Episode 43: Piranha Problem

~Stonecarving City from Wario Land: Shake It! starts to play~

It was a chilly day at the Smash Grounds. While nearly everyone stayed in the Smasher's Palace to avoid the cold, Wario, Waluigi, Falco, Crazy Hand, Duck Hunt Dog, and Zigzagoon were standing right outside the large palace.

"C'mon you stupid clouds! You haven't snowed in way too long!" Wario growled at the gray clouds above.

"Waa! It's still the middle of winter! So start snowing, you bunch of lousy water particles!" Waluigi added.

"Ooooh, that cloud looks like Cloud," Crazy said, pointing at Cloud as he was flying uncontrollably away from the Smash Grounds.

"That cloud IS Cloud, Crazy," Duck Hunt Dog pointed out.

"Yes, the cloud is indeed made out of cloud," the insane hand responded, causing DHD to groan.

"Maybe we should ask the Bread God to make it snow," Falco suggested.

"Why are we even waiting out here for the snow anyways when we could stay inside where it's nice and warm?" the talking dog wondered.

"Waa, I dunno," Wario simply replied.

"Probably because something relevant is about to happen," Waluigi added.

~Stonecarving City stops~

"Greetings everyone!" Master Hand exclaimed as he entered through the gates to the Smash Grounds. "I have returned with our next newcomer!" Suddenly, the earth started to shake as everyone within the Smasher's Palace started running out to meet the newcomer.

"Oh no!" Wario groaned, just like how he did in Wario World, before him and Waluigi got trampled by many of the palace inhabitants. Once everyone had gathered by the gates, Falco, Crazy, and Duck Hunt Dog helped the two brothers back up.

"Now then! Our next newcomer is..." Master Hand happily started.

"Is it Dixie?!" Diddy Kong asked.

"Bandana Dee! Say it's Bandana Dee!" King Dedede exclaimed, holding the spear-wielding Waddle Dee over his head.

"I already know it's not me, and therefore I can't be happy about whoever it is," Toad stated. "And yet, despite that, I'm actually getting excited about how unexciting this newcomer's gonna be!"

"Just tell us who it is already!" King K. Rool demanded.

"Our next newcomer is..." Master Hand repeated before stepping aside, right before Petey Piranha fell down behind the floating hand.

"Oh cool! Petey Piranha! Hey there, old pal!" Bowser cheered.

"Er, no, not him. He's carrying the real newcomer in his pants, and he's only a part of the real newcomer's Final Smash," Master Hand stated, causing Petey Piranha to frown. "The real newcomer is..." Suddenly, a normal Piranha Plant stuck in a pot leaped out of Petey Piranha's pants. "... a generic Piranha Plant!"

Nothing but silence filled the surrounding area. Everyone gave blank stares towards Master Hand, who was swiftly getting extremely nervous, and Piranha Plant, who just sat there in her pot, giving a smug grin.

"Um... would anyone like to say anything about our newcomer?" Master Hand asked. Yet all he got was more silence.

"If a random Piranha Plant can get in, then there's no excuse why I shouldn't," Toad rightfully complained within his mind. "That stupid "generic species" argument already didn't hold water from the very start, but now that a nobody among generic species has made it in, the argument's deader than dead."

~Magma Cavern Pit from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX starts to play~

Waluigi was silently standing and glaring like everyone else, but he was profusely sweating, for he remembered something he said two years ago on the day everyone played Waa-nders Of The Wario World.

"Yeah, do they just give out shows to literally anyone these days? Giving a stupid loser like GengarFan3 a show would be like including a Piranha Plant in Smash!" Waluigi's own voice echoed within his head. Mewtwo, standing right behind the lanky loser, was reading his thoughts, and was already disturbed by what he heard.

"I feel so sorry for you," Mewtwo telepathically said to Waluigi.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Waluigi internally screamed as his eyes started becoming bloodshot.

