asked the guys once his and Knuckles' snickering died down enough.
"Figure out how to get back to the mainland," Yusei replied, "That's where we live. Besides, I have an infant son to look after, along with two foster kids that my friends and I here are responsible for."
"I have a ham radio I can use to try and reach someone on the mainland so we can call for a rescue team to get you and everyone else from the plane back home," Tails offered.
"Uhh, Tails?" Sonic began, "Sticks destroyed your ham radio last week because she thought the government was trying to use it to read her mind, remember?" (7)
"…I have a broken ham radio that I can fix in about an hour or so, after which time I can use it to try and reach someone on the mainland so we can call for a rescue team to get you and everyone else from the plane back home," Tail said to Yusei and the other penthouse guys.
"So, what are we going to do while were waiting for your friend here to fix his ham radio?" Kalin asked.
"Well, I guess that Knuckles and I can show you and your friends around," Sonic replied with a shrug, "I mean, better something than nothing."
Yusei and the other guys all exchanged looks for a few seconds before Yusei turned to face Sonic, Knuckles and Tails. "Ehh, why not?" Yusei said, "At least we'll get to see some sights."
Later, Sonic and Knuckles were showing Yusei and the other penthouse guys around the main town on the island. "Wow, for a city that's on an island in the middle of the open sea, this place is surprisingly developed," Kalin remarked as he looked around.
"Yeah, we're pretty awesome here, aren't we?" Knuckles replied.
"Hey, I don't suppose there's anyplace around here where we can grab lunch, is there?" Yusei asked, "Because the only food that my friends and I have reasonable access to is what little food in the airplane that wasn't ruined in the crash."
"Airplane food?" Knuckles remarked in a mildly disgusted tone, "Yeah, forget that." Turning to regard Sonic, Knuckles said, "Yo Sonic, why don't we take the guys here to Meh Burger?"
"Meh Burger isn't that much better than airplane food," Sonic replied to Knuckles in a deadpan tone, "It's barely a step up."
"Well what other choice do we have?" Knuckles said, "At least Meh Burger has hot food."
"If by hot you mean room temperature," Sonic deadpanned again.
"Meh, I could go for a burger," Crow replied, "Just lead the way, blue hedgehog dude." With an understanding nod, Sonic gestured for everyone else to follow him.
A few minutes later, Sonic, Knuckles and the penthouse guys were all sitting at Meh Burger, enjoying lunch. "Mmm, that was pretty good," Yusei remarked, "Granted, Sonic had a point about Meh Burger hardly being better than airplane food, but it was still better than the alternative nonetheless."
"Hey Sonic," Knuckles began, "Once Tails gets his radio made of ham working and he calls for someone to come pick up everyone from the crashed airplane, how long do you think it will take for someone to show up?"
"Beats me," Sonic replied with a shrug, "Tails should be able to give you a better answer, though. Try asking him for an estimate once we meet up with him again."
"Well alright," Knuckles said before picking up another burger, "I was just thinking that if the guys were going to be sticking around for long enough, that they could come with us to the concert tonight."
"There's going to be a concert tonight?" Jack asked.
"Oh yeah," Sonic remarked as his memory was sparked, "There's going to be this concert that's going to be performed later tonight. Pretty much the entirety of the island's population is going to be attending."
"Do you know who's performing?" Yusei asked.
With a shrug, Sonic answered, "I don't know. All I do know is that the band is composed of some girl, another girl that the first girl is dating, and like three other teens." After taking a sip of his soda, Sonic continued, "Sticks told me that she listens to the first girl's music all the time, and that it's some of the best that she's ever heard in her entire life."
"Well with vouching like that, who are we to decline heading to the concert if we got the time?" Crow replied.
"Vouching that came from the badger girl who destroyed a ham radio because she thought the government was trying to use said ham radio to read her mind," Jack pointed out in a deadpan.
With a shrug, Crow said, "I've heard reasons that were less legit, and those reasons were still pretty damn legit."
"You know, I bet that Bonnie would like it if I took her to a concert," Kalin remarked, "It could be, like, our first official date."
"But what would Bonnie's older brother Clemont say if he heard that you took his little sister to a concert without informing him first?" Crow asked. (8)
Giving his broom-headed roommate a confused look, Kalin said, "Uhh, Bonnie doesn't have any brothers as far as I'm aware. All she had were two older sisters."
