Fairy Tail Minus One Chapter 26: The hunt begins

Meanwhile over the skies of Fiore
The remaining Dragon Protection Squad are staring down at the Serenity forces as they soar over the skies. They see Belserion and Frankie clashing with each other causing shockwaves to appear everywhere.
"Look at Belserion go!" Weislogia said to his comrade.
"His power is still so strong even after all these years."Skiadrum replied.
"As expected from the King of Sage Dragons ."Wessligoia stated.
"Cease your foolish halt into Dragonv, it's a losing battle." Belserion said to Franir as he threw a punch towards the dragon only for the golden dragon to evade it with a sidestep.
"Now? Your queen is incapacitated and so are two of your Dragon protection squad comrades, I think it's a great time to attack your forces."Franir replied as he throws a right hook towards Belserion but the Sage Dragon blocks with his forearm
"Are you that threatened by us or is your power beginning to wane and you fear your days are numbered?" Belserion asked him as they clashed flying within the air
"Unlikely, it's more like your days are numbered. You're slower than you were before Belserion!" Franir replies as he descends and goes to set up his attack."Gold Dragon: Imperial Thorns" Shouts Franir as he hits the ground creating Golden spikes into the ground which then go to attack Belserion in the form of Tendrils but the Sage Dragon dodges the attack.
"Secret Dragon Art: Sage Dragon Wrath."Belserion chanted as he swipes his claw with hundreds of beams appearing within the area of Belserions swipe, they all fire at Franir sending hundreds of homing blasts towards the dragon but Franir evades the powerful beams of red light that explode, the blasts hit all around Franir as he barely dodged them. The area around them becomes a desert-like terrain as the blasts Beslerion fired vaporized anything it touches.
Both dragons then flew at each other moving so fast that not even Wessligoia and Skiadrum can see each other, they were moving with such speed they were appearing like blurs, however, their shockwaves were uplifting and tossing rocks up into the sky within a city block radius of their clashes.
"Damn look at them go!" Wesslogia said to his partner.
"They're moving so fast I can barely keep up " Skiadrum replied.
"We're dealing with Master class Dragons, these dragons were around for 1,000 years, they're power barely waned." Wesslogia responded pointing at their power as the two dragons charged up magic in their mouths.
"Sage Dragon Roar!" Belserion chanted as he shot a large blast of scarlet energy at Franir.
"Gold Dragon Roar!" Franir countered as he fired his large scale blast of golden energy at Belserion.
Both attach collide and create a massive explosion that can be seen across the battlefield The blast sends debris and dust miles into the air with the blinding light of the explosion causing all the troops within both sides of the border to go blind temporarily.
"Such an intense battle!" one of the Dragonv troops said to them.
"This is beyond our ability to comprehend." one of the soldiers replied as they are blinded by the intense light.
Both Beslerion and Franir were both still standing from the battle, neither was even scratched, both were within a smoke cloud as wide as Crocus as all the trees, rocks and everything around them vaporized.
"Good thing we're away from our army or that attack would've killed everyone on both sides." Belserion said to the Golden Dragon King.
"That's where we differ, i can care less about killing those human insects, you, on the other hand, protect them, such worthless creatures are to be conquered and enslaved, not to be given the same rights us their superior beings."Franir explained his stance against humans to the Sage Dragon.
"All the more reason I must stop you, you are the very thing Dragnov fights against." Belseiron explained to Franir.
"And you're everything that the Serenity Empire hates." Franir replied as they went to fight each other.
Scared Desert, Zen-Jericho Border
February 7, X390
9:00 A.M.
Irene and Victor look for the hidden city within the desert of the kingdom. The scorching hot desert proves to be a tough task for them. The intense heat was bearing down on them as they searched for the pieces. They have trekked miles in the desert creating a long path of footprints while on camels.
'Couldn't you make something to help us find this thing any faster?" Irene asked him.
"It would defeat the point of hiding them, the last thing we need is the Tartarus Guild or any enemy for that matter using this for their purposes." Victor answered.
"You think Anna can hold out ?" Irene asked him.
"I don't wish to even think of the things they're doing to her...Those bastards would pay"Victor replied pissed at the idea his daughter was in harm's way.
"Sorry for bringing that up." Irene replied.
"Anna is of a very strong will, as long as she maintains her mental defenses, she should bear any pain directed at her." Victor explained to the Queen of dragons.
"No kidding, if there's one person who won't break, it's her...I just hope she's not hurt too badly." Irene stated.
"Let god protect her from any harm those demons do to her." Victor replied as he prayed for his daughter being okay.
"So any clue where this hidden city is?" Irene asked the Pope.
"It's said to be hidden in Bethlehem and Exodus within the Sacred Desert, a city that was built during the Crocus Empire occupation of the Holy Lands, the ancient city where the lost tomb of the Messiah of Zentopia was buried who was killed 2,000 years prior. The city was abandoned as Crocus Zentopians eventually found the city and further buried it, it was chosen as a place to hide the Infinity Clock circle piece by the people who made the Infinity Clock." Victor explained the past about the hidden past of the desert.
They then encounter a weird glyph on the ground. The glyph was made of gold.
"There is, we found it." Victor said to Irene as he raised the glyph to form the ground.
"So this is where we enter." Irene asked him.
"Get the camel's back, I need to open this one carefully, we must avoid the enemy knowing we are here. If we open this incorrectly, we risk falling violently down a sandpit. Given the dune deposits around here, we can be looking at a 200-meter plunge." Victor explained to Irene as he forms a small energy point where he opens the door, revealing a secret stairway passage for us to open.
"Whoa, we did it!" Irene said to Victor.
"Anyone unfamiliar with this kind of seal would be doomed to fall to their deaths"Victor explained to Irene as they walked door the stairs, avoiding the sand put as the surface door closed.
"Gotta admire the architecture of the Zentopian Church, they know how to build a well-hidden base.''Irene said to the pope.
"It's to do anything to protect their darkest secrets from leaking out." Victor replied as they walked down to the lower level.
They arrived at a sealed golden door where the golden vault door covered with the Zentopian Insignia is at, a door made of Anti Magic Maginium that was indestructible.
"A Maginium Door, you made sure no one can get through."Irene said to the pope as she knocked on the heavy door as a dull thud resounds.