~Magma Cavern Pit stops as Superquick (A) by Daniel Jean Jeannin starts~

Waluigi's internal screaming stopped once everyone started clapping and cheering. Only Wario, Waluigi, the rest of their close friends, Mewtwo, and a few others remained quiet. Piranha Plant started doing various poses as some of the palace inhabitants started taking photos of the newest inhabitant. Despite her constant posing, Piranha Plant managed to notice those that weren't excited for her arrival.

~Superquick (A) stops~

However, all of the cheering, clapping, and photo taking suddenly came to a stop, and so did Piranha Plant's posing.

"Well, the newcomer's not exciting anymore," Pikachu said.

"Yeah, old news. Let's go do something more worthwhile than stand here," Little Mac replied. Everyone in the crowd bar Wario, Waluigi, Falco, Crazy, Duck Hunt Dog, Zigzagoon, Ariados, and Toad walked back towards the Smasher's Palace, mumbling about random things.

"Haa... I wish I could add a newcomer that would have long-lasting hype like Ridley or K. Rool again..." Master Hand groaned before following after everyone else. Piranha Plant watched everyone walk back into the palace before turning her attention to Wario and Waluigi's group.

"Waa... let's go back inside and... I dunno, watch bread be made," Waluigi groaned.

"Ooh! I was just about to suggest that!" Falco chirped.

"Piranha Plant!" Piranha Plant yelled before the gang could take a single step forward.

"Hey, that Piranha Plant said it knows you guys aren't happy with its inclusion!" Crazy pointed out.

"You can understand what thing says?" Duck Hunt Dog inquired.

"Sure can! Watch! Say something else, random plant thing!"

"Piranha Plant! PIRANHA PLANT!" the plant growled.

"Now it says that it has the right to mock you guys now because you didn't get in and that makes you los- HEY WAIT A MINUTE!"

"Hahahaha!" Piranha Plant cackled.

"Hey! Shut up, stupid plant! Nobody says that about my brother!" Wario growled. Piranha Plant only responded by sticking her tongue out, further angering Wario, Waluigi, their friends, and even Petey Piranha. Piranha Plant started walking around the gang of friends plus Toad, only to slam the poor mushroom person with her head before fleeing into the palace.

"Gah! First Master Hand manages to manage to tick me off by adding a random, generic Piranha Plant over me or any other Toad, but then said plant just mocks and attacks me! What a rotten day!" Toad complained.

"Yeah! That Piranha Plant's nothing but a lousy jerk!" Waluigi added.

"Well... hopefully Piranha Plant won't be too much of a problem..." Duck Hunt Dog uttered.

Five Minutes Later...

~The Nightmare Woods (Run Run Rottytops!) from Shantae And The Pirate's Curse starts to play~

Wario, Waluigi, Falco, Crazy, Anna, and Zigzagoon were watching TV in the giant living room of the Smasher's Palace. Suddenly, Piranha Plant poked out from behind the couch and poked her head between Wario and Waluigi's.

"Hahahahahahaha!" the asshole plant cackled. Wario was about to pulverize Piranha Plant, but Waluigi tapped on Wario's shoulder and pointed over to Master Hand, who was in the hallway connected to the living room. Wario groaned, and everyone ran out of the living room, forcing Piranha Plant to chase after them.

Toad was in the cafeteria, chugging down some water to drown his anger. The mushroom man felt someone tap his shoulder, so he turned around, discovering that it was Piranha Plant.

"Hahahahahahaha!" Piranha Plant maniacally laughed again. Toad slammed his water bottle down on the table before slowly walking his way out of the cafeteria, with Piranha Plant right behind him, still laughing.

Wario, Waluigi, and Anna were in their room, sitting in front of their TV this time.

"Waa... now we'll get some peace..." Wario sighed. He turned the TV on, with the Channel 216 news being the program to pop up.

"Nah," Waluigi said, prompting Wario to change the channel.

"Come down to the recently rebuilt It's Not A Trap, where you will for sure get the best deals in town and not actually get your purchased goods stolen as soon as you step outside the shop!" Lord Crump's voice boomed from the TV.

