Ojiro and Iida were currently staring out at the vast field of dirt that stood before them and the escape gate. Power loader was nowhere in sight which confused the both of them greatly. However it wasn't long before the intercom blared to life announcing the commencement of their final. "Let's Go! 30 Minutes on the clock."

"Do you have any plans for victory Ojiro?" Iida took a step forward only for the ground to suddenly collapse below him, thankfully Ojiro was able to pull him back before he fell in.

"Careful Iida it seems our opponent has laid traps all around the area." Ojiro picked up a rock and threw it with his tail only for a similar pitfall to appear where it landed.

"So it would seem Ojiro, this topography gives our opponent the advantage as such I suggest we escape rather than fight."

"That's fine with me Iida but what's your plan." Ojiro looked questioningly at the boy.

"This!" He had Ojiro get on his back before internally shouting 'Fusion!' Iida powered up Reciproburst and sprinted forward but right as his foot was about to hit the ground he activated Air Step preventing them from triggering any of the pitfalls that Power Loader had placed. They were about halfway to the gate when the man in question sprouted out of the ground in front of them.

Seeing that Power Loaders' first plan had failed through his cameras and sensors Power Loader shot himself out of the ground hoping to surprise his students. "Eh eh eh did you think we wouldn't prepare for you to do that Iida? Thanks for falling for my real trap."

Iida watched as the man pulled out what looked like Mei's capture gun, realizing that they were both about to fail Iida did the only thing he could. He couldn't stop after all Air Step had no traction. He Grabbed Ojiro by his arm before as the kids would say 'yeeting' the boy over his opponent.

Power loader couldn't respond in time having already fired the net gun and was forced to watch as Ojiro flew to safety over his head, he also needed to side step the incoming Iida.

"Ojiro Mashirao has escaped, heroes win!"

Iida hit the ground with a rough landing but upon hearing the announcement of his victory it was all worth it.

"Well that was a good idea, I had hoped to trick you into using your new quirk since I knew you couldn't stop yourself while using it thus you'd get caught in that net. I hadn't expected you to put OJiro on your back or throw him past me at all. Good job Iida."

"Your words of praise are welcome Sensei but I could really use some help getting out of this hole." Iida looked incredibly undignified.

Power Loader laughed a bit. "Yeah one sec I'll get you out Iida."

Back into the observation room

Izuku had thankfully healed all his wounds before passing out but that did nothing for his lost fluids so he had an IV attached to him in order to regain his lost fluids, other than that and a mild headache he was mostly healed. Izuku was intrigued, had all the teachers really come up with counter measures for even the additional quirk's he'd handed out? He looked questioningly over at Recovery Girl hoping she would answer the question written on his face.

Chiyo sighed. "Yes they did honey, we couldn't think of one for you though which is what led to yours being vastly different than the rest of the class."

Izuku pulled out his notebook. He could finally watch and learn about what everyone managed to do with their new quirks. "Also I see Snipe and Thirteen still have to proctor a test, is that okay? I kinda roughed up snipe pretty badly, Thirteen not as much but I still hurt her."

The woman sighed of course he was more worried about his opponents than himself. "They're teachers boy they knew what they signed up for, besides you got shot ... twice. Worry about yourself before worrying about others. I don't care if you can heal yourself, if you don't start treating your body with more care then I'm going to come over there and whack you with my cane.

Izuku gulped. "Yes Ma'am!"

Izuku returned the screen to see that it was Kirishima and Sato's turn. How will Cementoss counter Kirishima's Shunpo he wondered.

The pair in question stood in the middle of Ground Beta both of them pumping themselves up.

Kirishima slammed his fists together. "You ready Sato? We're gonna run straight through this exam."

"Hell yeah man! I got some cake I need to finish preparing back at the dorms so let's crush this quick." Sato mimicked his friends actions.

The intercom buzzed to life announcing the start of the exam.

"This is gonna look a bit weird but get on my back Sato." Kirishima asked Sugar Man.

The boy in yellow looked at him before nodding. "Fine by me I assume you got a plan?"

Kirishima merely nodded.

