Conversation Begins:
Aphrodite: And after a long time in which our author graduated from college, he started a new job and so on. With nothing more to say, we are back.
The audience applauds while the band plays.
Aphrodite: Thank you, you can stop. Our author has been through a long season in recent months. College ended and he graduated. Now he is working like a maniac in a company, so his time is limited without forgetting a certain virus. But none of you are here for that, you are here for the story. So, let us welcome Horus, the god of war and hunting from the Egyptian Patheon.
A hawk-headed, muscular god dressed in little clothes walks toward the couch as he greets those present. After a couple of moments, the Egyptian god takes a seat.
Horus: Aphrodite, is a pleasure to come to your show.
Aphrodite: The pleasure is mine, bird head. How does immortality treat you?
Horus: Not as bad as other gods, although Apep is still a nuisance to my work.
Aphrodite: The enmity between the two seems to continue even after all this time. I mean both of you work in the land of war where everyone fights every day and night for the glory of their god or pantheon.
Horus: That's right. My group fights endlessly against gods like Ares, Takemikazuchi, or Perun. Each god chooses dead warriors who can escape their punishments in the afterlife by serving in this endless war. In my army, I own more than 25,000 warriors ready to bring me glory.
Aphrodite: You seem very proud of it. Could this change in attitude be due to Artemis retiring from the battlefield?
Horus: Do not make me remember her. I hope her marriage and family life will keep her away from all of us. She and her husband were an unstoppable nuisance.
Aphrodite: I get and understand your position. Although I do not think Orion is happy. The fact that she chose someone who was not him must hurt.
Horus: You cannot even imagine. We no longer call him Orion the Great Hunter, now he is Orion the big loser. He is always crying about it and even when fighting you can see him calling her name. Is just sad and funny in a weird way.
Aphrodite: Well Horus it was a pleasure to have you on the show. Good luck with your warriors.
Horus: Thank you and please readers if you are strong wait for my call when you die. I am always looking for new soldiers.
Aphrodite: Enjoy.

By Try Another Time
Fireworks were thrown into the sky from quidditch court as spectators screamed full of excitement. This was the first game of the season and perhaps the most anticipated by two houses. Gryffindor and Slytherin were the most excited. If they hated each other before, nowadays after their teacher had been crushed by a Gryffindor freshman the hate had reached its peak.
"Slytherin! Slytherin! Slytherin!" The students were screaming in the stands of Slytherin.
"Gryffindors! Gryffindors! Gryffindors!" Likewise shouted those in the stands of the crimson house.
While that is happening, our small group was in a neutral stand for obvious reasons. Even if both members of their group were playing for Gryffindors, Daphne and Tracey would not be well accepted in Gryffindor's stands. It was better to prevent than to cause trouble for everyone.
On the other hand, Snape was still quite wounded, watch the event from his seat next to the other teachers and staff. In the hands of Poppy Pomfrey, he was able to see a glass sphere that was allowing Dumbledore and the guards to watch the game from Dumbledore's office.
Suddenly, a loud sound made everyone focus their eyes on the presenter's area.
"Well, I can see the energies on both sides of this game. My name is Lee Jordan from the Gryffindors House, and I will be your host for this and all other Quidditch games this season. This has been a strange and exciting year for a variety of reasons, but I assure you that nothing compares to this season of Quidditch. Normally our director Albus Dumbledore would be the one who would open the first game with a little speech, but this time it will not be like that. I'll turn my microphone to Professor Minerva McGonagall." Jordan explains.
Minerva stood up before taking the microphone. "Good afternoon to all students and staff present. Quidditch is a game that has evolved quite a lot over time and that I practice myself during my youth. It is an exciting and dangerous game but above all a game in which you have to give your best. No matter what house you belong to in this game or any other reason you might have, I hope you will give your best this season. For the first time, all teams have registered more extra players than previous years so the rule that prevented changing players in the middle of the game will be forgotten for the rest of the season and was approved by Madam Hooch. This will allow us to see many more players showing off their capabilities. Let us begin this season of Quidditch."
Everyone applauded after listening to it.
Lee took the microphone again. "Thank you, Professor McGonagall, for those words. Let us welcome the teams. First, we have Slytherin's team taking flight being led by Marcus Flint. Marcus begins this year as the team captain after the previous captain graduated the year before."
Everyone watches as the green team takes flight. Marcus goes to the front being closely followed by the rest of his team as he is applauded by his house and booed by Gryffindor. His reputation as a cheating and rough player preceded him from his beginnings on the team.
Marcus smiles before flying near Gryffindor's students. "Don't have much hope of idiots. Once again I will crush your team like the cockroaches they are."
Gryffindor's supporters boo him even more while Marcus just laughs.
From their seats somewhere else, Daphne covers her face. "And this is another reason why I cannot support my team, even if they forced me to do it. The guy's a scoundrel."
"We understand you," Hermione said while on her knees Astra stretched and rested as if it were a normal cat. The captain of Slytherin's team was not only as a horse ass in the court but was known for other activities not well seen by the majority of the female population of Hogwarts.
