24: Well, That's New

Lexi stumbled down the stairs from the dorm to the common room on New Year's Day. Remus was the only person up. He was reading a book in one of the armchairs by the fire.

"I'm surprised you're up," he said, not looking up. Lexi was used to him knowing who was walking in without looking by now. That werewolf nose.

"I don't want to be," she grumbled making her way to the couch and sprawling out. He finally looked at her and busted out laughing. Her hair was in a very messy bun, she was wearing yoga pants, a hoodie he knew was Sirius', and sunglasses. "Not so loud, Rem," she groaned pulling a pillow over her face.

"Sorry, Lex. I just don't think I've ever seen you this hungover."

"I don't think I ever have been. I woke up and ran to the bathroom to retch. Lily isn't much better." As if on cue Lily emerged from the stairs. She had haphazardly tied her hair back in a loose ponytail, she had on sweatpants and a sweater.

"Share," Lily grumbled to Lexi on the couch. Lexi lazily pulled her legs towards herself allowing Lily to sit.

"I told you to stop," Remus chuckled.

"Bite us," Lily rolled her eyes.

"If it means not facing this hangover I'll take it," Lexi said, holding her arm out.

"Very funny," he rolled his eyes. "So Lex, where did you and Sirius sneak off last night?" Remus was smirking.

"Fuuuucccckkk," she groaned. "We were not sneaky at all were we," she removed the pillow and turned her head towards him. She still had her sunglasses on so he couldn't see her eyes.

"Not one bit."

"I don't even remember you two leaving," Lily sighed.

"I barely remember us leaving," Lexi grumbled.

"Well, it took you two a while to leave," Remus smirked. "You were getting pretty heavy in the window seat for a while."

"Damnit," Lexi groaned covering her face with her hands.

"I'm sure Potter was thrilled," Lily smirked.

"Try the opposite," Remus grinned.

"You know it's their fault we're like this right," Lily lolled her head to look at Lexi.

"Yes, but they somehow are still enjoying sleep," Lexi glowered at the stairs to the boys dorm. An evil grin began to form on her lips.

"Pricks," Lily glared at the fire.

"C'mon, Lil," Lexi stood drawing her wand and heading for the stairs.

"What are you doing," Remus asked as Lily grinned and followed Lexi's lead.

"Getting the boys up. We're going to get them moving a little quicker," Lexi smirked.

"Maybe we'll help them skip a shower," Lily suggested as they headed up the stairs.

"That's what I was thinking." They reached their dorm room door and slipped in quietly. They didn't have the curtains around their beds closed. James was still in what he had on last night. Sirius still had on his jeans but had managed to peel off his shirt and kick off his shoes. Lily headed to James, Lexi to Sirius. They looked at each other as Lexi held up three fingers. She counted down silently and as her last finger went down jets of water shot out of their wands hitting the boys.

"AAGGGGHHHH," they both yelled and jumped awake trying to get away from the jets of cold water. The girls began laughing as James fell out of bed and Sirius ended up tangled in his blankets and they stopped.

"Good morning," Lexi smirked at Sirius, who glared up at her.

"Evans," James growled and grabbed his wand. Lily giggled and ran from the room.

"Why do you have to get us up so early," Sirius yawned.

"And so cruelly," James grumbled before drying his bed with his wand.

"It's your fault that we woke up retching, so only fair you need to be up too," Lexi shrugged, still smirking.

"We didn't make you drink as much as you did," James grumbled and headed off towards the bathrooms.

"Help me out a bit," Sirius said with a smile. She giggled and performed a drying spell on him and his bed. "Now," he smirked and pulled her into his bed, "good morning." He kissed her softly. "I'm taking these off you," he pulled her sunglasses off and set them on his bedside table. "I enjoy seeing those blue eyes too much."

"They're horribly bloodshot," she smiled.

"Only because you're human," he kissed her nose. "I'm stealing you away for the day."

"Why is that?"

"Because I want to, and I can. We haven't actually just spent time in the 'studio' lately. I actually have something I want to show you. Maybe have a replay of last night," he smirked before starting to kiss her neck."

"According to Remus we weren't as sneaky as we may have thought," she giggled.

"I'm sure Prongs will ask questions," he rolled his eyes with a smile.

"He's got to get over it. I'll go get ready," she started to climb out of his bed but he stopped her.

"Don't you look gorgeous. Just meet me down in the commons with your stuff."

"Alright," she flushed and headed out. He headed for the bathroom.

"Did you tell her you love her yet," James smirked as he stood in front of the sink and mirror in a towel. He had just stepped out of the shower.

"Actually I did," Sirius chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck.

"When?"

"The day I went to get her from the locker room."

"Makes sense, I mean, you two have been together since before her birthday," James nodded and began brushing his teeth as Sirius headed for the shower.

"About that, how are you handling all of this, honestly Prongs?"

"It's more normal now than it was. Still strange, but I shouldn't have even been slightly surprised," he chuckled. "Besides, you're both really happy, so how can I be mad?"

"Thanks, mate, it means a lot," Sirius said from inside the shower.

"But I wasn't joking, you hurt her you've got to deal with me."

"Trust me, I wouldn't expect anything else," Sirius laughed.

