Disclaimer: I do not own Akame ga Kill and Call of Duty. They belong to their rightful owners.

Hours have passed since the sniper competition and Mine was bummed down at her loss to Price. She was confident was she will eventually beat him before joining the others back in the Modern Warfare room. Akame herself contribute to playing the next mission and soon it switches to the satellite where it displays all of the oil rigs going offline, since during the previous level, the SAM sites have been dismantled by the Marines. The gulag where Prisoner #627 is being held is analysed.

Captain MacTavish: Sixth Fleet's mopping up. Time to move in. Long history of this building. Not much of it pretty. Started out as a castle. With an actual dungeon. Built to withstand any siege. Building survived every brutal winter. The occupants... they weren't so lucky. The Monastery. Didn't survive the purges. Over the last century it's played host to anyone the government didn't want, but couldn't kill. Place is filled with living casualties of the last war... which I swear I thought we'd won.

"Sounds like a typical Imperial Capital Prison." Esdeath said gleefully.

"As if." Najenda agreed. However, I do not want to know what happens down there.

Meanwhile, Price and the other 141 Operators knew what this mission was. But, soon they shrugged it off before they look back at the screen.

Captain MacTavish: . But I suppose it's all a day at the races: you back the losing horse, and this is where you end up. Six-Two-Seven is the piece of meat Makarov wants, so let's cut him loose.

The satellite soon tracks Task Force 141 on Little Birds heading towards the gulag.

Four Little Birds carrying Captain MacTavish, Sgt. Gary "Roach" Sanderson, Ghost, and the rest of the team to the gulag.

Captain MacTavish: Thirty seconds.

Two F-15s fly in.

"Wow, that looks goods." Tatsumi said.

"And by the looks of that design, it looks pretty formidable." Dorothea agreed.

"Course the F-15 is formidable, Dorothy." Ghost added which made the bloodsucker glare at him in a confused manner.

Jester One-One: Hornet Two-One, this is Jester One-One, flight of two F-15s, four HARMs for the section. Standby for SEAD, over.

Hornet Two-One: Solid copy, Jester. Go get 'em.

Jester One-One: Good tone. Good tone. Fox-Three. Fox-Three.

The F-15s fire and destroy a radio station and fly off.

Jester One-One: Good kill. Good kill. Hornet Two-One, you're clear all the way. Good luck. Out.

"That doesn't look like a kill." Lubbock said.

"That is because buildings are kills." Price explained.

Hornet Two-One: Hornet Two-One copies.

Hornet Two-Two: Two-Two copies all.

Hornet Two-Three: Two-Three, solid copy.

They arrive at the gulag.

[Day 5 - 07:42:52]

[Sgt. Gary "Roach" Sanderson]

[Task Force 141]

[40 miles east of Petropavlovsk, Russia]

Hornet Two-Two: Two going in hot.

Hornet Two-One: Roger.

Hornet Two-Two: Guns guns guns. Guns guns guns.

Hornet Two-Two fires its guns and takes out a watch tower. The entire gulag is alerted of their presence as Russians are seen moving all around the gulag.

Hornet Two-One: Two-Two, Two-One. Good effect on target.

Captain MacTavish: All snipers, this is MacTavish, standby to engage. Stabilize.

Hornet Two-One: Roger.

Captain MacTavish: All snipers - clear to engage.

Hornet Two-One hovers across the first guard tower. Roach takes out his M14 EBR and eliminates foot-mobiles on the tower.

Captain MacTavish: Shift right.

Hornet Two-One: Shifting.

Hornet Two-One hovers to the right to the next tower.

Captain MacTavish: Stabilize.

Hornet Two-One: Ready.

They take out more hostiles on the second tower.

Worm: On target.

Captain MacTavish: Shift right.

Hornet Two-One: Shifting.

Captain MacTavish: I see four hostiles on the next tower!

Hornet Two-One hovers to the right to the next tower. Before the snipers can engage, an F-15 fires on the tower and quickly flies past Hornet Two-One. The resulting air draft causes Two-One to wobble.

"What the hell?!" Leone said. "Isn't Shepherd overseeing this mission?" She looked to see Ghost and Roach just staring at her.

"Never mind." She finished before she, Ghost and Roach looked back at the screen.

Hornet Two-One: Hang on!

Captain MacTavish: Shepherd! Get those fighters to cease fire immediately! That was too close!

Shepherd: I'll try to buy you some time. One man in a gulag doesn't mean much to the Navy at this point.

