Despite the late hour Leo stood just outside the dojo doors watching his daughter. It had been a month since the shooting. Nikki had fully recovered. Levi was back to his normal troublesome self. He'd taken on the role of comic relief keeping other two busy as much as he could.

Point was they were all healing.

But Andrea.

He shook his head in frustration. She'd been doing her katas all night. . .for weeks. If she wasn't doing that, she was with Master Splinter in meditation or sparing with Raphael's punching bag. Even Nikki had little luck reaching her. He was beginning to get worried.

"Déjà vu, my son?" Splinter questioned survey the scene with his son.

Leo looked down, ashamed. "Yes. . .Sensei. I-I don't know how to help her. Not even Lila can get her to talk about what happened."

Splinter hummed in thought, stroking his beard. Andrea about faced and started her kata over either unaware of their presence or ignoring them. He wished their meditation sessions were more productive, but the results were slow moving.

Her hair unbrushed, the bags under her eyes were dark, and the light was gone from her eyes.

It seemed she handled pain the same was Leonardo did, by blaming herself.

"My son, her demons were festering before they were attacked. She needs time."

Leo was a patient person, but not being able to help his daughter when she needed help rubbed his guilt raw.

"Continue her training. Her mind needs it. All we can do is be there for her when she needs us."

Leo nodded taking his father's words to heart. He approached his daughter stopping at the edge of the mat concerned when she didn't acknowledge him. "Andrea, stop."

Andrea hesitate debating if she wanted to deal with another lecture or purposely ignore him and piss him off. She decided to stop just to hear what he had to say, but she wouldn't look at him. "What?"

Leo decided to not comment on her attitude. "You need to rest."

"I can't."

"Why?"

Andrea said nothing, much to his frustration.

"I'm just trying to help, Andrea."

Andrea wrapped her arms around herself feeling the desperation in his voice. "I just want to be worth something." A few stray tears slipped down her cheeks which Leo wiped away.

"You are worth something, Andrea. There's nothing more you could've done," he said gently knowing that feeling well.

"I couldn't do. . .anything," her voice quivering. "I just stood there! I ran away! Nikki almost died. April could've been hurt. I couldn't do anything but run," she sobbed. "It's the only thing I'm good at."

Leo took his daughter by the shoulders looking at her hard. As difficult as it was to see her cry, he was happy she was opening up. "You can't change the past."

"It's not the past I'm worried about," Andrea admitted. "I'm not stupid. I know that nothing can change what has already happened. But something about us is dangerous. I-I can feel it. . . We heal faster. Nikki is strong. I'm fast. Mira can practically disappear. Who knows what the other one can do! We were made to be weapons."

"Andrea," Leo started hoping he would word this right. "No one can decide what you are worth, and you just started your training. You shouldn't put yourself on such a high pedestal. . .trust me. It doesn't matter what you were created for. That doesn't matter anymore. You did what you could in the moment. You're alive."

Andrea wiped the last of her tears not ready to give up that there was more she should've done. "I have meditation with Master Splinter," she excused herself happy when Leo didn't try to stop her. She sat before Splinter trying to relax. Deep down she knew Leo was right but the not knowing bothered her. She could settle with being good enough right now, but there was still so much they didn't know about themselves