"Just wait. Parvati will end this at the most unexpected moment." Padma had a lot of confidence in her sister's abilities and that if she crossed paths with Marcus he would end up in the infirmary for several days.
Slytherin's team takes its positions and waits for their opponents.
"There you have it. Slytherin is set to face their adversaries, but will it be enough to defeat Gryffindor? The previous year the team lost their seeker while also losing the season, but this year it seems to come out with everything. Under Oliver Wood's leadership, the team appears to have been able to acquire new life with its two new players. That is right, two new players join Gryffindor's team this year. So, let us see who they are." Lee explains before everyone sees how quickly Gryffindor's team enters the playing area while flying at high speed.
Led by Oliver Wood, Gryffindors flies into formation around the field.
"And here we have the new seeker. It is the first-year student, Parvati Patil. Few of those who have taken flight classes with her cannot deny her great skill with the broom, but will her speed be enough to catch the Golden Snitch? We will have to wait and see. It also looks like Gryffindor's extra player isn't in the lineup today, but we may see him later in this game today." Lee said after he saw the absence of the unknown player he expected to see.
Some wonder where this supposed player is, but no one realizes that he is pretty close by looking at everything that is happening.
The duel with Snape not only served Harry to test his skills in front of everyone, but there was also a gift from Dumbledore, although it was rather an object that belonged to his parents and Dumbledore took the opportunity to return it.
While covered by the cloak of invisibility Harry flew on his broom along the playing field. "So, this is Slytherin's team. Now I have an idea of who to worry about. I still find it hard to believe how effective this mantle is, but it would be better for Violet to have it." The boy thought before he descended and approached the entrance from which his team came out.
No one except twins Wesley and Parvati knew what Harry was doing, but they assured Oliver that if Harry were to be needed, he was going to be in position and ready to enter the game.
Gryffindor's members continued to fly for a couple more seconds before taking their positions.
"Well with both teams on the field and in position, it's only left to wait for Madam Hooch to release the balls to the field," Lee said.
Parvati stared down as she waited for the Snitch to be released. Across from her was the seeker for the opposing team.
"You won't win. Going against me will be bad for you." The Slytherin seeker said.
Parvati turns her eyes towards him. Eyes full of determination and excitement watch him. "Think twice before you challenge me, or you won't survive."
The enemy seeker felt a chill after hearing those words. "What the hell is wrong with her? This is a game, not a war."But the boy was unaware of how serious things could become with Parvati and any kind of competition or challenge. It was better not to face her if you were not willing to pay the consequences.
Madam Hooch looked at the players. "I want a fair and serious game. I hope that I do not need to take severe actions. Got it?"
All nodded, although some weren't really into following that warning.
Madam Hooch freed the balls from the chest and after throwing the Quaffle into the sky, the game began.
"And the game begins with Angelica Johnson taking the Quaffle before flying at full speed in search of scoring Gryffindor's first points. Just look at her. She dodges Slytherin's defense and scores. Just in a matter of few moments." Lee says as he describes what is going on.
Scoreboard: Gryffindors-10 Slytherin-0
While that happens, Parvati has begun hunting the Golden Snitch at full speed. Her eyes burn with emotion as she realizes that the small golden sphere increases its speed even more than what she thought. The snitch flies randomly without any patterns she can read.
"So, this is what it means to be a seeker. Hope that's not-" Parvati's thoughts are interrupted after seeing a Bludger coming straight at her. Parvati jumps off her broom which allows the ball to pass through the small space between her and the broom. Parvati falls into the broom and without thinking it twice she continues to hunt the snitch.
From their positions, the Wesley brothers are happy with their captain's decision.
"Holy crap, Fred. Did you see that?" George asks.
"I did, but we'd better keep paying attention to our positions," Fred said although he had to admit that the girl was doing well for a rookie.
"And with an astonishing move, the young Gryffindor seeker evades a devastating hit. Oliver Wood's choice seems to be paying off." Lee says.
The game continues and Oliver Wood prevents Marcus from scoring his first points by blocking the Quaffle from going through the rings which cause Marcus' anger to increase.
"Captain vs captain yet it seems that the Slytherin captain is the loser." Lee goes on to describe each team's moves without forgetting to focus his attention on the seekers of both teams. "Now we have both seekers in a battle of speed and agility as they chase the Golden Snitch."
The Snitch flies near the stands and evades every attempt by Parvati and Slytherin's seeker to catch it. Its flight pattern is so erratic that Parvati begins to think that something possessed the devilish flying sphere.
"Fucking ball! Let me catch you." Parvati thinks, but her thoughts are interrupted by Slytherin's seeker who crashes into her. "Hey! What the hell are you doing?"
The seeker does not answer and only continues to try to take down Parvati. This was a bad idea because Parvati decides right there to end this problem once and for all. Within seconds Parvati spins her broom at full speed in a 360-degree turn, which hits the Slytherin's seeker right in the face and knocks him unconscious as he falls into the stands. Parvati resumes her quest for the golden Snitch quickly.
"Amazing play by Parvati. With a hard maneuver using her broom she has knocked down her opponent. Looks like Slytherin has lost their first player. Will their seeker come back or are they going to be forced to use a replacement player?" Lee says.
