Part 27
Two weeks before her wedding day Caitlin and her friends along with Nora and Carla were at a nice restaurant for Caitlin's bachelorette party. After dinner they would go back to Caitlin's parents house to watch movies and just spend time together. Thomas, Caitlin's dad was going to go out with the guys for Barry's bachelor party.
"So Caitlin in two weeks you will be married to Barry." Said Kara
"Yeah. Though since we have been living together for a long time already it's just a formality really. I mean Barry and I consider ourselves married in our hearts already." Said Caitlin taking a sip of the champagne her mom had ordered for the table.
The only one not drinking was Iris who was pregnant. She had a glass of the finest sparkling grape juice the restaurant had.
"I knew a long time ago that you and Barry would be perfect for each other. I think that I still have that video that Henry made of that play wedding you had when you were nine." Said Nora
"What?" asked Kelly
"It was one of the few times in my life I played dress up as a kid." Said Caitlin
"Oh we so have to see that." Said Kara
"You will. Henry made a copy for Thomas and me. We can watch it and a few other home movies when we get back to the house." Said Carla
"Please no mom!" said Caitlin
"I remember that play wedding. If I remember right it was Barry's idea. I was the minister that married you." Said Iris
"Oh we have to see this now." Said Alex
"Come on guys. You don't really want to see that embarrassing video do you?" asked Caitlin
"It is not that bad." Said Nora
"Yeah right." Mumbled Caitlin
Barry sat on his parents couch drinking a beer. Mon-El, Cisco, Eddie, his dad and Caitlin's dad. There were boxes of pizza and hot wings spread out around the living room. They were just hanging out having a quite night in. Just the kind of bachelor party Barry wanted.
"You guys know this would be the second time Barry marries Caitlin." Said Henry
"What?" asked Cisco
"When they were nine they had a pretend wedding. Iris I believe officiated." Said Thomas
"Please tell us you recorded this." Said Eddie
"Actually I did." Said Henry pulling out a VHS tape.
"You got a working VCR?" asked Cisco
"Sure do. Got to remember to have this transferred to a DVD or digital file." Said Henry
"Dr. Allen, I will take care of that and any other home movies of little Barry and Caitlin." Said Cisco
"Dad, you know we really don't have to watch that." Said Barry
"Come on Slugger it will be fun." Said Henry
Henry put the tape in the VCR and started it. Barry grabbed a pillow from the couch and buried his face in it. On the TV screen Caitlin walked to the make shift alter where Iris was waiting. Barry stood there watching as Caitlin walked down the aisle holding some daisies in her hands. Everyone laughed when they saw Lucky the dog as Barry's best man.
"Damn Caitlin was a cute kid." Said Eddie
"Hey you are a married man. Why don't you look at your wife as a kid?" said Barry
"I was just saying that Caitlin was cute. I never knew that Caitlin wore glasses." Said Eddie
"She got contacts when she started middle school. She was so happy." Said Thomas
"I remember when I saw her without her glasses the first time. The first thought that went through my head was that she had the prettiest eyes I had ever seen." Said Barry
Henry smiled at Thomas knowing that Barry had it bad for Caitlin for a very long time.
Caitlin closed her eyes as her mom started the video.
"Oh my god! I forgot that Barry's dog was the best man." Said Iris laughing.
"Do we have to watch this?" asked Caitlin
"This is too good not to watch." Said Kara
"Caitlin, you wore glasses?" asked Kelly
"Um yeah. I switched to contacts in middle school. I am a little near sighted. I hated the glasses." Said Caitlin
"They weren't that bad Caitlin." Said Alex
"Whatever." Mumbled Caitlin
When they reached the part of the ceremony about kissing the bride, Barry looked at Caitlin and made a disgusted face. That was when little Caitlin grabbed Barry's face and planted a kiss on his lips.
"Caitlin, I never knew you could be so bold." Said Kara
"Never bring this up to anyone. Do I make myself clear." Said Caitlin
"I think that all your friends are going to know about it honey. Henry just sent me a text that he pulled out the video to show the boys." Said Nora
"Of course he did. Cisco is never going to let this go." Said Caitlin
Just then Caitlin's phone chimed with a text. She looked at it and saw it was from Barry.
Well you should know that Cisco is loving the fact that you kissed me at our fake wedding as kids.
*So are the girls. Barry, I don't regret that kiss.*

"I take it that was lover boy checking in." said Kara
"Yeah. Just telling me he loves me." Said Caitlin
"Like that is news to anyone." Said Alex
Caitlin just smiled. She knew that it was no secret how much she and Barry loved each other.