"Okay, something is going on." Run stated quietly so Ghost and Roach couldn't hear him.

Ghost: Bloody Yanks! I thought they were the good guys!

"Yeah, that's what we're thinking." Najenda agreed along with everyone except the 141.

Captain MacTavish: Ghost cut the chatter. Stay frosty.

The Little Birds begin to land on the gulag, dropping off MacTavish and his TF141 team.

Hornet Two-One: Second wave going in, standby. Two-One touching down on target. Team One is deployed.

Captain MacTavish: Go! Go! Go!

The team engages enemy foot-mobiles positioned on the second levels on the way to the entrance of the gulag.

Hornet Two-One: Two-One is in position for gun run.

Captain MacTavish: Copy Two-One, lasing target on the second floor!

Hornet Two-One: Two-One copies, got a tally on six tangos, inbound hot.

Hornet Two-One fires its guns on the second floor. The team reaches the entrance.

Captain MacTavish: The entrance is up ahead, keep moving!

MacTavish sees hostiles on the third floor.

Captain MacTavish: Hostiles on the third floor! Roach, use your M203!

They eliminate hostiles defending the entrance and enter the gulag.

Captain MacTavish: This is it! We go in, grab Prisoner 627, and get out! Check your corners! Let's go!

As they enter into the control room, they engage the few hostiles positioned there.

Ghost: That's the control room up ahead! I can use it to find the prisoner! I'll tap into their system and look for the prisoner! It's gonna take some time!

Captain MacTavish: Copy that! Roach, we're on cell duty! Follow me!

Ghost hacks into the gulag's control systems. The rest of the team goes down the first level and engages foot-mobiles while looking for #627.

Ghost: All right, I'm patched in. I'm tracking your progress on the security cameras.

Captain MacTavish: Copy that! Do you have the location of Prisoner 627?

Ghost: Negative, but I've got a searchlight tracking hostiles on your floor. That should make your job easier.

Ghost turns on the searchlight to track hostiles for the team to eliminate.

Captain MacTavish: Roger that! Stay sharp! The prisoner may be in one of these cells! Ghost, we've hit a security door, get it open!

Ghost: Workin' on it...this hardware is ancient!

"Doesn't look ancient." Stylish pointed out.

"It's sarcasm, mate." Ghost said coldly.

The door on the other side of the next room opens.

Captain MacTavish: Ghost, you opened the wrong door!

Ghost: Roger, standby... Got it!

The door in front of the team opens.

Captain MacTavish: That's better, let's go!

As they continue to engage the enemy, team members search the cells, but they are empty.

TF-141 Soldier: Cell 4-D is clear.

TF-141 Soldier: Cell clear. Move.

Captain MacTavish: Talk to me Ghost...these cells are deserted!

Ghost: Got it! Prisoner 627's been transferred to the east wing! Head through the armory in the center - that's the fastest way there.

Captain MacTavish: Roger that! Squad, head for that armory down there! Move!

The team heads downstairs to the armory. The player has a wide variety of assault rifles, shotguns, and pistols to choose from. Soon, he switches his M21 EBR to an AK-47

Captain MacTavish: See anything you like?

Ghost: Bad news mate. I'm tracking three, no, four hostile squads converging on your position!

Captain MacTavish: I can hear them coming...let's go! We're too exposed!

Russians soldiers are heard from a distance as hostiles are moving in. From the control room Ghost tries to open the door in the armory, but it locks and gets stuck.

Captain MacTavish: Ghost! Open the door!

Ghost: Bloody hell, they've locked it from the hardline. I'll have to run a bypass.

Captain MacTavish: Too late! They're already here!

Hostiles surround the armory, firing at the team from all directions. They shoot back.

Ghost: Be advised - you've got more tangos headed your way.

Captain MacTavish: We're gonna need more cover - grab a riot shield!

They grab riot shields in the armory and defend themselves from large numbers of hostiles.

Captain MacTavish: Open the door!

Ghost: Almost there! Routing through the auxiliary circuit...

The armory door opens.

Captain MacTavish: Go go go!

They advance across the floor engaging enemy targets by bashing them with their riot shields. They then reach the window at the end of the floor.

Ghost: Ghost here. Recommend you bypass the lower floors by rappelling out that window.

Captain MacTavish: Copy that! Roach, follow me!

TF-141 Soldier: Captain MacTavish, last floor clear. We'll link up with you at the bottom.

They rappel out the window down to the bottom floor,

Ghost: The camera feed in solitary confinement is dead. The power must be down in that section.