'The door is protected with a password magic spell in which it only opens by the ancient language of Zentopia." Victor said to the Queen of dragons.
"What is the password of these doors?'Irene asked Victor.
"A chi Dio entry( Latin for To whom god enters)" Victor chanted as the door opened up.
"Whoa, it worked!" Irene stated.
"The Lost Language of the Original Zentopians, only those within the Zentopian Clergy still known this lost league, a language replaced by Fiorian, Midian, Boscan, and Sevenite language we speak." Victor explained to Irene as the door opened up to reveal a 30-meter tunnel they wanted to reveal a constructed room that looks much more recent than the ruins around it with two Circle emblems with the Zentopia Sign on them.
"So this is the Holy Tomb? Looks like you guys reconstructed it a bit more recently." Irene said to Victor as they walked around the place.
"We built over the entrance to the tomb to ensure that this site was not raided by grave robbers or those seeking the Zentopian Infinity Clock Piece." The Pope stated.
"Almost 400 years ago, The Heartfillas found this previously lost tomb and reconstructed the tomb entrance to building the Maginium defenses. The door is set to lock onto anyone not bearing the Zentopain Crest, trapping them here forever.''Victor explained to Irene as he revealed the door was open thanks to his crest. He then goes to the center of the room and opens up one of the big circles which reveal to be the door.
"Whoa!" Irene said to him.
"You must turn the crest counterclockwise in the middle of the room, if not, you would trigger a trap where there are Four faces with spikes in the ruins with multiple other pillars attempting to crush you. The traps are magic resistant and this puzzle adapts, if you don't bear the crest and you turn it counter wise, you're still going to get crushed." Victor explained to Irene about the death traps laid around the place.
"Man glad i have someone familiar with this." Irene started sweating.
"To become the Pope, you must know how the Infinity Clockworks and the temples, hopefully, the rest figure out the traps." Irene said to him hoping the rest are safe.
Meanwhile within Mount Altania
Within a large caldera within an extinct volcano lies a mountain within the Mount Atlantia region where the church once was hidden within the mountain. Around the forest inside the Caldera is a landbridge hill going up to the church.
"So this is the Mount Altania Temple?" Rick said to his partner.
"One of the lost Churches within Zentopia." Eric replied as they walked up the landbridge.
"This church was built 2,000 years ago when Crocus Zentopians were under Crocus Empire persecution and built a hidden church within the mountains which have a Labyrinth within the tunnels only the most devout follower knows the path." Rick explained to his partner about the history of this hidden church.
"We've sinned quite a lot, hopefully, we can get through this church." Eric stated.
"Amen brother, hate to die in a place like this" Rick replied.
They arrived at the front door. The church has been abandoned for over 300 years with a large golden door sealing the entrance.
"Where's the door to this place?" Eric asked his friend.
"Right there, a door made of Maginium " Rick answered pointing to the golden door.
"They were serious about keeping out intruders" Eric stated.
"NONE SHALL ENTER!" Said a voice revealing to be a golem within the door. The golem appears from the walls with his head and arms coming out ready to battle.
"A Guardian?" Eric asked as he evaded a punch from the guardian golem.
"Probably the last line of defenses" Rick replied as they avoided the Golems strikes.
"Light Arrow Rain!" Eric shouts as he fires 50 arrows at the Golem but the Golem wasn't even scratched.
"Darkness Wave!"Rick chanted as he fired a powerful wave of dark energy towards the golem from his sword slash arc but it doesn't do anything either.
"RRAGH" The golem roared as it shot Eye Lasers towards them causing the two to evade as the laser effortlessly slices through boulders. It then goes to charge up another Eye Laser towards them.
"The eye, that's the weak point." Rick said to Eric.
"Gotcha! Light Arrow!" Eric chanted as he shot an arrow into the eye of the golem, disabling the defenses and allowing for the door to open." It worked."
The two of them walk inside only to see strange floating rock cubes with arrows on them.
"Floating rock cubes?" Eric asked.
"They have strange markings on them?" Rick answered.
"I think those arrows might help us lead to something." Eric stated as he looked at the arrows.
"Maybe we need to put them in that Zentopian Emblem.' Rick replied as he aimed his magic at the cubes.
They use their magic within their hands to control all the floating rock cubes and put them in the right order to open the door.
"Looks like it works!" Eric said to his partner.
"Don't just celebrate yet, we got more to get through!"Rick replied as they saw a chasm in the room with more cubes.
"One wrong move and we fall into the base of the mountain, that's a good 3km drop, no surviving that." Eric said to his partner.
"Probably deeper, this entire region is a dead Volcano that's been dead for thousands of years early Zentopians who built this temple in this mountain range knew it would be a good place to hide a whole temple."Rick explained to his partner about the layout of the church.
"They also designed these elaborate layouts as well to ensure that there's no chance of anything getting into the church." Eric replied as they guided the rocks to walk on as they walked down the dark empty room.
Back at the Holy Tomb of Terrahem
They walk around the necropolis of Terrahem where they see a path of tombs and coffins within their path. There was a row of tombs around here.
"So many tombs here!"Irene said to him as she looked at the tombs.
"This is the underground city of Terrahem, this is the cites graveyard area where they entombed the dead, for centuries before the destruction of the city, Terrahem was the center of the early Zentopian Religion."Victor explained to Irene the history of the tombs.
"Let's resume our search !" Irene stated.
"Remember, we're to wait until the demons appear, take something from them, then we give the scent to the dragons." Victor said to her.
"Right! We got to make sure we don't get caught." Irene replied.
"These cloaks we're wearing hide our magical output, they can't sense us, we just have to stay hidden from them." Victor said to her as they walked around the place.
They walk further down when they see the city of Terrahem, they see houses built out of clay and rock alongside some Ancient Crousan buildings and pillars. They also see the place littered with skulls, skeletons, and abandoned rusted weapons. At the center of the town lies the Clock Piece.
"This would be the perfect place to hide" Victor said to Irene.
"In skeletons?Urgh? "Irene said, grossed out.
"These bones have been here for centuries, likely victims of the Crousan Empire, we need a way to hide" Victor stated.
"Point, just wish it was less corpsey" Irene replied as she went into the pile of skulls.