Slytherin's captain was furious at this and decides to take revenge. He approaches his team's beaters and points to Angelica Johnson as he gives them some orders.
Both strikers smile as they prepare to make their move.
George Wesley sees this from his position and imagines what is going to happen, but he will not allow it if it is Angelica.
The game continues for several more minutes with Slytherin scoring ten points, but once again Angelica is the one who carries the Quaffle in her hands as she flies near George.
Gryffindors-10 Slytherin-10
Angelica flies focusing on reaching the opponent's area which makes it impossible for her to notice how the two Bludger were redirected towards her. George sees this leaves his position behind and heads to intercept them.
"George?" Fred yells when he sees his brother flying away.
Oliver sees George flying at a high speed and in a matter of seconds, it happens.
George uses his bat to redirect one of the Bludger to another location, but the second one hits him clearly on the left arm at full speed which knocks him off from his broom. George falls to the ground.
"George!" Exclaims Fred.
Angelica continues to fly without realizing that George has sacrificed himself for her. But thanks to the sacrifice she can continue and score another ten points for Gryffindor.
Gryffindors-20 Slytherin-10
But no one celebrates because George is still on the ground motionless. Harry comes out of hiding and rushes up to George as the game continues. When he gets here, Harry quickly checks George's pulse.
"He's got a pulse and he seems to be breathing." Harry thinks. "George? Do you hear me?"
George does not seem to react.
"George Weasley you'd better wake up. I'm not going to carry your dead body into the lockers or have to explain this to your sister." Harry says as he slightly shakes his partner's face. This helps George react.
"... Uh... Harry?" George says with difficulty. "What happened?"
"You tell me. How do you feel?" Harry says while making sure that no other Bludger comes to their location.
"My whole body hurts, but my arm hurts even more," George says as he tries to get up, but the pain in his left arm is indescribable. "Damn it!"
Harry looks at his partner's arm and notices how blood is starting to stain his uniform. "George, don't move. I'll get you to the infirmary as soon as possible." Harry takes his wand out and makes George's body levitate.
Madam Hooch goes down to their location. "Can he keep playing?"
"He's not fit to do so. I'll take him to the infirmary and come back to replace him." Harry says. The boy looks at Oliver and gives him some kind of signal which tells him That George cannot go on.
Oliver understands. "Time out."
"The captain of Gryffindors has requested time out. Based on the rules the game stops for 10 minutes or less and players must return to the lockers." Explains Lee Jordan. "Both teams can use this time to discuss strategies and make sure their injured players are ok."
Gryffindor's team flies down and catches up with their teammates.
"George? How do you feel?" Fred asks.
"I think I'll be in the infirmary for a long time," George says with a smile. He tries to raise his arm, but the pain is unbearable.
"Don't overdo it and stop talking, I need to get you to the infirmary as soon as possible," Harry says before he starts walking in a hurry.
The other players follow him. Angelica is devastated. George put his life in danger because of her carelessness. Parvati sees her and decides to approach her.
"Don't blame yourself," Parvati says as they walk together.
"But- " Angelica is interrupted.
"He knew what he was doing. If you want to thank him, continue to play with much more determination than before. He is going to be fine." Parvati understood that Angelica felt guilty, but this was Quidditch, and things like happen all the time.
As the team followed their wounded teammate, in the stands the eyes of several focused-on Harry after seeing him wearing his Quidditch's uniform. Many had heard the rumors, but no one had received confirmation that he was participating up to this point.
Minutes later, infirmary.
George was in one of the beds while Harry waited for the nurses to tell him that everything was fine with his teammate. The game should have already started, even if he were not back, but he was confident they'd be fine.
"One broken arm, four broken ribs, a concussion and multiple wounds in other parts of your body. Mr. Weasley, you're lucky you don't have more serious injuries." One of the nurses said.
"Luck is on my side," George said with a smile, though he felt awful.
"Leave the jokes. You hardly survive after that fall." Harry was serious about this situation.
"Hey, but at least made sure Angelica could keep playing," George said before he thought about the girl he was attracted to.
Harry looked at him and did not say anything. He imagined there was another reason George had made such a move.
"Harry?" George says.
"What's going on?" Harry asks.
"Go back to that game and win," George says. "Make they suffer an unforgettable defeat."
Harry smiles and turns around. "Nurses, may I go?"
"Thank you for bringing him so fast. He's in safe hands." The same nurse as before said.
"George I'll see you later." Harry walks out of the infirmary feeling ready to do his best during the game.
Back on the field.
"The game continues with Gryffindor missing a player, but it seems that the loss of one of its members has lit the flames of passion in the team. Angelica Johnson is playing like never before just like the other members of her team. Parvati Patil continues to fly, trying to catch up with the erratic golden Snitch while the replacement seeker tries to keep up with her. But even with the team playing so well it has not prevented Slytherin's counterattack which has led to Marcus getting another ten points. This brings us to a score with Gryffindor-30 and Slytherin-20. Can Gryffindors keep the lead? or will their last player come too late?" Lee says as the match continues.
