AN: Hey guys, sorry for the hiatus for a short while. I actually decided to take things into a different spin and deleted two chapters to replace them with this one. I realized the previous wasn't where I wanted Kaiya to be in her story. I know this may affect your viewing of my writing and cause doubt. But I do hope you enjoy this more.

Thank you for even reading in the first place!

Scene 27

Kaiya had spotted Sasuke and his new group.

Yet she didn't go to him.

It wasn't her place to.

That was for Naruto and Sakura.

What Kaiya wanted was Itachi.

Itachi.

Her first love.

She needed to find out the truth.

Kaiya knew that Itachi would be contacting Sasuke soon.

Or the other way around.

But she needed to get to Itachi first.

Sasuke's mission.

If Sasuke was strong enough to kill Orochimaru, is he finally strong enough to kill Itachi?

Kaiya's heart felt like it was breaking all over again.

Did she still love Itachi?

After all these years.

But there was Kakashi also.

Her true love.

She finally admitted to herself truly.

Kaiya was in love with Kakashi, but couldn't commit until she resolved things with Itachi.

She ventured to right outside of the town she was at and sat down on a bench sighing.

Looking at the bento box she had just bought.

It looked plain to her.

Food didn't seem to satisfy her.

Kaiya had always felt insecure.

She wasn't as skinny as the other girls and always felt inadequate.

"You're beautiful." She remembered Kakashi calling her.

Kaiya couldn't see it though.

No matter how much it was tempting to not eat, her stomach still growls.

As she was just about finished she heard a tree branch break.

Something about the air had shifted now.

Kaiya quickly went to throw away her garbage and went in the direction of the sound.

A bell chimed softly.

A chime that reminded her of the last time she saw Itachi.

Is it him? She wondered.

It was.

"Kaiya?"
