Chapter 15: The Final Battle?

It was just after that Littlefoot said his last phrase, this time to be more safe Light said to the parents of the courageous one along with their relatives and their friends with their true love to stay in the valley, only Light and his friends will come with them.

Light could feel where Deathir was, he was waiting in the place where everything start for Littlefoot and his friends, the location was none other than where the Great Earthshake started, it was going to be long travel for them but they know they need to do it, Sharptooth will surely wait for them before the reach it.

The only good side of this travel was they were never hungry or thirsty thanks to Light's magic, the group of seven will surely miss them when they go back in their world.

Eventually they reach a point which trigger a bad memory for Littlefoot and Cera, in front of them Sharptooth was here and he has chosen a place of great sorrow, he was where Littlefoot's Mom died all those Cold Times ago! However strangely enough no bones of a Longneck was here, it was as if it never happens!

Upon seeing them Sharptooth said to them with a huge evil grin on his lips.

Sharptooth: "I'm glad that you are all alive! That way this time I got the honor to kill you were you stand!"

Littlefoot: "So want to kill me along with my friends and Red Claw where my mother died?"

Sharptooth: "Exactly meat! After all she was the one who gave me the strength to continue my pursuit of you! I would have enjoyed your face when you will see the remnant of what was left of her but it seems nature was crueler than me because there is nothing left here!"

Littlefoot: "You are truly a monster Sharptooth! Nothing can save you now!"

Sharptooth: "Bold words coming from someone so young, if you remember our last fight you were literally at the gates of the Great Beyond, Deathir gave me more power than I have at the Tree of Life, I even don't need the barrier anymore, what made you think you have a chance against me dead meat!"

Cera: "If you think that we are the same as we were before, you truly underestimate us, we manage to get back from the Great Beyond! There's nothing you can do against us, on the plus side if you don't have your barrier anymore that means we can hurt you now!"

Sharptooth: "I'm going to enjoy this more than I though let's fight!"

This fight was something no one has never seen before in their, each attack Sharptooth made against them left them at the gates of the Great Beyond again, however each time the courageous ones manage to get back on their feets, defense wasn't an option for them so each one used their most powerful skill and spell against him, Littlefoot was switching between using Dragon Slash with his new weapon and using Dragon Soul against Sharpteeth, slowly but surely they attack him until he drop on the ground in front of them, how they done it? The group of seven didn't know the answer but finally this nightmare was over.

Littlefoot made his way toward Sharptooth when he was in front of him he said.

Littlefoot: "That… was… for my… mother!"

Sharptooth: "How… how did… you manage… to beat… me… I'm the… messenger… of death!"

Littlefoot: "Nothing… is impossible… when you… have… love, friends and… family… with you!"

Sharptooth: "Do what you need to do, there is nothing left from me in this world you take it all away from me!"

Littlefoot: "Me and my friends already killed a lot of Sharpteeths when we were kids but you know the between me and you Sharptooth? I am not a killer like you, it was just self defense every time but you know the worst part of it is that every time it happen I feel guilty for them because we might be another Sharpteeth love ones that also died because of what we did"

Sharptooth: "You can say that to me meat! You destroy my family with your action that day!"

Cera: "No Sharptooth, we didn't do this! In fact they are still out there!"

Sharptooth: "Liar! They are dead! My master told me they were!"

Littlefoot: "Tell him Chomper, he needs to know the true!"

Chomper: "Your daughter is still alive Sharptooth and your mate too! In fact me and my friends saved her life when we came this way to meet my parents again, without us she would be dead right now and she is my girlfriend"

Sharptooth: "My own blood can't love someone friendly like you! I know that she is bad like me but you have the nerve to tell me a lie like that, you are not worthy to be the same kind as me!"

Spike: "She was here along with your mate at the Tree of Life, she tried to talk with you but you made her unconscious, she died because of your master but manage to get back because of her friends, her mother but the most important was her love for Chomper!"

Sharptooth: "Lies! All lies! You can't tell the truth! You don't even know her name!"

Chomper: "Her name is Tyra and her mother is named Rexa!"

Sharptooth: "No! No! You can't know that!"

