"Bakakashi" Obito squinted at his rival/friend, suspicion and paranoia crawling across his shoulders. "What are you doing?"

The jounin was glaring out his window while clutching a mug of coffee. Obito tried to see what had the other man so pissed, but saw nothing.

"Don't ignore me bastard!"

"Oh Obito, I didn't know you were here..." He trailed of in a mumble, eyes firmly fixated on whatever was outside.

"Of course I'm here! Who do you think carried you home after the bar?!" He hissed. "We just had breakfast!"

"Ah." Kakashu sipped his coffee. "That's nice."

"What the hell are you looking at?!"

"Toru Eri-san has something unpleasant on her lawn."

Obito went to respond, but stopped short once he processed what he heard. "Huh?"

"She planted palm trees, Obito." Kakashi scoffed. "In the front yard."

"So….?"

His friend ignored him. "What are they even good for? It's not like they're blocking out the sun!"

"To think I would have to endure looking at something so tacky, I should file a complaint at the next meeting."

Obito stared. "Are... are you seriously about to lodge a complaint against an innocent woman because she has palm trees in her yard?"

Kakashi glanced at him before looking back at the yard. "You make it sound childish."

"It is."

"It's clearly an atrocity, why should the rest of us have to look at such an eyesore?" He said.

Before Obito can describe just why everything he just said was crazy another person entered the kitchen. "You guys had breakfast without me?" There stood Rin in rumpled clothes and bedhair. "Why didn't you wake me?"

"You're here now." Kakashi shrugged.

"I didn't feel like it." Obito said.

"You're both asses."

"What are you looking at Kakashi-kun?" Rin looked at him when he didn't respond. "Kakashi-kun?"

Obito answered instead. "His neighbor planted palm trees."

"What?!" Rin hurried to look out the window. "Ugh. That's so gross!"

"Right?!"

"Who puts palm trees in the front yard?! Are those gnomes designed after the Hokages? They have all four?!" Rin recoiled in disgust. "Who are these weirdos?!"

"They just moved in six months ago." Kakashi spoke conspiratorally. "The gnomes are just the beginning."

"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Obito hissed.

Rin shook her head. "Oh goodness..."

"She and her family came the next day they moved in and gave me a jello with cucumbers inside."

Both Rin and Obito paled.

"Those sick bastards." Obito murmured.

"They're the kind of people who talk nonstop and their children are monsters." Kakashi took another sip. "I could overlook all their little quirks, all accept those. Damn. Palm trees.

"You're so tolerant Kakashi-kun." Rin pat his shoulder.

Obito feels like his falling down a waterfall.

"I know." He sighed. "It's why people always try to take advantage of me."

'When' The brunette's jaw dropped. 'have you ever?!'

He watched as Rin nodded understandingly, Obito is now drowning underneath the waterfall.

"What the hell is wrong with you two?!"