"Just do me a favor, Padfoot. Try to keep what happened last night to a minimum in front of me," James laughed.

"Right, sorry about that. We're normally-"

"Not that drunk."

"Exactly," Sirius laughed again.

"Alright, I'll see you down stairs," James chuckled and left.

"About time," Lexi smirked and rolled her eyes as Sirius entered the common room.

"At least come have breakfast with us," Lily sighed, grabbing Lexi's hand and pulling.

"Of course, do you really think I'm skipping food feeling like this," Lexi laughed and the group headed out.

"When are you going to be done," James asked as Sirius and Lexi stood to leave breakfast.

"Get off it, Jamie," Lexi rolled her eyes. "I can spend a day with my boyfriend. We've given you all of break to adjust, now we're going to be a couple." She and Sirius left the Great Hall as they both pulled their guitars on their backs.

"You know, he's just protective, even with it being me," Sirius chuckled, taking her hand.

"Like I said, he's got to get over it," Lexi smirked. "I don't plan on letting you go now that I have you, Black." He stopped her and pulled her into a kiss.

"Don't steal my lines, Red," he grinned when they broke. She laughed as they continued their walk to the seventh floor corridor.

"So I've been thinking," Lexi said with a sly grin.

"I'm not sure if I like that look," Sirius chuckled. "What's on your mind, Love?"

"I think we should do some recordings together."

"We have," he smirked as they stopped and he paced quietly. When they entered the studio Lexi spoke again.

"I mean record something for Brunner," she sighed looking at him earnestly.

"I don't know, Lex," he chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. "You're the star."

"I'm not going to drop it," she rolled her eyes.

"I don't expect you to. I know you too well," she kissed her nose before leaning his guitar against the wall and grabbing one of the 'electric' guitars off a stand.

"You're madly talented, Sirius. I mean come on, you don't give yourself enough credit. I'm not even brave enough to mess with one of those yet," she shook her head with a smile as she pulled out her guitar. "Not to mention you help me all the time."

"Which is what I'm fine doing," he grinned before leaning over to kiss her gently.

"Alright, what did you want to show me," she smiled.

"I've been working on something, in my free time while you've been off with Lily," he grinned and messed with the board, sliding in a disk from his bag, and scooted the mic closer. The fast paced, rock sounding track started. His recorded vocals came over the speakers saying "I just wanna say something to you, alright? Hear me out now. Hear me out." Her jaw dropped as he started.

"It was quarter past two when I started feeling blue-I never tell the truth, I was thinking about you-You left a little scar and I wonder where you are-I'm coming to my car and I'm headed to the bar. I listen to lonely boy in a lonely world. And yes I know it's true. I close my eyes and I find you.-And the dirty little things we'd do." The music picked up quickly as he smirked and kept going, beginning to play the guitar. "In the middle of the night, when I dream of getting you. Grab my hairs going crazy thinking what I'd do to you. I'd rip off all your clothes as I'm breaking down the door-I'd make you beg for more as I pin you to the floor. 'Cause you'd be screaming oh, oh, oh. Baby don't stop, no no, no no. We can fire up the night... Make me feel alive...Fire up the night. I fire up the night." She couldn't wipe the smile from her face as she watched him play and jam along with the music smirking at her. "And then I put you on the bed and you ruffle through my head-Never thought a girl I'd see but you're making me believe. Lick my poison young, now I got you on my song-You whisper I'm the best while you finger on my chest. I never be a lonely boy in a lonely world-And yes I know it's true. I close my eyes and I'm with you. I'm yelling you the whole night through. In the middle of the night, when I dream of getting you-Grab my hairs going crazy thinking what I'd do to you. I'd rip off all your clothes as I'm breaking down the door. I'd make you beg for more as I pin you to the floor. 'Cause you'd be screaming oh, oh, oh. Baby don't stop, no no, no no-We can fire up the night...Make me feel alive...Fire up the night. Get up, fire up the night, yeah. Come on, fire up the night." A chuckled voice of him came over saying ,"Hey, let's take our clothes off." He winked at her as it slowed down for a moment. "Now I'm going down on you, proving what I want is true-Let me show you what it's like when you ain't afraid to fly-To hell with all them girls, 'cause you know upon my world-I couldn't tell you why, but I'm yours until I die." She was dancing in her seat as the music picked up again . "In the middle of the night, when I dream of getting you-Grab my hairs going crazy thinking what I'd do to you. I'd rip off all your clothes as I'm breaking down the door-I'd make you beg for more as I pin you to the floor. 'Cause you'd be screaming oh, oh, oh. Baby don't stop, no no, no no. We can fire up the night...Make me feel alive...Fire up the night. Fire up the night. Fire up the night." The music stopped abruptly with him.

"See, talented," she beamed at him. He let out a barking laugh. "And insanely attractive," she purred, walking over to hug him as he set the guitar back on it's stand.

"Well, it is all about you," he gave her his wolfish grin before kissing her.

"That sound is perfect for your voice," she said when they broke, he laughed.

"C'mon, Red, we're here for you. I've seen you writing in that journal. What do you have?"

"Well, the most recently finished one is just from Lily and I goofing around about a month ago," She smirked when she saw the flicker of amusement in Sirius' eyes.

