(A/N) I'm glad that many of you all liked the pairing of Tatsumi and Chelsea. I know that I've received questions regarding whether or not Lubbock will be with Najenda. I know the answer and it will be a secret for a while.

Chapter 37 Kill the sisterly feud

(The Streets of the Capital)

It is just another day in the Capital and everything is relatively calm. There are a good number of soldiers who is doing more patrols than normal. Even though the soldiers don't know why the number of guards increased in the past few weeks. It doesn't change the fact that a good number of the locations have increased security. Due to the increased number of guards, many significant people in the Empire walk around freely with both confidence and fearlessness.

"Things have been quite stable here in the Capital. I think I'll make an extra trip to the brothel today. I hope they have my special tools ready." One of the nobles said while casually walking through the streets

"Sir, are you sure it's a good time for you to be enjoying the brothel at this time? The guards are on high alert and there's even a few rumors of Raiden's return." The Assistant to the Nobles said in a cautious tone

"That is why you have much to learn. The guards are here due to an executive order by both the Emperor and the Prime Minister. The don't care about what I do, as long as I keep the money coming. Then he won't care about what I do, as long as I don't interfere with General Esdeath. As for your concerns regarding Raiden, they are merely rumors and not facts." The Noble told his assistant before the both of them heard a brief cackling sound.

The Noble and his surrounding guards looked around and were visibly on guard. Some of them think it's a few rebels who were lucky enough to get into the Capital. While some were cautiously aware of the fact that it may be a few people who hate the nobles. When they looked around, some of them were barely able to a small trail of thunder. While all of them were on guard, the Noble made an attempt to run to somewhere safe.

Though before he got too far, several trails of electricity started to rapidly appear around the men. Once the electric trail started to become more noticeable, they all started to run but it was too late for them. Raiden proceeded to rapidly slash each of them and effortlessly cut them into little pieces.

"Please Raiden, if you let me live. I can give you as many slave girls as you wa. . . . ." The Noble said before Raiden cut him in half

"Otacon, I got my target and this makes the fourth one so far. How's Akame doing with her targets?" Raiden asked over CODEC

"She just got finished with a couple of military officials Raiden. Has any alerts been raised yet on your end?" Hal asked Raiden

"No alerts, the number of guards hasn't increased yet so the Empire has no idea that we're killing the Prime Minister's favorite officials. While also disrupting their chain of command and resource management." Raiden responded to Hal

"That's good, I think you'll still be able to keep this up for at least 30 more minutes. Fighting either Yashan, Esdeath, or Vamp this soon wouldn't be a good idea. Since they'll have the numbers on their sides. Not to mention that it won't be too long until someone catches wind of these deaths. The sooner the both of you are done the better." Hal told Raiden over CODEC

"Which reminds me, Akame did you run into any problems when dealing with your targets?" Raiden asked Akame over the comm

"I've eliminated several of my listed targets. I'm currently going towards my next target before they get the chance to leave." Akame said as she was in pursuit of her next target

"You have the right idea, the next target I have is closer to the Palace. Once you get your target leave the Capital immediately. I doubt the empire will keep quiet once they see me." Raiden told Akame

"Understood, I will pick up speed in order to pursue the target. Thanks to the nanomachines I have, it feels like I can fight Esdeath." Akame told Raiden and Hal over the comm

"It's good that you've adjusted to your new strength. But you shouldn't let yourself get carried away. Remember even if you have either a cybernetic body or enhancement nanomachines. It doesn't mean that your invincible, you'll be surprised at how many times I came close to death despite my enhancements." Raiden told Akame over the comm

"You'll have to tell me about those times later. I see my target and I must not let him escape me. I'll see you back at the HQ." Akame said before she started to pursue her target

(The Imperial Grounds)

It didn't take Raiden too long for him to get to the Imperial Palace. What helped him significantly is that he's been there before and he has a good understanding of how to get in and out. This time though, the number of guards has significantly increased and Raiden has to be much more cautious. Especially since there is a good chance that he could find himself facing off against all of the major threats. Fighting one of them by himself is possible, but if he is to fight Esdeath, Vamp, and Yashan at the same time. Then his chances of success or better yet survival would not be very high.

"Otacon, I've made it into the Palace." Raiden told Hal over CODEC

"That's good Raiden, remember just go in, take care of your target and come back. From what Najenda has heard and told us. The number of guards has increased in the palace because of everything that's been happening. Most likely due to the collaboration with World Marshal. Or which is the most likely reason, they don't want to risk you ruining everything." Hal briefly explained to Raiden

"Can't really blame them, every time I sneak in here, I always manage to raise a fuss. If it wasn't for the fact that I could be fighting Esdeath, Vamp, and Yashan. I would kill the Prime Minister myself. I should have done it when I first came here." Raiden told Hal

"You had no idea with what you're up against when you first arrived here in this world Raiden. For all you knew at the time, they could have prepared a mini-nuke and you would've been as good as dead. I know how you feel about this Raiden, there's always something in the way that stops you from ending things quickly. Do they really have a kid as an Emperor?" Hal asked Raiden in a curious and concerned tone

"Yeah, and that fucking Prime Minister is manipulating him. From what I've heard, the kid thinks he's being a tough but fair Emperor. But if he doesn't wake up to the reality of what he's doing. Then he's going to pay a heavy price once everything is settled. It pisses me off knowing that the Prime Minister is doing as he pleases. While knowing that the kid is going to suffer for it." Raiden said while barely able to contain his rage

"Just hearing about it is making me mad, but that's why you're doing the things you do Raiden. I've heard how you went against World Marshal when they were using the brains of kids and making them into soldiers. Once everything is done with the Rebellion, what do you think will happen to the Emperor?" Hal asked Raiden

"I have some ideas but we'll cross that bridge when we get to it." Raiden said as he was going deeper into the Palace while avoiding the guards

As Raiden was getting deeper into the Palace. He started to notice that the number of guards is slowly dwindling making the cyborg suspicious. From Raiden's experience, going to a well-known area with little to no security has all the telltale signs of a trap. Raiden is tempted to leave the Palace and call it a day. But this could also be his chance to kill some more significant people. As Raiden went even deeper, he started to notice an individual sitting on a bench in the courtyard. When Raiden got closer, he took a better look at the person and realized that it's a corpse.

"Damn, trap it is then." Raiden said before he started to quickly block and deflect several sharp feathers that were launched at him. When Raiden saw where the feathers came from, he quickly saw the reanimated Run and knew just who was close.

