The boys' clash at the harbour brought a smile to Kaoru's lips. Yutaro was going to be fine. And that knowledge lifted some of the guilt from Kensin's shoulders as well, for he seemed to smile in relief. He hadn't done that in days and it still wasn't an easy one.
"Children have the ability to heal, given the chance." She touched his shoulder lightly. "I think you gave just that."
Genuine surprise widened his eyes at her remark. Just when did she learn to read him so well?
