Brooke rushed through the crowd of police officers and yellow crime tape. When she got Lucas's latest phone call which wasn't even him speaking but yelling.
"She's Gone! My little girl!" The heartbreak, shock, and fear. Sent chills down her spine.
Brooke located Lucas where she expected to find him. In Aurora's room. He was in a state she had never seen him in before. Disconnected and in more pain and agony then she ever imagined.
Brooke closed the bedroom door behind her. As she rushed over to where Lucas was seated.
She engulfed him into a tight hug.
"I'm so sorry. I don't understand how this happened. We'll find her no matter what it takes." Brooke said.
"What am i missing.? What went wrong. Brooke please i have understand what happened. What did she say to you during you're last talk with her.?" Lucas questioned.
Brooke felt a knot of emotion grow in her throat. As she turned from Lucas. And retold every detail of her last conversation with Aurora. Especially focused on the distraught girl's last words.
Lucas's eyes went wide as he looked back at Brooke.
"Why didn't you tell me about this right after it happened.?" Lucas asked.
"I thought she was hurt and venting. I never imagined she would end up running away like this. If i knew that she was this unstable i would of done more. Luke please try and understand where i'm coming from." Brooke pleaded.
Lucas narrowed his gaze towards her.
"Get Out! I could talked to her. Figured out she was hurting and pushed aside. You never told me because you couldn't be bothered! Aurora means everything to me! You knew that better then anyone!" Lucas yelled.
"What can i do now!" Brooke asked.
"Leave and don't come back. This is over." Lucas said. Leaving the room as he joined the police officers downstairs.

Present Time
Lucas closed the door to his office. Got out his phone and dialed the most recent number of the private detective he hired two years ago. After firing another one who only cared for the money he was being paid instead of finding his daughter.
"The police in town are closing the case. I need to know if you have any leads.?" Lucas asked. Clutching the phone to his ear.
"I have a location and an address. But there is more going on here then you realize. Let me explain. Aurora has been held captive all this time. She met Xavier Daniels during her first few days of being in LA. He came off as a nice, older guy, making promises that got her to trust him. He took advantage of her vulnerable state and used that to gain control over her and the life she once does not remember her old life. He has her brain washed. And in love with him." The private detective said.