"Well isn't this nice?" Knuckles remarked, "We're learning more about each other, thus becoming closer friends as a re-" Knuckles was cut off when he and the others all heard an explosion coming from somewhere in the city. "…Eggman's up to something, isn't he?" Knuckles asked in a deadpan.
"Come on, let's go!" Sonic said as he and everyone else got up from the table they sat at and ran out of Meh Burger. After they had left, Dave the intern came out and saw that the guys had left a few burgers, some of which were half-eaten.
"You forgot the rest of your meal, sirs!" Dave the intern called out after the guys as they all left to go deal with Eggman. Sighing in a resigned tone, Dave the intern proceeded to collect the leftover uneaten burgers, with the intent to toss them out, while saying, "Meh, their loss. No one around these parts appreciates quality food these days." (9)
As Sonic, Knuckles and the penthouse guys showed up in the main square of the village, they saw Dr. Eggman flying around in his flying vehicle. A number of Eggman's robots were also running about, attacking pretty much everything within sight. Around the time that the guys showed up, Amy and Sticks ran onto the scene as well. Likewise, Tails came running in.
"I heard the explosion from my workhouse," Tails said as he came up to Sonic and the others.
"Sticks and I got the girls to safety before we came here," Amy remarked as she pulled out her large hammer.
"Well at least Akiza and the others are all safe," Yusei remarked. Turning to face what was going on, Yusei pointed at Dr. Eggman. "Hey, fat guy in the red suit!" Yusei shouted, "It's nowhere near time for Christmas!"
"Who was that?!" Dr. Eggman exclaimed in an annoyed tone as he turned to face the penthouse guys, Sonic and Sonic's friends. "Hey!" Dr. Eggman exclaimed as he pointed to the penthouse guys, "You four are the fellows who destroyed so many of my robots!"
"And we'll destroy more of them if you don't stop what you're doing!" Crow exclaimed back as he pulled out his Sig Sauer 9MM, aimed it at one of the wasp robots, and shot it a few times, taking it down as a result. Pointing the gun at Dr. Eggman, Crow said, "And that there was a warning, fatass!"
"…Wow, using vulgar language and firearms?" Amy remarked in a concerned tone, "I think that might be going a bit far."
"Amy, these guys clearly know what the fuck they're doing," Sticks remarked in an annoyed deadpan, "So chill your tits and clean the sand out of your vagina."
After snickering a bit, Knuckles pointed to Sticks and said, "She said sand." (10)
Sonic then leapt up, curled into a ball, spun really, really fast, then proceeded to roll at some of Eggman's robots, destroying a few upon impact. Sonic then leapt up while in ball form, then flew at a few more robots, smashing them instantly. "You're too slow!" Sonic taunted at Eggman as he (Sonic) smashed robot after robot.
"Come on, guys," Knuckles said, "We can't let Sonic have all the fun, can we?"
"Well I think that-" Jack began, but he was cut off when a group of about four of the wasp robots flew in and fired laser shots at Jack, striking him repeatedly all over his body while making him cry out in great pain. After he was assaulted like that for a few seconds, he fell over onto the ground, where Yusei rushed over and bent down to check for a pulse.
"Jack's dead!" Yusei exclaimed, "Fuck!"
"Yeah, fuck this," Kalin said as he took his lightsaber off of his belt and turned it on. The wasp robots that shot Jack to death proceeded to open fire on Kalin, but Kalin deflected every shot that was fired at him back with his lightsaber. The shots were returned to the wasp robots, who were damaged when they were hit, going down as a result.
"Wait a minute," Crow began as he shot at a few of the crab robots, "Kalin, how did you manage to bring your lightsaber with you onto the plane?"
"I told the airport employees that it was an empty water bottle," Kalin replied.
"So, Brianna hid my lightsaber up her remarkably fine rear end for nothing?" Crow exclaimed as he used his own lightsaber to cut another wasp robot in half. As Crow, Kalin and Sonic were destroying robot after robot, the rest of Sonic's friends went into action, while Yusei just stood there doing nothing.
"…Umm, could I borrow a weapon?" Yusei asked.
"Here, you can use my gun," Crow said as he dashed over and handed Yusei his Sig Sauer 9MM and a few clips for it.
"At least I'm wearing gloves," Yusei remarked in a mildly disgusted tone as he received the gun that had been up Crow's butt. Taking aim, Yusei shot at and took down a few of Eggman's robots. "At least it's still functional," Yusei said as he took down his fourth robot. After about another half a minute or so, the remaining penthouse guys, Sonic and all of his friends had destroyed the last of the robot that Eggman had brought with him.