Chomper: "I know a lot more about you that you can image"

Sharptooth: "Really?! Like what?!"

Chomper: "I know your true name Sharptooth"

Sharptooth: "No one knows it but sure try it, let see how you play this move!"

Chomper: "Wrong, someone still knows it, I'm the son of your former best friends Rockhead and his mate Nora, your real name is Ironhead"

Sharptooth: "No! No! Impossible! You can't be his son!"

Chomper "Sorry but I am, he was very sad of what you became"

Sharptooth: "I'm stuck here because of my hate toward all of you! Peace will never come from me!"

Littlefoot: "Then there is only one thing I can do"

Sharptooth: "What let me here alone while you fight my master? Until there is life is in this body I will not let you through!"

Littlefoot: "No I will do something worse, I forgive you for everything you done to us and this world"

Sharptooth: "Forgiveness? Coming from you? Ha! Don't make me laugh!"

Littlefoot: "I'm serious Sharptooth, I'm sorry that we killed you, I forgive you for chasing us, I forgive you for everyone you hurt or killed and I forgive you for killing my mother"

Suddenly a glow appears around Sharptooth's body, he can feel an emotion he didn't feel for a long time: Peace, upon feeling it and looking at his body he said to them.

Sharptooth: "That feeling! It seems that I need to get back to my new job in the Other place, soon I will disappear again despite still being alive, know that I will be there every day in the Great Valley waiting to bring dinosaurs in their final resting place"

After saying that Sharptooth disappears in front of them, leaving the courageous with one mission in their mind: Deathir and this time forgiveness will not be an option.

The group of dinosaurs continues their way toward where the Great Earthshake started, every step made them closer to the end of their adventure, it was a long ride to say the least, who would have imagine seven seemingly normal dinosaurs to do something like this? This will be the greatest story of all time for sure!

Finally the group of dinosaurs reach the end of the breach the Great Earthshake made all those Cold Times, several feet away was none other than Deathir himself with his new hideous form, Deathir returns himself upon feeling their presence, with a huge grin in his lips he said to them.

Deathir: "It seems that I underestimate you courageous ones however this world is already mine, when nothing will be left you I will move on to the next world, such a pity to see young souls sacrifice their life for nothing"

Deathir: "No one will save you know! Prepare your goodbye for everyone you care!"

The fight to determine the fat of this world have begun, unlike with Sharptooth the courageous ones could use everything that they learn on this adventure, every location they visit, every person they meet, everyone was behind them in spirits as if they were here with them hoping the courageous made a better for all of them, each blow made against him brought them closer to their victory, the fight feels like Cold Times was passing, it was surely the hardest fight they have found themselves with a monster, at least until the final blow has been dealt against him, when it happens he said to them.

Deathir: "No… how could… something… like this… happen… to me?"

Light: "It's over Deathir you lost!"

Deathir: "So much… power… yet… I was… not able… to do… anything… against them!"

Littlefoot: "This is for everyone you made suffer! Gigaslash!"

Littlefoot used Gigaslash against Deathir, upon impact with the blow his body is destroyed in front of them, they did it! The courageous ones have won! But the cost was still heavy for this victory, life couldn't come back form the one who lost him, the Heart of Yggdrasil was free and made his way inside Light body to be safe, they have now a last mission in their hands: return it to it's original place, so Light used Zoom to made they go back there again, like before they made their way toward this sacred place.

Upon arriving the sight wasn't like the last time they were here, only a couple of leafs was still on the branch and strangely enough they were all on one branch, Light made his way where the Heart was, when he is in front of it the Heart of Yggdrasil made his way back where it was supposed to be which brought back every leafs that weren't destroyed on the branches of the tree, after that is done Saphir said to them.

Saphir: "Well… this is the end, come on let's return in the Great Valley and say our thanks and goodbye to everyone!"

Sky: "It was fun to be here but each of us know that this day was coming"

Aqua: "None of us will forget you, this is a memory I will keep!"

Light: "You can start to descend without me, I want to stay here a little longer"

Saphir: "Ok but don't be long, the more we wait, the more it will hurt!"

