The group continues to climb the clocktower before Danny felt his cellphone buzzed. He pulls it out and sighs.
"What's wrong?" Witcha asked.
"It's my sister. I need to take this." Danny said and answer it.
"What's wrong Jazz?" He said.
"Danny, when are you coming home? I'm running out of things to tell our parents." Jazz's voice said.
"Jazz, I told you. I'm in Dracula's Castle, this isn't like a ghost showing up, causing trouble, I beat it, and learn some lesson. This place had been keeping me on my toes." He said sighing.
"Danny, I know the time zone is different there but you been gone for five days!" Jazz said.
"Look, Jazz, I...wait, FIVE DAYS?!" Danny yelled.
The others look at him, surprise themselves.
"Are you sure?!" Danny asked.
"Yes! Have you ever had a look outside a window?" Jazz asks him.
Danny couldn't believe it. He has away from home for five days. And he only slept for two of those days. Not counting the times he was knocked out or killed. Not to mention he has never been in his ghost form for so long. He heard Jazz sigh and listen to what she had to say.
"Danny, maybe you should come home. Mom and Dad are going to get worried about you being gone so long." Jazz said.
"Jazz, I..." Danny sighs.
"I can't, not yet. Dracula's power reaches out to me and I need to know why. Plus if the things said about him are true, then everyone is in danger." He said.
"I know that but..." Jazz started to say but Danny could hear it.
"You don't believe me, do you?" He asked and heard her gasp.
"WHAT?! Of course, I believe you!" She said but Danny sighs.
He felt someone tap his shoulder and saw Vampirella next to him.
"Let me talk to her." She said.
Danny nods and hands her his cellphone. She set it on the speaker and nod at the others.
"Jazz Fenton?" Vampirella said.
"Huh? Who is this?" Jazz asked.
"My name is Vampirella, the vampire that your brother told you about and I'm not alone." She said.
"I'm Witcha."
"My name is Leo."
"Hi, Jazz! I'm Slimy!"
"And I'm Damn and yes, that my name."
Jazz was quite before they hear her take a breath.
"You guys are are the monsters that my brother traveling with?" She asked.
"Yes. We are sorry for keeping him away from home for so long but this is something we need to see through." Vampirella said.
"Danny does your cellphone have video chat?" Witcha asked him.
"Um, yeah. Let me get it set up." Danny said taking the cellphone back.
After setting it up, he could see Jazz again. Both siblings smile in seeing their faces even if was on a phone.
"Hi, Jazz," Danny said.
"Hi, Danny," She said back.
"Ready to meet the monsters?" He asked and sat her nod.
Danny faces the phone to the group and heard Jazz gasps.
"You guys are..." She said.
"Yes, and to show you that I am a vampire..." Vampirella said and open her mouth to show her fangs.
Witcha held up her hands and summon her magic. Leo just shook himself to show his fur was real. Slimy smiles really big and wave her hand at her. Damn just stood still and gave his wings a small flap. Danny faces the phone back to him and bursts out laughing at his sister's face.
"Believe me now?" He asked as he laughs.
"Danny, how?!" She asked.
"Let's just say, ghosts are not the only thing that exists," Danny said.
"Jazz, we want you to know that each of us are here to help your brother. Not everything you read about monsters are true." Damn said.
"I..." Jazz tries to say but her words were caught in her throat.
"Jazz, breath. You can't be right all the time." Danny reminds her.
Jazz took a breath and looks at five.
"So you are a real vampire, witch, werewolf, slime, and demon?" She asked.
"Yes, we are. We just showed you." Leo said.
"Sorry, sorry. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it. I mean, real monsters?! How come none of you showed yourselves before?!" Jazz asked.
"Jazz!" Danny stops her.
"Sorry! It wasn't my place to asked." She said sheepishly.
"It fine. As of now, Danny needs to stay with us. Something tells me we are close to Dracula himself." Vampirella said.
"Are you guys really going to meeting Dracula?" Jazz asked.
"Yeah. We want to know why his power called out to us." Slimy said.
"Just a quick question for each of you." Jazz said and Danny sighs.
"Just one each Jazz. I'll hang up if you go against it." He warns her.
Jazz nods and looks at Vampirella.
"Is it true that you need blood to survive?" She asked.
"Yes, we vampires can drink any type of blood, we prefer humans over everything else." She said.
"And why do you look so young?" Jazz asked Witcha.
"Not all witches are ugly old hags," Witcha told her.
"Did you get bitten?" She asked Leo.
"No, I was before a werewolf," Leo answers.
"What are you?" Jazz asked Slimy.
"I'm a slime! And your brother's best friend!" Slimy said.
"Are you going to hurt Danny?" Jazz asked Damn.
"No, your brother on been declared off-limits to all demons. Even if he wasn't, I still won't hurt." Damn smiles.
"Okay Jazz, I need to go. I promise to come home once I'm done with things here." Danny said stoping her from asking more questions.