"Ew, false advertising!" Anna complained before Wario changed the channel again. However, the next channel was just a gif of Piranha Plant doing the Fortnite default dance.

"Hahahahahahaha!" Piranha Plant laughed yet again outside the room. The jerk plant kept laughing until Wario changed the channel again.

"And now for our newest program, Why King K. Rool Shouldn't Be In Super Smash Bros. Or Have His Own TV Show! With your host, Cranky Kong!" a female voice boomed. Wario, Waluigi, and Anna angrily watched the program while Piranha Plant groaned and hopped away.

Lucario was sitting on the very same couch Wario, Waluigi, and the rest of the gang were sitting on earlier, with Shadow standing right behind the Aura Pokémon.

"... and that's why Knuckles is no longer locked up in the basement, despite the fact that he absolutely still should be," Shadow said.

"I still know little about this Knuckles person and he already sounds just as threatening as Weegee," Lucario remarked.

"Ye-" the black hedgehog uttered before Piranha Plant popped up next to him.

"Hahahahahahaha!" the irritating plant chuckled yet again. "Piranha Plant! Piranha Plant!"

"Why is this plant just repeating its name at me?" Shadow inquired.

"It's saying it got in and you didn't which means you suck, that it has the right to mock you, and that you have no right to criticize my inclusion," Crazy informed.

"... What?" was all Shadow responded with.

Kamek was in Bowser's Castle, taking a sip of some tea, when Piranha Plant arrived and rammed its face into Kamek's face.

Dixie Kong was walking through the Kongo Jungle on Donkey Kong Island when Piranha Plant fell down from the sky and crushed her before laughing at her pain.

Tom Nook was on an abandoned island somewhere in the Animal Crossing world, staring at the sunset, when Piranha Plant popped out of the ground.

~The Nightmare Woods (Run Run Rottytops!) stops~

However, Tom Nook wasn't going to have any of Piranha Plant's shit, so he boldly yanked the plant out of the ground and chucked her into the ocean.

~Too Tired (A) by Hans Ehrlinger starts to play~

Night had fallen over the Smash Grounds. However, it was hard to sleep since Piranha Plant was laughing while hanging upside-down in front of the window across from the Wario Bros.'s room. Wario, Waluigi, and Anna were wide awake, their eyes twitching.

"Wario..." Anna groaned.

"Yes Anna?" Wario replied.

"What time is it?" Waluigi rolled over to check the clock sitting next to him.

"Eleven thirty. It's eleven thirty," the lanky plumber answered.

"That... that means we've only been trying to sleep for an hour..." the redhead merchant pointed out.

"Ahahahaha! HA HA HA!" Piranha Plant laughed, getting even louder.

~Too Tired (A) stops~

"WaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Wario screeched, leaping out of bed. "That's IT! I can't take this anymore!"

~Westopolis from Shadow The Hedgehog starts to play~

Wario ran over to the door, swung it so harshly that it nearly got torn from its hinges, literally slapped some curtain on the window Piranha Plant was glimpsing through, and pulled the curtains shut. With the curtains shut, Piranha Plant stopped laughing. Wario, Waluigi, and Anna then rushed down all the way into Master Hand's office, where Wario slammed a piece of paper down on Master Hand's desk, nearly breaking the wooden desk. Once the trio raced out of the room, Master Hand nervously picked up the paper, discovering the words "DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT PATHETIC PIRANHA PLANT!". Wario, Waluigi, and Anna stopped running as soon as they arrived at the door leading to the basement.

~Westopolis stops~

However, once Waluigi swung the basement door open, they found the lights on, with Falco down by the bottom of the steps.

"Waa, hey Falco," Waluigi said. The trio marched down into the basement, only to find Shadow and a shivering Lucario at the basement's table, Duck Hunt Dog by the table, Zigzagoon, Ariados, and a deflated Crazy on the table, and both King Dedede and Toad lounging on the basement couch.