"Who was the one to help you set this trap Kurome?" Raiden said before Kurome walked into the courtyard and faced Raiden.

"There were some people within the Empire that conspired against the Prime Minister and the Emperor. We figured that the conspirators would be useful for luring you or Night Raid. Since you're here, then that means the idea is a good one." Kurome said in a pleased tone

"Raiden, I heard the whole thing. I've already told Akame about the trap and she's already on her way to leave the Capital. You have no reason to stay there, just leave and don't risk things getting worse." Hal told Raiden in a worried tone while listening through CODEC

"This is a good opportunity for me then Kurome. I can at the very least bring you in." Raiden said before he proceeded to charge towards Kurome.

When Raiden got close, the reanimated Run fired a barrage of sharp feathers at him. Reacting quickly, Raiden was able to dodge a good number of the feathers and deflect the rest with ease. After he deflected the feathers, Raiden quickly dashed to Kurome with the hopes to knock her out in one move. Unfortunately, before Raiden got close to Kurome, an armored figure was able to land a surprise attack against Raiden and knock him to the side. When Raiden looked to see who attacked him, he saw that it was Wave who was in his armored teigu.

"I doubt Esdeath is the kind of person to forgive insubordination easily. So what did you do to him for him to be alive and well?" Raiden asked in a curious tone

"Wave is still a valued and trusted comrade, but it would be a stretch to say that he's still alive and well." Kurone said to Raiden with a smirk

"You . . . . you reanimated him didn't you?" Raiden asked in a demanding tone

"Of course, now that he's a part of my collection. Soon my sister will be added and we'll be happily reunited as a family." Kurome said before the reanimated Wave attacked Raiden with a strong direct punch.

Raiden was able to block the attack with ease, but quickly realized that Wave has gotten significantly stronger due to being reanimated. After blocking the punch, Raiden quickly kicked Wave to the side and managed to move him away. Once Wave was away, he quickly avoided an incoming sword attack from Kurome. After avoiding the sword attack, Raiden made an attempt to grab her arm and knock her down to make her unconscious. Unfortunately, before Raiden could do anything, the reanimated Run started to shoot several sharp feathers at Raiden. Forcing him to quickly move away from Kurome and prevent himself from getting hurt.

Raiden, if you keep fighting her like this. You'll eventually bring more attention to yourself and make it much harder to escape." Hal warned Raiden over CODEC

"Your right Otacon, but I can't just leave empty handed." Raiden told Hal while he was blocking the hits from Reanimated Wave and Run, along with Kurome.

"Don't tell me your thinking of escaping Raiden. The General made it clear that your capture is to be a top priority. So that once I kill you, you can be a part of my collection and an essential part of the Empire." Kurome told Raiden before she tried to attack Raiden again.

Only for Raiden to kick her away and sent Wave away with a blast of his electric gauntlet teigu. Once the reanimated Wave was sent away, Raiden decided to leap to the reanimated Run and deliver a barrage of slash attacks against him. The attacks were strong enough to disable his wings and brought him down. After the reanimated Run was disabled, Raiden quickly made his way to attack Kurome once again and the two clashed swords against each other.

"I've received the gifts of your homeland as well as General Esdeath has Raiden. So you'll see that I won't fall to your strength so easily. With this strength, I can easily take on my sister and add her to my collection." Kurome said in a calm tone while maintain the clash. Before Raiden could easily push her back, the reanimated Wave quickly launched himself to Raiden and was able to push him further back away from Kurome.

"I . . . . . will protect . . . . . her." The reanimated Wave said to Raiden

"Your fighting her control?" Raiden said before he was able to push the reanimated Wave away from him. After Raiden pushed him away, he turned to Kurome

"Wave's will is a lot stronger than you think Kurome. Maybe you can learn a thing or two from him if you want to have a chance at beating me." Raiden told Kurome

"I've learned that his will is misguided and that it led to him betraying us. But now that he's added to my collection, his weakness will soon be cleansed. Him being able to resist Yatsufusa's ability is admittedly unexpected. But in time, it will not matter. Especially once I bring my darling sister under my control." Kurome said in a satisfied tone to Raiden

"I know about the Empire's plan to collaborate with World Marshal. I'm doing everything to prevent things from getting worse for you. Once things begin, there's no guarantee that either you or Akame will be able to survive. If you don't leave this behind, your going to regret it for the rest of your life if you survive." Raiden told Kurome trying to convince her to leave the Empire. Only for her to chuckle at the fact that Raiden is trying so hard to persuade her

"Hehehehehe, you know General Esdeath told me of your concerned past as a child soldier. Your just like me and my dear sister, you just refuse to accept it. But you are right about one thing. Once everything begins, it will be much more difficult for me and Akame to settle things between us. So pass on a message to my dear sister. Tell her that if she's set on settling things between us. Then she needs to meet me at the old church tonight at midnight. Don't bother trying to set a trap, because only her and I know the exact location." Kurome said before she stepped aside and allowed Raiden to leave which he did so

"Raiden, are you certain your not going to keep trying?" Hal asked Raiden

"The guards will be coming to the Palace soon and I'm in no position to keep fighting if I have to take Vamp or Esdeath into consideration. Besides, if I pass along this message, it might be my best and only chance to settle things on my terms. I'll pass along the message, but I need to work fast. Akame knows I want to save her sister, but she's fully prepared to kill her sister." Raiden told Hal over CODEC

"A mentality like that is honestly frightening. I can't imagine myself being willing to kill Emma. Despite the distance that was between us before Vamp . . . ." Hal aid before Raiden interrupted him

"I know Otacon, I'll try to find a way." Raiden said as he was leaving the Capital

(Moments Later)

"I can't say that I'm surprised that the trap has failed. Though what disappoints me in all of this is that Raiden still insists on not killing you due to his beliefs." General Esdeath told Kurome while they were in a private room

"He greatly underestimates my loyalty to the Empire. If he believes that he can convince me to betray my comrades like my sister has tried to do." Kurome told General Esdeath

"Given the kind of past that he had, it's really hard to blame him." Yashan said as she was entering the room

"I have heard from General Esdeath that he was a child soldier. Is that his sole motivation for doing the things he's done?" Kurome asked in a curious tone

"That's part of it Kurome, an old soldier named Solid Snake has proved to be an interesting influence on him. After a few years, Raiden started to follow his own sense of justice. He even went as far as to declare war against World Marshal because we had a plan that would involve the creation of many child soldiers. Who if given enough time and training, could be as strong as Akame. While also being the first of many steps to utilizing a new war economy." Yashan told both Kurome and General Esdeath