"Are you sure?" Jazz asked.
"Yeah, not sure when I'll come back but I have every plan on doing so," Danny said.
"Okay, just be careful." Jazz told him.
"I know. I'll see you soon." Danny smiles.
"Bye Jazz! It was nice to see you!" Slimy said jumping on Danny's back.
"Slimy!" Danny said, almost falling over.
"You guys take care of him for me, okay?" Jazz giggles.
"Count on it," Leo said.
With that, Danny hangs up. He looks ground and sighs.
"Sorry about her. I love her and all but she can get carried away at times." Danny said.
"It's fine. It's nice to know that your sister trusts us enough to ask to watch over you." Vampirella said.
"We were pretty close when we were little. We short of been repairing that." Danny told her.
"Heh, nice to know," Damn said.
After climbing up the tower a bit more, the group came to another room where Death stood, waiting for them.
"Ah, so you made it." He said.
"Okay, this is the second time we met you. The others waited until the last minute before showing their faces." Danny said.
Death just floated there and looks at Danny.
"Hey, I got a question!" Slimy said making Death turn to her.
"How did you get the bodies, of me, Danny, and Damn? I mean we are a slime, ghost, and demon." Slimy asked him.
"I could just show you." Death said before rising his hand.
Everyone stood ready before a bright light covers the room making them cover their eyes. When the light faded, everyone was shocked to see millions and millions of bodies everywhere.
"What the?!" Danny shouted.
Damn notices something about the bodies and down to one. He places a hand on it and couldn't sense its soul, it appears to never have one.
"Strange, this doesn't feel like a human body." He said.
Vampirella blinks and walks up to another body and uses her long nail to cut the arm open but didn't see any blood.
"No blood and it doesn't look like it was drained." She said.
Slimy blinks before grabbing one and place it in her body. She froze and quickly spits it back out.
"YUCK! That's nasty!" She said.
Danny looks over the bodies and couldn't shake the strange feeling they were being watched.
"Guys, Be on guard. I don't think were are alone in here." He said.
Just as Danny finish saying that, the bodies started to raise and then flew into the air. Everyone follows the bodies and saw them form together in a huge shell. Damn eyes widen when he saw it.
"Legion." He said.
"What?" Danny asked.
"That's Legion! The one who is many!" Damn shouted.
Everyone saw the shell lower and they could hear a growl coming from it.
"Well, since you know this one, what do we do Damn?" Danny said.
"Those bodies are protecting the core. If we destroy the shell, the core will be exposed!" Damn said.
"Okay, with how big it is, destroying the shell shouldn't take us that long," Danny said.
"Um, Danny?" Witcha pointed.
Danny looks and saw some of the bodies on the ground stand up and saw to walk towards them in a zombie-like matter.
"Me and my big mouth." Danny groans.
"Okay, new plan. Damn, Witcha, since we are the flyers let's deal with Legion ourselves. Leo, Slimy, Vampirella, deal with those...bodies of... whatever they are." Danny said.
Everyone nods and Vampirella, Leo, and Slimy ran towards the bodies and started to fight them. Damn opens his wings and Witcha whistles for her boomstick. Once it appears, she got on it and the three flew up to Legion.
"Danny, a little warning! While it hasn't been confirmed, Legion might try to mess with your mind. Seeing that you're a ghost, it might try to pull you in and make it one with you." Damn said as they flew.
"Thanks for the warning!" Danny said before firing an ectoblast at it.
Danny's shot cause Legion to scream as a few bodies fell from the shell. Down below, Leo was riping each body apart due to how they remind him of Zombies.
"I fucking hate zombies!" He growls.
"Why? What did they do to you?" Vampirella asked.
"Do you have any idea how bad a dead person smells?! Just one sniff and the smell stands for months!" Leo said.
"Not's that a reason to hate Zombies," Slimy said.
"And these aren't zombies," Vampirella added.
Leo just rolls his eyes and claw another one, making the two girls sigh.
Back above the fight, Witcha calls forth her dark magic and fire a beam at Legion, making more bodies fall off. Legion then turns started to move towards her. Wictha quickly flew under Legion before it started to drop. Danny notices and quickly flew to her. Danny grabs her and turns them intangible. Legion lands on the ground and blew some of the bodies away as the other three stood their ground. Legion raise up up and Witcha was fine but she was also very worried.
"IT GOT DANNY!" She shouted.
Everyone turns and gasp.
"Guys, we got to help him!" Damn said, knowing how bad it was now that it had Danny.
"Then let's not hold back! Everyone, MONSTER UP!" Vampirella shouted.
Slimy grew taller as her hands, feet, arms, and legs turn pink as a pink heart appears on her chest. Damn was cover in fire before it burst off him with the fire staying on his hands, feet, and wings. He was also taller and muscular. Witcha's robe turns half black/half white as a Yang-Ying symbol appears on her chest and her the black and white orbs appear. Leo's fur turns sliver and his teeth become longer and sharper. He was also a bit more muscular and his eye was blood-shot red. Vampirella cape turn into wings, as her hands turn into claws, her ear became pointy and her hair turns hot pink. Blood rose around her and give her red highlights on her eyelids and lipstick.
