Chapter 45 Watching Rugrats

Jake's POV

As Izzy and I were kissing, Cubby came up to us and asked us a question.

"Hey, Jake, can we watch Rugrats?" Cubby asked me.

"I don't see why not." I said to him as I turned on the TV and Rugrats was on.

"Yay Rugrats!" Cubby said with excitement.

"I don't see what the big deal is Rugrats Jake!" Izzy said to me.

"Oh come on Izzy, just give it's a try it's funny." I said to her.

"Yeah and besides you love babies." Cubby said to her.

"Well I can't argue with that logic I do love babies. All right, I'll give it a try." Izzy said to us.

"That's my girl! And you are just so cute." I said to her as I pinched her cheek.

" Jake, you're so sweet." Izzy said to me.

"I know, I am." I said to her.

"So, what do you boys want to talk about?" Izzy asked us.

" I really don't know Izz." I said to her.

"Yeah, me neither." Cubby said to her.

Izzy's POV

As we are watching Rugrats, someone opened the door. And who was it? Why it was Stormy, Lisa, Austin and Luke of course.

"Surprise!" Austin said to us.

"Austin, Luke, Stormy Lisa what are you guys doing here?" I asked them.

"Well we all just wanted to make a flashy entrance. Austin said to us.

"Austin that's so sweet of you all of you actually." I said to them.

"We got you a little something Izzy." Austin said as he pulled out a teddy bear and a card.

"Oh my God I love them thank you Austin!" I said to him.

"You're welcome!" Austin said to me.

"Read what the card says." Luke said to me as I started to read the card.

" We hope you get well soon, and please come back to the dance studio we miss you love Troup A." I said as I was done reading the card.

"You guys are so sweet and you let everyone signed it nice." I said to them.

"Well, thank you guys so much this is really sweet." I said to them.

"Hey, Cubby!" Stormy said to him.

"Hello Stormy! Give me some sugar!" Cubby said to her as they kissed.

As Cubby and Stormy were kissing, I was wondering if I should go back to the dance studio.

"Hey, Jake should I really come back to the dance studio?" I asked him.

"Whatever you want to choose Izzy, it's your life." Jake said to me.

" Yes I'm aware of that but are you sure that I will choose the right one?" I asked him.

"Izzy you're my girlfriend, you should choose whatever you want to choose." Jake said to me.

"So what you're saying is, that I should listen to my heart?" I asked him.

"Yes, you should listen to your heart." Jake said to me.

"Thanks, Jake, I love you." I said to him.

"I love you too Izz!" Jake said to me.

"Hey, Izzy, ate you okay staying in the hospital?" Luke asked me.

"Yeah I'm okay I have Jake and cubby to take care of me. Along with the doctors, and nurses of course." I said to him.

"Has anything changed since you stayed in the hospital?" Luke asked me.

"Well, I've got anxiety." I said to him.

" Oh my God, are you okay?" Austin asked me.

"No, I'm not okay I guess this anxiety thing is just going to be in me for the rest of my life, and I don't think it's ever going to go away anytime soon." I said to him.

"So, what your saying is that the anxiety won't ever leave you?" Stormy asked me.

"Yep!" I said to her.

"Wow." They all said at the same time despite Jake and Cubby.

"What caused you to have anxiety Izzy?" Stormy asked me.

"It was Mr. John and Fire." I said to her.

" Wow. So, Mr. John and fire caused you to have anxiety?" Luke asked me.

"Yes! Did you not hear what I just told Stormy?" I asked him.

"Izzy, remember what I told you, to take deep breaths okay." Jake said to me as I started to take deep breaths.

"But Jake, Luke said..." I said to him.

"Izzy take deep breaths." Jake said to me as I continued to take deep breaths.

"fine I'll take deep breaths I won't like it though." I said to him.

"I don't know what the big deal is Jake with Izzy having anxiety." Cubby said to him.

" Cubby you were here when the doctor announced that she has anxiety." Jake said to him.

"I didn't here that Jake." Cubby said to him.

"Cubby was probably daydreaming about Stormy again Jake." I said to him as Stormy have Cubby the one eyebrow.

"It's a long story." Cubby said to Stormy.

"it will be long if I tell it Cubby." Jake said to him.

"Jake, SHUSH!" cubby said to him.

" What you don't want me to tell Stormy how you go into Stormy Land, whenever she's not around?" Jake said to him.

"No!" Cubby said to him.

"Oh come on May I please tell her? Cubby?" Jake asked him.

"Absolutely not Jake you are not going to tell my Stormy about my business. Stormy wants to hear that, she would have to hear it from me not you." Cubby said to him.

"I'm going to tell her Cubby." Jake said to him.

"You better keep your mouth shut Jake." Cubby said to him.

" Jake maybe you shouldn't tell her that's Cubby's business, not yours." I said to him.

" You're not the boss of me." Jake said to me.

"Actually I am I'm your girlfriend listen to me." I said to him.

" Fine! But you do realize I'm older than you right?" Jake asked me.

"Yes I'm aware of that, but you should not tell Cubby's business when he's in the room." I said to him.

"Jake, just out of curiosity I do not want to hear Cubby's story." Stormy said to him.

"Okay." Jake said to her.

"Hey Izzy, do you like staying in the hospital?" Luke asked me.

"No I do not but thanks to Mr. John he put me into the hospital." I said to him.

"Let's not forget he abused you, and got you pregnant." Cubby said to me.

"Thank you for the reminder CUBBY!" I said to him while grinning my teeth.

