Morning rises, in terms of a time cycle, Oliver arises, from his shared bed. Roused to meet appealing, nourishing smell. It was under his nose, entering inside his holes. This transparent gassy stench is pulling his whole body to follow in direct.
Oliver, still preventing his haste in pacing over the kitchen, tunes more focused in doing a few mini-morning routes, whilst trying to ignore his recent dreams.
Kara positions herself, dressed in standard ponytail hair and dressed, on sofa, watching TV, looking over the latest news. Flash saving 40 kids in a bus, as well as putting the Trickster behind bars.
Kara soon heard her boyfriend's presence, seeing him in the process.
"Hey Ollie"
"Hi", Oliver replied, with a sensed smile. The latter proceeds to phase further to lounge point, viewing over the news, what Kara perceived on.
Kara noticed it prior. "Seems your student has been doing really well covering up every establishment thrown at Central City". Kara leans her head, gazing over Oliver, who gave a nod. "Didn't you once tell me that Central City greets in debt to him, as the Flash".
"He is. Everyone loves the Flash. He stopped a lot of threats", Oliver deemed, even thinking that he could be a better player than him. When Barry came to seek advices from Oliver, Oliver showed a belief that he can be way better than him, he fairly needs to find the path lying in front of him.
"If you say you believe he is as he is, then why is Barry still avoiding everyone's gratitude?"
"Barry, as the Flash, dons a different side of the asset, he brings them hope. His city presents a lighter tone than mine. Just like your city", he explained, in utmost respect for the speedster. "When I came to him, he was fine working with me on a quick post. He does have a lot of things on his mind. Barry's a good man, he's just not in a perfect tactile property". Barry spilled words with Kara, when they first met that he acts, that his rudeness is what he's normally pulling on. Because of Oliver's truth, Kara now knows it was a lie. "He didn't mean to lie to you. As you can tell. He's quite trust-less. Just like you from your world".
Kara, after hearing Oliver mention her world, presumes to think about her world. "Do you reckon Alex is okay in the D.E.O.?".
Oliver didn't want both their hope to go so high. It's more of a reckless rational side of the view.
"Belief isn't my strong word Kara. But I won't be brutal. But I do have a high doubt that your sister would factually be remained in same pieces". Oliver had beforehand felt it was cruel. He reshapes his tone in painless voice for Kara, who lowered her heard after witnessing Oliver's barbaric line. "We can travel back to your world, if you want?".
Girl of Steel consciously opens her mind, in the inside. Thinking whether she'll standstill in Oliver's world, let her world die without the hands of Supergirl, guiding them back, or come back, and do what the world needs, even if they refuse to accept her as the shining example of justice.
"It's your choice Kara, no matter what, I'll always stay by your back", Oliver willingly offers.
It's been over almost two months since they left Kara's world. Earth is maximum at series danger, of an upcoming incursion. Earth doesn't have its heroes. Batman's still missing. Superman left the planet with Lois. And Kara reluctantly left her world, by Alex. Supergirl's world is tanked with thousands, millions of aliens. Mongul and Warlord. Sun-Eaters. Another Doomsday. Even Apokolips itself could go to war with Earth. Many instances.
"Oliver. I am my world's last hope, if anything's to happen, I need to be there for them. Not just the world. The whole universe".
Oliver nods in approval. "Then let's move". Accepting her forth-state of request, without her acknowledging it. He's jumped in rivalry to Kara's, pitied to walk away, last time.
Oliver and Kara mutate to their egos. Oliver in his pale-green hood, with dark-green pants, wielding a bow and arrow. Kara in her school-girl red and blue attire outfit, with symbol of S.
"When did you-". He didn't need to say it. It's obvious she went on expedition, to watch over people, saving certain individuals, from other nations, whom, very close, fell to their rigid fatals. News reported a unknown blur saved lives, no one caught a clear sight of it, they all assumed it was the Flash. But Oliver didn't, he knew it was Kara. "Never mind". Latter avoids Kara's relentless smile, taking out an extrapolator, pressing the top button, to open a boom tube.
The coupled-duo walk straight to their destined portal, prepared to subject to the boom tube's side-effects.
Earth-38
National City
Boom tube appears over a rooftop in one of National City's towers. Oliver and Kara walk out of it, detecting any alterations in today's city. Every thing is lofty.
"What?!", Kara exclaimed in disbelief. She recalled before, herself invading her own city, reasoned in same pace in other cities. "This can't be right, Oliver".
"Agreed. If I'm correct about one thing, you weren't in this world, this whole time. Scrapers' could've taken almost an year to rebuild", said Oliver. "Unless-". Oliver neglected to finish his line as dismal horns echo nearby. Crowd praising an unknown figure Oliver and Kara never perceived of. They both gestured themselves to follow the sound. Kara gripped Oliver by the waist, launching herself in air, to a disproportionate sound.
The two ashore on one of National City's narrow buildings' roof, discerned to see what the crowd are cheering on.
Citizens of National City forking flags of the symbol of L.
"Any of those you recognise?", Oliver asked.
"No". Girl of Steel never saw a single titular symbol replenishing a different agenda of L in Krypton. It's from Earth.
Oliver browses the skyscrapers nearby. No limps or shakes. "Do think your cousin came back?".
"No. He should still be in Argo City. If only you're smart enough to predict the chances of birth", said Kara. Quoting on Lois's chance of releasing a baby's birth, and that Superman, as a father, needs to be there for both. And mocking Oliver being the complete opposite of an Einstein's brilliance.
In bits of seconds, Kara heard cripples of air clouding away from an exterior force. Kara looks back, seconds Oliver subsequent. A flyer lands down.
"A Kryptonian?", Kara questionably named. Direction differences are either Daxamites, New God, or a categorised alien from a specified planet, possibly one of Clark's friends or foes.