Captain MacTavish: Roger that. Squad, switch to night vision.

They switch on night vision goggles as they enter the bottom floor. They engage hostiles in a dark hallway.

Captain MacTavish: Check these cells for stragglers.

They check and clear the cells.

TF-141 Soldier 1: This one's empty.

TF-141 Soldier 2: This one's empty, too.

TF-141 Soldier 1: Clear.

TF-141 Soldier 2: Clear.

At the end of the tunnel an explosion blows a hole on the ceiling, lighting up the floor, briefly shell-shocking Roach. He soon turns off his night vision.

"Okay, is Shepherd trying to kill them?" Mine questioned.

"You're going to find out soon." Price answered her question.

Captain MacTavish: Shepherd, what the hell was that? Get the navy to cease fire!

Shepherd: The Navy isn't in a talking mood right now. Standby.

"Okay, you're doing this on purpose." Najenda pointed out.

You're going on the right path, old woman. Ghost thought while tensing his hands before relaxing.

Shepherd: Bravo Six - they've agreed to stop firing for now. Keep going, I'll keep you posted. Out.

They continue through the floor. They reach the end of the hallway.

Captain MacTavish: Go go go!

Ghost: The old shower room's about thirty feet ahead on your left. You'll have to breach the wall to get in.

Captain MacTavish: Roach - plant the breaching charge on the wall, we're taking a shortcut.

Roach plants a breaching charge on the wall. The charge explodes, throwing an enemy across the room as the team breaches the shower room.

Captain MacTavish: Spread out!

Enemies appear above them from the upper floor.

Captain MacTavish: Hostiles on the second floor! Take them out!

As the team reaches the middle of the showers, hostiles with riot shields arrive.

Captain MacTavish: Heavy assault troops up ahead! Don't attack them head on! Move quickly and hit them from the side! Cook your grenades to detonate behind them!

Roach uses his GP-23 Grenade launcher and Frags to make easy work on the riot shield enemies. The team pushes through, they move across the shower room.

Captain MacTavish: Use the lockers for cover!

The enemies are eliminated and they reach the end of the showers.

Captain MacTavish: I'm heading for that hole in the far end of the showers! Follow me! Let's go! Go go go!

They jump down the hole into a tunnel.

Captain MacTavish: Ghost, we're in the old tunnel system heading south-southwest.

Ghost: Ok. Keep going along that tunnel.

Captain MacTavish: Talk to me Ghost...I don't want to be down here when those ships start firing again.

Ghost: Keep going, you're almost there.

They slide down a slope and move to the end of the tunnel.

Ghost: I'm detecting two heat signatures - one of them should be Prisoner 627.

Roach plants a breaching charge on the wall. The charge explodes. In slow motion, Prisoner 627 is seen getting off a chair, strangles the guard with his handcuffs, and then moves towards Roach. The prisoner punches Roach down to the floor and aims an AK-47 at him.

"Okay, now that was just rude!" Mine exclaimed.

"I'm going to punch whoever punched Roach!" Leone declared. Meanwhile, Price quietly sighed as he knew that he punched Roach and looked at him before he looks back at the screen.

. Looking at the prisoner, Roach realises that the Prisoner in none other than Captain Price.

Almost everyone in the room became in disbelief.

"Pr-Price!" Mine shouted.

"How?" Wave questioned.

"Huh." Price started. "Maybe you need to see something in order to understand why I was there."

MacTavish approaches Price and points his M1911 pistol at him.

Captain MacTavish: Drop it!

Captain Price: Soap?

Captain MacTavish: Price? (He grabs his M1911's barrel with his other hand and hands it back to Price) This belongs to you, sir.

Worm: Who's Soap?

"Yeah, why is your name Soap?" Wave asked the Scotsman.

"Huh, it's classified." Soap bluntly answered.

After a small moment of reunion, an explosion soon shakes the room, alerting the four..

Captain MacTavish: Come on, we gotta get outta here! Move! Move!

Shepherd: Bravo Six - be advised, they've started the bombardment early! Get the hell outta there now!

"I think you purposely did that." Esdeath pointed out and although she never cared about their lives, she wouldn't use them until the very end.

Captain MacTavish: Go go go!

"Soap", Price, Roach, and Worm move through the tunnel system. At the end of the tunnel a Little Bird hovers across from them.

Captain MacTavish: There's the chopper! Get ready to jump!

Before they could reach the chopper, the tunnel collapses.

Captain MacTavish: Go back go back! We'll find another way out! This way this way!

