The only areas off limits to the elves visiting The Kingdom were the two workshops and the testing building, very few people were allowed in those areas. So when Celeborn and Galadriel asked to observe my method of smithing I brought them to the magical district. "I see you use magic during every stage of creation. That will make teaching you our method of enchanting much easier."

The three of us were watching clones in various stages of creating amulets, turning away from them I took a massive chunk of mithril out of my trunk. "I've been experimenting with how far I can manipulate metals, take this ore for example. I kept it in liquid form for as long as possible and now it can support more magic."

Celeborn and Galadriel looked over and focused on the ore. "It also seems to have amplified what makes mithril special."

"Yes, as well as diminishing any negative aspect of the metal. Not that there were many in mithril, but now there are none to be seen." The two of them exchanged looks before looking back at me, both of them seemed impressed.

"What would it take to get some of this metal to bring back with us?" I do my best to keep my expression neutral. I pause to make it appear as though I'm thinking, I want it to appear as though this is a difficult decision.

"Saturating the metal takes a lot of time and magic, I wanted to keep this within The Kingdom. In the spirit of our new alliance and your willingness to teach us all I ask is you keep the existence of Telperion and Laurelin a secret." Without hesitation the two of them agree.

"We have already talked to the other elves about doing the very same. There are far too many who would want to invade your island to gain control over the tree." Galadriel nodded in agreement.

"That is not even taking into account just how many people would raze this Island and salt the land to be able to take or destroy the power of Telperion and Laurelin." I put the ore in an empty chest and hand it over.

"The chest is enchanted to keep a constant weight no matter how much is stored within. It's made from the same wood as the four cardinal trees, so it's very strong." Once again Celeborn and Galadriel look impressed.

"The chest is worth almost as much as the ore, would we be able to get another?" I laugh in response and take another out of my much larger trunk and hand it to Celeborn.

"There's a smaller selection of other metals that have been treated the same as the mithril, anymore will cost you." Celeborn gave a short bow in thanks.

"I was not sure when we were told of this alliance the High King wanted to make with you, but I admit I was wrong. You have given us much and yet ask for little, thank you my friend." Smiling, I returned his short bow.

"Think nothing of it, I'm limited in what I am allowed to do so I'm happy to be able to provide what I can. The fact you are willing to help me improve my ability in enchanting is worth the time and effort it took to work the metal."

"It will not take much to teach you our form of enchanting, you are part way there already. The other Elves will be leaving in a few days, but if you are willing my wife and I will stay here for as long as it takes." Galadriel nods in agreement,

"Of course, you are welcome to stay here as long as you like. I feel we can learn much from each other and you are welcome to join any classes within the magical district you like." With that the three of them returned to watching my clones working. The clones started dismissing themselves once several amulets were crafted.

The amulets themselves were made of enhanced mithril, they were set in the shape of Telperion and Laurelin. The trees flowed like the original, either gold or silver. "Once someone wears the amulet only they can see the light they provide. They also bolster the spirit of those that wear them."

Celeborn and Galadriel each take one and put them on, instantly the light seems to disappear. "They can only be taken off by the ones wearing them, and only the pure of heart can bear the touch of them."

"Another priceless gift.." I interrupted

"The cost is very little truth be told and I am happy to provide them for my new friends. I would suggest you keep the extras and only give them to those you deem worthy." Celeborn and Galadriel exchange glances.

"I feel as though I must be honest and tell you we were not going to teach you everything. I feel ashamed that I was going to treat you this way, I unreservedly apologize." I wave the apology away.

"There is no need for that Celeborn, everyone makes mistakes but few are willing to admit to them or apologize for it. I don't fault you for your caution." The three of us fall into silence for a moment. I give them a seed of the duplication ability but limit them to three each.

Celeborn puts the amulets in his new chest. "Why don't we go to The Grove and relax and make plans for teaching and learning?"

***ANIMAL SANCTUARY***

The largest dragon in The Kingdom was the Ukrainian Ironbelly taken from the Tr-Wizard tournament, not only was she the largest she was also the most intelligent. She was known as Yphedinth, The First Flame. Her fire, like her magic, was strong and potent and she ruled over the other dragons.

There were twelve different species of dragons that lived on Nomanisan Island and their population was fairly large. At any given time there were two dozen dragons around the Island, they rotated who spent time outside of the specially made habitats.

Yphedinth was the only dragon who was always outside, nobody questioned it. After all she was the first in many ways, she was also the only one gifted with duplication and shape-changing. Alexander and her shared a powerful bond, a bond that was new to them both.

So it was no surprise to Yphedinth when Alexander appeared close to her. "Would you like to help me with something Yphedinth?" The massive dragon nodded before shifting her form.

