"Okay," Levy said, taking deep breaths so she could stay as calm as possible," We know that Gajeel was most likely taken against his will by this guy and that he is most likely being held in the research lab."

"That is correct," Juvia nodded, crossing her legs as she sat," So the next step is coming up with a plan to rescue him."

"And that is my cue to leave," Lyon grinned as he stood up.

"How come?" Levy asked, frowning as she watched the man. Lyon turned to her with a small sigh.

"Even though I am a private investigator, there is still a line drawn between my ability to keep things confidential and being forced to hand over evidence to the police," Lyon explained as he grabbed his suitcase," I fear you are about to cross that line, so it's best that I'm not here when you do."

"We understand," Erza nodded. Levy walked over to him, giving him a small nod," Thank you very much, Lyon."

"It was no problem," he smiled kindly," I hope you and Gajeel have a long and happy future together, Miss Levy."

"Thank you for coming here at such a short notice, Lyon," Juvia said, as she stood to give the man a hug. Lyon began to blush, but quickly recovered his cool.

"I'd do anything for you, my sweet Juvia!"

"Alright, that's it!" Gray exclaimed, walking over and breaking them apart," On your way, Lyon."

"Take care of her Gray," Lyon said before lowering his voice," Because if you leave her, I'll be right there to pick her up."

"Then I hope you enjoy being alone for the rest of your life," Gray snarled. Juvia began to squeal and blush in Gray's embrace.

"He plans to be with me forever!"

After Lyon left, there was a moment of silence before Juvia spoke.

"We need to go get him back," she said calmly. At once, everyone began to speak over each other.

"Well, then let's go!" Natsu yelled, starting towards the door.

"Idiot!" Gray exclaimed, grabbing him by the shirt," We can't all go."

"He's right," Erza nodded," Too many of us would raise suspicions."

"So who's gonna go?" someone asked.

"Well, obviously Juvia will go," the russian said," After all, I have the most experience in this field."

"You've dealt with this before!?"

"Gajeel and Juvia have both been kidnapped more than we count," she laughed," so we're pretty used to this. It's been a while though."

"I need to go too!" Levy exclaimed, standing up. Everyone looked at her shocked.

"Are you sure?" Lucy asked cautiously.

"I need to see him," she said softly.

"I agree," Juvia nodded, patting Juvia's back softly," Knowing him, Gajeel will be worried about her. Seeing her will help."

"So Juvia, Levy and who else?"

"I'll go," Erza volunteered, standing up," After all, I am trained in martial arts, so if we do need to fight anyone, I'd be more than useful."

"Then count us in too," Mira exclaimed, grabbing Laxus, who looked bored by the whole thing.

"Are you skilled in combat as well?" Juvia asked, curious. Sure, Laxus would be useful, but Mira was the petite, gorgeous desk girl. Not exactly useful in a hostage situation.

"Well, I am an ex professional wrestler," Mira smirked, making "muscles"," and Laxus is a black belt."

"This is a good team," Juvia nodded befoe turning back to everyone else," We'll also need someone here to help."

"I'm not too bad with technology," Lucy said timidly," I can probably help."

"And Wendy," Juvia said, turning to the youngest member," Gajeel is most likely going to be injured. But we won't be able to take him to a hospital as they'll question the injuries. That means he's going to need to come back here. Will you be able to set up?"

"O-of course," Wendy stammered, before turning to Mest," Will you help me? I'll need to move some pretty heavy equipment."

"Sure!"

"That settles it," Juvia said, before turning to the team," We need to come up with a plan then."

"What about us?" Gray and Natsu yelled at the same time, before glaring at each other.

"What about you?" Levy frowned.

"We're coming too!" Natsu exclaimed, before he was slapped by Erza.

"Like hell you're coming!" Laxus scoffed," You dumbasses can't keep quiet for hell."

"But Natsu," Mira said sweetly, taking the fiery boy by the arm and leading him over to the blonde girl pulling out her laptop," Lucy will need your help."

"My help?"

"His help?"

"Mhm," Mira nodded, silencing Lucy with a look," You can't abandon her, can you?"

"No!"

With that, Natsu was "helping" Lucy, eager to ensure that his girlfriend was safe.

"Exactly!" Mira cheered, pleased with herself. One down...

"Well, I'll still go!" Gray said firmly," Juvia needs me, right?"

"Gray," Juvia smiled, waving him over. The man smirked at Natsu and walked over.

With one quick blow, Gray crumpled to the floor.

"There," Juvia said, looking pleased," Now he won't bother us!"

"Will he be okay?!" Wendy gasped, dropping down next to the unconscious man.

"Juvia has done this before. He'll be out for an hour or two."

"O-okay," Levy stammered, eager to not be the next to receive Juvia's chop," Let's get going then."

"Take my car," Laxus grunted," It's a van so we'll be able to hide some of us in the back. Make it easier to sneak in."

"Good idea," Juvia nodded, starting to exit. She turned back to Levy, grinning," Let's go get Gajeel back!"
