It's early, the sun hasn't come up yet. Madi has already woken up and leaves her room for her mother's room. She opens and closes the door, climbing up on the bed snuggling in between her mothers. Lexa peeks an eye open knowing someone has entered her chambers. Seen that it was just Madi, wraps an arm around her keeping her close and falls back to sleep. The sun came up shining through the window, the shine woke up Aden from his slumber. He looks around the room rubbing his eyes, noticed that Madi isn't in the room. He panics for a moment rushes out of the bedroom. Running to his mother's room opening and closing the door quietly also climbing up in the bed between Klark and Madi laying down. Lexa peeked her eye open again in the morning, Aden has also come into their chambers. She falls back to sleep again. Clark wraps an arm around Aden in her sleep hoping they'll get another hour or two for sleep without any other interruptions.
An hour and a half later Clarke sits up looking over to her left both her children and Lexa are still sleeping away. Clarke picks up her sketchbook and starts to sketch the precious moment laying beside her. When she finishes her sketch she just smiles at it and smiles at the three in bed with her. Clarke brushes her hand over Aden's forehead gently moving his hair smiling. She sits and waits for them to wake up. There was a light knock on the door. Clarke looks in the direction of the knock, then looks back at the three sleeping figures in bed. She slowly gets off the bed not waking them heads to the door and cracks the door open quietly to see who is there. It's Lincoln.
"Breakfast is ready." Lincoln whispered.
"Thank you. We'll be there soon. They're still asleep." Clarke whispered back.
"Heda, is still asleep? That never happens." Lincoln whispered again.
"It's exhausting taking care of the Clans and two children. You'll figure that soon enough or have one of your own." Clarke replied quietly.
"I don't know, being able to hand them back to their parents is good enough. If Heda says its true, Madi is going to run us to the ground." Lincoln whispered.
"She will. See you in a bit." Clarke replied quietly closing the door, walking to the bath to get ready for traveling.
Lexa finally rises from the bed walks into the bath, sees that Clarke is already dressed for the day. She wraps her arms around her waist from behind kisses her neck.
"Morning." Clarke whispered.
"Morning." Lexa replied continuing to kissing Clarke's neck.
"We have children in the other room." Clarke whispered again.
"I know, can you let me appreciate you for a moment." Lexa whispered back.
"We have all the time world to appreciate our moments together. Come get ready too. I want to get this over with. We must wake the children too. I heard Octavia is still sleeping." Clarke turned around in the embrace and kissed her.
"I'll send Madi out to attack, Okteivia then." Lexa replied with a smirk appearing on her lips.
Lexa quickly gets ready for the day with Clarke's help. They go back to their bed and wake up the children.
"Madi, go terrorize Okteivia in her room. She's still sleeping." Lexa said helping her off the bed.
"Okay!" Madi rushes out the room to Octavia's room.
Lexa, Clarke, and Aden are waiting in the room in silence. Madi quietly opens the door and closes it behind her. She walks over to the bed waves her hand over Octavia's face to make sure she's still asleep. Madi pulls off all the furs from the bed, climbs on the bed starts to jump on the bed, and yells.
"TAVIA! WAKE UP!" Madi yelling at top of her lungs.
"Madi!" Octavia sits up and grabs the child.
"Wake up! Tavia!" Madi yelled again trying to get out her grasp.
"Clarke! Lexa! You sent your evil child to wake me up!" Octavia shouted making sure they hear it.
"Hahahaha." Madi stops squirming and laughs.
"Who sent you, Madi?" Octavia asked rubbing her head.
"No one." Madi laughed at her.
"Fine, I'll find out. Go get ready your mother's are leaving today." Octavia let go of her.
Madi leaves the room, still laughing as she goes to her room to get ready. Lexa and Clarke in her room to help her. Lexa picks her up carrying her into the dining hall followed by Clarke. Aden, Lincoln, and Octavia are already there.
"That was dirty, Lexa." Octavia announced watching Lexa walking into the dining hall with Madi in her arms.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Lexa replied placing Madi in her seat.
"You sent that one into my room." Octavia trying to get answers out of the commander.
"Good luck getting any answers." Clarke said in between bites.
"Clarke, why was I woken up rudely?" Octavia asked.
"Don't interrogate me. Just eat so we can say our goodbyes." Clarke ordered.
"Sooner or later, I'll figure out who sent the little monster after me." Octavia said under her breath continues eating.
"Don't look at us, Lincoln sold you out." Clarke said finishing her meal.
"Lincoln! How could you?! I needed rest before I take on the Madi and Aden for however how long they're gone." Octavia couldn't believe it.
"I'm sorry. You wouldn't get up early. We knew they were leaving today." Lincoln said looking at Octavia.
"We're going to make sure everything is ready for your departure." Octavia mentioned getting up from her seat.
"That's already been taken care of. Prince Roan and Echo are waiting for you both at the entrance." Indra announced.
"Right, we need to go then. The sooner we get this over with. The sooner we can get back to take both Aden and Madi to Arkadia." Clarke mentioned.
They all leave the dining hall to the entrance. Both Clarke and Lexa crouch down to hug their children. Telling their goodbyes and they'll meet again. Lexa whispered in Madi's ear to give Okteivia trouble while they are gone. Lexa mounts her horse with Clarke's help, knowing she's still recovering from an injury. Clarke does the same and mounts her horse and they leave.