"You two together always produces interesting stuff," Sirius chuckled letting go of her and sitting back down.

"You mean girly," Lexi laughed and pulled out his disk before sliding her own into the board.

"Maybe," he grinned. She rolled her eyes, pulled the mic closer, pulled on headphones and stood next to the mic. She hit play and the track started. It was hollow with some beat and a distorted voice. The music kicked in as she began.

"He got mad, so I got drinks. No, I'm not walking around in circles worried about what he thinks-Out with my friend, drinking a drink. Alexa knows the bartender so all the drinks are free. He got mad, so I got drinks." He smirked as he watched her. "Yeah, some shit went down, so now I'm up for anything-Out with my friend, drinking a drink. I don't know what the problem is, I don't think it's me." He shook his head as she started singing, swaying her hips as she did. "First things first, yeah I know it's a bummer-That's right, it started with one that turned into another-You know I won't fake it or keep it undercover-And with it all out in the open, I can be me again. Taking the band-aid and ripping it off. Wish that I could but I can't care at all. House made of cards and it's starting to fall-Does it feel like I'm sprinkling salt?" She winked as she went back into the chorus. "He got mad, so I got drinks. No, I'm not walking around in circles worried about what he thinks-Out with my friend, drinking a drink. Alexa knows the bartender so all the drinks are free. He got mad, so I got drinks. Yeah, some shit went down, so now I'm up for anything-Out with my friend, drinking a drink. I don't know what the problem is, I don't think it's me. Feeling like it's automatic-Everything is so dramatic-Silver screens and movie scenes-Don't make it so cinematic-Nothings ever picture perfect-Happy endings can be tragic-As soon as it's over I can be me again." Sirius was tapping his foot to the beat of the song. "Taking the band-aid and ripping it off. Wish that I could but I can't care at all. House made of cards and it's starting to fall-Does it feel like I'm sprinkling salt? He got mad, so I got drinks. I don't know what the problem is, I don't think it's me." The song ended abruptly with her. Sirius was still smirking.

"So," she asked, setting the headphones down.

"If something happens between us we are fixing it before you and Lily go for drinks," He gave her his wolfish grin. She could see the look in his eyes.

"Is that jealousy, Black," she grinned.

"You know me well enough, Red," he chuckled. She leaned over and kissed him before she started to flip through her journal quietly.

She looked back up at him. "What," she asked, he was watching her with his brow furrowed.

"I need to talk to you about something," he sighed.

"Is everything alright," she asked, setting down the journal.

"Yeah, well, sort of. It's just," he rubbed the back of his neck nervously, "it's about what happened this last summer."

"What about it," her brow was beginning to furrow. "Is this about us?"

"No, Love! Merlin, no," he reached out and took her hand and kissed her knuckles. "Look, I wasn't completely honest about why things happened the way they did at home."

"Oh," she raised an eyebrow.

"All summer they had been on some pro-Voldemort shite. I had been pretty vocal against it." Lexi's eyes went wide in shock. "Then they kept going on about how honorable it would be to join them. They were trying to convince me. They had already convinced Regulus to do it."

"What," she hissed.

"From how it sounded he was set up to joining once he turned sixteen. So this summer," he sighed. "I told them no and tried talking him out of it. They didn't like it and well, the rest of it was true. They attacked me, torchered me, told me if I lived not to come back."

"Sirius," she said softly before standing up and stepping close to him. He held her body close to him and rested his head on her chest. "Do you think he could have something to do with the attack?"

"I'm not sure," he said.

"I'm happy you told me."

"I'm sorry I didn't sooner."

"It's a rough subject. I know you don't like to talk about your family."

"I love you."

I love you," she pulled back and smiled down on him before kissing him softly. "So," she smirked, "what else do you have in that journal, Black," she smirked, pointing to his journal on his guitar case.

"Oh no, Red, today is for me to help you," he chuckled, grabbing her journal and flipping through the pages. "I haven't heard this one yet," he handed it back to her and she grinned.

"I'm still working on it. I got a little stuck."

"Then we'll work on that one."

"Everything is set," James grinned looking around the room set up for a party once dinner was over.

"I'm not drinking," Lily shook her head from her spot on the couch next to Lexi.

"C'mon Evans it's been two days," Sirius chuckled.

"I might be with her on that one, the idea of it makes me cringe," Lexi groaned, falling against Lily.

"You two broke, Lexi," Remus laughed.

"We'll see what happens when I hand you a glass tonight," James smirked. Lexi sat forward quickly acting like she was gonna puke.

"Stop being so dramatic, Red," Sirius laughed.

"Alright, let's go meet Peter," Lily giggled checking her watch. The five students left the common room and made their way down the Grand Staircase.

"Wait," James stopped the group before they hit the steps leading to the Entrance Hall where they could hear the noise of other students arriving. "Who wants to take a bet of how many stares Padfoot and Lexi get," he smirked.

"Shove off, Potter," Lexi laughed, rolling her eyes and pushing past him. The rest of the group laughed and continued as well. Sirius draped his arm over Lexi's shoulder and she wrapped one of her arms around his waist. They began down the stairs into the Entrance Hall and instantly students were stopping, staring, and whispering.

"I would have won," James smirked as they gathered watching for Peter.