"When I was an Archbishop under Zentopia, my entire unit was wiped out by dragons, I survived by hiding amongst the dead and escaped to live another day."Victor responded as he hid in the skulls."Our white cloaks should camouflage us within the skulls.' Victor said to Irene.
"Urgh, the things i do for friends!" Irene replied as she felt grossed out.
Meanwhile within Jugina
Rena and Kinata were searching the dense jungles of the countryside. The country which would later become the country known as Dessrito was a dense mountainous Subtropical country, the Dragon War was such damage to the world that the climate of this tropical land would change forever.
"Where's this clock piece?" Rena asked her.
"According to the Pope, we should be near here. God this country sucks, under the Serenrites, we can't even find a shop to get some good ale, those fanatical Serenity Zentopians banned alcohol." Kinata whined as she was out of booze.
You love drinking don't you?" Rena asked her, rolling her eyes.
"As much as I love doing this" Kinata replied as she groped Rena.
"Hey, stop that as she covers her chest in embarrassment.." Rena shouted as they walked in the swamp, However, they hear the sound of gators.
Around them were 5 large gators, the height of a large building, and as long as a small manor. Their heads were shaped like Hippos but had razor-sharp teeth along with two tusks on the lower chin and had four enlarged fangs at the four corners of the mouth. They had a rhino-like horn on the bridge of their nose. These things were as big as Dragons.
"Those are Jungian Swamp Gators Anna told us about!" Rena said to Kinata.
"We have a similar type within Cina. The one thing we've been taught is to run at sight from them. Their jaws are strong enough to pierce even Dragon Scales. They're also extremely aggressive combining the aggressive behavior of a Rhino, Hippo, and Alligator" Kinata explained to Rena as the massive gators go to attack them lunging at them at surprisingly high speed but Rena moves her out the way.
"Those things are fast!" Rena said to Kinata as she held to her with her hair.
"I didn't even see it move!" Kinata said to Rena as the monstrous Gators charge at them with their horns. They each evade the horns as the monster goes through several trees.
"We gotta take them out before they blow our cover." Rena said to Kinata as they dodge a jumping bite attack as the Gator rips a large chunk of the ground out and eats it.
"RRRAGH!"One gator roared as it shot a blast of water at them which goes through several trees.
"Pressurized water!" Rena said to Kinata.
"When pressuring their prey, they shoot blasts of water that can stun their prey, mainly dragons.' Kinata said to Rena as these creatures come at them again with their hungry jaws.
"Hair Lock " Rena says as the gator stops in his tracks. "Razor Hair" says Rena as her strands become taut as the gator gets chopped into pieces.
"Whoa, you took him out so easily? I've never seen a human do that before."Kinata said to Rena as one came at them with its open jaws.
"Celebrate later, we need to avoid becoming their food."Rena said to them as she holds back the Gator with her hair strains, preventing it from crushing her with its jaws. Kinata goes to draw a card.
"Perfect! I summon Thy, Calueman Sea Snake." Kinata chanted she summoned a massive sea snake that had very large fangs and seeming no eyes with blue scales that jut out of the body like spikes. The monster had 5 stars of Attack and 4 stars of defense. The Juginan Swamp Gators got scared off and retreat into the rivers
"Whoa looks like we did it" Rena stated.
"Indeed, but the Caleuman Sea Snakes are one of the Apex Predators in the sea, they're capable of swallowing even dragons whole and are fatal to even to dragons. They're one of the few species on the planet where almost every class of dragons fear except for the Water Dragons that's because they can survive water pressure over 10km deep and are highly resistant to damage. Even by Sea Serpents' fierce reputation, they're exceptionally powerful, able to destroy entire cities and leave Islands barren. They are also extremely poisonous" Kinata explained to Rena as the creature goes back into the card and she's left exhausted.
"You okay?" Rena asked.
"Yeah I drew a card stronger than myself, it took a toll on my magic level. I can't draw another card while recovering or I risk damaging my health." Kinata explained to Rena as she revealed that one of the 4 hearts she had was flickering."The higher the summon is to your power, the more of a toll it takes on you." Kinata said to her only to hear large footsteps.
"Serenity soldiers and dragons at 9 o'clock." Rena said to Kinata as they go to hide within the bushes
A small army of 500 troops with 20 Dragons march towards the north. Several horses are carrying Trebuchets as well.
"Dragnov erweist sich als gewaltige Kraft(Dragonv is proving to be a formidable force in Pregrandian)" one of the soldiers said to another.
"Können wir das überhaupt gewinnen?(Can we even win this? in Pregrandian)" one of the soldiers asked.
"Egal, Befehle sind Befehle, wir haben gehört, dass Dragon mit militärischer Gewalt reagiert hat und möglicherweise die Eisberggrenze angreift. Wir müssen diese Grenze verteidigen.(Doesn't matter, orders are orders, we heard that Dragonv has responded with Military force and might be attacking the Iceberg border, we need to go and defend that border in Pregrandian)" the shoulder commander said to them as they marched through the main road up north.
"What you think they're saying?" Kinata asked Rena.
"I don't speak Pregrandian but if i had to guess, they're moving northward towards the border with Iceberg. they must be speaking their native language suspecting there are spies in the country" Rena said to Kinata.
"We can't risk getting caught by them, if they find out about the Clock pieces, things would get much worse." Kinata said to Rena.
"Let's proceed cautiously, there's likely going to be a lot of troops crossing through this dense jungle. We also gotta avoid the creatures here." Kinata stated.
"Right!" Rena replied as they walked through the dense Jungle stealthily.
Meanwhile within the Country of Zebra
Veronica and Lexiel travel across Zerba Central badlands where massive Elephants and lions roam, making the area extremely dangerous they search for The hidden temple of the Church of Zawge.
"Why were you so much of a bully? Veronica asked him as they were both on Zebra horses.
"Last time i checked, we're here to collect the pieces, not for small talk, so unless you have something important to say don't talk.
"Your kinda a dick you know that ?'" Veronica says annoyed by his insults.
"I don't care ?" Lexiel answered, not fazed by her question.
"Don't you care about anything"What about your family?" Veronica asked him.
"They're strong, don't worry about them, if anything I worry more about you, you're a very dainty woman, how are you part of our group?" Lexiel answered with a condescending question.
