Morgana and Gwen were close to giving up. Most of their warriors were now down or too badly injured to carry on fighting the Saxons. Most people were staying inside and leaving the castle group to fight.
Morgana went over to Gwen whilst fighting off Saxons by hand. Gwen could see the exhaustion in Morgana's eyes. She was close to falling over from fighting too much.
"We don't have a chance!" Gwen shouted towards Morgana trying to keep composure.
"Come on Gwen." Morgana said with some strain in her voice. It was obvious to anyone that Morgana, even though she was a tough fighter, was also close to giving up.
The Saxons walked towards them. Most of the Camelot fighters were lying on the ground around them. Morgana looked Gwen in the eye, she then put her sword on the floor.
"Tell them to surrender." The Saxon leader said to Morgana waving behind her.
The fighters looked to Morgana for guidance. She nodded and they put their weapons down with their hands raised.
"Good choice." The leader said with a very creepy smile across his face.
"I don't think we have another one!" Gwen sighed quietly to Morgana, angry that they couldn't fight the Saxons off.
"Get over there!" The Saxon waved his hand for his men to take the fighters elsewhere.
Morgana and Gwen were grabbed by the arm and escorted away from the fighters they had fought beside. The Saxons bashed most of the fighters over the head which made them fall to the ground.
"No leave them alone!" Morgana begged as she was lead away. However, much she pleaded the Saxons didn't listen and kept Morgana away from them.
"They'll be fine my Lady." Gwen tried to calm Morgana down even though she also very worried about the fighters they left behind.
"We need a miracle Gwen." Morgana said with tears in her eyes.

Merlin was pacing in the dungeon. Arthur and Gaius were still trying to get Uther back up and by the looks of it, it was kind of working. Merlin had never been so happy to see Uther alright.
More crashing came from overhead. Merlin ducked every time crashes sounded, it sounded as though the ceiling was going to fall through into the dungeon.
Just before the ceiling fell in, the crashing stopped! Merlin got up from his position and looked around confused at why the crashing had stopped.
"Gaius?" Merlin asked worried that someone might be joining them soon.
Gaius looked up from his work. Like Merlin he had also been listening to the crashing and now it had stopped they had to think about moving.
"We just need a few more minutes." Gaius said looking back at Uther.
"I don't think we'll have a few more minutes!" Merlin said looking around.
"Be patient Merlin!" Gaius tried to calm Merlin down but also trying to keep Arthur from getting angry.
"We need to see what the situation is like out there." Arthur finally decided.
"You're not going out there alone." Merlin said before Arthur could leave.
"There's no point in you coming. You haven't done anything useful!" Arthur barked at Merlin.
Gaius looked over to the two men. Arthur was wrong obviously, but he didn't want to fight with the future king.
"What?!" Merlin said surprised.
"You heard." Arthur responded walking to the door.
Merlin grabbed Arthur's arm before he could leave. Arthur tried and failed to struggle out of Merlin's grip.
"Let go of me." Arthur said slowly in a stern tone.
"No." Merlin said quickly.
"Stay here with Gaius. I don't want you getting hurt."
"I'm not letting you get hurt either." Merlin said with puppy eyes.
Arthur couldn't really disagree with this. Merlin was always trying to keep him safe and if Arthur went out alone it meant Merlin couldn't do his job properly.
"Fine. Be careful." Arthur nodded as he gave Merlin a sword.
Merlin turned back to Gaius. He nodded which meant that Merlin could go and try and save Camelot.
"Alright." Merlin said.
Merlin and Arthur left out of the door leaving Gaius to look after Uther until he got better.

As soon as Merlin and Arthur got out of the dungeon, it was absolute chaos. Both Saxons and Camelot fighters lay on the ground. For some reason though there weren't any more fighters fighting.
"What's going on?" Merlin whispered to Arthur somewhat scared of what could come running at them.
"I don't know." Arthur said in a voice Merlin had never heard Arthur use.
Arthur and Merlin looked at each other. They had faced rats and scary birds, but Saxons were a lot worse. Arthur drew his sword with Merlin coming up to his side to fight with him.
They walked near the square. They didn't want to go in it yet, but they were still going to keep a close eye on what was going on inside it.
"Where's Morgana?" Arthur suddenly asked.
Merlin looked around the bodies on the floor. They defiantly hadn't run into Morgana's or Gwen's bodies.
"They must have her." Merlin decided nodding over to the square.
"That's it. No one takes Gwen!" Arthur hissed in a hushed tone.
Merlin gave a little smile. Arthur and Gwen were getting closer and closer. Even though they couldn't marry they still wanted to be together and that's what counts.
"We'll find them." Merlin patted Arthur on the back.
Arthur weakly nodded. Merlin could see Arthur's strength fading. They had been travelling for days without much rest, now they were going to need some rest or fall down instead.
"Maybe we should wait until tomorrow." Merlin questioned.
"No. We carry on." Arthur said trying to move forward but stumbling every step he took.
Merlin caught him each time. Arthur gave up after five steps of stumbling around.
"Okay. At least we can plan." Arthur nodded headed back to the dungeon to join Gaius.

Morgana and Gwen were being held captive in the square. The Saxons were surrounding them, so they had no way of escape! Their resolve was slowly fading.
"So, looks like no one is going to save you." The Saxon said miming crying.
"That's what you think!" Gwen mumbled under her breath.
"What was that?!" The Saxon shouted getting in her face.
Gwen didn't say anything in response to this. She just kept her head down from there on out. Morgana gave her a little smile, which seemed to say, 'good job'.
"Arthur obviously doesn't care about Camelot anymore." The leader said waving his arms around.
Gwen went to say something else but held herself back as it might antagonise the leader more. Morgana also held herself back from saying anything.
The leader walked around more. The Saxons all bowed as he walked past, it was obvious that he was very important. Morgana and Gwen had the right idea to keep quiet.
A Saxon came towards them carrying a man in their arms. Morgana lifted her head a little to see who it was. A red cape swung from the lifeless body being carried.
"One of ours." Morgana sighed as she put her head back down again.
"Who is it?" Gwen asked her.
"I can't see and I'm not sure that I want to see." Morgana said to her servant and friend.
Gwen didn't really want to look either but still looked out of curiosity. The Saxon came closer and put the body down. Why would they be carrying one of the Camelot fighters?!
"The last one sire." The Saxon looking down at the ground.
"That's all the knights then." The leader smirked.
Gwen gave out a little gasp. With the knights gone, the kingdom had no way of fighting off intruders if anyone came after the Saxons left.
"Looks like you're out of options." The leader turned to Gwen and Morgana.
Gwen sighed as she put her head done like Morgana. She had been hopeful that they could have held off until Arthur and Merlin came back but now….