"That's why no one took it, Prongs," Sirius chuckled.

"Wormtail," Remus grinned over at the doors. Peter was walking through and left his trunk against the wall. The group headed over to him. James, Remus, and Sirius bumped fists with him before Lily and Lexi hugged him making him blush.

"How was your break, Pete," Lexi asked as they headed for the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall.

"Pretty boring," Peter shrugged. "What happened while I was gone," his tone and look changed to excitement.

"Well…" James started keeping his voice low to fill him in on everything that had happened. Sirius would jump in from time to time adding to what James was saying. Anytime it got to something about Lexi's powers through he would just say, "I'll tell you about that later."

"I knew I was going to miss a lot," Peter pouted.

"Trust me, Pete, they are overexaggerating," Lily grinned rolling her eyes.

"They always do," Lexi chuckled.

"You should know by now," Remus grinned at the mock hurt on James and Sirius' faces. The feast continued on and Dumbledore finally dismissed the students back to their Commons. As they exited the Great Hall with the other students Lexi got a few dirty looks from other female students.

"Merlin, this is going to be a long term," she grumbled to Sirius as the others walked ahead of them.

"We knew it would happen," Sirius smiled down at her.

"Yeah, but this is ridiculous." She saw a sandy haired boy staring at them with an angry look on his face. "Can we help you, Filroy," she called to him in the Entrance Hall. The boy glared and turned quickly leaving with his friends. The other Marauders and Lily stopped looking back slightly shocked.

"I'm going to punch him in the jaw if he says anything," Sirius grumbled.

"Just leave it, love," Lexi grinned as she pulled him along.

"So, party," James chuckled as they began to walk.

"Still not drinking," Lexi smirked, making the others laugh.

"Melin, I swear this is even getting annoying for us," Lily rolled her eyes a few days later as she, Lexi, and Remus headed to their next class.

"I mean, some of those stares are at you too," Lexi smirked.

"Why would they be?"

"Oh, c'mon, you and James, as chummy as you are," Lexi laughed, making Remus grin and he coughed to cover his laugh.

"That's been happening for months now," Lily brushed off but she began to blush.

"Yes, but Sirius and I are together, everyone has kind of put it together that it's been all year," Lexi shrugged.

"They are going to start thinking you and Prongs are doing the same," Remus chuckled.

"Well, they're wrong."

"Who's wrong about what," James' voice came from behind them.

"Perfect timing boys," Lexi smirked, looking over her shoulder as Sirius wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her in for a brief kiss.

"That's just going to make them stare more," Lily grinned as a group of Third years walked by openly gawking, one of them tripped on a bench.

"They've got to get over it eventually," Lexi rolled her eyes.

"So again, who is wrong about what," James smirked as the five walked to class.

"She's saying the rumors flying around about you and her are just that, rumors," Lexi smirked. James turned a light pink.

"Are they though," Sirius grinned wolfishly.

"Get off it," James and Lily muttered in unison making the other three laugh.

"Give them a break," Remus chuckled at Lexi and Sirius.

"Nope, you lot did it to us," Lexi grinned with that mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Now it's our turn to do it to you," Sirius added and the couple high-fived.

"I'm starting to worry that you two together are dangerous," James said cautiously.

"Oh, we're just getting started," Lexi winked. Suddenly her sight went black and she stopped, her smile gone.

"Lex, are you alright," Sirius' voice started echoing and was beginning to sound far away. She felt herself spinning in the dark yet she could tell her body wasn't moving.

"Lex, what's wrong," James' voice sounded even more faint and distant than Sirius'. "Answer me!" His last words faded into nothing as she hazily gained sight back. She had to blink to adjust her eyes to the bright snowy street she was now standing in. The noise of people bustling up and down the street slowly faded to focus. It sounded like an old radio that's speaker needed replaced. She shivered as the snow whipped around her in the wind. She looked down and could see she was still in her uniform, she was still technically in the corridor, but what was happening? Everything went black again but she could still feel the cold air. The noises she heard changed to explosions and screams before the image reappeared in front of her.

There were houses on fire, people in dark cloaks moving up and down the street shooting spells at houses. The sounds stopped and popped in and out. The scene kept shaking and blacking out every several seconds. Lexi tried focusing, she tried controlling it, but she couldn't. Something was fighting her. Something was trying to keep her from seeing everything. The scene popped back into view and she gasped.

Everything was crystal clear suddenly, and it was terrifying. The snow that was left was dirty. The sun set was now blocked by the left over smoke and ash. She walked down the street looking at the damage. Homes were destroyed. There were a few bodies among the wreckage. She suddenly noticed as she got closer to the end of the street that the snow was turning red. She treaded carefully moving closer. When she turned the corner she screamed. She couldn't stop screaming. There were bloody bodies piled in the snow. Not only adults but children too. The scene went black again. She felt the sipping sensation again and her sight slowly and fuzzily came back. She was staring at the ceiling of the corridor she had been in at school. She felt herself still shivering even though she was back in the warm castle.

"Lexi," Sirius gasped as she blinked a few times and began to sit up.

"What just happened," James asked shakily. There were students surrounding them. She began to blush and get up with the help of James and Sirius.

