She was tossing and turning around in her bed, she couldn't breathe. The girl opened her eyes, staring up at the ceiling, a teardrop glided down her cheek. Why was she crying? Was it guilt, that was torturing her? Yes! It was."Did we really do the best thing? I want her to live, but...Hotaru you are overthinking it! This for the best...or...yes...Nooo...I...am so confused." She raised herself from the bed and looked outside the window. "I still wonder..how this new future looked like..No!I have no reason to think about any alternatives. There was only one future and now we made it happen." Hotaru was all alone in her room wondering about what she witnessed just a few hours ago, she looked out at the stars upon the sky and dark clouds were gathering over this small paradise, the wind started hauling. Ignoring the signs of Darkness coming, she once again rested her head in the silky pillows, took a big breath, and closed her purple eye, still trying to calm herself, but somehow Atsuki's voice was following her. Next to her room Haruka and Michiru were in bed already. Haruka was tranquil as ever, walking around with a satisfied smirk on her face, after taking a shower.

"Wow...this shower sure felt good. It washed away all this stress." She said while walking out in just one towel, teasing, but somehow Michiru wasn't up for it.

"That's nice," Michiru said while she was reading a book. A phrase caught her eyes which triggered something..

" I live for the day and night, for the future to be bright, I shine my light upon the dark sky. The Moon and Stars follow my steps...until...that day you came and took my life away...I started fading slowly, my light burned out. You took it! The question is why? You said I don't deserve it...You killed me...without regret...maybe not today, not tomorrow, but someday you will remember my eyes...looking at you...You will realize I wasn't angry, I may be understood, I even loved you...But you never gave the chance...My love you left…" she was so engrossed in reading that paragraph, that Haruka's voice just faded into nothing.

"Michiru? Are you even listening to me?"

"Ohhh yes...sorry.This book is interesting…"

"Can it be more interesting than me."

"Don't flatter yourself…." She closed the book and placed it on top of the drawer near her bed.

"You are absent-minded tonight. Relax…" she hopped on the bed next to her, hair was still wet and fizzy.

"I...feel..strange…"

"Why? Don't tell me you are still thinking about …"

"I am not..just…"

"No way...you have regrets?"

"What's done is done. If we focus on the next thing, what's getting us to where we want to go, then maybe I can live with the thought of our actions."

"Sure we can...come on now...what we wanted all along is soon about to happen." Said Haruka teasing the sunshine of the sea. "I can help you forget…" she leaned in for a kiss.

"Haru.." Her lips were locked by a passionate kiss but in vain. Guilt still remained.

While everyone was trying to to get along with their consciousness, darkness was planning in staying alive and

"What are you planning on achieving from the Outers?" Dementia was still going out of her mind.

"I will show them...somehow...I will get my hands on their Crystals and try and feed on them…"

"But you know that won't be enough for you to…"

"Do you think I am stupid? Without her Crystal I am dead...but maybe just maybe…Tell me what to do you see, my dear Oracle. I need to know…"

"It is...well how should I say it?"

"What do you mean? Just say it!!!" Dementia's eyes popped out from anger.

"I see nothing...I still can see nothing..Since she is gone..the future is uncertain…" the shaky voice of the Oracle went off as she spoke out the truth.

"How come? Sailor Moon chose the Prince…"

"She did, but her feelings have changed...Even if she marries him now, their child won't be the same."

"Hahaha...So what you're telling me that she will suffer, either way, am I right? Am I right it not?!"

"You are…" her voice choked as she realized, that the balance between good and evil will be soon disturbed. She sensed something in Dementia's eyes, dark evil at is the highest working, ready to strike, it wasn't going to be pretty at all. She found the weak spot of her enemy and now she was going to take advantage of it. She was born in light and fell into the hands of Darkness.

Back at the hotel, five girls were searching through the list of places that could be in their minds, checking off the ones they had already searched. They even split up. Rei and Ami-chan went to see if they would find them somewhere at the seaside. It was absurd, but the way the girls disappeared was something ..well they really couldn't describe the phenomena. Makoto ran downstairs and asked the receptionist if she saw anything, but she couldn't remember any girls.

"What do you mean, you don't remember them? They checked in with us!" Makoto was getting angry.

"Miss, if you say so...but there are reservations here only for you and your four friends."

"For God's sake...I can assure you that..' She looked at the girl behind the counter and saw it her eyes "This girl is crazy" so she gave up and decided to join the other four senshies.

