Oh... Hello there... So, I have been dreading to do this for ages, but seeing as it has been almost two years without a chapter release, this is the proper option I have to do. When I first created this story, and the OCs for my RWBY OC Team (Team DRGN), I felt so damn excited to create my own story five years ago. It was around the end of Volume 3 that I absolutely fell in love with the show, and became a permanent fan of RWBY. Like I used to read so many OC stories, especially one story made by my favourite RPing buddy, Blazing-Saint, about his RWBY OC Team (Team DMON), which I highly recommend btw.

Anyways, after reading a good amount of RWBY OC stories, I decided I wanted to join the community as well, and make my own story. However, since it was my very first story ever created, so I wanted to keep it simple and write it only within Volumes 1 and 2. Look, I don't know if it was obvious, but I am not a story writer. I did this just for fun, and I honestly didn't expect this story to gain this many followers as it already did. But as time went on, it would become clear that this story didn't age too well as I had hoped. I mean, I'm thankful for the reviews that offered good criticism, even if it is the same thing (to Five Times Champiom: I know the story is clichéd, but you don't need to tell me in FIVE. DIFFERENT. REVIEWS. Also, I like having one of my OCs as a Half-Faunus, even if you don't like it). Anyways, the point is, I know this story could have been better, and I really did want to rewrite a lot of it. I mean, I redid the earliest chapters to expand a little more at one point, while adding in chapters I had skipped out before.

However, it was clear that rewriting it was impossible for a couple of things. The first reason was that I did not have any motivation to rewrite chapters, or even make new chapters, since I was super busy with school, work, or other things at the time. Hell, the last few chapters I did weren't even canonical to my story; it was a Chibi Spin-off, and a few Crossover chapters between me and Blazing-Saint (Which I really enjoyed). Not only that, but I really loved RPing with him, which did help me come up with many more potential ideas. Second thing was I was more interested in RWBY Crossovers; after all I did write a crossover between RWBY, Pokémon, and Super Mario RPG (I absolutely loved making that story). I also have another Crossover between RWBY and Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn that I am in progress of, which I am taking in all the feedback from this story to make it a more enjoyable read. Third reason is, and do not misunderstand me when I say this, my hype for RWBY did die down a bit. Now let me be clear that I have not given up on the show, I still love RWBY from five years ago, to its current run in Volume 7, and I'm proud to have the merchandise I got over time, such as the T-Shirts and the RWBY DVD Box Set (From Volume 1-6 I have right now). But I am not as big of a super obsessive Die-hard Fan as I once was. I still love the show, and always will, as it has left an unforgettable impression on me. But I must confess that with a lot of recent news going on in the Rooster Teeth company that I don't wish to talk about here, not to mention a portion of fans dropping the series did demoralize me a bit as a result . At one point, I was kind of scared that being a fan of the show would leave me open to attack online. But I will state this one more time, no matter what happens, I am a fan of RWBY and I always will be. RWBY isn't perfect, nothing is after all, but I think it's an amazing web-series!

With that said, while I do want to continue this story, I feel like I can no longer salvage what I have here. I feel that it was a good start, and I feel a wee bit wiser with experience with writing, this story has run its course. I seriously did not to end the story, especially like this, but after a lot of time to think, I honestly believe that the best course of action would be to start from scratch. I hate to do this, and I'm super sorry for all followers and to everyone who read/favourite/followed it, but the RWBY Team DRGN OC Story is effectively cancelled; I will no longer be updating this story anymore. I am really sorry to everyone who waited almost two years for me to continue, but I want you all to know that I truly am grateful for all the support over the years.

I do have plans to reboot this story, into something hopefully far better than what I have written here. I'm going to take in everything I've learned from both the reviews I've gotten as well as ideas inspired during my RPing sessions with Blazing-Saint. In fact, I'm hoping I could insert his OCs into my rebooted Team DRGN Story as side characters; after all, I did ask him to put my OCs in his story, so it's only fair. Another thing I will make sure to do in my new story is to not make my OCs overpowered as heck; when I first started writing this story I said to myself that I would avoid doing this sort of thing... Needless to say I failed in that regard so... oops XD. And one last thing, and this is a really, REALLY big one; I would really appreciate if I could find anybody to draw my OCs via commissions!

Anywho, thank you all so very much for sticking with me over these past five years. I'm glad I wrote this story, and I'm super proud of the OCs I've written as well as the OCs my friends have made. One last thing I want to address; I will NOT be deleting this story for several reasons. One, I know there are a lot of you who still enjoy it, and I don't want to take it away. Two, I have a lot of memories with it that I will not get rid of. Three, this story will serve as a reminder of what I wrote back then, and how I plan on improving. I don't know when I'll release the first chapter of what will be the rebirth of Team DRGN's story, but when I do, I hope you'll stick around. And don't forget, RWBY was made by and will always belong to Rooster Teeth and the late Monty Oum. And so...

Good-bye... for now.