"It excites me to think about how things would've turned out if Raiden hadn't interfered with your plans. An unfortunate result of him being tied down by his shackles. As soon as I get the chance, I'll make it a top priority to remove the beings that's holding back Raiden. Once I do that, he will give me a truly worthy battle and no longer have nothing holding him back." General Esdeath said in an excited tone

"I have been meaning to ask you this General. Why is it your so adamant on not only allowing Raiden of all people to live? But also go further and remove the things that's in your own words, holding him back?" Yashan asked in a curious tone

"My dream is to create an Eternal War. Create an era where only the strong shall thrive and the weak will perish. War loses its spark and ends abruptly, when one side is very much weak and is defeated. My Eternal War shall ensure that all sides are strong and will never end." General Esdeath explained to Yashan

"I understand your dream General, but how does that answer my question regarding Raiden?" Yashan asked the General

"Patience Yashan, I was getting to the point of your question. Very few people in the world can cross blades with me. With General Budo dead, that list has dwindled significantly. Aside from you, Vamp, Akame, and my dear Tatsumi nobody could hold there against me." General Esdeath said before she continued

"But then, Raiden himself has come along and changed everything. When I fought against his true self back at the canyon, I realized that he was able to match me easily while holding himself back. Showing me that while I am strong, there is still much I need to improve on as a warrior. Then to further add to the intrigue that is Raiden, he was able to best General Budo and soon after that he claim a second teigu. Something that I must admit that I can't do under any circumstances." General Esdeath explained to Yashan before speaking further

"That warrior has managed to surpass every expectation I have of him and still finds a way to intrigue me. Which baffles me to know that due to his anchors, he is holding himself back and could be a much more deadly force. Which I find more intriguing than it is insulting." General Esdeath explained to Yashan

"But you were given nanomachines to help you get stronger. Don't you believe that would be enough to bridge the gap between the two of you?" Yashan asked the General

"It did, but I feel that he is sill able to fight me and match me with my nanomachines and teigu abilities. When my Eternal War begins, I want Raiden to be the one true worthy threat to me. So that when we have our fight to the death. It will be as glorious and memorable as I hope and more. He will either be a worthy challenge for the fight to the death. Or a worthy adversary for my Eternal War." General Esdeath finished explaining to Yashan

"A good portion of his body is cybernetic, doesn't that bother you?" Yashan asked in a curious tone

"His cybernetic body is no different than me and my teigu. As I've understood from the files you've showed me. Raiden has earned his nickname from the very beginning as a child before his cybernetics. Which further proves his true strength that must not be disregarded. A worthy challenge, or a glorious war, either way I have no doubt that Raiden will grant me either of them. Though if he is to fall by my hands, the rest of the Eternal War will carry on in my image but strengthened in his memory." Esdeath explained in a satisfied tone to Yashan

"Interesting reasoning General, I look forward to seeing you strive to make your ambitions a reality." Yashan told General Esdeath in a tone full of praise

"General, the reason I've come here is to inform you that I'll be leaving for a personal matter." Kurome said getting General Esdeath's attention

"It must be quite urgent an urgent matter if it requires your personal attention Kurome." General Esdeath told Kurome

"It is urgent General, it's a chance for me to finally settle things with my sister. This is quite frankly my best and only chance to add her to my collection. While also remove a crucial member of Night Raid while giving us a beter chance to fight against Raiden." Kurome said quickly getting the attention of General Esdeath and Yashan

"This is an interesting development, but are you certain that it's not a trap set up by Night Raid?" General Esdeath asked

"The location is something that only me and Akame knows of General Esdeath. If the worst case scenario occurs, I can escape easily. Since I know for certain that Raiden won't allow me to get killed." Kurome responded to the General

"I understand that this is an important matter to you Kurome. But in good consciousness I can't let you go out and face her carelessly. Even though we gave you the nanomachines after the Prime Minister and the Emperor returned. Akame has still proved to be stronger than most other people in the Empire. That fact was evident even before Raiden became a factor." General Esdeath told Kurome in a slightly concerned tone

"Then how about we send Saeke to keep watch over Kurome? His tracking and stealth skills is exceptional and he'll be able to make sure that she won't be caught in any traps." Yashan suggested to the General causing her to think for a moment

"I supposed it would be best to send him. The Shadow Squad is closely guarding that incompetent idiot Syura. So once the time for the collaboration comes, his teigu will be fully charged and ready for use. Vamp is out with my forces and won't return for a few more days. Suzuka is still guarding the Prime Minister and you as well as myself is overseeing the defenses of the Palace. Given the circumstances Saeke is the best one to watch over Kurome. Under the condition that Saeke doesn't interfere, Kurome will finally be able to settle things with her sister and if she's victorious. We will have a powerful addition to our forces. But if Raiden or the members of Night Raid interferes. Then Saeke will be able to even the odds and maybe kill them." General Esdeath explained to Yashan with Kurome listening

"Thank you for giving me this chance General." Kurome said in a humble tone

"I'll inform Saeke of his mission and tell him to not interfere as long as its just Kurome fighting against Akame. Personally I would prefer to just have Saeke and Kurome team up against Akame. But seeing as though this is a personal matter, there must be some measure of honor." Yashan said voicing her thoughts on the situation

(Rebellion HQ)

Once both Raiden and Akame returned to the revolutionary army HQ, the both of them informed Najenda of everything that happened. It was good news that the targets on the list has been quickly dealt with. The bad news is that one of them unfortunately turned out to be a trap and it was fortunate that Raiden was able to escape. Even though it was expected that something could have gone wrong. The fact that there were no other major hurdles and that the targets were dealt with. Is more than enough to consider this to be a victory for the Rebellion.