"Get to class," they heard McGonagall's voice coming down the Hall. The students began to clear out slowly as she, Dumbledore, and Lily rushed up to the scene. Remus began helping herd away students not going far and trying to hear what the teachers were saying.

"Alexandra are you alright," Dumbledore asked her.

"I-I-," she glanced around, the last of the students were leaving the corridor. "I just had a vision."

"What," the others asked skeptically.

"Interesting," Dumbledore said quietly. James looked at the Headmaster incredulously.

"Interesting is all you have to say," James snapped. "She's bloody suppressing her powers and suddenly she is having vision while she's awake, which is something completely new!"

"Jamie-"

"No, Lex, this is crazy!"

"Jamie, this is all new. All of it," she sighed, shaking her head and regretting it. She felt like she was spinning again but tried to act like it hadn't happened. From the look Sirius was giving her he had noticed.

"Miss Garrett, maybe we should continue in my office," Dumbledore raised an eyebrow at her.

"I suggest the rest of you get to class," McGonagall eyes the others.

"No way, I'm going-/We're not leaving-"James and Sirius both started protesting.

"I'm sure Garrett will fill you in later," she said sternly, cutting them off. "Don't make me dock points."

"C'mon," Lily said as she and Remus pulled off James and Sirius.

"Thank you, Alexandra, I think you understand the importance of timing with these visions," Dumbledore said as they returned to his office after yet another trip into the vision a few hours later.

"Yes, sir," she muttered. She couldn't shake the image of the bodies at the end.

"We will need to meet this week to discuss this vision more, but for now I must make sure we are prepared."

"Thank you," she muttered before leaving. By now she knew when she was dismissed. She headed out of the office and down the spiral stairs. She glanced at her watch. If she hurried she could make the end of lunch.

They had gone through her vision roughly twenty times in the three hours she had been there. She felt exhausted and numb, the only real thought in her head was that she hoped they were right. They had briefly discussed the theory that someone or something was trying to keep her from seeing what she had. That was clear with how broken the vision was, however, their focus had been on when the attack would happen.

She reached the Great Hall and spotted her friends. She walked quickly keeping her eyes ahead of her. She could hear the whispers and feel the stares. She still wasn't exactly sure what had happened in the corridor.

"Lexi, are you alright," Sirius asked as she sat next to him.

"Fine," she said in a small voice as he hugged her and kissed the top of her head.

"How did you have a-" he paused glancing around the table, whispering, "a you know what? You've never had one while you were awake."

"I don't know, James," she sighed and began to grab food.

"I'm sure McGonagall would understand if you missed class," Lily offered softly.

"We can get your homework," Remus agreed. "She can probably excuse you-"

"Can we not, please," Lexi snapped, finally looking up from her plate. They were looking at her shocked. "I've been dealing with shit for three years now, can we not act like I'm broken everytime something new happens?"

"Lex, we're just-" James tried.

"Worried, yeah, I've got it," she scoffed and stormed out of the Great Hall.

"One of us should have gone with her," Sirius grumbled before heading off after her.

Lexi was headed towards the kitchens, she was still hungry. Maybe she would skip class. Lily was right, McGonagall would get it. Why didn't they get that she hated when they treated her like she was so fragile? She had seen more than any of them. She had seen death. Many times. She angrily adjusted her bag on her shoulder as she stepped off the stairs and turned a corner.

"Red," Sirius was smirking leaning against the wall. She jumped and let out a squeal.

"Damnit, Black," she cursed, a small smile twitching the corners of her mouth. "How'd you beat me down here?"

"Shortcuts," he chuckled, taking her hand and walking with her. "I figured you would head this way."

"Why is that?"

"You're always hungry after you've been going through a vision," he sighed looking at her knowingly.

"Right," she sighed.

"You always get that same look after too. Like you're not fully here, part of you is still stuck there," he stopped her and placed his hand on her cheek and looked in her eyes. She pushed up on her toes and kissed him deeply.

"Let me eat, then I'll tell you," she said once they broke. He nodded and they headed to the painting of fruit. Sirius reached out and tickled the pear which turned into a door knob. Once they entered they were ushered to a small table by the fire. Soon Lexi had a plate of food in front of her and she ate quietly. Sirius looked around the room and would glance at her frequently. When she finally sat back from the empty plate he spoke.

"You spent all three hours going through it?"

"Yeah, it was hard, Sirius," she sounded tired. "This attack…," she took a deep breath before walking him through what she saw. She knew he was trying to hide the horror on his face when she got to the end but she could still see it in his eyes. "I just hope we can stop it," she shook her head and they were quiet for a moment. "What happened in the corridor?"

"You just froze," he sighed rubbing his neck. "For a while, you didn't even blink. Then you shivered and started getting pale. Your skin was cold to the touch. You started screaming and falling. I caught you and laid you down so you wouldn't hurt yourself. Lily ran for help and you started to twitch. Then you came back." Lexi listened as he took her hand on the table. She was quiet when he finished.

"We didn't talk about why it might have happened," Lexi said. "We're supposed to meet this week for a lesson anyway."

"Make sure to," Sirius nodded and checked his watch. "If we go now we'd only be a few minutes late to class."

"I don't think I can," she shook her head. "You need to go, though."

"I'll take the detention," Sirius smirked as he stood and pulled the Marauders Map out of his pocket. "Think we can make it to the Seventh Floor without being caught?"