"Excuse me?"Veronica asked, looking pissed.
"You either have some hidden power up your sleeves. Or you have something on the Pope You're the weakest person in the team, no way you could be so strong"Lexil explained to her shortcomings while being a sexist prick only to get slapped in the face.
"How dare you insult me? Worse yet, you insult the Pope."Veronica shouted at him showing fury at him.
"Blah blah, I've yet to meet clergy that wasn't self-serving and corrupt."Lexiel stated with the cynicism of the church.
"I feel sorry for you being negative. you only see the bad of humanity." Veronica stated.
"It's all about survival in this world, the weak perish while the strong all seriousness though, you're not very strong. Out of everyone who fought, you performed the worst so far, so tell me, is there some kind of power you're hiding from me, or are you hiding something from your comrades?" Lexiel asked the Priestess which strikes a nerve with the Deputy Archbishop.
"I heard enough from you!" Veronica shouted as she got really upset.
"Don't slow me down, i want to make sure i live so i can claim my reward ."Lexiel stated.
"There's more to a mage than just power."Veronica stated.
"Sounds like something a person who lacks power would say!''Lexiel replied as they were on their Zebra horses which wandered the savannahs walking through the Pangeran Savannah's looking for the buried temple when. they encounter several Large Lions, each the size of large trees that come at them. The Zebra horses are sacred off and kick the two riders off. The two are surrounded by these Giant Lions standing on their hind legs like humans.
"Those are King Werelions!" Veronica said to Lexiel.
"Werelions? You know these creatures?" Lexiel asked her.
"We have missionary work going to this part of the world and I heard stories of these Werelions. King werelions are some of the fastest and most fierce animals in the world. They're far superior to the Fioran Mountain Weretigers which those can take on experienced Mage's and are much smaller than this species."Veronica explained to Lexiel as one of the Lions goes to swipe their claws at them which they barely dodge.
"Damn they're no joke! they're really fast."Lexiel said to Veronica as he evades the slashes from the werelion.
"I'm going to need to get serious then! Partial Titan Arms!" Lexiel chanted as he gained muscles on his arms and doubled the size of his arms while evading its fierce slashes. "Take this !" Lexiel uppercuts the werelion in the jaw, however, the werelion gets back up and lunges at him"You gotta be kidding me!" Lexiel said, shocked that Lion keeps getting back up.
"RAAWAR!" The werelion roars as he goes to slash at Lexiel but Leixel blocks the claw with his enlarged arms and strikes the creature dead on in the chest.
"Giant's Fist of Fury" Lexiel chanted as he strikes the creature so hard it's knocked out. He then sees another werelion attack him but he dodges the claw strike."Boulder Fist!" Lexiel chanted as he smashed one with a single punch with a massive fist enlarged to be the size of a boulder knocking the other werelion out.
"Dream Knock!" Veronica chanted as she used a powerful sleep spell to knock out the 3 Werelions, putting them to sleep.
'Not bad!" Lexiel said to her.
"Told you there more to being a mage than raw power!" Veronica replied as she showed her immense magical skill.
"What sucks is that now our Zebra horses ran on us, we have to search the rest of this temple at?" Lexiel asked her.
"It should be around here. The hidden temple of the Church of Zawge which is a hidden rock-carved church buried beneath the savannahs of the country is said to have been an early church but an intense Monsoon caused the church to be buried in a mudslide over 800 years ago. I'm correct there should be a watering hole where the temple resides, however, The entrance should have a lot of dangerous and predatory animals we have to fight off, let's look for a large gathering of monsters." Veronica explained to Lexiel.
"Very well then, just don't slow me down." Lexiel stated as he walked on foot.
"I won't!" Veronica replied with a glare.
Altair City. Stella Province East Bosco
10:00 A.M.
Nel and Lena walk around the town after spending a night at the hotel. Lena and Nel's fifth piece is the clock hand which is hidden within the abandoned part of the Starry Hills Temple deep below Altair City but the secret passageway requires a key. The entire city is built on a large 5,000m mountain in a country already thousands of feet above sea level. The snow-covered city had the two walk-in fur clothing to keep warm.
"To think this seedy town would be where the clock piece be hidden at." Lena said to Nel.
"To think this is the Holiest city in the world."Nel replied, rolling her eyes." it's a fucking dump."
"It was cleaned up more recently by Anna Heartfilla who shut down all the brothels and bars within the city. It was much worse a few years back. This town was built on the highest mountain in East Bosco to reach the starlights to the kingdom of Heaven hence at the heart of the city on a large hill, the Star Temple was built." Lena explained the history of the town to the queen of Fairies.
"It says in this letter he wrote that there's a bishop in the temple who can give us the key to the lower half of the temple." Nel said to Lena.
"There is?" Lena asked.
"Yeah, he's held up in his manor. He was originally a major patron to the infamous Altair Alehouse but it was recently shut down thanks to the efforts of Anna Heartfilla who cleaned the whole city up almost five years ago and has become a cleaner, more holy city but he warns that Bishop Joseph Seam is a lecherous old man." Nel explained to the Nirvirt Tribe survivor.
"I don't want to be bothered by the old man." Lena stated.
"He only likes big boobed women, probably why the Pope picked us to deal with him."Nel replied, she then looked at her chest and sighed.
"Yeah, i hate being flat-chested, i wish i had boobs like Anna or Irene."Lena stated looking down at her lack of chest.
"Big boobs are so overrated, just makes them look like fucking cows, the flat is where it's truly at. In the Fairy culture, flat-chested women are the most sought after women."Nel explained to Lena trying to cheer up Lena.
"I wish it was the same with humans, men always seem to prefer big boobed women." Lena stated.
"You're pretty cool to hang out with, unlike that Bimbo queen of yours." Nel stated back.
"Irene is like my sister, I appreciate you not insulting her."Lena said to her, glaring at her.
"She represents everything I hate, she's a big boobed Bimbo who's the queen of dragons, a race I hate." Nel shouted as she despised the queen of Dragons.
"Not all dragons are bad, Grandeneey saved me and I live amongst the Skyland as a resident." Lena stated.
"I will rather be dead than with dragons. It's a shame what happened with your race. They seem like a strong, proud culture." Nel said to the Nirvit survivor.