"Its nice to have a successful mission, given the date for the plan of attack is getting closer. We all could use every victory that we can get. Since the crucial time of attack is approaching for the Revolutionary Army, we won't be getting any more missions. We're at the final push for this." Najenda told both Raiden and Akame

"Not surprised, from what I was able to learn from Kurome is that there's some infighting going on within the Empire. Them not having their head on straight will give us some breathing room if we play our cards right. Besides, this will give a lot of us a chance to settle our personal matters, so we won't get distracted. Because anything can happen at times like this." Raiden told Najenda with her giving a quick nod in agreement

"I agree, we should spend as much time as we can getting stronger. Physically, mentally, and spiritually, so that we will be at our best for when the time comes." Najenda said to the two

"Boss, how is Tatsumi's condition?" Akame asked in a concerned tone

"His body is adjusting to the form. But the problem is that he only has four transformations left in him. A part of me wants him to not push himself but given the circumstances. . . . ." Najenda said hesitantly before Raiden spoke up

"That's why I'm here boss, this breather is a chance for him to heal until the final push for the Rebellion. So I'll be sure to do a bit of extra work so that you all can keep this breather you have." Raiden said to Najenda

"I appreciate the enthusiasm but you don't need to push yourself either Raiden. Don't forget, you have to look out for Janey and you have your own family to get back to. Don't worry, we haven't forgotten about the teleportation teigu. But its going to take some time for us to coordinate a plan to retrieve it." Najenda told Raiden

"I know boss, we just don't know enough to think of a plan. Me, Hal, and Wolf staying in these lands isn't too bad. But we still have a home to go back to. Not to mention, I need to get back to my own war." Raiden told Najenda while receiving a sideways look from Akame

"That sounds like an interesting mission to hear about. The both of you can go, I still need to over a few more things." Najenda said dismissing Raiden and Akame

"Before I forget, Akame I need to talk to you about something later on in private." Raiden said with Akame nodding in agreement

"Understood." Akame responded while leaving out with Raiden

(Moments Later)

"What did you want to speak with me about Raiden?" Akame asked in a curious tone

"While I was fighting against Kurome, she wanted me to pass on a message to you. She said that if you want to settle things between the two of you. Then you need to meet her at the old church at midnight tonight." Raiden told Akame

"I see, then the time to settle this has come." Akame said before she started to walk away. Before she went too far, Raiden stopped her

"Hold it, you can't just take that message at face value. What if it's a trap for you to come and get captured or killed?" Raiden told Akame

"Then you can come with me and observe. But you must not interfere between me and my sister." Akame said before Raiden stopped her again

"Akame, I can't in good consciousness let you kill her, knowing full well that not only she's your sister and also a kid. We both know that there's a way to stop her without killing her. Why are you so adamant on doing it when we both know that I'll do what it takes to save her?" Raiden asked Akame

"I could ask you the same thing Raiden. I know that you have a troubled past as a child soldier. But this is a personal matter regarding family. You told me that you killed your father, so you of all people should understand the necessity of doing what must be done." Akame told Raiden

"There's a big difference between back then and now Akame. Solidus was a full-grown man who was in too deep and knew the full extent of his actions. But Kurome is still a kid who still has a chance to walk away from all of this. For fucks sake, I waged a war against a major world organization because they were going to make soldiers out of little kids and turn them into someone like me. Do you think I'll abandon my own personal beliefs because I'm not home Akame?" Raiden stated causing Akame to get frustrated

"HOW DO YOU THINK I FEEL ABOUT THIS RAIDEN!" Akame told Raiden showing an emotion that is rarely seen before she spoke further

"During the intense training we endured, me and Kurome had each other. When I saw how deep the corruption goes, I did the best I could to bring my sister with me. Yet she refused me and declared me a traitor. Because my sister wasn't as skilled as me, she was injected with all kinds of drugs that enhanced her body and improves her skills and abilities but its slowly but surely started to destroy her body. The Empire sees her as nothing but a weapon and I know that she is in pain. I am fully aware of the pain I will bring myself by killing her. But taking lives is all I know Raiden, I am a monster and I'm prepared to make that sacrifice. But because she is my sister, my own family, it's a burden that I must do myself." Akame told Raiden with a great deal of emotion while holding back her tears

"Akame, if anyone here is a monster its me." Raiden said causing Akame to give him a focused look

"You know that my body is cybernetic, and you also know that I'm a child soldier. What you probably didn't know is that a few years ago I pissed off some very powerful and influential people. They did things to my body I can never forget. So answer me this question Akame. How much of my body is still human?" Raiden asked Akame before he looked her in her eyes with a focused gaze

"I'll tell you, my head and my spine. The face you're looking at is the only part of me left that's still human." Raiden told Akame causing her to have a visibly shocked expression for the first time

"Do you know how it feels to look in the mirror and know that your face and spine is the only claim to your humanity. At one point I was prepared to give up everything for the mission. But Solid Snake, a man who had his own future taken from him inspired me to keep going. While telling me to carve a future for myself, and I did just that. Now the fight continues, and I refuse to let other people know the suffering I have endured. Especially kids who were never even given a choice to begin with. No kid will die under my watch, and I do have a plan. But you have to trust me and do this my way. Can you do that Akame? Or do we need to have a more intense fight so you can see the full extent of my resolve?" Raiden asked Akame while giving her a focused gaze and drawing his sword to emphasize his point further. After a few seconds spent thinking Akame started to speak

"The condition for me to join the revolutionary army is for me to act to my discretion regarding my sister. I've made the decision a long time ago to kill her if she refuses to return. But you're the first person I know who is willing to go above and beyond to save her, Raiden, no matter how you see yourself. You are no monster in my eyes, you're a human being and a precious comrade. If anything, your more human than most of the people I've crossed blades with. Especially if you value life more than me. I am prepared to do what I must, but I do trust you. So how will we go about your plan to save my sister?" Akame said before her and Raiden started to talk about the plan

As Raiden and Akame were talking, Leone was nearby eavesdropping on their conversation. She did it just to be her usual playful self. But hearing the details of Raiden's body shocked Leone more than she expected. After hearing all she could hear, Leone decided to walk away while staying out of sight of anyone

"Damn, Raiden had it worse than I thought." Leone said in a low tone that is mixed with surprised and worry as she was walking away

(The Old Church)

Kurome has made it to the entrance of the old church and it looked just as she remembered it. She didn't have many memories of this specific location. But the only memory that she's attached to is the memories involving her and Akame. Memories that is a reminder of different times, when they knew for certain that they had each other. But over time, the distance grew and those memories became more of a longing with each passing day. Being at the place that is attached to those memories strengthened her resolve to add Akame to her collection.

"You will be added Sister, I will let nothing stand in the way." Kurome said in a slightly satisfied tone. After a few minutes of waiting, Kurome sees a lone figure and when the figure came into the moonlight. Akame saw that it was her dear sister Akame.

Moments later, the sisters stood side by side with each other while looking up at the moonlight. With the both of them sharing in different thoughts about the present and future. Kurome is still feeling the anger about being left behind by her sister and betraying the Empire. Though for Akame, she has her thoughts on the future and is hoping for the best case scenario for the encounter.