Strange that they went with a similar plan to Ojiro and Iida despite neither of them having actually seen what the other duo did Izuku thought.

"Hold on tight this isn't gonna be pleasant." Kirishima readied Shunpo before jumping only for a massive wall of cement to jut out before him. "Help me we're going straight through this." Both boys readied a punch to crush the cement in front of them only for another to be there right behind it.

Kirishima for once in his life hesitated. "Sato I think Cementoss is just going to keep making these hold on real quick. Can you throw me to the top of one of these?" Kirishima saw the dull sheen in the boys eye as his quirk's stupidity kicked in but Sato did what he was told and threw the red headed boy as hard as he could.

Perfect from the top of this building I can Shunpo past these barriers and Cementoss shouldn't be able to stop me up here. He saw the man in question producing wall after wall of concrete and cement Kirishima didn't think he could break through all of those even with Sato. He saw the goal and decided to learn the lesson Shinsou taught him, sometimes the unmanly way to win is the correct one. Kirishima hardened himself as much as he could before shunpoing past the goal line leaving a crater where he landed.

"Ejiro Kirishima Escaped. Heroes Win!"

Kirishima didn't defeat the villain and his comrade was still stuck back there but he'd won and sometimes that's all you can do.

Izuku was frantically scribbling in his notebook. I see so the plan was to cut off Kirishima's view to prevent him from Shunpoing about and both natures of the student's in question was so straight forward and abrasive that in order to win they need to tackle the problem from a different angle. It seemed like the teachers were leaving specific ways for pair of student's to achieve victory. "Am I right in assuming there is a way for each hero pair to win?"

"Goodness boy you're too smart for your own good. Yes we put opponents against the student's who they would not normally be able to beat. Before you ask in your case it was the lack of a real ranged option but you overcame that during the test which is why you passed. I highly doubt without that new water blade technique you would've been able to create the gap that let you separate Thirteen and Snipe long enough for you to take one of them down. In the case of Kirishima and Sato those two block heads just run headfirst at every enemy with zero regard for their surroundings. The point of fighting Cementoss was to provide them with an opponent they couldn't power through." Shuzenji pointed out.

Izuku tilted his head. "What about Iida and Ojiro?"

"Ah that one was about flexibility and personality more than specific skills. Iida is too honest, too straightforward, his way of thinking needs to be expanded. He follows the rules too much. As for Ojiro it's much the same he has to follow his honor, his code. If Ojiro limits himself to what he believes to be right then he will never progress as a hero. I highly doubt Ojiro would've let Iida stay behind while he escaped because as a hero that's not something he can condone. Had Iida not thrown the boy I doubt they would've passed." The healer explained.

"Oh that makes sense." Izuku nodded.

The rest of the exams passed in a flash. Until it was finally time for the final match All Might versus Todoroki, Bakugo, and Yaoyorozu.

"So what's the logic behind this one? I can get Bakugo since he borderline refuses to work with anyone else but why the other two?" Izuku asked Recovery Girl.

She waved her cane at Izuku. "Because of you you dunce. It was originally going to be Todoroki and Bakugo versus All Might but we had to move a person somewhere else because we couldn't possibly team somebody up with you and only All Might seemed strong enough to handle three of your classes strongest students. Well there was another reason by putting the third here we could guarantee that Todoroki could still pass by working together with the third even if Bakugo refused to work with the boy. It felt wrong to fail him simply because his partner refused to help, this way Todoroki still has an option that let's him pass."

"That makes a lot of sense but honestly there's no way I see Bakugo working with the two of them. There might be a chance Bakugo cooperates but its slim at best, hell he still calls like half of the class extras." Izuku sighed.

"That's also part of the reason it's All Might, that is the only person that boy even slightly respects. If someone were to force him into asking for help it'd be him." The woman explained.

Izuku sure hoped so.

Bakugo looked back at the two pests who refused to stop following him. He was going to win this exam all on his own, an disputed first. He'd already had to suffer the insult that Deku was so far beyond the rest of them that he even needed an entirely separate much harder exam, he was going to prove to them that he deserved the same as that damn nerd. " I told you two fucks to stop following me."