"I know but it seems our strength got the better of us all."Lena replied looking down.
"Aside from your love of dragons, we have a lot of things in common, I hope you're able to reform and save your race finding the right man to love." Nel stated.
"I'm the literal last of my race, if i find someone i love, it would be someone who's not Nrivirt." Lena replied looking down on herself again.
"Normally I wouldn't encourage bringing those outside your tribe but unlike us Faires, you humans can still be with each other despite being from different backgrounds and still be humans, us faires can't do the same thing and remain faires." Nel explained to the last Nirvirt survivor, showing surprising insight on humans.
"I don't mind finding someone outside my race, the values of Dragnov taught me that we are all one race, humans. When i find the right person, i hope we can have several kids together so we can teach them the culture of Nirvirt and they pass it to their kids. Eventually, after 16 generations, if each of my future children has at least 6 kids we would have just enough of our race to create a village the size of Rosemary." Lena explained to the Queen of Fairies.
Both of them walk in the Manor, they see a bunch of busty women walking around with belly-dancing clothing and Bunny girl belly dancers had a bare cloth covering their bosoms and their rears. The waitresses were dressed in revealing bunny girl outfits that showed far too much of their bodies. For a holy man, he had a lot of unholy things in the manor.
Lena and Nel were looking down in their small chest, Lena sighed as she lacked the boobs of the women and Nel growled in anger and jealousy. They then see the lecherous old man with two women, one in a belly dancer outfit and the other with a bunny girl. very broad, a tall man with a large bushy beard; the beard is knotted into a bun on either side. He features a snub nose moderately sized droopy eyes, high eyebrows, and relatively small ears.
"Who are you, kids?" Seam asked the girls. Nel wanted to attack him but Lena stopped her.
"We're here on the behalf of Pope Victor Heartfilla." Lena answered as she gave him the seal of approval from the Pope himself.
"Oh I see, the official seal of approval, what does my former student want? That bastard and his daughter ruined the brothel business within the city, not that it matters, I got my private quarters where I have my fun Shame that Anna girl is uptight, her boobs are like that of the goddess, I would kill to motorboat them."Seam explained to the girls with his blatant perversion.
"We're here on business."Lena said to him looking disgusted and annoyed.
"Anyway, why would he want to open that church bottom? There's a reason Zentopia sealed off the church, it's in very bad shape. There are loose floor tiles that would collapse on you if you put too many corridors and a lot of parts you need to crawl around one wrong move and you're going to plunge in the abyss and never return. We recently checked the tunnel, one of the workers died traveling there. I advise you two to be very careful." Seam warned them about the hazards of the tunnel.
"Don't worry, we will be careful."Nel stated.
"You can count on us!"Lena replied.
"Now leave me to the ladies. Unless you got that big tit goddess Ana, I don't care to talk any further, I got some bunnies who need their bishop's blessing."Seam prevertly said to the two as he nuzzled his face in one of the bunny girl's boobs. The two were very quick to leave the manor.
"Thank god we're out of that cowtit cesspit." Nel said to Lena as she felt disgusted.
"Yeah, felt unclean going there."Lena replied only for Nel to get upset.
"Victor thought this out, didn't he? He knows we're the smallest one" Nel said frustrated at the fact she's small.
"So we can get into the temple." Lena replied, figuring it out.
"Not sure to find that insulting or a compliment." Nel replied, sighing as they went to the temple. They climb up to Starry Hills Temple and see a hidden passageway, they put their key down and open a hidden passageway which the two of them go into.
Meanwhile within Mount Atlantia
They enter a room where there seems to be a massive chasm within the room with more floating use the floating rocks to get past the chasm and get into the other door, which they open again and then see the massive Church congelation, as large as the Karlard Cathedral.
"There it is at the Altair!" Rick said to Eric as the clock peice is right there.
"Let's get that piece." Eric said to his partner only to hear a massive explosion at the front door.
Lullaby enters the temple, destroying the guardian.
"Pesky Golem, thank god i don't use magic anymore." Lullaby laughed as he walked through the doorway.
We got company, it must be Tartarus." Eric said to Rick.
"We need to fight them head-on. We can't let the clock fall into their hands." Rick replied.
They rush to the main entrance when they stare down Lullaby.
"Looks like i found some prey to slay." Lullaby laughed.
"You're not getting this peice." Eric said to the demon.
"On the contrary, I get to kill you both and then help create END." Lullaby replied.
Meanwhile within Jugina
Both Kinata and Rena snuck up on top of the mountain within the middle of the jungle, they see nothing but lush canopies of trees everywhere as well as mist from the vast humidity of the jungle. Kinata and Rena then stumble on the glyph on the ground.
"Hmmm a glyph, use your magic" Rena said to Kinata.
"Right" Kinata replied as she generates a light key to open the door and then causes a secret stairway to appear. They go down the temple, a temple built before Zentopia but was converted into a Zentopian temple. They walk down to the temple when they see Blue easter head like sculptures around the temple."Why would Zentopia put their clock piece in a temple that's not their own?" Kinata asked Rena.
"It's probably because this temple must've been converted into a Church after a bloody religious war with the native religion losing the conflict however because of the scores of lives lost, this temple was largely abandoned by the Jungians." Rena explained to the princess of the Eiggto kingdom.
"Why go through the trouble taking over this church then if you're just going to abandon it?" Kinata questioned.
"Whatever's the case, Victor warned us of traps here." Rena said to Kinata as she reads the letter.
"We need to find that clock piece, the question is where to begin." Kinata asked her only to see the floor of the temple room have clock hands on the ground, they move the clock hands, after a while, they move it to Midnight and the Clock piece appears at the center of the temple. Then what appears is a giant Easter head statue with tentacles to attack them.
"One of the temple traps?" Rena asked, shocked to see the tentacles come at them.
"The monster is barely 1 star! We can take him easily!" Kinata said to her reading the monster's power level with her card.
"I got this! Titan Hair Axe!" Rena chanted as she swung down her hair tendril using her ax, cleanly cutting the statue in half."Too easy" Rena said to them as she grabbed the Clock Piece.
"Now we need to sneak out of the country." Kinata said to the redhead as they walked out of the temple.