"The moonlight looks pretty huh sister?" Kurome said to Akame while looking up at the night sky

"Yes it does Kurome." Akame responded

"I know you didn't come here alone Akame. Just as you know that I didn't come here by myself either. Seeing as though I can't notice his presence, its safe to assume that its Raiden, isn't it?" Kurome asked Akame

"Indeed, I do not feel any killing intent. So who is it?" Akame asked in a curious tone

"It's Yashan's last subordinate, he knows not to interfere as well." Krome told her sister

"Kurome, its not too late for you to do the right thing and come back. We can go back to the way things were before all of this." Akme told Kurome trying to get her to come back

"You amaze me sister, you know that you're in no position to make any demands and your still trying to get me to come back. You sound just like Raiden, you know. Since you've been his ally for quite some time I have a question for you. Do you know why he's so adamant on bringing me back?" Kurome asked

"Raiden knows our pain all too well and he wants to prevent that." Akame answered

"I see, come on back to the Empire sister. It's the right thing to do and we'll be invincible together." Kurome told Akame

"You know I can't do that Kurome." Akame calmly responded

"I knew you would say that sister. You've always had that stubborn will, but it was also part of your drive to do what must be done. Fighting for a chance to change the world, even if it means forsaking your sister." Kurome said before she gave Akame a focused and sadistic gaze

"I love you more than you think. But at the same time, I can't forgive you for going against me and the Empire. These two dueling thoughts plague my mind sister, But I've already set my mind on killing you and adding you to my collection." Kurome said with a sadistic look on her face

"I should have known that this would happen when I chose this path. This was the very thing Raiden warned me about. But I can't allow myself to hesitate, especially since I've decided to put my trust in Raiden and his promise." Akame thought to herself before she took up a sword stance

"After we've returned from the attack on your hideout. I was granted nanomachines and my strength, skills, and abilities has been greatly enhanced. Though just to be certain of my chances against you. I took a very potent enhancement drug, me being able to kill you is very much within possibility." Kurome said in a confident tone before her and Akame clashed blades

While Kurome and Akame were fighting against each other. Saeke was watching the sisters fight against each other furiously and passionately. It was made clearly to Saeke, that as long as the fight is between the sisters. He is not to interfere under any circumstances in the affairs between the sisters. If Akame succeeds in killing Kurome, then he is to return after he attempts to recover the teigu. Both Yashan and Esdeath understands how important this is for Kurome. Therefore it was easy for Saeke to know that his role is to observe. Stealth and observation is fully within Saeke's capabilities, therefore Yashan knew full well that Saeke was best suited for the task. Since he would be able to observe and would not be at risk. Though before Saeke could observe further, he quickly dodged to the side to avoid an attack. After avoiding the attack, Saeke sees Raiden finishing an attack.

"Jack the Ripper, a person of interest to World Marshal. Who has created many problems for us after killing Senator Armstrong. Killing you would alleviate many problems that World Marshal will face in the long run." Saike said before his face was covered by a metal plate and fired a laser at Raiden.

Reacting quickly, Raiden was able to quickly dodge the laser and made a counterattack by leaping towards Saeke and tried to cut him. Unfortunately, Saeke was able to dodge the attack with ease and proceeded to rapidly kick Raiden in the chest. The rapid kick was successful in pushing back Raiden and Saeke followed up with another laser blast and was able to hit Raiden. The veteran cyborg was able to endure the attack but had to cartwheel to the side repeatedly. So he can avoid getting hurt further. After avoiding more attacks, Raiden was able to stop and tried to look at Saeke, but he disappeared.

After Saeke disappeared, Raiden activated his infrared sight functions and tried to look for Saeke. Unfortunately, he couldn't find him and spent some time looking for the enemy cyborg. After a few seconds were spent looking, Raiden was hit with a small barrage of energy blasts and was staggered for a few seconds. Raiden was able to recover quickly from being staggered and looked to see where the blast came from. Unfortunately, Raiden didn't see Saeke and changed his visors to several other settings he could think of but still couldn't find Saeke.

"Otacon, I've tried every setting I could think of but I can't find Saeke." Raiden told Hal over CODEC

"Saeke has been given the latest in advance cutting edge tech that makes his stealth undetectable. The only way you can catch him on radar is if you have his frequency, given the circumstances its safe to say that its not an option. Not to men tion, stealth is he specialty and since its nighttime. He's in his natural element which puts you at a disadvantage. It's like Snake's fight against Crying Wolf all over again. It's going to take more than your tracking skills and cybernetic if you want to be able to hurt him or better yet kill him." Hal responded

"Stealth specialists have always been a real pain to fight. Especially at night when there in their natural element. But using the environment might tip things in my favor." Raiden told Hal over CODEC before he focused on the fight against Saeke

After speaking with Hal, Raiden decided to jump to the top of a nearby tree and decided to calmly and patiently look around and paid attention to the general area. As Raiden was looking around, he paid closer attention to anything that could give away Saeke's location. After spending a few seconds looking around the forest, Raiden noticed faint movements among the trees. Once Raiden noticed this, he used a good deal of his strength to launch himself from his current position and made a strong slash in the direction he went. After the attack was made, Saeke was able to appear again but this time he lost an arm. Though despite losing an arm, he didn't show any signs of pain after the loss.

"Not a lot of people show indifference to losing a limb. I supposed cybernetic spoiled you a bit huh?" Raiden said before Saeke resumed his earlier tactic while Raiden did the same

(The Sisters Location)

Akame and Kurome has spent a good deal of time fighting each other at an intense and furious speed. Though Akame didn't want to admit it, she noticed that Kurome has gotten much stronger since the last time they fought which is likely due to the nanomachines she was recently given. Though during the intense clash, Akame has noticed that Kurome hasn't called forth her reanimated puppets. Part of Akame thinks its strange that Kurome wouldn't call on her puppets, knowing that it would give her the edge in this fight. On the other hand. This is a chance for Akame to be able to fight Kurome with their own strength and it will in turn make the task of dealing with her sister much easier.

