Day 7 (One week) – Since Chopper went missing – (4:47pm) 25 hours and 17 minutes later…

In the Middle of the Bush

After resting all day yesterday, the gang had been on the move all day and were currently following Ryan still.

"Are you sure this is the way you meant to come?" asked Bianca as they were walking up another ridge.

"Yeah, we had to back track there for a while because of the gulley, but we're heading in the right direction." Ryan replied from the front of the group "Let's just get to the top of the…"

Ryan stopped speaking as he looked around and realised, they were pretty much back where they started.

"Does this area look familiar to anyone?" Rocco asked as he looked around.

"That's because it is!" Belle exclaimed as she threw her bag onto the ground in anger "It's the same ridge we were on two hours ago!"

"Looks like you led us in a full circle, idiot!" Colby laughed as he realised what Ryan had done.

"YOU IDIOT!" Belle yelled at him as Kyle tried to calm her down.

"I'm sorry guys." Ryan said without looking at them.

"NO! WHY COULDN'T YOU HAVE JUST LISTENED TO COLBY IN THE FIRST PLACE?" Rocco shouted at the pilot.

Trying to calm everyone down and with a smirk on his face, Colby says: "Ok, let's not get excited. Look from now on, we'll just stick to my way unless someone else wants a chance at playing hero?"

"You know if we had just stuck with the chopper in the first place…" Ryan started to explain.

"Yeah, well we didn't idiot so just get over it." Colby said to him.

Not liking the fact that Colby still wasn't using his name, Ryan decided to remind him what it was: "My name is Ryan."

"Guys! Guys!" Bianca shouted at them in hopes they'd stop and listen to her "Come on, it's getting late and everyone is tired. I vote we just kip here for the night."

"Yeah me to." Kyle said as he couldn't be bothered to walk anymore.

"Fine." Colby said as they all started to put their bags on the ground "At least we are familiar with the area."

Ryan doesn't say anything instead he opts to just glare at Colby.

Walking over to Bianca, Belle says: "Bianca, can I have another painkiller?"

"No, you've had your ration for the day." Bianca reminds the teen after she had it this morning.

"Please, I won't be able to sleep."

Sighing and not wanting to deal with another teenage temper tantrum after Xavier decided to start arguing with Colby this morning over making sure the fire was out, Bianca gave her the painkiller and said: "Here."

"Thank you." Belle said then places the tablet in her mouth.

Once Belle had walked away, Bianca starts to rub her wrist in pain. As she did that Rocco was watching her and realised the painkiller, she had just given Belle was her own ration for the day.

(6:58pm) 2 hours and 11 minutes later…

Summer Bay – Surf Club – Angelos

For the last two days no one had been able to talk to both Ricky and Brax as they had been busy either with Heath or working. So, now everyone was currently gathered in the restaurant and were talking about what the bank said.

"So, they knocked us back." Ricky started to say as everyone looked at her.

"Your kidding?" Alf said to her "Did you tell them what you wanted it for?"

"We told them and although they were highly sympathetic, they were unable to help." Ricky replied as she took a sip of her water.

"Flamin' mongrels." Alf said in response.

Johnny who had been sat beside Sally at one of the tables questioned: "So, what was the problem?"

Brax decided he would answer this question: "Oh, they said they didn't think that we could match their repayments."

"Yeah but you own this place and you own part of the Gym?" Irene said as she listened to reason behind the bank's decision "Which are both successful businesses."

"Well not successful enough apparently. They weren't willing to take the risk." Brax sighed.

"Not much point in me going over there then." Alf said as if the bank didn't think the gym and the restaurant were successful enough then they definitely wouldn't think the juice bar downstairs was.

"God, me neither." Irene said as she put her hand to her face and shook her head.

Willow who had been sat listening to what everyone was saying, suddenly had an idea: "Maybe if we pulled our money? I've got a few grand that I was saving for a deposit."

"Yeah actually, I've got a couple of investments I could cash in." Alf remembers as Willow starts talking about her money.

"Thank you but my brother has already offered as well as Cheryl." Ricky said knowing neither of them had any money to spare "From what I can tell, our combined savings together would barely cover a day."

"There must be someone in this town who's cashed up and wants to help." Dean said out loud.

That's when Leah had a light bulb moment and said: "Hang on, maybe there is."

Meanwhile…

Summer Bay – Yabbie Creek – Northern Districts Hospital – Heath's Room

"I totally thought I'd blown it that day." Heath said to his brother and April as he talked about Bianca "I was so mad."

"I tried to warn you." April laughed as she listened to her brother in law "Pretending that you're not into marriage to get a girl to marry you, doesn't make sense."

"Yeah well I still haven't had a brilliant idea ever stop me." Heath says as both teens laughed at him.

"What ideas?" Casey said trying to keep laughing going which just earned him a look.

April who had stopped laughing suddenly said: "She really loves you; you know?"

"Yeah I know." Heath said as he noticed both teens suddenly look at the time on the clock "Have you both got to get going?"

"Well, if we don't catch this bus, there's not going to be another one till eight." Casey pointed out to him "Plus, Brax said I still needed to work on my homework."

"Yeah and Irene really doesn't need anyone else to worry about right now." April also said to him.

Heath just looked at them and smiled.

"But before we go, is there anything we can get you?" April checked with him as she stood up.

"Yeah, a switch to turn off my brain." Heath says causing a look of confusion from the pair "Sorry, it's just being in here by myself everything just keeps going around and around in my head. I think about the wedding, the fire, Peter and then I start to worry about Bianca."

And Kyle, Casey just thinks to himself not wanting to interrupt Heath.

Shaking his head, Heath tells them: "Just forget it, it's not your problem."

April just looks at Casey and he nods his head: "You know Heath, we never did get to tell you what happened while we were enjoying Casey's birthday yesterday."

"Yeah, fancy hearing how boring it was?" Casey asked him.

"Go on then." Heath smiled as the two teens sat back down and Casey sent a quick text to Brax asking him to pick them both up a bit later.