"I hope so," she smirked standing and stepping close to him. "I'd really like to be distracted right now," she looked at him from under her eyelashes and bit her lip. He grabbed her waist and the back of her head and kissed her roughly.

"Let's get going then," he smirked once they broke. He grabbed her hand and pulled her from the room.

A week later Lexi and Sirius were leaving their last detention they had gotten for skipping class.

"Merlin, Filch is brutal," Sirius groaned stretching his back. They had just spent five hours cleaning the trophy room, again.

"His only joy is punishing students," Lexi shook her head.

"We could take a little extra time getting back," Sirius smirked before moving quickly and pinning her against the wall. He instantly began kissing and biting her neck.

"We just did a week of detention, Sirius," she said breathlessly, her resolve was weak.

"Do you really want me to stop, Love," he chuckled huskily, his breath dancing across her skin.

"No, but we have people waiting for us," she muttered as his hand drifted up her skirt and his lips kissed below her collar. He was sucking and biting on one spot excessively and her eyes fluttered closed as she let out a moan. She tangled her fingers in his hair and pulled his lips to hers. His hand ran down her leg and hooked her knee pulling it up to his waist gripping her thigh tightly. She got the hint and worked with him to wrap both legs around his waist as he lifted her against the wall.

"Sirius," she moaned as he moved back to the spot on her neck. Suddenly they heard a door open down the corridor.

"I heard something too, my sweet," they heard Filch's voice and a meow.

"Shit," they whispered in unison. Sirius put her down and they took off. They didn't stop running until they reached the common room.

"Bloody hell," Lexi laughed as they stood at the portrait hole catching their breath.

"What are you two in a hurry over," they heard Lily's voice. They turned to see their friends staring at them. The common room was empty other than them. Lily looked like she was trying not to laugh. Peter and Remus were trying not to look at the pair looking extremely embarrassed. James was looking at them angrily, his face getting redder.

"Uh, nothing," Sirius tried to hide his grin and cleared his throat.

"Lex, you may want to fix your shirt and skirt...and your hair," Lily giggled. Sirius finally looked over at her as Lexi looked down. Her bra was peeking out of her lowly unbuttoned shirt. Her skirt was twisted and definitely shifted shorter than she wore it. She blushed and began fixing herself. Sirius flushed but smirked only wincing when he saw James' glare fixed on him.

"You were in detention," he scoffed.

"To be fair, it happened after detention," Lexi smirked and glanced over at Sirius. His hair was messed up and his shirt was unbuttoned some showing off his muscular chest, his belt still undone. This time she blushed.

"It's not like we shagged," Sirius chuckled redoing his belt and buttons.

"Filch stopped that," Lexi grinned.

"C'mon," James groaned as Lily laughed.

"Anyway, we were waiting for you because of this," Lily smiled handing Lexi the Evening Prophet. Lexi skimmed the article with Sirius looking over her shoulder. It was a report on an attack that happened. She looked at the picture. It was the village from her most recent vision. She had told the others about it after dinner the night it happened.

"No one died, they said the ministry had a tip and were able to have enough Aurors there to protect the town," Lexi's smile got bigger as she read.

"You're a hero, Lexi," Peter squeaked.

"You saved all those people, Red," Sirius smiled at her rubbing her shoulders. Her shirt shifted and James yelled.

"What the bloody hell is that," James jumped up from his seat pointing at Lexi's neck.

"What, James," Lexi rolled her eyes. Lily's eyes went wide when she saw it too.

"Fuck," Sirius said seeing whatever it was. He slowly began backing away from Lexi, putting more distance between him and James.

"Here," Lily handed Lexi a small mirror from her bag. Lexi used it to look at her neck. Sure enough a large hickey was starting to form on the spot Sirius was focused on.

"Black, are you joking," Lexi gasped and shot her boyfriend a look.

"I didn't mean to, Love, honest," he gave her a charming smile with a wink. She broke and smiled back.

"I'm going to bloody kill you," James growled.

"Shut up, Jamie," Lexi rolled her eyes. "I've never said anything about the number of times I've seen you give girls hickeys. Or have them yourself."

"So what did Dumbledore say," James asked as she joined him, Peter, and Sirius at the window table. The common room had a few other students in it. Lily and Remus were on Patrol.

"Well, my powers are fine," she sighed, keeping her voice low and not looking at either of them, she knew Sirius would know she's lying. "As far as the vision, Voldemort was there. The Prophet didn't report on it but he was. Dumbledore thinks he's trying to block me from seeing anything. Some kind of dark magic. Other than that not much." She pulled out her homework and began working.

"That's all, Red," Sirius sounded skeptical. She looked at him, his silver eyes were stern.

"Yes," she insisted. He nodded silently.

"But he was there, at an attack," James was bewildered.

"Has he been at others," Peter asked nervously.

"Well I've seen him twice myself now, but who knows, that's probably why it was supposed to be so horrible," Lexi shuddered.

"Fair point," James sighed. "I guess he didn't want you to see him there."

"Probably not. His strength is people not knowing," Sirius sighed leaning back.

"Well, I need to work out practice for tomorrow," James said standing and stretching. "Good night."

