Anna lays on the floor of the cave, holding her torso and crying, the Night Lights trying their best to comfort her but they're also feeling alone now.

"Olaf? Elsa? Heather? Hiccup?" Anna pulled her arms around her and sniffed again, it felt like everything hurt to her. "What do I do now?"

"I've seen dark before, but not like this." Anna sang, her words filled with pain. "This is cold, this is empty, this is numb." Anna looked at the Night Lights who crooned for her.

"The life I knew is over, the lights are out. Hello darkness, I'm ready to succumb." Anna held onto her wrist, ready to accept this way of life.

"I follow you around. I always have, but you've gone to a place I cannot find." Anna lifted her head thinking of the one's she lost. "This grief has a gravity, it pulls me down." Anna turned around slightly and sobbed once more.

"But a tiny voice, whispers in my mind." Anna begins to fill with a small trickle of hope. "You are lost. Hope is gone, but you must go on and do the next right thing." She sang as tears streamed down her face.

"Our Prince is lost, hope is gone, but we must go on and do the next right thing." Ruffrunner sang in agreement of their aunt as Daft stood up and sniffed the air, searching for a way out and found one before screeching to her siblings and Anna.

"Can there be a day beyond this night? I don't know anymore what is true." Anna saw the Night Lights encouraging her to follow as she leaned over on her knees as a thick fog surrounded her.

"There is a day beyond this night, I know it to be true." Dart tried comforting her and encouraging her to keep going while singing.

"I can't find my direction, I'm all alone. The only star that guided me was you." Anna sat up taking a deep breath in.

"How to rise from the floor, when it's not you I'm rising for? Just do the next right thing." Anna staggered to stand while holding her arms close to her body. "Take a step, step again. It is all that I can. To do the next right thing." Anna slung her bag over her head and took a step forward.

"I won't look too far ahead, it's too much for me to take." Anna climbed up a ridge taking easy steps as the Night Lights encourages her to keep on going. "But break it down to this next breath, this next step, this next choice, is one that I can make." She looked out towards a ledge and readied herself to jump.

"So I'll walk through this night. Stumbling blindly towards the light and do the next right thing." Anna landed on the other side of the crevasse and found her way out of the cave.

"And with the dawn, what comes then? When it's clear that everything will never be the same again?" Anna looked out at the dam, then sighed knowing what she needs to do. "Then I'll make the choice, to hear that voice and do the next right thing."

The Princess looked up, spotting Stormfly flying around above her, she waved her dragon down.

"Stormfly, I thought I lost you, too." Anna hugged the dragon, Stormfly returned the favour by nudging her head against Anna. "I tried, girl, I really did. But now they're, gone." Anna lowered her head, Stormfly crooned.

"Aunt Stormfly, we can celebrate this reunion later, right now there's something we have to do." Dart said as Anna climbed onto the dragons back.

"What do we do?" Stormfly asked, having no idea what she missed.

"We're going to break the dam." Pouncer said to the Nadder and Stormfly took off, followed by the Night Lights.

Anna held on tight to Stormfly's saddle as the Deadly Nadder flew above the forest, they were looking for something that could help them set things right.

"Oh, there, Stormfly, land." The dragon did as her rider commanded and descended down to a clearing, Anna jumped out of the saddle. "WAKE UP!" Anna yelled at the top of her lungs, an earth giant was sleeping against a cliff.

"WAKE UP!" Anna shouted, drawing out the words as the giant opened his eyes angrily.

"This was probably a bad idea." Pouncer comments and his siblings agree.

The giant stood up and rubbed its head in frustration, Stormfly and Anna looked up at the cranky spirit with fear. They took a step forward, but tripped and landed on top of another giant.

The giant being squashed threw the other off him and it landed back on the ground, Anna watched with caution. They spotted the Princess and dragons, he stood up ready to go after them.

"That's it, come and get us, come on." Anna jumped back on Stormfly and they edged further away from the giants.

The giant reached to grab Stormfly, but the dragon jumped out of the way and flew up into the sky. The giants rose above the trees glaring at the rider and dragon, their sleep had been disturbed and they were mad. The largest giant growled and the sound created from it threw Stormfly a bit of in the air.

"Over here!" Anna yelled back while holding onto Stormfly's saddle tighter. "That's right, keep coming!" She shouted at them as the giants struggled to grab Stormfly.

Anna banked right on Stormfly to avoid being grabbed by one of the giants, another grabbed a boulder and hurled it at the dragon.

Stormfly avoided the incoming boulder and turned to look at the advancing spirits.

"That'll work. This way, guys!" Anna yelled waving her arms and steering Stormfly back towards the dam.

-

The Giants grumbled and continued chasing after her, not too far Kristoff, Sven, and Hookfang were wandering around.

All three looked up and saw Stromfly beckoning the giants to follow and avoiding the occasional arm reaching for her.

Matthias and the other Arrendellian guards gathered atop a nearby hill, they spotted Anna atop Stormfly.