"Wow, everyone is he- actually, no, there's way too many people missing for everyone to be here," Wario grumbled.

"What're all of you guys doing down here?" Anna asked.

"Why do you think we're here?! We're trying to hide from the worthless Piranha Plant that WILL. NOT. STOP. LAUGHING!" Lucario growled, his eyes twitching.

"None of us have been able to get a moment of sleep, and we've all gotten only a few moments of peace while that plant decided to just vanish sometime before sunset," Shadow, the only one who didn't seem deprived of sleep, pointed out.

"Hehehe... I guess that Piranha Plant IS too much of a problem... hehehe... oh dear..." Duck Hunt Dog whimpered.

"Yeah, and that lousy Master Hand ain't doing enough about it! I walked up to him and complained about that annoying plant, yet all he did was say he would give her a small talk and told me he was sure this kind of behavior will only last a week or something!" Dedede stated.

~Boss Battle from Wario Land 3 starts to play~

"A week?! A WEEK?! Ain't no way we're putting up with that irritating plant's antics for even another day, and definitely not a whole week!" Wario growled.

"Yes! Exactly! We need to take matters into our own hands!" the twitchy Lucario exclaimed, racing over towards Wario, Waluigi, and Anna. "That plant's been more annoying in one day than you buffoons usually are, and it's only a matter of time until that Piranha Plant does something even more destructive than you guys! I just KNOW IT!" Lucario grabbed Waluigi and started violently shaking him. "That confounded plant might even summon a demonic meme even more vile than Weegee, for Arceus's sake! Or worse, it might drive that Knuckles person into a fit of rage again!" Eventually, Lucario stopped shaking Waluigi and just dropped him on the floor.

"Ow," Waluigi groaned, dazed from the shaking.

"We need to give that Piranha Plant the karma it deserves! I say, first thing in the morning, we give that plant a piece of our mind!" Toad roared.

"Yeah!" Nearly everyone besides Shadow and the dazed Waluigi cheered, with Crazy instantly reflating to join in on the cheering.

~Boss Battle stops~

"But let's get some sleep first while we can," the mushroom man suggested. Nearly everyone, including Shadow, fell asleep right away, with Crazy deflating again. However, right after they fell asleep, Waluigi got right back up.

"Waa, did I miss something?" the lanky weirdo groaned.

JANUARY 30th, 2019

~Dark Cave from Pokémon: Gold/ Silver starts to play~

Gray clouds covered the skies above the Smash Grounds. While numerous inhabitants of the grounds were out and about, Piranha Plant's laughs could be heard across the area. However, in a pine tree outside of the grounds, Weegee, Dr. Wily, and Natsuki were spying on everyone at the grounds.

"When's Plankton going to come back with his report?" Weegee wondered.

"Right now," Plankton said, appearing right on the evil meme's head.

"Oh," the evil meme simply said.

"Anyways, turns out there's been something called a Piranha Plant going around, mocking and harassing those who didn't get into the tournament. And Waluigi just so happens to be among those getting mocked by them!"

"Excellent! Even if they attacked and defeated me back when I tried to label them and their fans as harassers going after Master Hand, I still managed to convince a good amount of the Internet addicted weirdos that's all Wario, Waluigi, and all their miserable friends were, and now there's a talking plant going after them too! For once, I'm actually quite happy with how things are turning out!"

"Yep! Those idiots are getting what they deserve!" Natsuki added.

"C'mon, let's go home. We don't even need to stick around here any longer for today, we'll go after them some other time," Weegee happily said.

~Dark Cave stops~

Meanwhile, down in the Smash Grounds, Kirby and Bandana Dee were doing some painting. In the background, Wario, Waluigi, Lucario, and Falco were poking their heads out of a bush. Everyone else they met in the basement were hiding in the same bush, except for Crazy, who was hardly covered at all in a different bush.

"Where is that lousy plant?!" Wario growled.