"I've got to see Professor Sprout before class," Peter mumbled and left as well.

"Night," they responded as he walked off.

"Spill, Red," Sirius said, crossing his arms. She kept working on her essay. "Lexi. I know you were lying to James." She sighed and sat back looking at him and chewing on her lip nervously.

"My powers were really shaky. I mean really shaky," she whispered.

"What happened," he leaned forward and placed his hand on her knee.

"I could barely move a quill at one point but then the next it embedded itself into the bloody stone wall," she rubbed her temples. "By the end I was steady but it took two hours to get there."

"Are you sure you should keep doing this?"

"I'm scared not to," she locked eyes with him.

"Alright, but-"

"I know, love," she leaned forward and kissed him.

"Next full moon is in a week," Lexi said, looking at the lunar chart.

"I think we'll be ready, I tested it on a mouse the other night," Lily nodded. The girls were sitting in their dorm. They had known when it would be empty.

"I think I saw movement around the Weeping Willow," Lexi said nervously. "The last time I stayed up watching for them. "I thought I saw something going on over there."

"Well we will see," Lily smirked.

"You know for a rule preaching prefect you sure are excited to break the rules," Lexi chuckled.

"I'm just curious," Lily flushed, making Lexi let out a loud laugh.

"Well, I have one other way to find out. I've been trying to hold off on using it but I think now is better than never," Lexi was smirking.

"Oh, reall, and what is that," Lily rolled her eyes.

"I've asked Sirius about it, now I'm going to make him tell me."

"I'm not sure I want to know seeing that look," Lily laughed as Lexi headed for her mirror.

"I think you know," Lexi winked, pulling out her bun and fixing her wavy hair. She flipped it to part on the side and added lipgloss. "Don't wait up," Lexi said before grabbing her journal and slipping out of the dorm to the commons. She spotted the boys sitting at the groups usual table and strutted over swinging her hips more. Sirius' eyes locked on hers. She smirked as he looked her up and down, his tongue quickly licking his lips. James hadn't noticed his gaze.

"Boys," she greeted walking up to them and leaning against Sirius in his chair. His hand snaked its way around her waist purposely rubbing against her bum.

"Lex, want a game," James grinned pointing to the chess board he and Peter were resetting.

"I'm good," she said dryly. "Sirius, I still need help with that song. I think I've got something but-"

"Yeah, let's go," he smirked at her and stood quickly.

"Oi," James called after them as they left quickly.

"Where were they running off too," Lily asked, taking Sirius' now vacant seat.

"They said music," Remus grinned at her.

"Do they really think I'm that dense," James muttered.

"I mean it's better than them just announcing they are going to shag," Peter shrugged then squeaked when James threw a ball of paper at him.

"He's right, James, they could be much more cras," Lily grinned.

"Oh man, I bet they ran into Jefferson," Remus chuckled looking at the portrait hole.

"Why," James looked as well. Jefferson was walking in looking extremely angry. "Tosser."

"Right," Lily sighed. "So, Potter, you keep avoiding it but we'll talk about it eventually." The three boys looked at her in shock and she looked at them confused. "James can sing."

"Oh," James said, suddenly clearing his throat. "That."

"Yeah, that," Lily rolled her eyes. "What else?" James blushed.

"It's nothing, I just grew up with an insanely talented best friend. I can't play much more than percussion like you've seen, but I can sing, just don't do it much. Normally it's for Lexi," he chuckled turning his focus back on the game he and Peter had started. Lily just looked at him with an amused grin.

As they were leaving through the Portrait hole they stopped quickly almost running into someone. Blake Jefferson, the seventh year, was standing in front of them.

"How's it going Jerfferson," Sirius smirked cockily, pulling Lexi close. She laughed and started pulling Sirius away.

"C'mon, Sirius, it isn't worth it, besides, I have other plans," she smirked at Sirius completely ignoring the other boy.

"Right, because I've been shagging you since June," Sirius smirked pointedly at Jefferson, who looked completely shocked, before he let Lexi pull him off.

"You're hot when you're cocky," Lexi smirked, stopping in the currently empty corridor and pushing Sirius against the wall, kissing him roughly. His hands went to her hips, one began to drift to the hem of her skirt. She grabbed both his wrists and forced them against the wall. He gasped into the kiss and she forced her tongue against his, making him moan. She sucked his bottom lip before breaking the kiss completely.

"You're bloody hot when you take control, Red," he said huskily, his eyes dark with lust.

"This is just the beginning," she purred and grabbed his shirt pulling him off the wall before letting go and walking away. He watched her slightly shocked and very turned on. "Coming Black," she looked over her shoulder at him, he groaned and followed eagerly.

"I feel like I might regret this," he grinned at her as they walked.

"I don't think you will," she purred.

They finally reached the room of requirement. Once they were in Sirius stood behind her and wrapped his arms around her kissing her neck. She let her head fall back against his chest and slowly began undoing the buttons on her shirt. She undid her tie and left it hanging around her shoulders. She twisted to face Sirius and backed him up to the wall. He let out a small grunt when he hit it.

"No more touching," she smirked.

"I don't know about that, love," his voice was deep and it sent a shiver down her spine.