"Thank you!" Makoto said goodbye and led, but not before she grabbed the key of the room where the girls were, or were they? Makoto started questioning her own sanity. "Are we dreaming or is it real? Auch!" The senshie of lightning pinched herself "Yep I am awake...This is strange. Let me take the key to Usagi-chan…" they had to figure out what was going on.

"Where is Mako-chan already?" Usagi was confused as it is about what happened earlier with Seiya leaving, now this.

"Relax, she will be here…'

"I hope so...This is too much to handle in one night." Usagi hushed away a teardrop that glided down her face.

"I understand perfectly, Usagi-chan." Minato turned her gaze to the sky and her voice trembled…

"This all my fault, isn't it?"Usagi touched her shoulder.

"Huh...No...no...just...me and Yaten got so close...This feeling was everything I ever dreamed about." Her confession was painful…"I wish I would have told her that, but I did not have the time to do so…"

"I am sorry…" Usagi was just as sad but seeing that her decision made her friend sad, made everything more painful.

"Don't be...You made the right decision...I admire you Usagi-chan...for your sacrifice…'

"There is nothing to admire about me ...I can't be proud of what I did because I have hurt several people…"

"I see, listen…" Minako couldn't finish because Makoto, Rei, and Ami-chan were coming.

"Rei-chan, Ami-chan...did you see them?" Usagi hoped in vain. Rei remained silent, nodded in disapproval. "I see maybe Mako-chan found something."

"We are about to find out soon…"Minako pointed as Makoto stepped out of the elevator with a satisfying smile on her face.

"Do you have the key?" She rushed to her.

"I do...But I have my doubts…" she said holding on to the key of the room.

"Why?" Usagi looked at her confused and nervous.

"The room was cleaned a few hours ago Usagi -chan...meaning that the chances of finding anything are minimal."

"I know...but maybe they've missed something."

"Maybe…'

"Give me that key!" Rei pulled it out of Makoto's hand and she put the key inside the keyhole, she waited a few seconds, took a big breath and turned it, unlocking the door. It opened. The room was empty, they could feel the fresh air, the smell of the cleansing products that were used to make this room look impeccable. They stepped inside.

"Maybe we should take off our shoes." Said Minako. "There is no point in messing it up, besides there is white carpet everywhere."

"Okay.." the girls nodded. First, they took a step inside, closing the door behind them.

" Where do we start looking?" said Ami."It might be in vain, the hotel staff is usually professional."

"I don't know...I…"Usagi hoped, but nothing. They gazed around the room where the three girls were supposed to be, their minds swirled in disbelief. Usagi wore a puzzled expression. It was now or never, they had to take a look at this place that was full of life just a few hours ago. She saw the smile on Atsuki's face as they were joking around about the party. Minako saw Ai, standing in the window and Ami saw Michiko reading her book on " How Stars were Born."

"Nothing makes sense."

"Usagi we are late...Whatever they left or didn't, it is gone. Let's be realistic here…" Rei tried to get her to reason.

"They had to leave something behind, anything…" Usagi started insanely opening out the drawers."Help me! Star searching…" she begged then for help. The girls were standing there looking at her, at each other, them back at Usagi.

"Come on…"Minako took a step and waved to the girls. They started searching the room from top till bottom, but there was nothing. Oh, but it was silence...Silence clung to them like a poisonous cloud. Usagi fell down on her knees on the white carpet.

"Can you feel it? This silence. It is haunting me...us...What have I done to deserve this?"

"Usagi, don't be silly…"

"It must have been something. Not only I broke her heart, but I ruined everyone's happiness. And now, the girls...Who were they? Were they even real? Why are we the only ones to remember them? So many questions...Not one answer...Isn't this sad."

"Usagi…" While she looked like someone who was just run over by a truck, her friends remained silent, there was nothing left to say that could help or comfort her. The Princess fell on the ground crying, it seemed there was no hope for, but just then as her teardrop hit the ground somewhere in the corner of the room, as the Moonlight signed thru the window, it's light hit the broken pink diamond, only a small part of the light reflected, but it was enough to be noticeable.

"Look…" Usagi practically crawled after it."This is hers?"

"What is that?"

"It is Atsuki's...she dropped it at the outhouse, she said it is a gift from her mother."

"Wow...so it is true. They were here. I thought we are like all having the same Dream." Said Minako.

"Ok, ok...they are real..but where are they? Who were they?"

"I have no idea...but we will find out." Usagi took the broken broche, she felt something connecting her to it, but she just couldn't put her finger on it.

"Usagi we should head to our room...tomorrow we can search and investigate further." Rei tried to convince her to get some sleep because she saw how exhausted she was.

"Oh..okay let's go…"
