Nobody Listens

Dewey feels that no one is his family pays attention to him so he runs off, but is later found. It's no big deal. Or so it seems. But Webby's onto him. There's something strange about Dewey, and she'll find out what. She should be able to figure out what's wrong with her friend...right? Rated T for violence; no cursing. (THIS IS A SHORT STORY, SO THE CHAPTERS ARE SHORT.)

27. Chapter 27

Nobody Listens Chapter 27: "Nothing"

Webby watched as Dewey turned over.

"Dewey?"

He didn't respond, but she knew that he wasn't sleeping.

"Why are you doing this?"

"Just-just leave me alone! No one listens anyways, why should you?"

"Listen to what?"

"Nothing." He pulled the blanket over his head.

Nothing was not an answer.

So I know Dewey hasn't run away yet, but he will….just wait…
