As Izuku's internship came to a close, he knew he'd miss being able to simply fly wherever he wanted to go. It was a liberating feeling, and now he was determined to get his provisional license so he could fly more often. He had learned a lot from Hawks, and had a lot more mobility with his wings, as well as control when attacking with his crystal feathers. Hawks had also helped him come up with a couple of other ways he could apply his powers.
Tokoyami also had learned a lot from what he could tell, and was starting to rely less on Dark Shadow for all of his combat, opting to work with his quirk to maximize his attack potential. His control on it during the night could still use some work, but his costume was helping him manage that.
"It's been great training you two. If either of you want to come back for internships again, the door's always open!" Hawks informed them as they left with their costumes. The two thanked him for his time before they left, already coming up with new ideas for what to do next.
As Momo prepared to leave her own internship, she was interrupted by a slight rustling of paper behind her. Without turning, a small automatic clamp extended out from her tank-top's exposed shoulder, catching the book that had been flung towards her, before curving up and around to allow her to pull the book from the clamp, after which it retracted back into her skin.
"You know if you keep throwing these books at me you're going to ruin them."
"You had that design prepared just for the next book I threw at you, didn't you?" Momo merely smiled at the man who had trained her for the last week, along with Iida, who seemed to have seemed to have gotten a few new ideas from his training with his brother. Momo felt a lot more confident about her ability to work through critical situations, but she knew there was more to learn that the former pro hero simply couldn't teach her. They'd have to wait for when she got back to the school.
The day after the class returned from their internships, there were many stories to tell, including Tsuyu, who told about how she had actually helped with capturing a villain during her own internship.
Hero classes that day involved racing through Ground Gamma, which was a factory style area with piping everywhere, towards a goal in the center of the area. Izuku must have had training just for this sort of thing, with the way he zipped through the gaps in the pipes like they weren't even there, even finding time to show off, just a little bit.
Momo herself moved faster than ever, using a combination of grappling hooks, as well as shooting out a few poles from the exposed sections of her costume to push off of certain areas, including some holes she regrettably had to bore through her shoes to allow her to launch off of poles she extended and retracted through them.
Her movement had significantly improved as well as her reaction time, but that wasn't all she felt she needed to learn. After classes, she headed to the section of the school with the teacher's offices, looking for one teacher in particular.
"Sir, I have a bit of a favor I'd like to ask, if you'd be willing to teach me how to fight more like you?"
The teacher looked up from his work and gave her a quick look before responding.
"Well sure thing! What'd ya like to learn about?"