Momo just sighed. She knew this was going to happen. She briefly entertained the idea of letting Bakugo suffer his fate, it would be kind of cathartic to watch the vod of All Might kicking the ever living shit out of Bakugo later. She looked to Todoroki who had his usual impassive look on his face.

Noticing the gaze Todoroki turned to the girl. "Regretting it yet?"

Huffing Momo spoke. "You have no idea. We'll give him two chances to cooperate after that we bail. Launch some kind of massive Ice wall and separate, we'll run to the gate individually. Since Bakugo will more than likely be chasing after All Might that should at least buy us some time."

"Sounds like a good compromise to me, give him the chance to learn if he doesn't we turn tail and run." Todoroki looked at the girl approvingly. Todoroki turned to Bakugo. "Bakugo. You will work with us, All Might is not someone you can hope to defeat by yourself, unless you're already claiming to be stronger than the Number 1 hero. Then by all means go ahead and prove it we'll sit back and watch."

Momo knew antagonizing Bakugo was often the correct choice when trying to control him but she wasn't sure if that was the best way to go about it in this scenario. "All Todoroki is saying is that none of us, not even Izuku could hope to beat All Might in a 1 versus 1. The only reason they weren't stuck together is because their quirks were incompatible." She assumed that was the teachers' thought promise even if it wasn't true. It's not like we could tell the staff that Izuku couldn't steal All Might's quirk. The one he doesn't even have anymore.

Bakugo leveled a cold Icy stare at the two. "Icy-Hot, 3D Printer. I'm only going to say this once. STAY THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY! YOU HEAR ME?! I'M GOING TO BE WINNING THIS SO I DON'T GIVE A FLYING FUCK WHAT YOU TWO THINK."

The sheer rage and fury in the boy's eyes caused the two to stare at each other both thinking the same thing. That was one.

"Bakugo stop trying to do everything on your own because you can't. Your childish behaviour is frankly insulting to us trying to be heroes, none of us can do everything by ourselves. Not even All Might and especially not you." Momo was getting fed up by the person in front of her if logic wasn't going to work then she was going to stoke his flames even more.

"The fuck did you say Ponytail!" Bakugo raised his fist as if to strike the girl but Todoroki and Momo quickly readied battle stances and he hesitated.

Todoroki spoke. "She's right Bakugo, you're acting like I did at the beginning of the semester, tell me have you once actually fulfilled your promise for an 'undisputed first'." Time to rip the band-aid clean off no more point in being civil, Bakugo doesn't listen to that anyway.

Bakugo paled. He slowly recounted every major event throughout the year, the only time he'd come in first was the cavalry battle at the sport's festival and Deku gave him that fucking headband in the first place. "I-i

Before he could respond the buzzer went off and immediately an absolutely massive whirlwind swept it's way through Ground Beta. Car's were being flung, windows shattered the concrete itself had been ripped from the floor and flung into other buildings crushing and collapsing them, only the shockwaves reached the trio but even those were still incredibly strong managing to knock the three of them over.

Bakugo turned to look down to what had previously been the central street of Ground Beta. 'What, what the hell?'

Momo stood back up before evaluating the carnage her mentor had caused, wasn't this going a bit far Toshi? This is just an exam and you wrecked like half the city with one punch.

Todoroki once again appreciated the sheer gap in power between his father and All Might, so this was what drove my father to insanity. He wasn't even sure having ice would be enough to bridge the massive difference in strength.

All Might leapt and landed before the trio, letting his legs hit the ground with as much power as he could muster causing shockwaves to spread from where he landed. "Surely you didn't think that yelling and giving away your position was the best choice Heroes." The number 1 spat out that last word like it was the greatest insult one could utter. "If you think of this as a test you're going to be in for a bad time."

"YOU DON'T GET TO TELL ME THAT!" Bakugo charged in before launching an explosion at the mans face. 'Ha got him'. Only for a hand to reach through the explosion grabbing him by the face and slamming him into the ground. Bakugo let out a loud grunt as he hit the floor.

All Might laughed. "A weak blast like that is nothing to me."