Once a few minutes have passed of the sisters clashing blades against each other. Kurome realizes that she has to change tactics if she wants to have a chance at killing her sister. When Kurome had this realization, she jumped away from Akame and took up a defensive stance. Akame quickly figured out what Kurome was trying to do, so she decided to take the risk and attacked Kurome aggressively. As expected from the sisters, Kurome focused solely on blocking each of Akame's sword attacks. Knowing full well that one cut is all it'll take to end the fight. After blocking a few more sword attacks, Kurome saw an opening and made a move to attack. Fortunately, Akame was able to notice Kurome's attack and managed to gracefully dodge them and kept this up for a few seconds.

After dodging another attack, Akame saw an opening and decided to push Kurome away with a punch to the stomach. The punch was strong enough to send Kurome back a small distance and Akame decided to keep up the aggressive pressure. Reacting quickly, Kurome decided to use the sheath of her sword to block the attacks. While she used her own sword to counterattack whenever she gets the chance. This kept up for a few more seconds until Akame was able to figure out what Kurome was doing and swung her Murasame at Kurome's side, forcing her to defend with Yatsufusa. This is what Akame wanted, since it gave her the chance to kick away the sheath that Kurome was using. Thus removing Kurome's defensive option. Once Kurome lost her sheath she quickly jumped back, since she knew that in terms of close quarters, Akame had the superior advantage due to skill and experience.

Unfortunately for Kurome, Akame quickly closed the distance between the two of them and resumed the aggressive assault. After a few more seconds have passed, Akame was able to break Kurome's guard and was able to make a major opening. After the opening was made, Akame made a move to stab Kurome directly. Befure Akame could land her attack, Yatsufusa glowed and a reanimated Wave appeared and blocked Akame's attack with his armor activated. After Akame's attack was blocked, the reanimated Run soared over the sister and fired several sharp feathers at Akame. Reacting quickly, Akame quickly jumped back to avoid the sharp feathers. The attacks was avoided but now the fight is three against one.

"I haven't seen your puppets act on their own before. It might be possible that their own free will is stronger than your power of control." Akame said before she took up a defensive stance on her own

"This is an entirely new experience for me as well sister. Your teigu has gotten stronger, but I doubt the enhancements will apply to armor teigus like Wave's Grand Chariot." Kurome said before Run proceeded to fire a large amount of sharp feathers at Akame.

Reacting quickly, Akame proceeded to deflect the feathers that was fired at her. After the feathers were deflected, Akame found herself avoiding Wave's various punches and kicks. Once Akame dodged a few more of Wave's attacks. She quickly moved behind him to stay out of his line of sight. After she got behind Wave, Kurome quickly made use of the attack opening and made a forward lunge to stab Akame. Fortunately, Akame was able to narrowly avoid the attack and delivered a swift kick across Kurome's face. As a result, Kurome was knocked to the side. Akame tried to do a follow-up, but she found herself moving away from the reanimated Wave who tried to attack Akame when he had the chance. Akame was able to avoid the attack, but quickly realized that unless something changes with the puppets. Akame will never be able to get close to Kurome. So the red-eyed assassin has to buy as much time as possible until she can think of a plan.

(Raiden's Location)

It has been a very steady and violent clash of cat and mouse between Raiden and Saeke. Since the both of them knows what the other is capable of, their going the extra mile to make sure that they don't slip up. Because one attack is all it'll take to bring the other down. Even though Raiden is much more durable than Saeke, time is something that he doesn't have in abundance and has to find a way to finish this quickly.

Once a few seconds have passed, both Raiden and Saeke moved from their respective positions and clashed against each other. Saeke was able to narrowly avoid Raiden's sword attack. But in turn, Raiden was able to avoid another energy blast from Saeke. Unfortunately, Saeke was able to get to his decapitated arm and was able to reattach his limb to his body and regained his lost arm.

"Just great, all you need to do is attach your limbs to your body. Afterwards, you'll be whole. No wonder you weren't fazed when I cut your arm off." Raiden said before he took up a sword stance.

The second Raiden took up his sword stance, Saeke started to fire his energy blasts aggressively. Each of the blasts were either dodged or deflected, but Raiden new that his options were limited in terms of long range. Raiden knows that he can use Adramalech to deal with the long-ranged attack option. But Raiden doesn't want to risk drawing unnecessary attention to himself. Not to mention that Saeke would be able to dodge the thunder blasts with ease. Since it's been established that Saeke is a very skilled and agile fighter.

Once Saeke's was finished with the energy blasts, Raiden proceeded to dash towards him and made several quick slashes. Unfortunately, Saeke was able to dodge Raiden's flurry of slashes with relative ease. After Saeke dodged all of Raiden's attacks, he blasted Raiden with an energy blast. Raiden was fast enough to avoid the close-up blast. But after avoiding the blast, he found himself pinned down by Saeke. After getting pinned down, the center of Saeke's face started to light up, indicating that Raiden was going to take full-direct blast of energy.

"NOW!" Raiden yelled causing Saeke to have a brief look of confusion. Before Saeke could figure what Raiden's yell meant. Tatsumi deactivated his invisibility and delivered a powerful slash at Saeke's back. Which was able to get him off of Raiden.

How were you able to . . ." Saeke asked sounding confused before Raiden spoke up

"Invisibility is Incursio's trump card, I noticed that as the teigu gets stronger so does the trump card itself. Since Incursio's adapted to modern technology back home. Tatsumi would be able to get past all of your sensors. Since nobody's ever seen anything like a teigu before." Raiden said before Tatsumi delivered another powerful slash hurting Saeke further.

"Never thought you would get help Raiden. Were you so fearful of the outcome between us?" Saeke asked over voice speaker struggling to speak

"Nah, but there's a special reason I'm here and Tatsumi will help me save time. Especially if there's a chance that Esdeath, Vamp, or Yashan would keep watch over Kurome." Raiden responded before

"I . . . . see." Saeke said before he stopped moving entirely

"Let's act quickly Tatsumi, if my hunch is right. Then Yashan will know soon enough that Saeke is dead. Akame should be finishing up her fight soon." Raiden told Tatsumi before they returned to keep an eye on things.

(The Sister's location)

Akame was able to hold her ground remarkably well against Kurome and her two undead puppets. The fact that Kurome was given some enhancement nanomachines did caught Akame by surprise. Fortunately, Thanks to Akame's thorough training and also the enhancement nanomachines that she was given. Akame was able to hold her own and even deal with the current threats. The only person that is giving her some legitimate trouble is Wave. Mainly due to the fact that he's using a fully armored teigu and Akame's sword can't cut through armor easily, despite the enhancements the sword's been given.