They run back the other way through the halls and reach a cafeteria. An undetonated bomb lies on the floor where it has made a hole on the ceilings above.

Worm: It's a dead end!

Captain MacTavish: Six-Four, where the hell are you, over?

Pave Low Pilot: Bravo Six, there's too much smoke, I can't see you I can't see you -

Pieces of rubble knock down Roach, who then briefly blacks out.

Captain MacTavish: Roach is down! Roach!

Price helps Roach out of the rubble.

Captain Price: Whatever you're gonna do Soap, do it fast!

Soap fires a flare from his M203.

Pave Low Pilot: Bravo Six, I see your flare. SPIE rig on the way.

A rope is lowered down. Price helps up Roach.

Captain Price: Let's go! Let's go!

Captain MacTavish: Hook up! Go go!

They hook up on the line.

Captain Price: Hang on!

They are extracted out of the gulag.

Captain Price: YEEEEEEEES!

The gulag explodes as the Navy completely decimates it with artillery fire.

Omake: Find Makarov: Operation Kingfish

When the screen turns black, many of them questioned themselves how the hell did Price end up in a gulag?

"Yeah, Price. How'd you end up there?" Tatsumi started off.

"How long you were there for?" Mine questioned.

"Alright, I'll answered the first one." Price answered the first question and soon got the controller off Akame with at least a permission. He then pulled a file and it read: Operation Kingfish.

"Sir, are you sure you're fine with that?" Ghost asked as he and the others felt wry about the footage.

"They have to understand it to know why I ended up there." Price responded and soon the video soon plays.

The video starts off with Soap, who is sitting at a table, loading an M4A1's magazine, and Shepherd is standing in the corner.

Shepherd: Start from the beginning.

Ghost and Roach just decided to stay quiet.

A flashback begins. The view cuts to a satellite in space.

Command (male): 5-6-9-3, we got Kingfish's playground in sight.

Command (female): 141 is on the ground, in position.

Command (male): 2500 miles, target elevation is 2-2-1-5 in the cell.

Command (female): 6-4, copy that.

Command (male): Target is surrounded by multiple personnel.

Command (female): We're operating in a restricted ROB.

Command (male): Copy that, I think he's left the playground.

Command (female): Solid copy.

Command (male): Operation Kingfish is a go. Mission is kill or capture. I repeat, kill or capture.

Karkonosze Mountains, Ukraine

Price: 141 is moved to standby positions.

Sandman: We count four targets patrolling the roof of the east and west barracks. Targets are locked in. Delta ready to engage, over.

Price instantly recognised the voice. "That's Sandman."

"Who?" Najenda asked.

"A good friend of ours in Delta Force." Soap answered.

"Delta Force?" Wave questioned.

"It's a special forces like Night Raid and Jaegers." Price answered.

Command (male): Copy Delta, you are free to engage. Let's stir up the hornet's nest.

Sandman: (to Frost) Fire, fire, fire!

Frost takes down some targets with his sniper rifle.

"Okay, that was a good kill." Mine pointed out.

Sandman: He's down. Hornet's Nest has been stirred! Spectre 6-4, you are clear to engage the playground.

AC-130 Pilot: Spectre 6-4's moving in. Light them up.

Russian soldiers are gunned down.

AC-130 Gunner: Good kill, good kill.

Russian soldiers: Ты их видишь? Откуда они стреляют? Что происходит?

"I think we all need to learn the Russian language." Najenda declared as it can help the Revolutionary Army send messages.

"We can teach you since we knew the basics." Ghost added.

AC-130 Pilot: Smoke that building.

The AC-130 destroys a building.

"I forgot how destructive the AC-130 can do." Leone reminded.

AC-130 Gunner: Ka-boom! 141, we got you covered. Go have some fun.

The team advances.

Russiansoldier: Четыре солдата за-

Soap shoots an enemy soldier.

Price: Spectre 6-4, fire at the west barracks.

AC-130 Pilot: You got it.

The barracks is then destroyed. Soap takes down two Russian soldiers with his grenade launcher, then the team advances into the house.

Price: Spectre 6-4, Give us an entrance.

AC-130 Pilot: Rolling in.

Inside the house.

Price: Frag out!

Russian soldiers: Бля! Граната!

The team takes down some enemy soldiers.

Ghost: Clear right. Hallway, clear!

Price: Tossing grenade.

Russian soldiers: Блядь! Чёрт, чёрт, чёрт!

Soap: Move up.

Roach plants an explosive charge on a door.