Momo immediately put 10% of One for All throughout her body before charging at the man, hoping to distract him long enough for Bakugo to escape his grasp. She tried to kick him in the face only for the man to grab her foot with his other hand and throw her into a nearby building. Satisfied he watched as the girl crashed through the window of the third floor, he turned back to his remaining opponent.

Bakugo seeing All Might was looking at IcyHot took his chance to unleash even more explosions from his position beneath the Number 1 only for the man to lift him up and then smash him into the floor again, only even rougher this time. Bakugo was sure he felt something snap as his back slammed into the floor again.

Todoroki realizing he needed to help unleash a massive gout of flames at the man hoping to separate the two. He watched as his flames roar towards his target before being snuffed out.

"Such a weak flame, just like blowing out a birthday candle."

For one of the few times in his life Todoroki felt fear, had that man just used his breath to stop his flames? What in the actual hell.

Bakugo heard the familiar ding of one of his gauntlets having been fully powered up and smiled. "DIE ALL MIGHT!" Bakugo pointed the grenade gauntlet at All Might before pulling the pin, the explosion that resulted was massive and shoved Bakugo further into the ground. He grunted in pain, yeah something was definitely broken. But Bakugo had gotten his chance he exploded away from the man as he felt his grip loosen. He'd need to avoid letting All Might grapple him in the future.

Todoroki wasted no time unleashing a massive glacier as Bakugo got free from the number 1. He saw All Might trapped inside the glacier and smirked, that should keep him trapped long enough for them to escape. The crunching he heard seconds later immediately dashed those hopes.

All Might just rolled his shoulder and the glacier immediately cracked and broke. "Was that supposed to stop me? All I had to do was stretch my arm a bit and it shattered Young Todoroki."

Momo had been waiting for her chance to fire at All Might from her current position on the third floor and she sensed this was it. She fired multiple tranq darts at the Symbol of Peace hoping these would maybe do something. The man didn't even glance in her direction as the darts bounced harmlessly off of the man and onto the floor. Momo just stared in shock.

All Might feigned surprise. "Hmm I think I just felt something tickle me. If this is the best you have Heroes then I think I'm done playing around."

Did Todoroki's strongest attack just get literally flexed off? Alright that's it we're done here. "Bakugo were leaving. We can't beat him, nothing any of us are doing is working."

"SHUT UP ICY HOT, I'M GOING TO BEAT HIM!" Bakugo charged at All Might once more.

All Might summoned his most intimidating smile. "Oh? Not had enough yet Young Bakugo? Fine by me."

Todoroki pinged Yaoyorozu on the communicator she made for the both of them, one Bakugo would've had if he'd listened. "He's used his two chances we're leaving Yaoyorozu. The gate is directly behind him, I'm going to cut to the left you cut right use the buildings as cover."

Momo sighed, well at least they tried, on the bright side she would be getting to see that video later. "Roger, good luck Todoroki." She fired up 10% of One for All and jumped through the window on the opposite side of the building before rolling and landing safely on the ground floor outside. As Momo ran towards the gate she created several stun grenades, one hidden inside of a matryoshka doll for an added level of surprise. The sounds of explosions continued on for several seconds before they suddenly stopped Momo could only shudder at what that meant.

Back to Bakugo

Bakugo's latest charge was met with a swift punch to the gut by the pro hero who stood before him. On the ground wheezing Bakugo starred down All Might with a glare in his eye. "You - think - this will be - enough to - stop me ALL MIGHT!" Bakugo lifted his hand to fire an explosion but his wrist was grabbed by the number 1.

All Might just looked at the boy disappointedly, it was clear his teammates had abandoned him. He couldn't linger here or they might actually make it to the finish line. "You know Young Bakugo, had you worked with your classmates you might have actually pas-."

The irritation on Bakugo's face only grew. "Zip it All Might, I would rather lose than work with those extras."

All Might sighed, so be it young Bakugo. He raised his hand to deliver the final strike. "As long as you have no regrets." He brought his hand down knocking the boy out. Now he should probably go after Young Yaoyorozu first, she is definitely the faster of the two, let's see the last time I saw her was in that building I threw her into. All Might quickly leapt on top of it and looked down the streets for the girl. He saw no trace of the girl. Well if I can't find her I just have to beat them both to the entrance. All Might leapt using all his strength leaving a crater on the destroyed building he was currently standing on.

