Jane and Maura took a seat next to Camille and Robin. Angela, Tommy and Frankie sat directly behind them. Before Jane knew it the beginning services where over. The doors opened to the waiting hearse. Everyone put the pallbearers filled out into the bright morning sun.

Herself, Tommy, Frankie and 3 of Frost relatives grabbed a hold of the handles and lifted and carried their friend to the awaiting car. After the doors closed Maura quickly made her way to Jane. She could see that the brunettes legs were ready to give.

They all rode in a limousine that followed the hearse to graveyard. Once there again Jane helped move her friend again. Jane took a seat on the other side of Camille, Maura sat next to her. They all listened to beautiful words of the pastor and shed many more tears. The pastor asked if anyone wanted to say a few words before finishing out the service.

Jane hesitated for a moment before standing. She made her way to side of her bestfriends casket looking out at the people who showed she cleared her throat a few times before finding her words.

"As most of you know, Barry was my bestfriend, he was the greatest friend, brother and son anyone could of ever asked for. My only regret is not telling him how much he truly meant to me. Frost if you can hear, I hope that you watch over all of us and keep us safe. I hope that where ever you are you are happy. All of us here are going to miss you beyond belief." Jane took a shuttering breath before continuing.

"I have a pome here that i thought would be appropriate. I would like to read it now if that's okay?" Jane asked looking at Camille and Robin who both nodded.

"Those special memories of you will always make me smile, if only I could have you back for just a little while. Then we could sit and talk Again like we use to do, you always meant so much to me and always will too.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. The fact that you're no longer here will always cause me pain but you're forever in my heart until we meet again."

Jane wiped away her tears as she placed a rose on top of his casket. Camille followed, then Robin and then everyone else. Maura gently placed her hand in Jane's and gave it a squeeze Camille pulled Jane into a tight hug and sobbed into her shoulder.

"Thank you Janie, that was beautiful." Camille said pulling back to wipe away her tears. "Oh Jane I'm sorry, I got mascara on her white shirt. Jane looked down and shrugged.

"It's okay Camille, I can get that out." Jane says with a soft smile. "Now, let's all go and celebrate Barlow's life like he would want us to." Jane said pulling the woman into another hug.

Maura stayed close to Jane as they made their way out of the cemetery.

"Are you okay my love?" Maura asked stopping by Angela's car.

"I'm okay Maur. Thank you for asking and thank you for being here. And for being you." Jane smiled, looking into those hazel green eyes and seen nothing but pure love looking back at her. See

"I love you Maur." The brunette said leaning in to kiss her beautiful girlfriend.

"I love you too Jane so so much." Maura replies bring Jane into a tight hug.

"Alright you two, I love you both but these shoes are killing my old feet. Are we ready to go?" Angela asked standing next to Jane, rubbing her daughter's back.

Maura giggled.

"Yeah Ma, we are ready." Jane said looking one last time over her shoulder at the graveyard before sliding into the backseat next to Maura.

"Aw I wanted to sit next to Maura." Tommy said with a wide smile.

"Shut up Tommy." Jane said laughing. Maura chuckled lacing her hand with Jane's she rested her head on the brunettes shoulder. Jane smiles and kiss the top of her head.

The ride back to Maura's was filled with a little laughter. Mostly between Jane and Tommy picking at each other. The night was spent reminiscing, a few more tears were shed, laughter was spread, good food eaten and drinks until the late night hours.