"Hopefully it's somewhere alone, realizing how much of a jerk it's been, but it's probably close by, just as much of a jerk as usual," Crazy said.

"It's over there!" Falco exclaimed as Piranha Plant approached Kirby and Bandana Dee. Falco's scream managed to catch Piranha Plant's attention, but the quartet managed to dive into the big bush. Piranha Plant still noticed Crazy and stared as well as an eyeless plant could stare at anything for a moment before rushing towards Kirby and Bandana Dee.

~King Dedede's Theme from Super Smash Bros. Brawl starts to play~

"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Dedede roared, leaping out of the bush with his hammer over his head. Dedede slammed his hammer down in front of Piranha Plant, knocking her down and starting both Kirby and Bandana Dee. "No one tries to harass Bandana Dee on my watch!"

"Dedede, you dunce!" Lucario yelled before Piranha Plant spat out a metal spike ball. The ball slammed into Dedede, sending him back to the bush from which he came from. Shadow poked his head of the bush and found Piranha Plant angrily rushing towards said bush.

"Hmph. I suppose we might have to do a little more than have a little talk about her attitude at this point," the black hedgehog remarked. Shadow used Chaos Control to teleport right up to Piranha Plant's face and kicked her away. Piranha Plant crashed back into the ground, but Wario grabbed her by the pot and threw her over the Smasher's Palace.

~King Dedede's Theme stops as Viridian City from Pokémon: Heart Gold/ Soul Silver starts~

Speaking of the Smasher's Palace, Snake was lounging on its roof while looking at some hentai on his phone. Once Piranha Plant started flying over the palace, Snake stopped to look at her, only to go back to looking at his phone again once she flew past him.

"Painful nostalgia," Snake commented. Suddenly, Cloud flew over Snake as well from the way Piranha Plant was heading towards. "Seriously Cloud? Again?"

~Viridian City stops~

Piranha Plant eventually crashed into one of the sheds out behind the Smasher's Palace, specifically the one used to house Assist Trophies. Once the wicked plant realized what was all around her, she grinned a rather sinister grin. Sonic stood outside of the Assist Trophy shed, having seen Piranha Plant crash into it.

"Uh... you OK in there, pal?" Sonic asked.

~Stop! Thief! from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX starts to play~

That's when Piranha Plant broke the shed's door down and trampled over the blue hedgehog, tugging along a large wagon full of Assist Trophies. Back over by the bushes, Wario, Waluigi, and the rest of their current crew were just standing there.

"Well, I hope that put some sense into that Piranha Plant," Lucario said.

~Stop! Thief! stops~

Piranha Plant then returned with her Assist Trophies. The vile plant held up two Assist Trophies, one each with both of her leaves, and cackled, capturing the gang's attention.

"Waa..." Waluigi groaned.

Master Hand and Meta Knight were at Smashtopolis's Wal-Mart, putting in a bunch of milk jugs into the cart, when Master Hand realized something.

"Wario and Waluigi are still back at the palace, correct?" Master Hand asked Meta Knight.

"Yes," the round knight answered.

"And we're not there to stop them from dealing with any chaos they usual pull while I'm gone." The two beings stood there for a moment, taking everything in. "Rgh... let's hurry up and get back."

Before anyone of Wario and Waluigi's current gang could do anything, Piranha Plant lifted the two Assist Trophies even higher up into the air, summoning the Knuckle Joe and the Burrowing Snagret that lived at the Smasher's Palace.

~Boss 2 from Donkey Kong: Jungle Climber starts to play~

"PIRANHA PLANT!" Piranha Plant roared. Somehow, Knuckle Joe and Burrowing Snagret understood the annoying plant and nodded in response. The Burrowing Snagret dug underground, only to appear a second later right underneath Wario, poking his ass with its beak.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" the yellow plumber screeched, leaping up into the air. Knuckle Joe followed after the leaping Wario and punched the yellow weirdo in the gut, sending him flying over towards the palace. Knuckle Joe was about to punch Wario again, but Waluigi leaped up and smacked the Knuckle Joe away with his trusty tennis racket. Wario may have landed on his stomach, but Waluigi landed just fine. Piranha Plant growled and summoned Tiki, Isabelle, and even Squidward.