Meanwhile, in Zen
Kyouka and Mard Geer search the desert from the city of Terrameh, they fly on the winged demon bird searching for the temple.
"Where's this temple?" Kyouka said to Mard Geer.
"Somewhere around here." he answered as he flew around.
They find a door in the form of a Glyph. Kyouka takes Anna's Celestial Key and opens the door to go in.
"Resourceful using the Heartfilla's keys ."Mard Geer said to the demon woman.
"Yep i can't use the spirits, doesn't mean the key still doesn't work as a key." Kyouka replied as she walked down the stairs.
"World conquest would soon be upon us." Mard Geer smiled as he walked down the stairway.
They walk further down when they see the city of Terrahem, they see houses built out of clay and rock alongside some Ancient Crousan buildings and pillars. They also see the place littered with skulls, skeletons, and abandoned rusted weapons. At the center of the town lies the Clock Piece.
"There it is, the Clock Piece." Kyouka said to Mard Geer as she went to grab it.
"It feels too easy!"Mard Geer replied as he looked around.
"He's onto us!" Irene said to Victor whispering in his ear.
Mard Geer throws a thorn into a bat.
"Nothing here but bats." Kyouka replied only to get her clothes bitten by a rat which tears a small piece of clothing from her. "This place is a graveyard, we should go."
"Right!"Mard Geer replied as he used his thorns to create vines to climb up with Kyouka. They then go outside of the temple. After they left, the two climbed out of the skeleton pit, Irene grossed out by the corpses on her.
"Damn it, we weren't able to grab anything from them." Irene shouted.
"Did we now?" Victor replied calmly as the rat appeared with part of Kyouka's cloth it bit off.
"How did you?" Irene asked her.
"During infiltration missions to track down enemies of the Zentopian Religion, we trained rats and bats to get cloth or book form the person, then we get Tracker mages or dragons to find the location of our target."Victor explained to Irene as he took Kyouka's cloth and put it in her pocket.
"Man you are something, Pope." Irene stated.
"I served in the Zentopian Legion corp as Deputy Commander, under that bastard Brad Manson, i did some recon on missions i'm not too proud of."Victor explained to the Queen of Dragons." Seems we're fortunate that they've been dead for so long, they're senses and skills dulled in exchange for their increased power, either that or they're that arrogant. Let's get out of here and get to Exodus so we can get the dragons to smell out the scent and get us to Anna so we can save her." Victor explained to Irene.
"Brilliant, let's get to saving her, I think I can get the perfect dragon to help us infiltrate whether they're base is."Irene replied as they walked out of the temple.
Meanwhile in Zebra.
Meanwhile, Tartarus has been sent onto scouting missions of their own to hunt the Infinity Clock pieces. and are quickly approaching the areas sent with extreme prejudice.
In Zebra, Seliah is at the inn within the village as she was with a dark skin man in the Inn. She was dancing for the man, shaking her hips and large breast for the man.
"You're so beautiful!"The dark skin man said to Seliah.
"Thank you, can you do me a favor and tell me, were there other guests here?" Seilah asked him.
"What?" The Inn Manager asked only to have his head grabbed and Seliah read his mind.
"Those Fairy 12 are already here!" Seliah said to Tempester calmly.
"Big deal, they're not a huge threat." Tempester stated.
"You're right, i was able to control that Dreyar brute pretty easily and the female Deputy Archbishop is hardly on the same level as us." Seilah stated.
"What to do now?" Tempester asked her.
"Simple, we follow them to the temple, sniff out the bed in this place and use your nose to follow the humans." Seilah explained her plan to the Lion Demon.
"Was the seduction thing necessary?" Tempester asked her.
"Bad habit, back when i was alive and working for Zentopia, i used the art of Seduction to lure unsuspecting men into a trap where me and her tortured them for information, now with Marco, i could just read their minds. Kyouka's reactions are priceless when it seemed like i was going to go all the way with a man, she tends to get jealous around handsome men, it's like one of those romance noirs." Seliah explained to Tempster as they walked away from the Inn."Almost forgot" Seliah said nonchalantly as she has the Inn Owner snap his neck, killing him."Rule of Zentopian Legion Corp: No witnesses, no loose ends."Seliah explained to Tempester as they walked out of the Inn killing everyone in the Inn, using her Macro to snap their necks.
Meanwhile In Altair City
Jackal and Torafzuar walk around the city when they see it look cleaner than before. Both are in cloaks covering their bodies and faces.
"Man who cleaned up this city? Where are the prostitutes and strippers?" Jackal asked.
"Looks like things changed when we died, thankfully that means we can focus on the mission." Torafauzar answered.
"Man that sucks, I remember always coming back here after missions. Our squad took turns with each girl in that bar, usually making bets on who would last the longest, there was this one foreign chick from Pangera who can get your rocks off. Finest ass I've ever seen with her nice chocolate skin and massive breasts, she can take a whole gang of soldiers and..."Jackal bragged about his past sex life, annoying his much more serious partner.
"Will you focus on the mission? We're here to retrieve the clock piece, not fantasize about orgies." Torfauzar replied.
"This town is so boring now, can we blow it up?" Jackal asked.
"No, not yet, save that until we collect the clock piece then you can kill as many humans as you want." Torafzuar answered with his calm tone.
"Man you're a fucking bore, I wish i was paired with Zeikel or even Franmalth, that way we can have fun." Jackal whined not enjoying being partners with the Shark demon.
"It's because of your lackisidal attitude, we died in the first place. It's a shame Seliah and Jeannie got outed by the higher-ups, had they been with us in the coup, we wouldn't have fallen thanks to your incompetence." Torafuzar ranted as he complained about the arrogance of his teammates.
"Want to talk shit Fishman?" Jackal shouted.
"Yeah, come at me mutt." Torafzuar replied with his insult.
Both glared at each other but Torauzar backed away.
"Ha, you're a bitch, you can't back that claim." Jackal mocked.
"You forget why we're here dumbass? I'll fight you when we're done." Torafuzar replied."Going by Seilah's statements, we need to go up that hill and into the old temple on it."
"Right but after this, we're battling in this city, first to kill the entire population of this town wins." Jackal laughed.
"You haven't changed much, haven't you? You are still the same bomb-throwing manic you are"Torfauzar stated.