"You did so well on the train, I figured you could one more time," she smirked. "Just try, for me," she purred and slowly began undoing the buttons on his shirt. She kissed and bit the skin along his collarbone making him moan.

"Whatever you say, pet," she glanced up at him, his eyes were closed. She smirked and pulled him off the wall again backing him into a chair.

"Hands behind the chair." He smirked and let out a slight chuckled but did as told. She moved behind him and wrapped her tie around his wrists before pulling her wand out and tapping it. It tied itself tight enough for him not to be able to get out.

"That's cheating," he chuckled.

"You just want to be able to get out," she purred into his ear before moving back in front of him. He stared at her biting his lip. Her hair looked like they had already fucked. Her shirt was hanging open revealing her breasts in a black lacy bra. Her uniform skirt shifted slightly but resting low on her hips and only down to her mid-thigh. She had on chunky heeled ankle boots making her slightly taller than usual. Her eyes looked full of lust and her lips were swollen slightly from their rough kisses.

"Do you blame me," he tried to charm her. She let her shirt fall to the floor before reaching around and unzipping her skirt letting it pool at her feet. She was wearing black lacy panties as well. The flames of the fireplace danced on her skin. "You are fucking gorgeous." She smirked and moved closer to him placing her hands on his thighs holding her lips inches away from his.

"I want to play a game," she purred looking at him through her eyelashes.

"What game, love?"

"This is part of it," she ran one of her hands up to rub his hard member. He moaned. She slowly undid his pants and he lifted his hips for her to pull them off. She knelt in front of him as she slowly stroked him. She ran her tongue up him and he moaned louder.

"Lex, please," he gasped out.

"Already, love," she smirked up at him.

"I want your whole mouth on me," his eyes looked almost black.

"Soon," she smiled like a cheshire cat and stood. She circled behind him dragging her nails across his chest and began kissing his neck. Then she whispered in his ear, "where does the Willow passage lead to, love." His eyes opened quickly and he looked at her. She had a mischievous look on her face.

"Lexi, I-" he swallowed hard, "I told you, w-we haven't been able to get past it," he sounded and looked nervous now. Lexi grinned.

"That doesn't seem like the truth," she said innocently. She swung a leg over him straddling him. His hard dick standing up between them. She used one arm to hold on to his shoulders the other she reached down and began stroking him again.

"Fuck, Lex," he moaned as she dropped her head back closing her eyes like she did when she would ride him.

"I'm getting so wet," she whined and switched to straddling one of his legs so he could feel her wetness. He moaned again. She suddenly stopped again standing up.

"Damn it, Red," he growled glaring at her. She could see his arms straining against the tie and she bit her lip watching his muscles twitch. That growl had sent a new wave of want over her. "I want you, now."

"Tell me and you can have your way with me," she smirked, kneeling in front of him placing her hands on his knees.

"There is a reason, Lex," he was starting to look torn. She moved closer and licked from the base of his dick to the head before slowly sucking on the tip and stopping again staying close enough her breath tickled him. "Shit, Lex."

"Tell me," she whispered before sucking on the head again. He tried bucking his hips up but she pulled off quickly with a smirk.

"If I tell you," his eyes narrowed. He knew this could backfire but damn did he want her. "You cannot let the other Marauders know you know. And you better tell Lily the same damn thing. I'll punish you worse than this Red," his voice was gravelly, bordering that growl. "Understood?" Lexi nodded, straddling his legs again holding her wand this time. "The Shrieking Shack." Her eyes went wide for a moment. "Now if you would please, pet," he growled. She pointed her wand at the tie and it instantly dropped to the floor. His arms were around her legs quickly as he stood and took her to the bed in the room. He threw her down before ripping off the remaining bits of fabric she had on.

"Well," Lily asked as Tamara and the other girls left the dorm leaving them alone the next morning.

"The Shrieking Shack," Lexi smirked.

"What," Lily gasped.

"Yeah, but look, they can't find out we know," Lexi said quickly.

"Why not? Wasn't that the point," Lily asked skeptically.

"Well, I had to sort of make a deal with Sirius," Lexi smirked again. "I don't really know if I could handle it after last night."

"I don't want to know," Lily blushed and headed for the door.

"Wait, Lil, seriously," Lexi raised her eyebrows at her best friend.

"Fine, I won't say a word," Lily held up her pinky, Lexi twisted hers around it and they left the dorm.

"Morning, Ladies," Sirius and Remus grinned as they stepped off the steps. James looked like he was half asleep in the chair next to them.

"Morning," Lexi kissed Sirius quickly. "What's his deal?"

"He insisted on waiting up," Sirius chuckled, winking at Lexi.

"Oh, Jamie, when will you learn," Lexi laughed as the group headed out James dragging at the back with Lily walking slowly with him.

"When will you two let up," James groaned.

"We have a fun sex life so I doubt ever," Lexi rolled her eyes making Sirius beam.

"I don't want to know that," James whined.

"Pep up, Jamie, we've got practice in a few days," Lexi smiled before chipperly pulling off Lily quicker than the others.

"Alright, I'm done," James groaned. "You two win," he looked over at Sirius who laughed.

"I told you you'd come around eventually, Prongs."

"If you'd ask Lily you'd have a distraction," Remus smirked.

"You keep saying you will," Peter cackled.