"Where am I?" Squidward asked. Dedede rushed up to poor Squidward and slammed the cephalopod with his hammer. "AND WHY MUST I SUFFER?! WHY ME?!" Dedede leaped after Squidward and smacked him again, sending Squidward right into the ground. Once the dust from Squidward's crash cleared up, it was revealed that Squidward himself could no longer even be seen, and in his place was a deep, Squidward-shaped hole.

~Boss 2 stops as Divine Hate (Battle 2) from Devil May Cry 3 starts~

"Oh boy, an excuse to throw out the trash!" Isabelle cheered, pulling out a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire. Isabelle rushed over towards Zigzagoon, who was busy dealing with Tiki, but Shadow appeared in front of her and kicked the baseball bat out of her hands before punting her up into the air. Shadow teleported after her, delivering another kick that sent her flying, before teleporting over to her again, starting a cycle. Piranha Plant summoned another trio, this time bringing Spring Man, Ridley, and a Garchomp into the fray.

"What the hell's going on?! I was in the middle of plotting a homic-" Ridley growled while the other two charged ahead. The Space Pirate leader barely had any time to dodge the Shoulder Bashing Wario, who was heading straight for Piranha Plant. However, before Wario had the chance to hurt the chaotic plant, Ridley grabbed Wario and slammed the yellow plumber into the ground several times. "Now I get it! You idiots are up to no good!"

"No, YOU'RE the one who's up to no good!" Wario stupidly retorted. Ridley groaned, slammed Wario's face into the dirt, dragged the yellow weirdo's face in it, and then tossed Wario away from the growing fight. Meanwhile, Anna was busy slinging arrows at Spring Man as she dodged his long and expanding Toaster ARMS. While Anna was landing a few of her arrows, Spring Man could hit Anna a single time. However, that all changed when Garchomp slammed into the redhead merchant by using the move Dragon Rush. Afterwards, Spring Man was able to deal a few punches from afar, with each hit sending Anna further and further away from the fight. As Spring Man kept dealing punches, Ariados sneaked up behind both him and Garchomp and used the move Stomping Tantrum, tripping them both. Garchomp got up right away and used Dragon Rush again, narrowly missing the Long Leg Pokémon. Once Garchomp stopped, Ariados retaliated using the move Lunge, slamming right into Garchomp's face.

"PIRANHA PLANT!" Piranha Plant roared before using another four Assist Trophies.

Meanwhile...

~Divine Hate (Battle 2) stops as Beach from Pokémon Snap starts to play~

Weegee, Dr. Wily, Natsuki, and Plankton were at Beam Sword Beach, heading for a steamboat that Fortran was hanging around at to head back to Weegee's Island. However, before the evil quartet could set foot on the boat, Wily vanished in the blink of an eye.