"What?" Matthias looked over at the dam then realised what she was trying to do. "No, no, she's leading them to the dam!"

Matthias ran down the hill, hoping to stop Anna before she reached it.

The giants we're gaining on Stormfly who was getting stressed, one of the giants reached for her and clipped her wing, causing her to cry in pain.

The Nadder and rider slowly floated to the ground and landed with a crash.

The lead giant raised his foot to squash the two of them, but Kristoff, who was riding Hookfang, flew down and grabbed Anna as Stormfly jumped out of the way.

"Kristoff?!" Anna held on to her Boyfriend in disbelief, he looked down at her.

"I'm here, what do you need?" He asked her steering Hookfang away from the giants.

"To get to the dam." She told him, while looking down at Stormfly who was running just in the tree line.

"You got it!" Kristoff urged Hookfang to fly faster and the dragon roared in agreement.

"Thank you." Anna told him, she was beyond thrilled to see him.

The giants threw several trees at the dragon, Hookfang maneuvered around them. They were getting closer, Hookfang had an idea and flew into the trees.

He dropped the two of them off and Sven took it from there, the giants began to search through the trees to find them.

Sven ran through the treeline, the reindeer soon stopped upon reaching a cliff, he lifted the two of them up.

"Help me up?" Anna asked as Kristoff who pushed her up the cliff as the Night Lights pulled her up by her hands.

"We'll meet you around!" Kristoff called up to her as Anna pulled herself up onto the cliff.

Anna stood up on the cliff, she stopped, Matthias and the other guards stood firm.

"Lieutenant Matthias." Anna edged closer to him.

"Your Highness, what are you doing?" Matthias asked, still holding his sword.

"The dam must fall, it's the only way to break the mist and free the forest." Anna told him with confidence.

"We've sworn to protect Arendelle at all costs." He answered back as Anna shook her head.

"Arendelle has no future, until we make this right." Anna stepped towards him. "King Ruenard betrayed everyone, including the Foreverwing." She revealed to him, Matthias looked at her in disbelief.

"How do you know that?" He questioned, not sure she was telling the truth.

"Elsa, Heather, and Hiccup gave their lives for the truth." Anna held her hand close to her chest, as Matthias took in deep breaths.

"Please, before we lose anyone else." Anna begged as Matthias closed his eyes and sighed, before raising his shield.

He nodded and hit his sword against his shield, trying to draw the Giants to the dam with the noise.

The others joined their leader, the clanging from the shields echoed across to the giants, who looked over.

Anna ran past the soldiers and towards the dam as the Night Lights kept her from getting hit as the giants threw their boulders towards them.

Matthias looked up and stopped, the boulders we're coming right for them.

"Look out!" Matthias pushed a man out of the way before a boulder crushed him.

More boulders rained down as the lieutenant got up and looked towards Anna. The Princess ran at full speed to the centre of the dam, she skidded to a stop and is shocked to who was already on the bridge.

What she sees is Hiccup standing there, his mask over his face and his eyes shut, looking more to the ground than to her.

"Hiccup!?" Anna asks, confused what he's doing here when Stormfly flies down and is confused as to what's wrong with Hiccup. "I thought I lost you!" She says with happiness and goes closer to hug him when she noticed something is definitely wrong. "Hiccup?"

"Uncle Hiccup?" The Night Lights all ask.

Hiccup pulls out Inferno and ignited it and aims it at Stormfly. Just then, Stormfly starts feeling Hiccup take control her mind and tries to stop him and was stumbling around while shaking her head.

"Hiccup, what are you doing?!" Anna asks, confused why he would be using a power like that when a boulder comes crashing in between them and she sees the giants throwing boulders at them all.

Hiccup holds his hands out and Stormfly flew over almost robotically and grabbed him by the arms before flying off, leaving Anna on the tumbling dam as confused as she could possibly be.

Anna runs back as the dam falls apart and leaps at the last second, as she fell a hand grabbed her, Anna gasped in relief as she was suspended above the gorge.

"I've got her." Matthias called back to Kristoff he keeled down beside the soldier.

"Anna." Kristoff reached down for his girlfriend, she grabbed his hand.

"Hang on." The two men pulled her up as the Night Lights help yank her up the best they can.

The dam collapsed as the water current became too strong for it to hold back any longer.

"Where's Stormfly?" Kristoff asks when they looked back to where Hookfang was supposed to be and he's missing as Winn .

The fore spirit symbols appeared in the sky as did the head of the Foreverwing dragon roared.

-

Olaf's snow, that was still sitting behind the waterfall, began to glow.

Elsa and Liry unfroze and gasped as air filled their lungs, the ice beneath them cracked and they fell into a deep abyss.

The water spirit saw them and watched as the Queen and dragon drowned even deeper into the water.

Heather was able to break the lock on the cages and snuck off the ship, no dragon, no weapons, no plan, but she needs to find the others.
