Thanks to Spectre6, V and xULTRONxGHOSTx for the feedback!
V: Not sure I'd say he has two separate arcs. One is definitely his own struggles, but the other is...something.
Ultron: Eh, just go read another story. I recommend No More if you're in the mood to ruin your day.
This chapter is...interesting. I had fun with it.
Enjoy!
. . . . . . . . . .
Sabine entered the Medical Bay to find Ezra out of bed, walking around. "What are you doing?"
He stared at her with that impassive look she was beginning to hate. "Walking." He resumed his motions. "When the darkness is here, you'll need everyone to quell it."
Sabine just looked at him. Anakin and Cal had warned her that Ezra was different, but she hadn't truly believed it was all that serious. Just a repeat of Hoth.
This was very different.
Slowly, she inched forward. "Ezra, what's happening?"
He tilted his head. "Anakin and Rex have engaged the Mandalorian." He smirked. "Seems they failed."
Sabine frowned, eyes narrowing. "What's going on with you?"
Slowly, Ezra sat on the bed. "Sorry." He murmured. "Just, tired."
That had been his excuse for a while, but for the first time, Sabine wasn't sure she bought it.
. . . . . . . . . .
Everything you have is built on lies!
The voice was louder today, morphing between a dark reflection of his own, and Maul's. Why the Sith was suddenly in his head, especially when Ezra knew that Master Kenobi had killed him on Tatooine, was unsettling.
So far, fortunately, no one had come to check up on him yet today. For a moment, he had thought he heard Sabine's voice, but there had been no one.
I'm still here.
"No you're not." Ezra grimaced, holding his head in his hands. "Get out of my head."
"Ezra?"
There is no one in your head but you.
"Stop it."
"Ezra!"
Ezra blearily opened his eyes to see Cal staring at him, concerned. "Hey."
Slowly, Cal sat down. "You okay?"
His near cry to Anakin the previous night came back. 'I don't know what's real'. "I don't know."
"I'm sorry." Cal settled back. "I should have been there with you and Anakin."
Ezra shook his head, dragging himself up by his elbow to rest against the wall. "You wouldn't have been able to help." He admitted. "Revan had me before we even landed. Besides, you were injured at the time."
"Still." Cal looked at the ground. "If I or Merrin had been there, maybe-"
"Stop." Ezra stared at him, more alert. "We can't dwell on what was, only on what is."
"So let's not." Cal shifted forward in his seat. "How are you, really? And not just the lie you tell people."
Ezra opened his mouth, then closed it. Then he opened it again. "I'm hearing voices. Revan's and Maul's."
Cal frowned. "Maul? Isn't he dead?"
Ezra nodded. "Yeah. I think so."
Cal frowned. "You think so?"
Ezra shifted himself up a little higher. "Think about it." He intoned. "Revan's been gone for thousands of years, but he came back." Inside me. "What if Maul can come back the same way?"
The idea was ludicrous. Yet Ezra couldn't feel any safer as Cal shook his head. "Not possible. Master Kenobi killed Maul on Tatooine."
Unconvinced, Ezra nodded all the same. "Yeah. He's gone."
. . . . . . . . . .
"We can't wait for Marr to find us." Anakin gazed around at Cal, Ahsoka, Sabine, and Merrin. "I want us to go on the offensive."
"Did you not try that last time?" Merrin's eyes were narrowed. "You threaten the lives of everyone here with your desire to beat this warrior."
There was silence for a few minutes before Sabine spoke up.
"We could split up?" She looked at Cal. "Half of us stay here, and the other go find Marr and set up another base?"
Anakin nodded. "It's a good plan. So, who wants to stay?"
Another bout of silence, before Ahsoka spoke. "I think Cal, Sabine and Rex stay here with the Mantis."
Cal and Merrin looked at each other, while Anakin thought it over. "Sabine?"
She reluctantly nodded. "Keeps a Jedi here in case...anything happens."
"Okay. Then the rest of us will go elsewhere with the Ghost." Anakin could see the brief flash of pain across Sabine's face, and regretted talking. Ever since finding out about Jacen, Hera had avoided all of them, especially Sabine. She had practically locked herself in the cockpit of the Ghost, searching every Star Chart imaginable for Jacen.
Sabine blamed herself, but Anakin could see her cracking as well. She hid the pain of losing Caleb well, but he knew that Sabine blamed herself for the loss of the kids as much as Hera did.
There had been a small part of Anakin inside of Vader, and he had blamed himself when Vader found Ahsoka's lightsaber, surrounded by a destroyed Star Destroyer, and the bodies of clones. Anakin had thought he lost his Padawan, which Vader revelled in.
"Then it's settled." Anakin stood. "We leave at dusk." He looked at the rain. "Or, what settles for dusk here."
As the others left the Command Centre, Anakin was surprised to hear his comm beeping. "Skywalker."
"General?"
Rex, who had stayed behind, lurched to his feet, storming to the comm. "Cody?"
Anakin stared at the comm in shock. "Commander Cody?"
"Yes, Sir." The voice, while older, was definitely Cody's. Anakin had worked with him long enough to pick him out of a sea of his brothers. "Commander Tano told me you were back."
Anakin nodded, a genuine smile coming up. "I am. What can I do for you?"
"It's more what I can do for you, Sir." He could almost hear Cody's grin. "I have information regarding the Empire's new Death Star."
Anakin and Rex both leaned forward. "What?"
"The Empire is storing one of the kyber crystals used for ammunition on Mygeeto." Cody's voice broke. "General, they've destroyed Mandalore. From what I hear, Lothal is next."
"Lothal..." Anakin glanced at the Medical Bay. "Copy that, Cody. Keep us informed if anything changes."
"Yes, Sir!"
The comm fell silent, and Anakin turned to Rex. "We have to go. Now."
Rex nodded. "We'll get Cal to drop us off while they find a new base."
. . . . . . . . . .
Hera ran through as many Star Charts as she could, straining to find any pattern, anything that would give her a hint as to Jacen's location. Working together with her father and Tristan Wren, Hera had been able to learn that a transport ship had departed Krownest a few hours before the Empire had decimated the moon.
But, after that sighting, the ship vanished.
Cham had scoured the quadrant around Ryloth, and Tristan had done the same around Nevarro. Neither could find anything.
Her son, along with Ezra's and Sabine's, was gone.
Refusing to continue to think along those lines, Hera pulled up what few Charts there were around the Unknown Regions. The last time Ezra had gone to meet Thrawn, the Admiral had given him some.
Before she could look, her comm beeped. "Hera?"
Swivelling around in her chair, she grabbed her comm. "Father? Any news?"
Cham was silent for a long moment. "Yes, there is." His tone was sorrowful. "I am transmitting a audio log of an event Captain Wren sent me."
After a few apprehensive minutes, the file was transferred, and Hera played it. Most of it was garbled, useless, but there was one line that came in clear:
The sins of the Father will be revisited on the son!
Hera gasped, hands coming up to cover her ears. "Maul..."

Chapter Notes!
I). We're at the end of Ezra's problems. Next chapter, things are going to happen. Thoughts as to what that might be?
II). Maul's back in play, which is something I've been thinking about ever since the Redemption Story arc. Because, let's be honest, Maul can easily come back in the same manner as Revan. But, more on that later.
Thanks for reading!