"Difference is I don't need bombs and holder magic anymore, my body is a bomb. Besides you haven't changed much yourself Mr serious"Jackal replied.
"I prefer results over mindless slaughter, I only kill the targets given to me, that's how I've been for the entirety of my life. The only people I kill outside the target are witnesses. Had we all done it this way, we wouldn't have failed." Torafuzar replied with his most stern and serious look.
Meanwhile in Jugina
Keyes searches on his own for the clock piece when he sees Kinata and Rena walk out of the temple holding the clock face.
"We gotta be careful with this, any of the Pregrandians see us and we can have a whole army after us." Kinata said to Rena.
"We also have the wildlife habitats here, there's a lot of dangerous creatures in this jungle country."Rena replied as she hides the clock face within her hair as they then put on white cloaks concealing their magical power.
"Looks like they already have it, no problem, i will have to get it from them but first."Keyes said to himself as he sees a Pregrandiain Army Brigade not too far from them."I first need some soldiers of my own." Keyes said to himself as he leaks out Bane particles around his body.
Meanwhile within Mount Altania
Meanwhile, Lullaby is battling Eric and Rick outside the temple. Lullaby goes to attack them, forming tendrils from its tree arms to attack the two mages.
"Damn Humans!" Lullaby roared as he shot a sonic blast towards the two of them but the two dodge the attacks and go for their attacks.
"Light Arrow Rain!" Eric chanted as he fired a volley of arrows at the Tartarus demon, wounding the creature pretty badly.
"URRAGH!" Lullaby grunted as it struggled to stand as the arrows burn into its tree-like flesh however he removes them. He then sees Rick behind him leaping with his dark magic sword.
"Darkness slash!" Rick chanted as he slashed through the back of Lullaby, cutting into the dense tree bark skin.
"How, how can you hurt me?" Lullaby shouted as he felt the pain from both blows
"My blade Croc De L'âme Noise (Dark Soul Fang in Boscoan)is an energy drawing sword that drains darkness and powers the blade, the darker the soul is, the stronger my sword my blade happens to come across a demon." Rick said to the demon as he absorbs energy from Lullaby from the back he just cut.
"THAT'S IT, YOU HUMANS DIE!Etherious Form: Taiga" Lullaby roared as he grew two times larger and gained a lot more power.
"He's transformed?" Eric said to Rick.
"Taiga?That name seems familiar," Rick said to his partner.
"Foolish humans, I'm the reincarnation of the demon Taiga, there's nothing you humans can do to stop me." Lullaby mocked the two.
"Taiga?The Forest demon of Dragonv?" Rick asked.
"That's right, I haunted the forests of Dragonv for hundreds of years, luring humans to their deaths with my death melody before consuming their souls. When Zeref revived me, he revived me within a known outlaw and criminal within Dragonv's body to give me even more power than my prime." Lullaby laughed at the humans.
"Zeref can revive fallen gods and demons?" Eric asked the demons.
"That's right humans. All of us Ehterious have been at least High ranking demons in hell or fallen angels or extinct gods. When we go into our Etherious forms, we retain the powers and form we had when we were fallen. It amps our curse power and this is my true power, the Curse Power of Death Medley!" Lullaby laughed as he generated a blast of sound magic and shot it at the two.
The blast completely blasts a huge wave of supersonic wind out of the entrance of the temple and goes into the sky. Eric and Rick barely evade it but their bodies were hit by rocks and rubble and have small cuts and bruises.
"Thank god we dodged that, one blast from him, and we're done!" Rick said to his partner.
"We got to go all the way with our enchantment." Eric replied only to see tree branch tendrils come at him and his partner.
"As i would let you humans attacks me." Lullaby shouted as he went to swing his right arm to punch Eric but the dark knight counters blocking with his sword.
"Darkness Wave" Rick chanted as he swung his sword within a slashing arc at point-blank range at Lullaby however the Demon was entirely unfazed.
"You filthy worm!" Lullaby laughed as he punched Rick from the entrance into the edge of the caldera.
"RICK!" Eric shouted as he went to use his Arrows to shoot at Lullaby but he shrugs off the attacks.
"Laughable!''Lullaby said to Eric as he swiped his clawed hand, creating a slashing wave knocking back Eric into the otherwise of the Caldera. You, humans, are ants compared to me. In my prime as a human, i was a feared Assassin Mage who attempted to kill the King of Dragons Marakov, a powerful mage who could take out countries whole army single-handedly, Taiga who is also my being can kill even dragons with his death meldery, combined with these bodies i'm stronger than any human and even most demons. Now time to destroy you ants!" Lullaby mocked the two mages as he charged up a blast of magic towards them.
"Deus Corona" Both mages chanted as they use their enchantment magic to protect themselves as Lullaby fires a Curse blast which blasts through the caldera and narrowly misses Crocus and hits a mountain over 10km south of the city causing a massive explosion. Both of them survive with light burns on their arms.
"Such power." Eric said to his friend.
"Indeed we must stop him at all cost or everyone is going to die." Rick replied.
"That's but a glimpse of my power, if i want, this entire country would be wiped out by my curse. I will cast my Death Meldery to wipe out this country of all life in my way." Lullaby laughed as he was ready to fight the two mages.
Island of Torjia,Gaceria
12:00 Noon
Linda and Erenjack arrive within the Island of Torjia in Gaceria. The two landed within the Caleum Island the previous day and slept together within the town of Hemera and went to the Island of Torkia 50m southeast of the main island, not to be mistaken with the much larger Island near Fiore. The small island is isolated and said to be too dangerous for people to be chainable due to the infestation of Sea Serpents.
The Island less than a square mile wide defined by a large mountain in the middle of the island which takes up half the volume of the island, under the mountain is a temple underwater.
"Looks like we arrived on the Island." Erenjack said to Linda as they got off the ship
"I slept in the same bed with Erenjack Sama."Linda said to herself lost in her thoughts.
"According to the Pope, the temple was sunken in a massive storm so powerful it sunk half the island in a 300-meter Tsunami almost 1,000 years ago. According to him, this can only be accessible by those who can breathe underwater and withstand intense water pressure. The church was used to hide the Piece due to it's hard to access entrance. The clock bell is in this temple." Erenjack explained to Linda as she as distracted in her thoughts." Uh Linda?"