A good deal of time has been spent being on the defensive from Wave's attacks. Akame's natural speed and reflexes allows her to avoid Wave's attacks with ease. But As long as Wave is a factor in the fight, she won't be any closer to dealing with Kurome. Making the situation much more problematic, is that Run still continues to attack Akame from a distance.

"I need to deal with Run." Akame thought to herself before she jumped back to make space between the two.

After Akame jumped back, Run started to fire a large barrage of sharp feathers at her. Reacting like earlier, Akame was able to skillfully deflect the feathers away from her. This time though, the sharp feathers were skillfully aimed and redirected at both Kurome and Run. Wave acted quickly and blocked the redirected feathers. Run on the other hand, activated his teigus trump card and redirected the feathers back at Akame once again.

Fortunately, Akame was fully prepared for the redirected feathers and redirected them once again at Kurome. Driven by instincts, Wave stood his ground and protected Kurome from the feathers. This was what Akame wanted, since while Wave was defending Kurome, she managed to jump on top of him and used him as a stepping stool to jump up high enough to get to Run. While Akame was close to Run, she proceeded to deliver a strong slash attack that Run couldn't avoid in time. Once Akame landed, Run soon fell to the ground with his body decaying very quickly.

"I was informed of Run's capabilities and planned things accordingly. When Run redirects an attack, his actions becomes very limited and that was my chance to attack. Thanks to the enhancements that was made to my teigu, your puppets will decay from a single cut." Akame told Kurome before Run decayed completely, leaving behind only his teigu

"I see, your still as clever as ever my dear sister." Kurome said in a proud tone before both her and Wave started to charge towards her.

Akame decided to focus on being on the defensive so that she could be able to handle both the armored Wave and her sister. The defensive tactic is useful initially, but Akame knows that she can't keep this up forever. After a few seconds has passed with being on the defensive. Akame was able to narrowly avoid Kurome's sword attack and delivered a quick kick to her stomach. Though Kurome was able to be knocked back by the kick. This left Akame open to be attacked by Wave. Fortunately, Akame was aable to avoid the punch and managed to run closer to Kurome.

After Akame moved closer to Kurome, Wave attempted to deliver another attack. This time, Akame was able to notice this and wanted to test something out. Before Wave's attack could get closer, Akame decided to swiftly move behind Kurome and allow her to be in the way of Wave's attack. Before the punch could reach Kurome, Wave forced himself to stop so he wouldn't hurt Kurome. This surprised Kurome for a brief moment, but it was all Akame needed. Because once Wave stopped his attack. Akame managed to flip over Kurome and was able to disarm her in the process.

"It's over Kurome." Akame bluntly told her sister

"Not yet my dear sister." Kurome said confidently before she quickly rolled to the side to pick up her sword. After Kurome regained her sword, Wave quickly moved in front of Kurome to protect her

"I know that the nanomachines are enhancing your body. But I doubt they'll do much good regarding the damage that's already done to your body. The enhancement drugs you've been taking for years has already weakened you. Even you should know that you don't have much time left. If you keep this up you'll surely die Kurome." Akame told her sister in a calm tone while on guard

"Don't underestimate my strength my dear sister. You still can't get through Wave's armor and the side-effects of the enhancement drugs is quickly dealt with due to the nanomchines. Killing me is not going to be as easy as you think." Kurome said before she took up a stance

"It is true that I'm fully prepared to kill you. Since I ultimately see you as my responsibility because we're family. However, Raiden wouldn't allow me to go through with such a thing and gave me an idea. Now I came here to both fight you and save you." Akame told Kurome causing her to be slightly confused.

Before anyone realized it, Raiden was able to quickly grab Kurome from behind and she was unable to move as a result. The reanimated Wave struggled to move but ultimately didn't do so. Since every fiber of his instincts is telling him that Raiden won't do anything to hurt her.

"Wave, stop Raiden and my sister." Kruome commanded while struggling to get free

"He's not doing anything because you could be at risk of getting hurt. Either that, or he knows that Raiden won't hurt you. Since he could have killed you a long time ago if he really wanted to. But since he didn't, Wave knows that your not in real danger as far as as Raiden is concerned. Which makes this perfect for me." Akame said before she rushed past Wave and got close to Kurome.

Once Akame got close to Kurome, she pulled out a syringe and injected something within Kurome's neck. After a split second, Akame pulled out the syringe and Raiden proceeded to let go of Kurome. After getting freed, Kurome tried to attack her sister but quickly realized that she didn't have the strength to do so. Kurome was having a lot of trouble holding her sword and quickly lost her footing. She did the best she could to stand up and continue the fight.

However, Kurome quickly found herself falling and losing much more of her strength every second. She not only lost the strength that the nanomachines gave her. But she started to lose her natural strength that the enhancement drugs gave her. Once a few more seconds have passed, Kurome was able to move her arms but lost all feelings in her legs.

"My legs, I can't feel my legs. What's going on, why is this happening to me?" Kurome asked in a panicked tone

"We injected you with a special medicine that not only disables nanomachines within an individual. But also destroys all the abnormalities within the body. Basically, not only are your nanomachines being permanently disabled. But it is destroying all the enhancements you've had with the drugs you've been taking for years. Since your body has been so dependent on them. Its safe to say that as a result of what we gave you, you've lost the ability to walk. You can no longer hurt or threaten anyone ever again. This also satisfies me, since you can no longer walk the path of an assassin." Raiden explained to Kurome who has a look of utter despair

"I can't . . . . . I have to be useful to the Empire. I can still finish the mission and prove myself." Kurome said tearfully as she started to look around. But as she did so, she saw Wave dissolve into dust. But before he fully dissolved, his helmet was uncovered and it revealed his face

"Thank you Raiden, you saved the one I love from all of this." The reanimated Wave told Raiden

"No kid dies on my watch Wave." Raiden said before the reanimated Wave looked at Kurome

"Goodbye Kurome, I love you and I will always be with you." The reanimated Wave said before he dissolved into dust completely leaving behind only his teigu Grand Chariot.

"Wave is . . . . gone." Kurome said tearfully with the reality of the situation sinking in

"I guess you guys did it." Tatsumi said as he was approaching the small group of three

"Yeah, Boss isn't going to like this much. But we now know for certain that the syringe works and we still have one left. Kurome won't be able to walk again but she is still alive which is already a major victory." Raiden told Tatsumi

"We should leave while we have the chance." Akame said to the two guys

"Right let's , , ," Raiden said before a female figure jumped in between all of them. When Raiden looked to see who it was, they saw that it was Yashan and she was ready for a fight.