~Beach stops as Divine Hate (Battle 2) starts again~

However, Wily reappeared alongside Rambi, Ray MK Three, and an Octobomber as one of the four summoned by Piranha Plant. The other three rushed ahead into the battle, but Wily only stood there, staring into space. However, Zigzagoon recognized the mad scientist, instantly leaped onto him, and started biting and scratching him.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Wily screamed. Meanwhile, Falco leaped onto Rambi and started controlling the rhino, turning him around so he would start charging towards Piranha Plant. However, Ray MK Three started firing missiles at Falco and Rambi, which barely missed, but the explosions kept nearly throwing Falco off. Eventually, one of the missiles exploded right in front of Rambi, sending him and Falco back. As Falco was sent hurdling away, Toad raced by him and dodged all of the missiles Ray was still firing. One by one, Toad managed to sidestep past every missile that crashed into the ground until one started flying straight for the mushroom man from behind. Once it got close enough, Toad ducked down and rolled underneath the missile, still keeping his speed. The missile kept flying ahead, eventually crashing into the already badly injured Isabelle, and Toad started running like normal again. Before he escaped from the large fight, Toad yanked a Veggie out of the ground. With the Veggie in hand, Toad leaped out of the brawl and over towards the blissfully unaware Piranha Plant before she could summon another character to her side. Once close enough, Toad slammed the Veggie down onto Piranha Plant's head, stunning her long enough for him to land and smack her away, using the Veggie like a baseball bat. Toad then threw the Veggie right for the still flying Piranha Plant, but she managed to safely land on the ground and ate the Veggie with one gulp once it was right up to her face. Toad raced for Piranha Plant, but the harassive plant retreated into her pot and leaned towards the mushroom servent. Seconds later, Piranha Plant used her Long-Stem Strike, stretching her stem to reach over and bite onto Toad's dotted head. Piranha Plant then threw Toad out of the Smash Grounds, causing him to scream in his Mario Kart 64 voice.

~Divine Hate (Battle 2) stops again as Snake Eater from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate starts~

As the fight kept getting larger and more violent, Pichu and Petey Piranha watched from afar, next to the Battlefield stage. Images of Pichu confronting Wario and Waluigi in their room over Wario's opinion, Pichu, Young Link, and Ness spamming their projectiles at Wario, Waluigi, and Incineroar during their fight, and Incineroar finishing Pichu off with the diamond hoe flashed before the little Pokémon's eyes. Pichu shook her head before running over towards the fight. Meanwhile, Piranha Plant summoned Heavy Weapons Guy and a Kritter to fight for her, and both did without hesitation, charging on into the crowd. Once the two newest combatants made it in, Wario and Waluigi managed to jump above the brawling crowd. This time, Piranha Plant noticed the ambush in time and got ready to retaliate by spitting out a spike ball. However, before Piranha Plant could actually spit the spike ball out, Pichu rushed up to the plant's face and used the move Fake Out. Piranha Plant got briefly stunned and accidentally spat the spike ball straight upwards. Pichu followed up by using the move Thunder Punch, pushing Piranha Plant back just a tiny bit. Unfortunately for Pichu, the spike ball Piranha Plant spat upwards fell back down onto the poor little mouse.

"Waa, what just happened?" Wario wondered. Waluigi shrugged before dodging another spike ball of Piranha Plant's. The hostile plant spat out another one, but this time Waluigi smacked it right back with his tennis racket. Piranha Plant reflected it as well, resulting in a constant round of smacking the spike ball back and forth. Eventually, Wario took action by Shoulder Bashing ahead, slamming into Piranha Plant before the spike ball landed near where the sentient plant once was.

"Fifteen, love!" Toadsworth announced, standing by Waluigi. Piranha Plant eventually crashed into Petey Piranha's face, knocking him down.

"Piranha Plant?! Piranha Plant!" Piranha Plant growled at the boss of the Piranha Plants.

"Ooh, now it's saying that Petey should help Piranha Plant out because Petey's good for nothing but serving the superior Piranha Plant," Crazy pointed out, suddenly appearing next to the two plants alongside Falco, Duck Hunt Dog, and Zigzagoon.

"Wait, why does she think she's the superior Piranha Plant?" DHD asked.

"Piranha Plant!" the generic Piranha Plant replied.

"Because according to her, anyone who gets into Smash is automatically superior to those who don't," Crazy translated.

