Chapter 6-Winter Spider
"What?" Peter asked when his 12 hours were up. He didn't remember anything except Wanda, and Hydra of course.
Peter stood up and watched the soldier with morbid curiosity. He didn't remember much but this man held some sort of danger to him. It felt like something was screaming at him to run but he ignored it clamping a hand over his neck as if to silence it.
"Emotion" Peter started shaking.
"Death" Beads of sweat dripped down his head.
"Pain" He took deeper breaths trying to get his bad.
"Break" The world was blurring at the edges.
"Alone" Nothing. Peter was gone.
"Solider, ready to comply?" The man in front of him spoke
"Ready to comply" Peter spoke. Emotionless. Except, he wasn't Peter anymore. Yes he may look and sound like Peter but he wasn't. He was Winter Spider.

"You need to calm down" Natasha said concerned. Her eyes shown with unshed tears. Her worry for both the child and the man was concerning for all of them. It was a rare occasion.
"I can't" Tony breathed.
"Panic attack?" Bruce said rushing into the room and hurried ly going to his friends side. He walked through the anxiety rush as he did every time this situation arose, which unfortunately for him was quite frequently.
"You with me Tones?" Rhodey asked bending down next to him when he knew he wouldn't freak his friend out.
Tony nodded still not accepting the fact that his kid was gone. His kid had been kidnapped from right under their noses. It had happened about a week ago they had been told.
Flashback
Tony was working in the lab working on a new spiderman suit to give his son when he came home from thanksgiving or Christmas. Even though he wasn't spider manning it would be a way for Peter to get in touch or have a suit that could be put on faster than even nanotech.
"Hey sweetie" Pepper said walking into the lab and standing over her husband. It was such a fun thought, never did she think she'd be married to a boss let alone pregnant with their baby girl. She put her hands on his shoulders bending over so she could see what he was going. "Is that a spiderman suit?"
"Indeed it is" He said pulling up a summary for this reason in particular. "It's going to have super advanced nanotechnology that can work in a second flat, disappearing tech, more web suiter combo's.." Tony trailed off when he got a call from MIT.
"What is it?" Pepper asked when she noticed her husbands brow furrow the way it always did when he looked nervous.
"I don't know…" He said quietly answering the call and giving Pepper a nervous look.
"Is this the Parent or Guardian of Peter Stark" A pause, "Tony Stark?"
"Indeed I am" Tony replied. Something about this felt bad. "Is something wrong?"
"Actually yes" The man who Tony realized had never actually introduced himself said.
"I am Williams Sorgrad and I am the head principle at MIT college. Our records show that Peter Stark has been absent for 14 years and is facing suspension, expulsion, and/or pension." He introduced and Tony nodded before realizing that the man couldn't see him.
"Well, where is he?" Tony asked trying to avoid the obvious situation.
"That's the thing Mr. Stark sir, we don't know" Williams said before Tony abruptly hung up the phone his breathing rate picking up.
"Tony" he heard pepper shout and he was sure this kind of stress from her wasn't good for the baby but he couldn't even form a coherent thought.
"Tony" Natasha said urgently rushing in, "We have a situation"
Present
It was shocking to say the least when they heard that Ned Leeds as in the Nerd friend had called the infamous black widow over either one of the Starks. He had explained that it was the first number on his contact list courtesy to the widow herself.
"Hello…" A nerdy kid waved from behind her. His eyes were eyes red rimmed and puffy.
"Ned" Tony said giving the boy a hug. "Are you ok?"
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine Mr. Stark, but Peter isn't" He started to explain what happened from the school break to the sacrifice.
"They are going to get hell fire" Tony said after hearing who his kids captors were and probably Wanda's too.
All the Avengers had assembled in the main room to come with a plan and also Hydra's plan even Bucky was there with special 'limited edition access' as Tony liked to call it. He was a big help too, being able to give some maybe clues. It wasn't for sure but Bucky could suspect they were going to use the kid for something.
"Ok what's are plan" Steve said hands on hips looking over the whiteboard.
"And no it can't be attack" Natasha says rolling her eyes at the memory.
"Attack is a great plan" Tony said with mock offense. The other just rolled their eyes. They all knew the billionaires coping mechanism was jokes and sarcasm.
"Rhodey, Clint, Bruce, Thor. You guys will secure the perimeter. Scott, Clint, and Nat will lead the way through the building trying to get into the main data base. Tony, Vision, and Pepper (rescue suit) you guys can lead the search. I'll come with you just in case" Steve directed. Everyone nodded their approval and boarded the quinjet towards the base.
"Are we sure this is the right place?" Tony checked.
"Yes" Bucky said never once looking Tony in the eyes.
"Look James, you're helping me find my kid, you're righting your wrongs. Heaven knows I've made my share of mistakes." Tony said a hopeful expression adjoining his features and the team gave small smiles to each other. The avengers were healing.
When the quinjet landed everyone just kind of stood there. As if waiting for something. No one had dared uttered the words. It was always Peter's thing and without Pete it wasn't the same. So everyone just thought it avengers assemble.