Light: "I know"

The group of dinosaurs begins to made their way back to the platform, when was alone Light said while looking at the Heart of Yggdrasil and said to himself.

Light: "I done it mysterious voice! I manage to save their world and my world in the process, I couldn't have done it without you, thank you for everything!"

Light was about to turn back when suddenly a small light came out of the Heart of Yggdrasil and land on the ground in front of it, curious to see what it was Light made his way toward it, upon reaching it the light was still there but slowly it disappeared to reveal a lost artifact from their world, on the ground in front of it was none other than the Wheel of Time! Upon seeing what it was Light grabs it and said to himself.

Light: "The Wheel of Time? Legends said it was lost to us but it seems it have been hidden here, why the Heart gave me such an important item? I need to tell it to everyone at the Great Valley!"

With that said Light runs to catch with the group of dinosaurs, he manage to catch up with them on the platform, now that everyone was here Littlefoot used Zoom to go back inside the valley along with the others, they all land at their parent's usual spot and surely enough their family and relatives were along with their friends, upon seeing him Bron said to Littlefoot.

Bron: "Littlefoot! You did it! You saved us all!"

Topps: "That's my daughter for you, congratulation Cera!"

Saurala: "I'm so glad you came back safely, than you Duck and Spike!"

Saurolo: "I'm so proud of the both of you, you save our world!"

Pterano: "I knew that you have what it takes to do such a thing, nobody can make fun of you anymore Petrie!"

Ptera: "I was so scared of loosing you again like when the Great Earthshake but you came back unarmed, you saved every dinosaurs Petrie!"

Tria: "I'm glad that everything his back to normal!"

Grandpa Longneck: "We even have a good news, we manage to find the Hidden Valley inside this wall"

Littlefoot: "Really who did it?"

Bron: "It was thanks to me, I find the same day of the fight in the tree after we came back and deal with Red Claw"

Petrie: "Flyers didn't find it in the sky"

Bron: "It was east of the big forest where the way of travel of Chrono and Stella is located"

Grandpa Longneck: "To thank the Sharpteeth for their help we allow all of them to live in there and has a free access to the Great Valley, the Hidden Valley has a path toward the Mysterious Beyond for them to hunt, the Hidden Valley as a lot more swimming scalies and furry crawlers than here, it can sustain a big pack of them for all their life! You Chomper however become permanent member of the valley with Tyra for what you did"

Chomper: "Really? That's great! But what about Red Claw?"

Grandpa Longneck: "He said no but we insist and he finally gave in, we also allowed Halftooths to become permanent member of the Great Valley, they will live in the Secret Caverns since it so familiar to them now except Guido because he is already placed with Flyers"

Ruby: "This means that my family can live here! Live here for my family this means!"

Grandma Longneck: "Sadly despite being finally saved from this, many dinosaurs died too soon"

Grandpa Longneck: "If only there was a way to save them, sadly it's in the past now, we will continue to live a better future, for their sake!"

Upon hearing that Light hesitate to tell them, he could gave them what they need to get everyone back but it was risky, after all last time if the first Hero hasn't be prepared his actions would have brought even more death on the reason why he used it but after everything he done for them the least he can do is tell them.

Light: "There's a way to bring everyone back"

Topps: "What?! That the stupidest thing I heard you said"

Light: "I'm serious Mr Threehorn"

Ducky: "If this a place we saw in one of the visions?"

Light: "Yes when I came back I tell you that Deathir brought Yggdrasil here but if you remember I also tell you he brought another thing from our world"

Sky: "…The Tower of Lost Time!"

Light: "Exactly! I didn't why at the time it was brought here but I think I know why now, you see when we return the Heart of Yggdrasil I stayed behind a little bit, the Heart of Yggdrasil gave me this!"

Light shows them the Wheel of Time, all of them expect Aqua recognize it from the Golden Orb visions.

Light: "This is the key to the tower, inside will be the Time Sphere, it has collected memory of this world since it was brought up here"

Chrono: "When we where on the tree we find out it was brought here after the enormous flying fall here"

Grandpa Longneck: "This long? Why nobody saw it until then?"