"Curse you, Sonic!" Eggman said as he flew away in his flying vehicle, "And all of your friends, too! Curse you all!" After Eggman was out of sight, Yusei, Crow and Kalin all turned to face Sonic, Knuckles, Amy, Tails and Sticks.
"We're sorry that your friend was killed," Sonic said to Yusei in an apologetic tone while gesturing to Jack's dead body.
With a shrug, Yusei replied, "Meh, it's not going to last long." (11)
That night, the remaining penthouse residents that were on Seaside Island went with Sonic and his friends to the concert that was being performed. "You're totally going to enjoy this girl's music, you guys," Sticks said, "That girl who's performing is a legend!"
"Well if she's as good as you say," Crow began, "Then I'm sure that-" Crow was cut off when he, Yusei and Kalin all heard a girl's voice shout from the stage, a voice that they were all too familiar with. Turning to face the stage, Yusei, Crow and Kalin saw, to their surprise, that the girl that was performing was Luna Loud, along with a band consisting of four other teens, one of which was the blonde-haired girl with a streak of blue in her hair.
"That's one of Lori's younger siblings!" Yusei exclaimed as he pointed to where Luna was performing on stage, "How the hell did she get here?!"
"We can ask her after the concert," Crow said, "Although I never would have expected any of Lori's siblings to be here, especially the one that I'm personally friends with. It's quite the coincidence, huh?" Yusei and Kalin nodded along as they, along with everyone else, proceeded to listen to the rest of the concert.

"Dude!" Luna said as she and Crow high fived, "I never expected to see you here!"
"The guys, our respective girls and I were on a plane to a couple's retreat when the plane went down on this island," Crow explained, "Jack was killed before we came to the concert, so Yusei, Kalin, myself, Akiza, Carly, Brianna, Kalin's new girlfriend Bonnie, and the rest of the survivors from the plane crash need a lift back to the mainland."
"You can come with us," the blonde-haired girl with Luna offered, "There should be more than enough room on the ship that brought us here."
"Sam's right, bros," Luna remarked, "We totally got enough room on the boat."
"What kind of a boat is it?" Yusei asked.

At the docks, Yusei, Crow and Kalin saw that the ship that had brought Luna, Sam and their bandmates was a large commercial shipping vessel, the kind used to ship large amounts of cargo over oceans from one continent to another. "Yeah," the musically inclined Loud sister said as she jerked a thumb at the shipping vessel, "This is the ship that brought us here."
"…This should work," Yusei remarked.
Back in New Domino, Yusei and the other penthouse residents that left on the trip entered the penthouse. "Hoo boy, that was one hell of a trip," Crow exclaimed as he and everyone else walked into the living room, "I hope that-" Crow was cut off when he saw that a Togekiss was in the living room, nuzzling affectionately against Lori, who smiled gently as she petted the Jubilee Pokémon. "…The hell is the neighbor girl's Togekiss doing here?" Crow asked.
"Well after the that one pet belonging to the neighbor boy went home," Lori explained, "Bobby got a little sick after eating some of the leftovers from the dinner that you made last night, Dean Crow." Patting the Togekiss on the head, Lori continued, "Then this little fellow came over, used some sort of power on my Boo-Boo Bear, and he was instantly cured of the sickness that he got."
"Hmm, must have been Togekiss's Heal Bell," Yusei remarked.
"Then Leo's sister was acting up again," Lori added, "Upon which this little fellow blasted her with a bright display of lights that threw her into the sofa." Lori then jerked a thumb over her shoulder, pointed to where Luna Wundertwin laid on the living room sofa.
"And that should have been Togekiss's Dazzling Gleam," Crow said as he guessed what attack that Ailor's Togekiss used to help Lori subdue the female Wundertwin.

9. Dave the intern didn't bother collecting the half-eaten burgers to sell to others because I think that would have been completely disgusting. Although if Meh Burger is as low quality as it is in the show, I wouldn't be surprised if Dave the intern would actually do something along those lines.
10. Knuckles isn't depicted as being all too bright in the series proper, remember?

And…there's block six finished. Anywho, the next chapter will feature the guys going to a show that I'm surprised that I didn't think of using before now, given that I have New Domino set as suburb of San Francisco. Hopefully the next chapter will make up for my lack of foresight.