"Did you honestly think I would simply allow Saeke to venture out like this carelessly. I merely observed and kept my distance." Yashan said before she kicked everyone away a small distance before they could do anything. After everyone was kicked away, Yashan took a look at Kurome with pity in her eyes

"Your heavy reliance on drug enhancements and nanomachines have been used against you Kurome. But due to the circumstances of your life, I will allow you to live. What Raiden and his allies do with you is not my concern. Since you can no longer walk or let alone fight. You are no use to the Empire anymore." Yashan told Kurome with a stern gaze before she blocked Akame's sword attack with her claws.

After blocking Akame's sword attack with her calws. She knew that time was not on her side and had to act quickly. When she barely noticed both Raiden and Tatsumi getting closer. She made a smirk on her face and decided to twist her claws with a good deal of force. Once she did so, Yashan was able to destroy Akame's teigu with relative ease and after doing so. She released a flash bomb that blinded everyone in the area. Once the bright light dissipated, Yashan was gone. Along with the three teigus, Yatsufusa, Mastema, and Grand Chariot.

"A chaff flash grenade, my sensors are acting wonky. I can't even pick up a trail." Raiden said in a frustrated tone

"She also took the three teigus that was near us. Making things worse, she destroyed Akame's teigu. We have to pursue her before she can make things worse." Tatsumi told Raiden and Akame

"The trail is already lost thanks to that flash bang. Let's return to HQ, we shouldn't be here any longer." Akame told Tatsumi

"What about your teigu, without it you'll be at a major disadvantage?" Tatsumi asked in a concerned tone

"Akame is a fierce warrior without her sword. Besides, with Saeke dead, we don't have to worry about dealing with a tracker anymore. So we can all return to the hideout and not have any problems. I have a sword that can actually suit Akame well that I brought from home. But we'll deal that when we get back to the HQ." Raiden said before he picked up Kurome and he left the area with Tatsumi and Akame. Before the three of them went too far, Akame started to speak to Raiden

"Raiden, I was fully prepared to kill my sister and I have made it clear to the boss that affairs regarding my sister is a very personal matter. Even though she can no longer walk, it is still much more preferred than seeing her dead. Thank you, Raiden." Akame told Raiden in a grateful tone while holding back some tears

"Anytime Akame." Raiden responded while travelling while carrying Kurome over his shoulder

(A/N)

At this point in the story, Esdeath has a lot of respect and admiration for Raiden and sees him as a worthy opponent for her. She has a good idea of the kind of enhancements that Raiden has. But that's a similar case of Esdeath's ice abilities being a natural part of her. So the way she sees it, the cybernetic enhancements that Raiden has is no different than the blood teigu that Esdeath has.

Also, Prime Minister Honest is handled very differently in the manga and the anime. In the anime, Prime Minister Honest died in a very pathetic way. But in the Manga, he was strong enough to hold his own against Leone when she used her teigu. The way he died is also different between the anime and the manga as well. I plan on handling him a bit differently in this story and I hope your all looking forward to it.

Akame's teigu is destroyed as of this chapter, but she'll get a replacement sword in the next chapter and I'm looking forward to the reaction of what the sword is once it's revealed.

So read and review

Thank you

(CODEC 19 The Young Assassin)

"Rose this kid is a lot stronger than she looks. Especially with the way she's holding her sword." Snake told Rose over CODEC

"I hope your not planning on fighting her Snake. Her name is Kurome and she's just a little kid who's been conditioned to serve the Empire. Surely you can think of a way to deal with her without hurting her?" Rose asked Snake in a concerned tone via CODEC

"I will if I have no other choice, but I can easily put her down without killing her. What does the files say about her weapon?" Snake asked Rose

"The files say that her sword is able to bring the dead back to life. The condition is that she has to be the one to kill them with her sword. The condition they were in when they were killed is the condition they'll be in when she brings them back to life. Once they return from the dead, they will be puppets, no will of their own except to obey and protect their master." Rose explained to Snake

"So some very potent knockout gas for the kid and adept on the fly with her undead puppets." Snake said summarizing the plan to fight Kurome

"Seeing all of this is just . . . . sickening." Rose told Snake trying to hold back some tears

"What do you mean Rose?" Snake asked in a curious tone

"To think the Empire would have a weapon like that and allow a child to wield it. Not to mention that the weapon itself deprives the dead the right to rest in eternal peace. How could a weapon like that even exist, its inhumane. Making things worse is that this is a child who's been through a lot of mental conditioning to serve the Empire. First that girl who is grieving for her dead father and now this. How could the Empire be this cruel to people?" Rose explained to Snake in a pleading tone

"I know what you mean, as a soldier with a lot of blood on his hands. I'll go as far as to call that weapon an abomination for human life. But I do see how it can be useful for certain people. I don't have a clear answer for you Rose. The best I can do is what I do best and deal with the threat. But I'll promise this, the kid won't die and I'll destroy that sword and make sure that it can never be used again. If I'm brought back to life deprived of my free will. The I would prefer to be dead, so I can have some measure of peace." Snake said before he started to engage Kurome and her puppets.

(Reminisce 10 family)

"Otacon, when reading this book I notice that there's practically no information regarding Snake's family." Najenda told Hal

"Yeah I know, the part of Snake's family has been left out for good reason. It's a bit complicated and I don't think it's a detail he wants people to know about. I can tell you a few things but that's just it." Hal told Najenda

"I see, then does he have any family?" Najenda asked Hal in a curious tone

"He does, he has two brothers. One's name is Liquid and the other's name is Solidus." Hal told Najenda

"Wait, is it the same Solidus that adopted Raiden?" Akame asked overhearing the conversation

"Yeah, I'm a bit surprised that Raiden told you that Akame. Though I guess that would technically make Solid Snake Raiden's uncle." Hal told Akame in a slightly proud tone

"Is Solid Snake close to his brothers?" Najenda asked Hal

"I'm afraid not, there's a lot of bad blood between the three of them. A lot of it stems from ideology, genetics, and beliefs. Their father Big Boss was a big part of that. Making things worse is the circumstances of their birth." Hal said in a worried tone getting more of Akame's and Najenda's attention

"I see, if its too painful you don't have to disclose those details." Najenda told Hal

"Thanks, I'll tell you when the time is right but not now. It's just a bit hard to do so, especially when ou know the things I do." Hal told Najenda

"Don't worry, I understand more than you think." Najenda responded in an understanding tone