Sky: "I think if someone saw it, he or she thought he or she was crazy, after all before we came if someone would have told you that you will think the same thing"

Topps: "Can't argue with that point"

Light: "This means that it can bring you back before anyone died, however in the past it almost brought more destruction that it saved"

Sky: "You won a difficult fight, you should be satisfied by that, you will have to do everything again"

Littlefoot: "I know and the Valley will never be the same with the Halftooths and the Sharpteeths inside but some of them were my friends, if I can do something to save them I will do it! What about you guys?"

Cera: "We're in this together Littlefoot!"

Ducky: "I want to save them yep! yep! yep!"

Spike: "Where Ducky goes I'll go too!"

Petrie: "Me knows that Petrie and his friends will win this time!"

Chomper: "I can save every Leaf Eaters that died too, of course I will do it!"

Ruby: "I'm still responsible for him until this is over! Until this is over for him I'm still responsible! I also want to help the others!"

Light: "Then it is decided then, today we made our way toward the Tower of Lost Time! I suppose everyone is coming?"

The other dinosaurs: "Of course we do!"

The group of dinosaurs leaves the Great Valley and made their way toward the tower, the group consisted of Littlefoot, Grandpa Longneck, Grandma Longneck, Bron, Shorty, Ali, Nalia, Doc, Dara, Cera, Topps, Tria, Tricia, Strike, Ducky, Spike, Saurala, Saurolo, Petrie, Ptera, Pterano, Guido, Tippy, Gosa, Stego, Chomper, Rockhead, Nora, Tyra, Rexa, Red Claw, Thud, Strut, Ruby, Ovi, Ravi, Chrono, Stella, Light, Saphir, Sky and Aqua, no one has never seen something like this before, despite all their differences, they were all reunited for one goal: saving the lost ones!

Upon the horizon they saw their destination, the group of dinosaurs made their way toward until they are in front of the stairs, Light climbed them and put the Wheel of Time in his original place which open the door of the tower, one by one they enter the door, inside the sight was beautiful despite the fact that almost everyone have seen it in the Silver Orb vision, this place has so many thing they didn't understand but it wasn't the time to ask about this.

At the top all of them saw a familiar face, in front of them was the Time Keeper (it is not the same from Dragon Quest XI, he his however related to one of them here, the first one to find out win my respect, the hint is in Chapter 14-1), upon seeing them the Time Keeper said to them.

The Time Keeper: "Greetings travelers! Welcome to the tower of Lost Time, tell me what is your purpose here?"

Upon hearing the voice of the Time Keeper Light recognizes it instantly and said to it.

Light: "You are the mysterious voice that I heard three Cold Times ago, it was you that gave me all the power I needed to help them defeat Deathir!"

The Time Keeper: "Indeed it was me"

Ducky: "We came here because of the Time Sphere"

Light: "We want to go back before Deathir manage to beat the courageous ones, that ay we will save every dinosaurs that died this day"

The Time Keeper: "This could be possible but if you come back you will still loose, you need the help of specific dinosaur to be able to beat him"

Light: "Which ones?"

The Time Keeper: "Families need to be reunited for each of your friends, along with the help of the Lone Dinosaur, The Legendary Threehorn and the Exceptional Spiketail with his mate, you also need to find one of each kind of Sharpteeth chosen by destiny, only then that together you will have the strength to do so"

Sky: "That means we need to save Littlefoot's mother, the first mate of Mr Threehorn along with his kids that were older than Cera, the mate of Ptera, the family of Spike, the family of Strike, Hyp's father mate, the brother of Strut and the brother of Thud"

Grandma Longneck: "Which means will we have to save Pterano's group"

Grandpa Longneck: "The Lone dinosaur died a long time ago, what are we going to do about this?"

The Time Keeper: "A descendant is what you need and fortunately for you already have it among you"

Dara: "Really which is it?"

Littlefoot: "I was having my suspicion about who it was, it's you Doc… right? Every align to what my grandfather told us"

Doc: "The stories have been mixed up, my kind live for a long time, it was the First Lone Dinosaur that free the valley long ago that was infested by Sharpteeth, to thank him for his action Saurus Rock was created as his image, however they are no such thing as bad luck if damage is dealt upon it, every descendants look exactly like him, later Sharptooth came upon the valley and I was the only one in the area capable of stopping him, the rest of the story every dinosaur living in the Great Valley knows it"

Littlefoot: "I knew it was you from the start!"