Back to Todoroki

Todoroki activated his comm. "Yaoyorozu do you copy?"

"I'm assuming this about how we no longer can hear Bakugo?" Momo knew what it meant but she didn't like the implications.

"Yeah it's safe to say he's out and since All Might is not chasing either of us that means he likely retreated to the entrance gate. How quickly and more importantly silently could you drill through a glacier?" Todoroki had a plan not that he liked it or even thought it would work but it was better than them just trying to run past All Might, they lost a 3v1 so badly the only hope was to distract All Might long enough for Yaoyorozu to escape.

"That flamethrower I made during the sport's festival isn't too loud. If you're thinking what I think you're thinking, how much time can you buy me?"

Todoroki winced. "Not long honestly, maybe 10-20 seconds at the best." It wasn't much but it'd have to do.

"Well I'm already in position by the gate, I see All Might he's basically on top of it. Let me know when you get close." She started doing her best to create everything she thought she was going to need for this upcoming trial, it wasn't a small pile by any means.

"Alright I'm basically there, the signal is going to be the largest glacier I'm capable of. Get ready Yaoyorozu." Todoroki took a large breath of air before stepping out and dropping a tundra on his opponent.

All Might laughed heartily. "This again Young Todoroki? I must say I'm disappointed if you thought this would be enough." All Might broke free from the Glacier and prepared to throw a nearby car at the boy only for another massive blast of ice to hit him. All right enough of this. All Might wound back his fist cracking the ice as he went and threw a 100% smash in the direction of Todoroki, shattering all the ice and knocking the boy back several yards. All Might was smarter than to fall for this, he didn't even turn. "And where would you be going miss Yaoyorozu?"

The girl froze as her name was mentioned. "Uh nowhere All Might-Sensei?" Momo dropped the flamethrower realizing it would be useless before switching to plan B. She threw 2 stun grenades one in the doll at All Might with the force of 10% of One for All. Essentially attempting to bean him in the face with them. Surprisingly the man made no attempt to dodge the doll and just let it collide with his face.

"AHAHAHA what was that supp- ACK!" All Might yelped in surprise as his vision was suddenly white and his ears were ringing.

Momo just stood in shock that she'd actually managed to do that. She was drawn from her astonishment when a heterochromatic haired teen started yelling at her to run for the goal. She quickly complied but her leg was grabbed right as she was about to cross the finish line. She was violently thrown into one of the remaining pieces of Todoroki's glacier, thank god One for All reduced the amount of damage the user took, she grumbled as she got out of the ice.

"That was a nice trick Young Yaoyorozu but you squandered your chance to escape and I promise you I won't be falling for that again. Are you two ready to try and actually fight me now?" All Might challenged both of them openly by flexing his knuckles.

Todoroki was still roughly 40 feet to the left of Yaoyorozu near where he launched the first glaciers from. She grabbed her comms and whispered into them "Todoroki I have a plan, were going to-"

All Might watched as the girl pressed a hand to her head with a pained expression, was she hurt? He almost didn't catch it but the girl was moving her lips, ah a communicator. "You think I'm going to sit back and let you two plan?" All Might lunged at the girl but paused as she started emitting a pink gas, moment's later a gas mask appeared on her face.

With this Momo was basically a discount Midnight but it'd have to do. She fired two pink smoke canisters from her palms at the ground below All Might using One for All, hoping to blind the man while simultaneously making him back off. She prepared the last part for the part of her plan as Todoroki's glacier came flying in. This close to the gate All Might can't evade or we'll win. She saw the man preparing to raise his fist just like she thought he would. She leapt into the air and expanded her wingsuit a good 20 feet above where the man stood, the wind pressure was going to be incredible but the girl was going to go flying just like she wanted.

