"Okay, try not to laugh." Sans said, with Undyne and several others. Sans walked behind a curtain and started to yell. "SO, I'VE GOT A QUESTION FOR YA." "Oh no." Sans ran out with a banana mask on his head and yelled, "DO YOU THINK EVEN THE WORST BANANA CAN RIPEN?" Marie died. She was on the ground laughing so hard it hurt at the unexpected joke. Sans looked at her with a large grin and said, "Even the dumbest humor can make people laugh." Undyne was next. She bolted to behind the curtain and said, "ARE YOU READY KIDS?!" Papyrus yelled back, "EYE EYE, CAPTAIN!" "I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" "EYE EYE CAPTAIN!" Undyne ran out with a large letter o. "OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHH!" She shouted. Marie again howled with laughter. This time, it was Blue's turn. "MWEH HEH HEH! I CAN AND SHALL MAKE YOU LAUGH, HUMAN MARIE!" He ran behind the curtain. Marie heard him take a huge breath, and spill out the rest of the words. "ACCORDING TO ALL KNOWN LAWS OF AVIATION, THERE IS NO WAY A BEE SHOULD BE ABLE TO FLY. IT'S WINGS ARE TOO SMALL TO GET IT'S FAT LITTLE BODY OFF THE GROUND. THE BEE, OF COURSE, FLIES ANYWAY, BECAUSE BEES DON'T CARE WHAT HUMANS AND MONSTERS THINK IS IMPOSSIBLE." Marie let out a snort, and Blue shouted, "MWEH! THAT COUNTS!" Marie couldn't help but smile. After that, Marie said her goodbyes and everyone faded. Marie saw a memory again, and it continued off the last one. She saw the hall again as Sans' eye begun to blaze. Countless times she saw the possessed Frisk die to his hand. After a while, Sans, who had grown tired, was stuck by them, while Marie shrieked in horror and sadness. Marie was on the ground, tears rolling off her cheeks to see her best friend there hurt, and she couldn't do anything about it. Frisk's insane smile faded and they began to cry ever nore than Marie was. Marie widened her eyes and started to cry even more. Sans stood up again and looked at Frisk with damp eyes and said, "So...I guess that's it, huh? Just...don't say I didn't warn ya." He began to limp away. "Welp, I'm going to Grillby's. Papyrus..." He trailed off, looking in frount of him with eyes filled with brotherly love. "Do you want anything?" After he said that, he collapsed and turned to dust. After the horrible memory, Marie jolted awake to see Okami looking at her with a concerned expression. "I guess that was one heck of a dream, huh?" She said, sounding awkward. "I was kinda lonely, and Percy invited me in here, and I heard you laughing in your sleep, and soon after...you started to cry." Okami looked at her with compassion in her eyes. "Do you wanna tell me what it was about?" Marie was hesitant, but immediately accepted. "You know how there are other people linked to my SOUL? Well, when I talk with them in my dreams, I get either a picture, or a full blown memory belonging to one person." "That skeleton?" Okami asked, and Marie nodded. "And...he's seen some stuff, that's for sure. It's not my place to say exactly what I, or rather, what he saw. It's just a mix of bad and good, just like the rest of us." "It sounded like both." "Well, yeah." "Well, I won't pry any deeper. G'night, Marie." "Goodnight."

"NO!" Marie heard a loud scream, and rushed outside. Marie looked around frantically, and found that Percy had dropped a plate and broke it. Marie used her magic to pick it up, and Percy tapped her shoulder. Marie looked back at her to find a bunch of syrup on her dress. Percy was giggling a bit, and Marie couldn't help but join in. Marie turned around to look for some wipes, or anything to help Percy out, and ran smack into Pebbles. "Sorry about that." Pebbles said, sounding uneasy. "Are you okay?" "Yeah, just...tired." They sure sounded tired, but Marie could sense his fear and sadness. "No, you're not just tired." Marie voiced her suspicions. Pebbles seemed to almost flinch, and they asked Marie if she could talk to them in private. "To be completely honest, and even if I wasn't, you'd probably know," Pebbles said truthfully. "I respect you a lot as leader, and as the one to save everyone, and I know that we all have to do our part..." Marie prompted them to go on with a nod. "But I don't think I'm ready for it. I...I want to go see my family. I want to pass the barrier and be with them." Marie's eyes widened with shock and then they were filled with sadness. "I thought you might feel that way. Your eyes give your emotions away easily. They become a dark and ominous blue when you're angry, they become wide and light when excited or suprised or startled. They become a cloudy and watery blue when you're sad or upset." Pebbles explained. "Well, while we all will be sad to see you go, in the end, it's always your choice if you want to leave or stay. But if you do go, I only ask something of you, and you can't tell anyone about this." Marie urged, and Pebbles was seeing the seriousness in her eyes as well as fear. "Don't be surprised if you see me down there." Now Pebbles was the one to be shocked. "After I defeat the darkness, and fufill my destiny, I must go down there. I have to stay with the monsters so I can help with the plan to bring true peace." Marie explained. "But what about us? What about Percy?" Pebbles said, still upset. "I have been able to see glimpses of the future and the past. I know what will happen when I become the true Angel. I will have essentially an immortal life. I will not be able to die by natural causes, but only if someone or something strikes me with such power that even me, a human, would turn to dust." Marie's eyes were burning with intensity, and Pebbles listening intently. "The thing is...there is so much magic matter in me...after a while, after dying, my body would turn to dust once my SOUL is gone." Pebbles was crying, it seemed, even though they didn't have a face that Marie could see. "And another thing, I would be able to bestow gifts. Some of strength, others wisdom, and my true friends and family...the same ability to not die that way." Marie's eyes were almost ablaze. Pebbles could feel the emotion coming off her in waves. "So, you really plan ahead." Pebbles joked, wanting to lighten the mood. Marie smiled in response, and said, "Well, I guess it was my time to do so." "Oh my god, that was horrible." Pebbles laughed, and Marie could hear Sans and Papyrus in the background, Sans laughing and prasing her, and Papyrus angrily nyehing. Marie laughed and said, "I'm glad you wanted to lighten the mood." Sans quickly took control, showed by Marie's eyes turning black and white. "And all this serious talk really chilled me down to the bone." Pebbles snorted while Marie was laughing too. Sans receded in laughter as Papyrus scolded him and called him a bonehead. Oh boy, if ever there were a time Papyrus wish he was Frisk for a moment, who could turn back time, that would be then. "Well, I want to start getting my things." Pebbles said. "Leaving already?" Marie asked. "No. I'm gonna go to my family in about a week." Pebbles answered. Marie nodded, and said, "You might want to tell the others." "I will, don't worry." After that, Marie had completely forgotten about Percy needing that towel. That night, Pebbles explained to everyone that they was gonna leave soon, and it was taken quite well. Everyone was very accepting about it. After that night, Marie felt her burden lighten a bit, at someone knowing about what pain she was gonna go through, after all this was over./p