Thud: "We were enemies before, how we are going to manage that?"

Light: "I suppose that we need to save your brother before it's too late!"

The Time Keeper: "What you said is right, you will also need everyone here along with the one you lost on this fateful day"

Red Claw: "I was literally their last fight before they fought Sharptooth, I don't know how they are going to manage, there is also the fact that Sharptooth is also needed since one of their friends is here daughter!"

The Time Keeper: "It is still possible, you only need to be with each other, we also lost the Sharpteeth Flyer and the Swimming Sharpteeth chosen to help you"

Light: "Which were?"

The Time Keeper: "They were named Ichy and Dil"

Cera: "Great they died because of us!"

The Time Keeper: "If you knew it you wouldn't have do it, don't you?"

Spike: "Of course! No one deserve such a fate"

Ducky: "How about Rinkus and Sierra?"

The Time Keeper: "These two Flyers are not needed"

Petrie: "That made Petrie sad"

The Time Keeper: "However to lose time is to lose much"

Light: "I was worried about this, I don't like this at all! What is the prize?"

The Time Keeper: "Only a couple can go, the rest will stay and this timeline will stop to exist, everything that has happen so far you will lose it, only the memories will stay"

Sky: "So who is going then?"

The Time Keeper: "I will tell their names, Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, Petrie, Chomper, Ruby, Tippy, Strike and Light will go the others will stay"

Grandma Longneck: "What they need to do there?"

The Time Keeper: "That will come later, before I must tell you again that to lose time is to lose much, there is another prize you will pay if you do that.

Littlefoot: "Tell us please"

The Time Keeper: "If you take this path the cost will be the memories of your childhood days"

Cera: "What's that suppose to mean?"

The Time Keeper: "Upon entering the Great Valley for the first time and upon meeting your family in this timeline you will disappear in front of them, when each Cold Times have passed you will arrived with Light the day he arrived to ask your help however these will be husk of yourself, they will not talk, they will not have your color and they will be wearing something on their heads to hide their face, you will truly return when you are your respective age right now the day before you travel in the world of Light and his friends"

Suddenly they realize why they woke up where they were that day, it was because they have already technically accepted to do it at least not just yet.

Light: "This is the reason why this day was strange!"

The Time Keeper: "It has shows you what will happen if you accept, everyone will forget who you are for real this time"

Littlefoot: "So no matter what we do we lose something"

The Time Keeper: "Time is a thing that shouldn't be touch, prize need to be paid to be able to use it"

Light: "If we accept what is our mission?"

The Time Keeper: "Littlefoot needs to save his mother life, he however need her to be reunited with her parents by any way possible, he is also the one that will tell his past self the way to the Great Valley"

Light: "Harsh for him then"

The Time Keeper: "Cera needs to find a way to convince her mother to continue following Grandpa Longneck & Grandma Longneck herd, she will find true happiness in the Great Valley with a new Threehorn while her father will keep her older brother and her two older sisters"

Cera: "If that made my dad happy then its fine, he will meet Tria anyway!"

The Time Keeper: "Spike needs to save his family from the attack after the Great Earthshake, it was during this fight that they lost their life, Ducky and the others was to far to hear it when it happens, he will hear Grandpa Longneck & Grandma Longneck far in the distance and will tell them to follow them"

Spike: "So my family died the day I was born"

The Time Keeper: "Ducky needs to convince her family to follow Grandpa Longneck & Grandma Longneck herd despite them missing Ducky"

Saurala: "Hold on a second! No dinosaur tells us that it was Grandpa Longneck upon seeing us… right?"

The Time Keeper: "These two events are true, right now they are struggling in your memory until one is chosen"

Ducky: "This is complicated! It is! It is!"