"I would like to clear part of the jungle down below, with your great strength and size you can pull the tree from the ground root and all. I would like you to strip the branch and roots and carefully stack the main trees for later us."

Yphedinth could have verbally responded, but she seldom spoke so she just nodded and apparated down to the base of the mountain. Once she got there she kept her humanoid form but grew much, much larger.

She took her time pulling up trees, roots and all before striping the branches and roots into one pile with magic. After that the trees were set to the side, one by one Yphedinth started removing the jungle.

***ISLAND FARMS***

Fleur, Luna and I had just finished doing laps around the Island and we stopped at the farm, after cooling down we sat in the shade and drank fruit juice and ate a snack. "Ok fine, this isn't bad. I admit we have been slacking on our training."

Luna winked at me and Fleur huffed. "Have you thought about when we're returning to our home world?"

I think about ignoring the subject change, but decide to answer instead. "There's a few more places I want to go first. There's a few more metals I want to get and study, I also want to go back to the empty world to test a few things."

"Why not use the test building instead?" I facepalm and think about that for a moment. "There's no need to test things there when we have a confident way here and an abundance of time."

"That's a fantastic point, there are still some places I would like to go before we return and fix the mistakes I have made. Still, it won't be long before we return." Fleur and Luna exchanged looks before Luna spoke up.

"Fleur and I both have destinations we would like to visit as well before returning home." Luna stops for a moment so I gesture for her to continue. "We just want to know what you think."

"I don't see why we can't go where you want, I have the next couple of Jumps chosen but after that…"

"It's up to us?" I nod in agreement and both Fleur and Luna grin. "Good, we're saving it for a surprise. For now though we want to talk about an idea we have for new fruit."

"Please, go ahead I've been designing something myself but I'm at a loss at the moment. Perhaps your ideas will help me get over it." Fleur and Luna had a silent discussion before a Fleur began.

"I want to make a new type of wine grape that's unique to Nomanisan Island, at least three of them so that we can make our own wines." I pull out a notepad to start writing down ideas.

"Do you have any specific ideas in mind for the properties of the wine grapes? A good example would be a cherry grape that would make a young red wine." Fleur thinks for a moment before responding.

"I hadn't really thought that far, I was just hoping to expand the alcohols we make to include wines."

"That's fine, Luna and I can help with that I'm sure. I would suggest aiming for three different types of red wine grapes and three white wine grapes. With wine pairing a good rule of thumb is 'if it grows together it goes together.'" I pause as I write some ideas down.

"This can be an ongoing project that you work on, I'm willing to help but before we go ahead you need to learn more about wine and grapes. Since this is your idea it's going to be your project." Fleur nods and accepts the notebook when I hand it to her. With that Luna claps and tells me her idea.

"I want to mix different fruits, like apples and oranges." I wait for a moment for Luna to continue and when she doesn't I give my opinion.

"I'm willing to help Luna, but it's going to be your project. Let me know what you need and I can help." I had Luna a notebook and the three of us started writing down ideas, after a few minutes I suggested going to the mansion and our library.

***MAGICAL DISTRICT***

A week later a group of clones was taking most of the elves back to their kingdom while Celeborn and Galadriel remained behind. They had noticed their new ability to duplicate themselves, I didn't correct their assumption that it was due to the magic of the Island.

I may have trusted them, but this was something I would keep a secret from all but my companions. "I appreciate you teaching classes, remember anything you want to keep a secret is fine with me."

Celeborn shook his head. "You have proven yourself to be our friend and ally. We only ask that our secrets remain in your Kingdom." Nodding my head I come to a discussion.

"I am willing to teach you both the art of Alchemy, it's a demanding subject to learn. There is a lot of knowledge required, at least one duplicate will have to dedicate themselves to it." The two Elves looked at each other before turning and agreeing.

"One duplicate teaching, one learning while the third will be spending time in the new forest you are planting."

"Perfect Celeborn, the trees are actually a product of Alchemy. One of my greatest creations." I send a few clones with the duplicate Elves to explain and describe the properties of the tree themselves.

One set of duplicates left with a clone of mine to teach, while another went with a clone to the library to start the process of learning. While I went to my small class of advanced Alchemy students.

***FIRST ENCHANTING LESSON***

Celeborn, Galadriel and I were sitting in an otherwise empty classroom and moments later Fleur and Luna joined us. Once they were ready Celeborn began. "Elven Enchanting is a long slow process that constantly enforces your desires upon that which you are enchanting. You must have a clear picture of the outcome you want, it is that picture and the application of power that changes the nature of the object you are enchanting."

Galadriel takes over after seeing we were paying attention. "The clearer the picture, the stronger the desire and longer amount of time you take the more powerful the final enchantment becomes. More people can produce more power, but as a result the outcome must be simpler."

"For now though we must begin by testing the quality and depths of your magic."
