During the holiday break Sagiri was visiting her hometown, and while there she was delivered an envelope with her next mission.

"This is…I see, I suppose something like this was inevitable." She read it "Very well, if this is my mission then so be it."

Elsewhere Kari was picking up some side work as a waitress at a popup café near the ninja village.

"She doesn't know, and when I asked some of our other friends they mentioned the fight in the Tenko world where the ninjas helped put up that barrier, that was all we could do, and Sagiri works hard so maybe it was embarrassing for her to feel so useless?"

"Who knows, Sagiri is always odd like that." Kari smiled "She'll figure it out."

"Hey Hibari!" her phone rang with Urara's voice "Sagiri was out doing recon and found a Youkai, go help her!"

"Oh, sounds like fun." Kari smiled "And I just finished setting up for tomorrow, I can lend a hand."

Kari jumped off with surprising speed and found Sagiri battling with a flaming lantern.

"You alright Sagiri?" Kari smiled landing and throwing a kick out that blasted through the monster.

"Haa…" Sagiri sighed a bit "You blew through that Youkai I was struggling with like it was nothing, some things never change."

"Hmm?" Kari tilted her head "Didn't Urara say there were like ten of those things?"

"They must be hiding since you took out that other one so easily." The ninja warned "Searching for them all will take too long, leave this to me. Ameno Style Ninja technique: Rain Rhythm!"

Sagiri made a hand sign and palmed the ground, a sonar like pulse rolling out to detect any residual evil energies. Once she tracked them she made another sign causing eight large spears to form in the air behind her.

"Secret Technique: Eight Headed Dragon!"

She shot off the attack and annihilated the Yokai quickly.

"Wait you guys are done already?!" Hibari landed with a puff "Fine, good job Sagiri!"

"Uhh thanks?" Sagiri said confused.

"It's just that you've seemed bummed recently." Hibari explained.

"Oh well sure there are things I wish I could do better, but there's still people I can help, so I'm okay with that, it's something to be proud of." She shrugged.

"Really, then why were you being so weird lately?" Hibari asked.

"Well Umm…" Sagiri fumbled her words.

"Hibari is gonna work hard and train with Yuuna-chan and Nonko-san when she gets back to the inn." The girl explained.

"That's a good thing to do, it never hurts to try and get stronger." Kari smiled.

"I'm not going back to the Inn." Sagiri explained.

"Huh?" Kari and Hibari both looked at her.

"I've been let go from my job watching Arahabaki Nonko." She said "And from the plan to Seduce Kari Fumito."

"This is so sudden why?" Hibari gasped.

"Oh, here's where you were." A guy said walking over and blowing away one of the flaming lanterns like it was a fly.

"Why are you here?" Sagiri glared a bit.

"You know him Sagiri?" Hibari asked.

"He's…" The ninja girl sighed a bit.

"I'm Yoinozaka Shakuhito." He said "Sagiri's Fiancé."

"Fiancé?!" the others yelled.

"Umm…yes." Sagiri mumbled.

"This is a political marriage, to someone from Nonko-san's family?" Kari asked.

"Well…yes frankly." Sagiri sighed.

"I was looking over information from that fight with the Tenko and saw her picture, she's the perfect partner." The pink haired man said.

"Are you really okay with this Sagiri?" Kari asked.

"If the Chuuma Ninja have the backing of the Yoinozaka Family then we'll get more work." She said dismissively "And besides, these are my orders."

"But I didn't ask what your orders were…" Kari blinked.

"Well by now." Shakuhito said "We're going on a date now."

"Hmm…" Kari nodded "Okay."

LATER

Kari's POV

Since I was in the area Hibari said I could stay at the Ameno family house.

"They've got a nice little bath house; this place is cool." I said sinking into the water.

"I'm coming in Hibari-AH!"

I looked over and saw Sagiri standing there naked.

"W-Why are you here?!" she yelled.

"You still get embarrassed seeing my naked, it's kinda cute." I laughed "They let me stay here like last year."

"Get down!" she shoved me under the water "It's nothing just talking to a friend."

So if you think this is part of your mission to be a great ninja than that's cool, I'll be your friend either way."

"I've already made up my mind." She said "I'm a ninja first is all…"

I got up and put a towel on "Are you just gonna keep listening or say something."

The door opened and that annoying guy from before stepped out.

I kinda glared at him "I don't know just what your planning but if you don't stop acting like a stalker, I'm gonna kick your butt."

"The little mutant thinks she's got bite." He smirked.

"I think you're just jealous, cause if you do get married." I smirked "You'd never be able to match up to the high standard I set for Sagiri…or maybe you're worried I'm telling the truth and you'd get your butt kicked by a girl, I'll let you figure that out loverboy. See ya around."