"Monster up?" Leo asked her.
"First thing that pops in my head." She told him.
Damn summon a fireball and shot it at Legion causing a lot of bodies to fall off and making Legion screams loudly. Witcha let a dark and light orb land in her hands and they both turn into spears. She threw them and they stab in the shell. She then raises her hand and shot a bolt of lightning at the spears. The whole shell was zapped making lots of bodies fall off. Vampirella flew up to Legion and calls forth the blood. She made a few spikes and shot them all at Legion, each one making the bodies explode in blood. Leo was rushing through the bodies on the ground very fast before jumping at Legion and started to claw and bite the shell trying to dig through to get to Danny. Slimy pull her arms back and made her hands huge. She hardens them before throwing them at Legion. She closes them into fists and punches Legion as Leo jumps off.
Legion was knocked into the wall as the shell finally broke, showing the core. The core had eight tentacles and in the middle of it was a pass out Danny Fenton.
"Danny!" Slimy shouted.
The Core raises its tentacles and fires eight laser beams at the group. Damn flew up and looks down to see the beam follow him. He flew for a bit and could see the other was having the same problem. Damn turns and fires a fireball at the beam causing it to explode. Slimy made her hands huge again and slams them on the beam. The explosion causes her hand to get blow apart but she reforms them quickly. Vampirella made a blood shield around her that the lasers hit and fade away. Leo reaches down and grabs a body and held it up to make the laser hit it. Witcha had a white orb land in her hand and turn into a sheld. She blocks the laser before turning to the core.
She then threw the shield, cutting off one of the tentacles before it bounces off the wall and cut off another one. Legion screams as blood pours from the lost tentacles. Vampirella raises her hand to call forth the blood to add it to her own before holding it above her turning it into a spinning blade. She threw it and cut off two more tentacles.
Leo ran on the ground before Damn flew down and gave him a lift. Summoning his fire, Damn covered them both before throwing Leo at the core. Leo slashes/burns through two more tentacles. With the Core down to its last two tentacles, Slimy stretches her arms out and grabs Danny. She started to pull back can could felt the Core fighting back. It raises it's two tentacles but Witcha and Vampirella cut them off with her own swords made from a light orb and blood. Slimy pull Danny free and Damn flew in front of it.
Damn took a deep breath and breathe fire on the core causing to scream as it burns away. Once it was gone, Damn stops and turns to the others that were near Danny and Slimy. He flew down as watch Slimy place her hand on Danny's chest.
"He's alive but it looks to be feeding on his lifeforce." She said.
"So, he's going to be okay?" Witcha asked, feeling this was her fault that Danny got caught.
"Yeah, some rest and food will do him good. I can feel his ghost powers helping him recover what he lost." Slimy said.
"Witcha, this isn't your fault. Danny was just doing what he always has done. Being a hero. You didn't know that Legion was going to take him." Damn said.
Witcha sighs before they heard Danny groan.
"Danny?" Witcha asked as he opens his eyes and saw the group.
"Hey. Talk about being one with someone." He jokes.
"Danny, I'm sorry," Witcha said.
"Witcha, it's okay. I'm just glad you're safe." He told her.
Witcha smiles and nods.
"Augh, I feel so weak and hungry." He said making the group nod.
"The Core was using you as its power source. It was draining you like a battery. Just get some rest and we'll try to find some food for you." Slimy told him.
"Right, thanks," Danny said before he passes out again.
The room started to glow and the group found themselves back in the room they were in before and they were back to normal. What was surprising that there was some food wanted for them along with a note.
"Well Done, Legion was one of the strong members in the Army. I can see that you six are worthy of meeting my lord. But there is one more test you have to pass. Rest and recover. Once you do, find me. Death."
The group looks at each other confused. Still Slimy lay Danny down on the floor before laying next to him. Witcha walks over to the food and uses a spell to make sure none of it was poisonous. After checking she nodded at the others. Leo joins her and grabs a few pieces of meat as Witcha grabs a few fruits and hands Vampirella a packet of blood. Damn sat next to Danny and Slimy as the group try to get ready for their next challenge.
And there we go! The group fought of Legion and they will be facing Death next. There will be Danny will get his Monster Form. And yeah, Monster Up is going to be their catchphrase when they need to turn into their monster Forms. I know there are different things about Legion so I look it up. So far, each time it showed up it always had the same three things, the Shell, The Core, and The Bodies. I mostly base this Legion off of Symphony of the Night, which I never play.
Also AnimeGoji91, please stop asking me over and over again about updating another story. I'm just going to stick with this one and three other stories for now. We'll see about those ones on a later date.