All Might put one hand around his mouth while getting prepared to detroit smash away the gases and the incoming glacier. He was mid swing when Yaoyorozu leapt upwards above him. He couldn't stop in time as he released his fist. The gales created by his fist sent her up far away even beyond his reach. Then the flames came and All Might's vision of the girl was gone. He was directly next to the gate so he should have plenty of time to stop her before she can pass through, she has to descend all that way after all. To his surprise Gas canisters started dropping from the sky all around him, even he couldn't smash all of these away, the girl's plan wasn't to escape but to knock him out. Well if he couldn't detroit smash up to get rid of all of these then he would just slam down as hard as he could and displace them from him. 100% DETROIT SMASH. All Might internally screamed as he slammed the floor below him. In his haste All Might hadn't thought of how this act would affect the topography of the area.

Momo smirked as she watched All Might blow all the gas canisters and the gate itself away. As she watched large chunks of the gate get smashed out and away, Momo flew after them and landed next to one of the larger pieces. She picked it up and 'passed" under it.

Even the intercoms were confused by this. "Uhhhhh Yaoyorozu Momo escapes? I think?" The intercom bleeps off for a bit before the sound returns. "According to Principal Nedzu that counts. Hero team victory as Yaoyorozu Momo has escaped."

As the dust settled All Might just turned around. "I uh- what?"

His answer came in the answer of the comms the teachers used to talk to each other, the principal's every cheery voice came through. "Well Yaoyorozu technically passed through the gate and since the thing no longer functioned as you completely destroyed it, I think it should count for them. I mean Yaoyorozu DID escape, just not through the gate."

Momo knew she could count on the principal. In a real life situation just getting away should count as an escape, in what actual escape scenario do you need to flee to a specific location guarded by the enemy. Just go literally any other direction, she kinda picked up the idea from Izuku and the 'Stealth' training when Mina, Jirou, and Hagakure just walked back in and out the gate.

Todoroki casually approached her before offering a high five. Shocked that Todoroki of all people would do that Yaoyorozu quickly slapped his hand. "Good job Todoroki, you did excellently keeping All Might distracted long enough for me to pull that off."

"Yeah right Yaoyorozu as far as I'm concerned you won that for us. Although I do wonder what will happen to Bakugos and our score, we did kinda just use a fellow hero as live bait and run away." Todoroki lamented but his face was as neutral as ever.

Yaoyorozu just shrugged. "If the teacher's actually watch the footage they'll see we tried to work with him but he refused. They can't blame us too much for that. Anyway let's get back they're probably waiting for us."

Izuku had been watching that match with rapt attention. At first it looked like Bakugo might actually be willing to work with the others but then Izuku saw Bakugo lunge in again without the other two and then they finally deemed Bakugo a lost cause. They both split off and left him to go down. Izuku was actually kind of sad to see that, he'd thought Bakugo was getting better. Honestly Izuku had hoped his Endeavour versus All Might speech got to him. There's a reason Endeavour will never be the number 1 and it's not because of the strength difference, even if there is one. A hero isn't a hero to fight villains, a heroes' job is to save people.

Chiyo just sighed, she needed to go heal that child. Maybe he would be willing to listen to her if no one else. "I need to go take care of that explosive idiot, would you mind holding down the fort until Aizawa arrives Midoriya?"

"No problem Recovery girl." Izuku gave her a bright smile.

It wasn't long till the rest of their class minus Bakugo, and their perpetually tired teacher walked in. "Midoriya where's Recovery girl?" Eraserhead asked the boy.

"Oh she's healing Bakugo she told me to stay here and keep everyone else together."

"Well that's fine then, you all will receive your results tomorrow. As expected not all of you passed." Aizawa paused letting the fear sink into them.

Several in the audience paled at that.

Using his quirk to silence his class. "Make sure to bid farewell to your fellow classmates who will not be joining you on your summer camp trip tomorrow. You won't be seeing them for awhile after all." The man manically grinned at his students.

Izuku took this chance to take a large step away from his teacher as many in the class began to glare at the man.

"You're all dismissed." Aizawa climbed backed into sleeping bag and caterpillared off.

Izuku wanted to lift the spirits of his classmates even just a little. "Hey you guys all wanna go grab dinner before we head back to the dorms and then go play video games in the common room?" He said that last part particularly loudly hoping the rest of the class would hear him.