The Time Keeper: "Petrie needs to expose the true nature of his uncle, this will lead to the same event he does afterward, he will also be the one to make him lost and how he will become in the future"

Petra: "Oh sky! So it was himself that did all that to his past self"

The Time Keeper: "Chomper will need to reunite her mother with his father, which in turn will made him in the process along with the event in his life, he will need to reunite them at the area where his friends found him"

Nora: "I never any other Sharpteeth! I was hunting that day…wait did i? I don't remember!"

The Time Keeper: "Again both of these events are true, only one will stay though while the other will be erased"

The Time Keeper: "Ruby needs to guide her family and her past self in their home from the Mysterious Beyond named Hanging Rock"

Ovi: "We were traveling just the three of us but now that you said this, I remember something like that happening, I suppose it's like the others"

The Time Keeper: "Tippy will need to return ask her father between the time she ask about the Exceptional Spiketail until the time she woke up in the Secret Caverns, even I don't know the exact day"

Tippy: "So that's why I remember this all of the sudden"

The Time Keeper: "Strike needs to convince his father and his mate along with his pas self to follow the way toward the Great Valley, they will be reunited with Grandpa Longneck & Grandma Longneck herd on the way there"

Strike: "I will still pay the prize and live in the Mysterious Beyond almost all my life still but at least my parents will be alive! My father was very stubborn! He will only listen to someone who can beat him"

The Time Keeper: "And finally Light you will be brought back before our first discussion where I give you what you needed, upon arriving in this world you will know each term for their world, like I said before you will need to bring the husk of the courageous ones and manage to let them live in the valley by any means, it will be more complicated than the first time, upon returning in your world you will return here to stop the death of Ozzy, upon returning in your world once again you will need to find the monster you offer them that fateful day but before you will also come back before Ichy and Dil were killed, lastly you will stop Screech death"

Light: "It's a lot to do, I already did some of it though so no problem"

The Time Keeper: "Which choice do you choose then? Stay here and live with your family having memory of your childhood? Or do you accept to save the ones you lost from the past and the present at the cost of these happy memories?"

Littlefoot and his friends along with Light are now between a wall and a hard place! What will they choose? Find out….now!

Littlefoot: "We accept!"

The Time Keeper: "I will tell you everything I know then, Ali, Tippy will be the only ones who will remember each day you passed with them however they are not allowed to say anything until the day where you all go to the world of Light and his friends Strike, Tyra, Aqua, Saphir and Sky will also remember each day they passed with you but like before they are not allowed to say anything"

The Time Keeper: "Finally you can't tell who you are to your parents if you do you will be erased from the time itself, you can tell them however it cost a prize for them to be still alive along with your reunion on the day you travel in the world of Light and his friends, also the Sword of Light will not make his way with you along with the powers given to you Littlefoot, do you understand?"

Littlefoot: "I do"

Littlefoot, his friends along with Tippy, Strike and Light made their way toward the Time Sphere, upon seeing that Saurala said to her adoptive son with tears in her eyes.

Saurala: "Wait Spike! I want you to know that despite that we will not remember you anymore and that your true family will live inside the valley, I want you to try to reunite your true family and us as a big family"

Then Saurolo said to his adoptive son with tears in his eyes.

Saurolo: "Adopting you was the greatest gift we could have got, promise me and promise your mother that you will try everything you can to made it possible"

Spike looks at them and said with tears in his eyes.

Spike: "I will!"

Light: "Well there is no turning back from this, Littlefoot do it when you feel it"

Littlefoot grabs the Sword of Light from his back and put in his mouth, he then made a step closer to the Time Sphere and made a diagonal strike against it which broke the Sword of Light upon impact, each second that pass the room become brighter and brighter, Strut and Thud made a step closer to see more of it, suddenly rays of light came out the shattered Time Sphere which touch everyone that have been chosen, unfortunately two ray of light touch Strut and Thud by accident because of their curiosity, with that done this entire timeline was erased in the blink of an eye.

Wow, it's the only word I can say after typing this, Sharptooth got redemption, Chomper and Tyra along with the Halftooth became permanent member of the Great Valley, the passage with Spike and his adoptive parents is amazing, the fight between Sharptooth and Deathir was narrated because I wanted to be like this, it's almost too bad that no one will remember this except a few of them.
