"I love you." It was simple. Fred had said these words while making the kids, who were now 5 years old, take a bath. They were playing with water and it had just.. slipped. Hermione stopped dead in her tracks and so did Fred.
"C-can we talk about that later?" She said. Fred knew that they were done. It was that simple. After tucking in the kids, his heart thudded against his chest. He didn't want it to end.
"I-I love you too. But," Here's the but.
"I gettit Hermione. You want to end this?" He asked hesitantly.
"What? No. I- look I was saying that I love you but the kids... I think they are gonna go and I don't know if I can take it. I don't want us to be one of those parents. You fell in love with me because of the kids, the project.."
"What? No. I liked you since your 3rd year. The saving Sirius? The time turner. Ans yes, I know. The punch to Malfoy's face? I've liked you since."
"Really?" Fred nodded. He was ecstatic. She bit her lip and pulled him in for a kiss. This got into a heated session. Hands everywhere. Fred lead her to their room. He slowly slid off her shirt and looked at her bosom. She looked like a goddess. Her swollen lips and all. She smirked at him.
"Common, you. Remove this." she said pointing towards the shirt and pants. And so, within a blink they both are out of their dresses. Fred slides along his slim fingers across her body, teasing in between. She proceeds to nibble on his lips and bite his tongue. Things go barbaric from there. It's all hot and sweaty. But by the end, they were making love.
"I love you" was said softly by the both of them, before collapsing and cuddling until they fell asleep...