Price: 141 has arrived.

The door is blown up.

Soap: 9-Bang out!

The three blinded enemy soldiers are shot.

Ghost: All clear.

Price: 141 has arrived at target. There's no sign of Kingfish. I repeat, there is no sign of Kingfish.

"This is a set up." Najenda said.

"You're right, lass." Soap admitted.

Command (male): Copy 141, collect any intel you can. If he's not there, find out where he's going.

Soap: Price, you need to see this.

A picture of the Bravo Six team is shown with the deceased crossed out.

"Holy shit…" that was all Seyru said.

"Jesus, just how much insane is Makarov?" Tatsumi gulped.

"Well, he can be that much insane that the ice General." Price answered.

Soap: He's targeting Bravo Six.

A C4 explosive is seen under the table.

Price: Bomb! Get down!

The team escapes, then the C4 explodes. Now back to the briefing with Shepherd.

Present day

Soap: It was a trap.

Shepherd: I know. Tell me about Price.

The view cuts to the team, running to a V-22 Osprey for exfil.

Karkonosze Mountains, Ukraine

Soap: Move, move, move!

Price: 141 approaching evac point, requesting danger close fire!

AC-130 Pilot: Solid copy 141, we got you covered.

The AC-130 fires at enemy soldiers.

AC-130 Pilot: Whoahhh!

AC-130 Gunner: Hot damn! That's gotta hurt.

Russiansolders: Сбейте самолёт! Прикрывайте меня, я стреляю!

A Russian soldier fires an RPG-7 at the AC-130.

AC-130 Gunner: That rocket fire? Shit, spark the flares, spark the flares!

AC-130 Pilot: Copy that, deploying flares.

AC-130 Gunner: Flares! Flares!

Flares are deployed, and the rocket misses the AC-130. The soldier launches another rocket.

AC-130 Gunner: Oh, shit, another one.

AC-130 Pilot: Here comes another one!

AC-130 Gunner: Break right, break right!

AC-130 Pilot: AARRRGH!

The AC-130 is destroyed.

"Okay, what the hell!" Mine shouted.

"How the hell did they manage to shoot down that plane?" Stylish questioned.

"It either a variant to a guided missile or just sheer luck." Ghost shrugs.

"I would say that was sheer luck." Lubbock finished.

Command (female): Spectre 6-4 is down. I repeat, Spectre 6-4 is...

Soap: Keep moving!

Sandman: RPG!

An RPG rocket is fired and explodes near Soap, wounding him.

Sandman: Covering fire! Roach! Pull!

Sandman and Roach drag Soap to the chopper.

Price: Go! That's an order!

Ghost: Fuck!

Frost and Ghost rush to the Osprey while Price fires at enemy soldiers.

Sandman: Price!

Command (male): Jigsaw, your orders are to take off immediately.

Sandman: No. Stop! We still have a man out there!

Helicopter Pilot: Sir, our orders are to evacuate now.

Sandman: We're not leaving anyone behind!

Price: Get that bird in the air!

Sandman: (to the pilot) I don't care what your orders are!

"Never leave a soldier." Wave said.

"Sometimes, you have to." Ghost countered.

Helicopter Pilot: We stay, we're all dead.

Helicopter Pilot 2: Lifting off.

The helicopter lifts off. Soap refuses to leave Price behind, but Roach forces him to stay in the helicopter. Price is shot to the left shoulder; he pulls out his pistol and takes down more soldiers. He is wounded again, and Russian soldiers are seen running towards him.

Present day

Shepherd: That's it?

Soap: (hitting the table) Who is Kingfish?!

Shepherd throws him a dossier with a picture of Makarov, which confirms that Kingfish is Makarov.

Shepherd: We'll get him.

Soap stabs Makarov's picture in the eye. The credits roll.

"Okay, I'm totally confused?" Sheele said.

Price then breathed before explaining it to Sheele. " Operation Kingfish to a Kill/ Capture mission in Ukraine of 2013 conducted by the 141 joint by Delta force. We manage to infiltrate the building, but is was all a set up.

"And that was…" Najenda said.

"Makarov was always one step ahead." Ghost finished.

"And in the next three years, I spend in the gulag." Price answered Mine's question.

"Anyway, no that we know how you ended up there, who will go next?" Leone asked.

"I'll go." Tatsumi said and soon got the controller off Price.

Jeez, that was one long chapter. I need to take a two day break before I come back uploading chapters again. Comment down below on any suggestions. This is Crimson Soldat, Peace.