"Deep depths, no problem, Linda has this." Linda replied she forms a bubble around herself and Erenjack as they go deep in the water. The sea Serpents fly at them but Linda uses her water power to blast them back.
"They're coming at us!" Erenjack said to the queen as 5 serpent's launched a direct attack at the two.
"Those are Cauleman Sea Serpents, each of these serpents have the strength to crush entire Mountains"Linda said to Ernejack as the serpent lunged at them.
"Water Emperor Power Armor!" Erenjack chanted as he summons armor and goes to slash down 2 of the sea serpents, easily beating both of them
"Water Slicer" Linda chanted as she slashed down the Water Serpents.
After fighting the Sea Serpents,They arrived at the depth of the temple and saw the sealed off door with the Zentopia emblem made of Manigum.
"Going by this the password is Quibus Natat Ut-(to whom who swims )" Ernejack said to the door as the two entered.
"It worked!" Linda said to him.
The entrance door opens as the two go deep into the temple already. They go to the middle of the temple where they see the clock piece at the Altair.
"There it is !" Erenjack said to Linda.
"This is almost too easy, there are no traps here." Linda stated.
"I know it's very surprising," said a voice unfamiliar to them.
"Who's there?" Erenjack said to the voice only to see Franmalth appear.
"I must thank you for opening the doors for us, you made our job all the easier." Franmalth laughed at the two.
"Tartarus!" Linda shouted.
"Where's Anna?" Erenjack asked the demon.
"Doesn't matter where she's at, what matters is that we get the Clock Piece so we can create END."Franmalth said to the two.
"We got you, it's just one of you and two of us!" Linds stated only to see the temple burst as something burst out of the walls. That something was Zekiel.
"You had to take a long way didn't you Zekiel?" Franmalth asked him as Zekiel was wet.
"You know i can cut through anything, I find it more fun that way."Zekiel laughed.
"So it's two versus two? We won't fall this time around." Erenjack stated.
"Foolish humans, do you think you can take us on? Did you not learn the lesson we taught you back in Bei Village?" Franmalth asked them, mocking the humans.
"Yeah, we kicked your asses so badly that the dragons had to come and save you and even then those dragons didn't stand a chance against us." Zekiel mocked humans.
"You merely caught us by surprise, now that we know how your curses work, you won't catch us the same time again. This time we will kill you." Linda said to them.
"Don't kid yourself human. We are the Demons of Zeref's books. , Magical weapons of war born of a demonic book written by the Black Wizard Zeref. Just one of us is enough to take on an entire country's armed forces and leave the lands of a whole country in ruins." Franmalth explained to the humans as he was ready to fight.
"You want a good example of our handiwork? Just look at what we did to Isvan and when I killed that pathetic King of the country. I would admit he was quite the tough one but between me and Torfauzar, we were able to kill the 3 Kings, sadly our friend colleague Dieloria was amongst the fallen, oh well, time to add more bodies to our already growing pile." Zeikel mocked only to see Erenjack filled with anger.
"That pathetic king you killed was my master Rey Fullbuster, King Rey Fullbustef of the Vikings, now that I know who killed him, i would show you no mercy and get revenge for his death."Erenjack replied as he glared at the demon. "Linda you take care of the other demon, this four-armed beast is mine.
"Right., I will put this vile creature back to its grave." Linda replied.
"Hahahahah! In your dreams human. This vessel I habitated used to be a feared Midian Captain of the Zentopian Anti Magic Division who's nullification magic can defeat entire regiments of soldiers. I'm the fusion of Captain Frenrarid of the Anti Magic Division combined with kawatarō, a Turtle Demon known for his strong armor from the nation of Gappione known for terrorizing civilians Given both of the people fused within me shared so much in common, Zeref effortlessly kills the evasive kawatarō with is death magic and he sealed the soul into his book and infused the book with the dead commander. Hence i became Franmalth , the Armored Demon of Tartarus" Franmalth explained to the Lockser clan princess.
"Armored Demon?" Linda asked.
"I'm called the Armored Demon because as kawatarō, there wasn't a single Samurai who can cut through my armored body and my Nullification magic was unparalleled by any mage at the time, combined i got the Curse power of Absorption, making your pathetic magic useless against me, combined with my flexible body and my armored torso, i can't be killed by humans like you"Franmalth bragged as he was ready to fight "Perhaps i should collect your soul."
"You forget, we the Locksers are also untouchable, our Water Body magic makes us near invulnerable to most magic and we can kill even some dragons with our magic, we'll see who's truly the invincible being here." Linda replied to Framlath as she prepared to attack him.
Present Day
At death's door
So began the battle of the Demons and humans. While Dragonv was fighting against an invasion attempt prompted by our fall to the demons in the first bout against them, we were ready to fight these demons again, however, this time we each had our trump cards hidden up their sleeves and knowing how their curses worked. It was the ultimate battle across 6 countries. The country of Fiore, the Country of Bosco within the land that would later become Stella, Gaceria which would later split into Caluem and Minstrel, the skies over Zen and into Fiore, the country of Zebra and the country of Jugina which would later become Dessserito. We barely prevailed over each of them and not without major damage to all of those countries it would be the preview of what to expect from.

(A/N: Yep now comes the big battle between the Tartarus Army and the ultimate test for Irene and her comrades. For the next 3 chapters, I'm going to try to squeeze in all the fights of Tartarus into these chapters. I will do my best to make these fights as entertaining, fast-paced and tough for the heroes as possible, wish me, luck guys.
Yep, I added some pretty fierce traps and obstacles through this hunt, most notably the fierce Creatures, this was to add some lore and some depth to the world around here. Just because Dragons are Apex predators and the dominant species within this world, doesn't mean there aren't monsters comparably dangerous that can also kill Lions are on the top of the food chain yet have to worry about Wilderbeasts, Rampaging Elephants, and even the dreaded Hippos. Also when we get to the Dragon War itself, I wanted to add some enemy variety outside of dragons that Dragons would likely use as their siege weapons against lower-tier dragons.
As for the Sea Serpents, they're based heavily on the monstrous Sea Serpent from the Filler ep of Fairy Tail, the same ones which can fight on par with Post Grand Magic Games Team Natsu and Sabertooth