Iida was about to speak but Izuku stopped him. "I just got Super Bash Bros ultimate I was wondering you guys wanted to try the tournament mode, actually everyone in the class is welcome to join us if you wanna play."

Several in the class including Kaminari, Sero, and Jirou seemed interested at the very least.

Iida was once again about to speak but Izuku put his hand over his mouth as he led his friend group away. Once safely away from the main gaggle of the class Izuku spoke. "Tenya, we have nothing to study for tomorrow, we literally just finished our finals and some of the class is worried about falling. There's a chance we won't see them for awhile can't they relax just this one night, and yes I know what your trying to say "We shouldn't be engaging in activities such as video games on a school night." Izuku imitated the engine boy chopping his hands and everything.

That got a giggle from just about everyone except Tenya who looked down defeated. "You are right Izuku, we have survived our trials and tribulations perhaps it is time for some merriment." Tenya gave Izuku a bright smile.

"There ya go tin can, we all need to lighten up a bit every once in awhile." Hagakure added.

Hagakure, Uraraka, Tenya, Asui, Momo, Shinsou, Todoroki, and Izuku walked together to the cafeteria having light conversations and jabs at each other about who failed the exam. Kirishima would've been with them but he wanted to check on Bakugo. Overall it was a pretty relaxing end to a very stressful day.

In the Nurse's Office.

Chiyo had used her quirk on the boy around 10 minutes ago, she was expecting him to wait up any minute now. She needed to try and beat some sense into this idiot before he gets kicked out of the hero course. in the meantime she busied herself with other medical documents and treatments for other student's who needed them. She looked at the X-rays of Midoriya's leg and arm, both bullet holes completely gone and no damage to the ligaments or bone. She should really try and have him help out around here sometime, oh but he has to give people quirks to heal them. Hmm she could probably find some workaround for that. Her musings were interrupted by the groans of her only patient. "So you're awake. Do you know where you're at Bakugo?"

The boy just nodded looking down at his hands. He'd lost, All Might beat him. At the very least if he was going to lose it was to the number 1 and not somebody like Deku again. He scanned the room surprised when he saw neither Icy Hot nor the 3D Printer.

Chiyo recognized the confusion in the boys eyes. "They passed by the way. Only you of that group failed."

Bakugo just grunted at that news at least he hadn't run away.

"You know if you keep this up you're going to get kicked out of the Hero Course." She waited for the inevitable reaction.

"What No fucking way. WHY?" Bakugo was furious, how dare they kick him out, HIM.

"It's simple really, you absolutely refuse to work with others. Even Endeavour works with others despite his personality. Mirko even if begrudgingly also accepts help while she fights and these are both top 10 heroes. Do you believe yourself that much better than them?" Chiyo tilted her head at the boy.

The boy started to open his mouth but the lady shushed him with her cane. "I won't hit an injured patient with this but boy you will shut up and listen."

When no response came she continued. "You're being a fool. Even All Might had a sidekick, no one NO ONE can be a hero alone. Today's exercise should have demonstrated that well enough since you lost and your teammates didn't and why is that? It's because you failed to grasp the point of the test that you lost. You were never going to win alone, period. The point was the need to work with others. Funny how that exact same logic was used in Midoriya's test, none of the teachers could take him alone so they teamed up. I'm telling you this for your own good. You should know how Eraserhead operates by now, he won't hesitate to expel you if you become a liability to your classmates and today you were a liability."

Bakugo wanted to protest but he couldn't, there was literally nothing he could say to that.

Seeing that her point had been made, Chiyo removed her cane from his face. "Now go on get out of here and do at least try to work with your fellow classmates, you don't need to be friends hell you don't even need to like them them but you need to be able to at least work with them ... By the way there's a visitor here to see you."

A familiar spiky red haired teen walked in. "Bakubro you feeling better? Wanna grab dinner?"

Bakugo sat and stared at him, really stared at him.

After a pause Kirishima spoke again. "You okay dude you're just staring at me."

"Sure let's go shi- Kirishima." Bakugo could at least try it this way once and if it didn't work he could always go back.

The shock on the red head's face was palpable but Kirishima dared not say a word. He just walked with Bakugo to the cafeteria.