"Anyway, we got to go home. We just came here to say hi, and see how your doing Izzy." Austin said to me.

"Can I stay please Jake?" Stormy asked him.

"I don't see why not you can sleep with Cubby on the couch tonight." Jake said to her.

"Yay, we got to have a sleepover on the couch." Cubby said with excitement.

"Don't get your hopes up, Cubby she's going to go home tomorrow anyway." Jake said to him.

"I wouldn't worry about that Jake, besides I love Stormy, and I'm going to spend the rest of my life with her." cubby said to him.

"Aww that's so sweet of you to say that about me Cubby." Stormy said to him as she gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Aww!" We all said at the same time.

Jake's POV

Once Austin and Luke left, Lisa came back from wherever she went.

"Lisa, where did you go?" I asked her.

"I went to go get some soup, for Izzy." Lisa said to me.

"Thanks Lisa, I am hungry." Izzy said to her as Lisa handed her the soup and a spoon.

"I'm sorry that you had to go through what Mr. John did to you Izzy." Lisa said to her.

" Thank you Lisa,I just couldn't believe that he did all this to me he abused me he also got me pregnant. I would have loved to take care of that baby but after what mr. John did to me, I didn't want to. Because I was think the baby would grow up to be Mr. John jr. Who beat me up. And trust me I do not want to go through that again." Izzy said to her.

"Izzy, you are a brave generous young woman, and I would have never believe you in the beginning but since you told me the truth about Mr. John, I I'm so sorry that this happened to you." I said to her.

" Jake it's not your fault, apparently it's Mr. John's. If I hadn't told him about the Troups in the first place, this would have never happened." Izzy said to me.

" But it did happen. This all started in the office Izzy." I said to her.

"I know I know I just feel so broken right now Jake." Izzy said to me.

" Don't worry, cubby and I are going to help you okay we are going to protect you no matter what. And if it's okay with you I want Lisa to protect you as well." I said to her.

" She's your best friend she should protect you as well as Izzy." I said to her.

" Would you protect me Lisa?" Izzy asked her.

"Of course. Izzy, you're my friend I don't want anything happening to you and I bet Jake and Cubby feel the same way too." Lisa said to her.

"We always do!" I said to her.

As I turned to the right of Izzy's bed I saw that Stormy and Cubby had feel asleep. So I walked over to them and covered them up with the blanket and gave them a kiss on their foreheads.

"Sweet dreams young lovebirds." I said to them as they smiled.

"Did you hear that I have anxiety Lisa?" Izzy asked her.

"No, actually I didn't know, I'm sorry that happened." Lisa said to her.

"Yeah, me too it's too much right now. I just want this anxiety to end." Izzy said to her as she started to cry.

"Aww, Izzy." I said to her ad Lisa and I gave her a hug to help her calm down.

"Hey, don't cry, okay. I know it's really hard to deal with anxiety, bit we are here to get you through your everyday life." I said to her.

"Jake, I love you." Izzy said to me.

"I love you too Izzy." I said to her.

"Uh, Lisa just out of curiosity, where's Princess?" I asked her.

"Oh Ally's taking care of her." Lisa said to me.

"Jake, what happened?" Izzy asked me.

"Nothing happened." I said to her.

"Jake, tell me right now!" Izzy said to me.

"Bart wasn't watching over Princess, and she was about to get herself killed by touching the outlet. Please don't hurt me." I said to her.

"Thank you for telling me." Izzy said to me as I was now confused.

"Wait, so you're not mad at me?" I asked her.

"Jake why would I be mad at you you're my boyfriend. I'm actually mad at Bart for not taking care of our daughter." Izzy said to me.

" Don't worry about Bart, I told my parents what happened and they punished him for it." Lisa said to her.

"Okay then, I'm not mad anymore. Since you told your parents about what Bart did, I thank you for that." Izzy said to her.

"You're welcome, and trust me he does not do well with kids." Lisa said to her.

"Oh don't worry, I already know." Izzy said to her as we all laughed.

"Well, I am going home, tell Stormy I said goodnight, and I'll text you tomorrow morning Izzy." Lisa said to her.

" I will, bye Lisa and goodnight." We both said to her as she left.

After Lisa left, it was time for me and Izzy to go to sleep.

"Well, Jake I am tired." Izzy said to me.

"Yeah, me too." I said to her as I climb in her hospital bed and cuddled with her.

"Alright my king, sweet dreams." Izzy said to me.

"Goodnight my princess I love you so much." I said to her.

"I love you too Jake, and sweet dreams to you as well." Izzy said to me as we went to sleep holding each other tightly.

As I started wake up, I was on the exam bed with my legs up as I was wearing a hospital gown.

"What's going on?" I asked the doctor as they were shining a light on my nuts.

"You got hit in the nuts Mr. Hutchinson." The doctor said to me as I saw blood coming out.

"Nurse pass me the tissues." The doctor exclaimed as I felt tissues on my nuts.

"I need to go use the bathroom." I said to them.

"Okay, but you will have difficulty going because of the pain but Nurse bring the wheelchair." The doctor said to the nurse.

"Okay. Let's move him to the wheelchair." The nurse exclaimed as they moved me to the wheelchair. As we got to the wheelchair, I sat down in it but it was really difficult. So they had to lift my legs up and then we went to the bathroom. The nurses helped me to stand up as I went to use the bathroom.

I woke up after that strange dream. I noticed it was still nighttime.

"What a weird dream. I hope it never happens again." I whispered to myself as I went back to sleep.