Petey suddenly got enraged from what Piranha Plant had spewed out, growling one of his iconic growls before slapping Piranha Plant off with his leaf hands. Piranha Plant flew back over and through the brawling crowd, knocking down Lucario, Dedede, Ridley, Isabelle, and Spring Man during her speedy and uncontrollable flight. Once Piranha Plant made it through the crowd, Bandana Dee placed his spear into the ground and swung around it to kick Piranha Plant back. This time, Piranha Plant couldn't even get through the crowd before Wario used his Corkscrew attack to send her up above the rampaging weirdos. Waluigi leaped after Piranha Plant and served her back over to Petey. Falco and Duck Hunt Dog shot at the flying plant with their Blaster and NES Zapper respectively, though most of their shots missed, and Falco even accidentally shot down an innocent bird flying behind Piranha Plant. Eventually, Piranha Plant managed to regain control of herself and spat out a spike ball at Petey, who merely sent the spike ball back by headbutting it. Piranha Plant barely dodged her reflected spike ball before landing in front of the Piranha Plant boss. Petey tried to slap Piranha Plant again, but the potted plant slid back and retreated back into her pot to attempt her Long-Stem Strike move again. She succeeded, managing to bite onto Petey's leafy hand, but this only allowed Petey swing her around and slam her into the ground. Petey managed to force Piranha Plant into losing her grip with one last, heavier swing of his hand, sending her flying away yet again. With Piranha Plant in the air, Petey started spitting out his own spike balls at her. All of them missed, so Petey instead decided to spit out some brown goo right where the generic Piranha Plant was about to land. Piranha Plant could barely move in the brown goo, giving Petey the chance to spin up into the air, his large leaf hands sticking out, before he used his hands like wings to fly over to Piranha Plant's location. Once right above the generic Piranha Plant, Petey let himself drop butt-first onto Piranha Plant.

And once he did crush Piranha Plant beneath his butt, the earth shook, knocking nearly everyone down.

"Why's everyone decided to fall over all of a sudden?" Crazy asked as Falco and Duck Hunt Dog fell over as well.

"What the heck happened this time?!" Master Hand demanded to know, standing at the gates alongside Meta Knight and Toad. Petey quickly leaped off of Piranha Plant and ran off behind the palace.

"... Wait, are we NOT in a match right now? Were we fighting an actual violent fight?" Spring Man wondered.

"Piranha Plant started it!" Wario, Waluigi, Falco, Crazy, and Lucario squealed, all of them pointing to the dazed plant.

"Good grief... looks like I should've taken all those complaints more seriously," the giant hand muttered. Master Hand yanked Piranha Plant out of Petey's goo and shook her clean. "You're coming with me. As for the rest of you involved in... whatever just happened! You all must clean up this mess, at once!" Everyone else groaned, but Wario and Waluigi growled at Piranha Plant as she and Master Hand passed by them. Piranha Plant growled back before she got carried inside the Smasher's Palace. With Piranha Plant out of sight, everyone started cleaning up. Wario lifted up the spike ball that was keeping Pichu pinned down. Pichu got up, and her head swelled up, forcing Wario to back off just a tiny bit. Meanwhile, Toad hoisted Dr. Wily over his dotted head and chucked him in the direction of Beam Sword Beach.

~Beach from Pokémon Snap starts again~

Speaking of Beam Sword Beach, Natsuki, Fortran, and Plankton were still there by the boat, keeping an eye out of Wily. Weegee teleported next to them, covered in sand.

"No, I did not find Wily, and yes, I am covered in sand. Do NOT ask," the evil meme groaned.

"SOMEONE HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Wily screeched, prompting the trio to look around for where he was. Soon enough, Wily accidentally landed on top of Weegee, burying the evil meme in the sand. "Bleh... what'd I miss?" Weegee angrily poked his head out of the sand, raising Wily upwards. "Oh, hey Weegee. That plant that was on Waluigi's case got beat up. Just letting you know."

"How wonderful," Weegee sarcastically groaned.

"Also there's a bunch of crabs running off with the boat," Wily added. Everyone glanced at where the boat was, noticing that a bunch of Krabby and Kingler was dancing on the boat as it made its way out to sea.

"... I hate everything," Weegee cursed. However, just above the five villains was a pair of ridiculously elongated binoculars. Said pair of binoculars were being held by Waluigi as he and Wario spied on the villains.

"Waa, at least this is making my day feel a little better," Waluigi remarked.

"Waa... same here, Waluigi. Same here," Wario replied, taking the binoculars.
